come forward with boldness to the throne of grace and daily enthrone the Lord in your being!

This morning I was impressed with the fact that when we come to the Lord in our spirit, we need to enthrone Him and make Him the Lord in our life! Whenever we approach the throne of grace by turning to our spirit and calling on the name of the Lord, we should at the same time enthrone the Lord in our being.

Actually, when we call on the name of the Lord, O Lord Jesus! – we give Him the kingship, the lordship, and the headship in all we are and do. We don’t just speak words or have a habit of calling on the name of the Lord, but as we call on the name of the Lord and open our being to Him, we enthrone Him in our being!

Hebrews 4:16 says,

Let us therefore come forward with boldness to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help.

We need to come to the Lord early in the morning after we rise up and tell Him,

Lord, thank You for a new day for me to take You as my Lord – I just subject myself under Your headship for the whole day! Lord, set up Your throne in my life. Lord, Set up Your throne in the center of my being! Bring my whole day with my daily life and all my activities, desires, thoughts, and plans under Your throne!

When we give the Lord the preeminence and we enthrone Him first thing in the morning, the flow of the divine life within increases. Just as we see in Revelation 22:1, there is a river that flows from the throne of God – when we enthrone the Lord in our being specifically (in small things and in big things), there is a flow of life within us!

Sometimes even as we are praying we are not that willing to enthrone Him – instead of recognizing His kingship, many times we exalt ourselves above Him and we “put ourselves on the throne”. O, Lord…. – whenever we fail to enthrone the Lord in our being and in our daily life, the flow of grace from the throne stops!

This is why this needs to be our daily practice – to enthrone the Lord in our heart, in our entire being, in our activities, our plans, our desires, etc – in everything! As we enthrone the Lord, the living water flows within us!

As we call on the name of the Lord and enthrone Him in us, He comes in to rule with His kingdom. He installs and increases God’s kingdom in us in more aspects of our life and work. And this One, the King ruling in us, has a throne which is “established in lovingkindness”(Isa. 16:5) – all of us can approach Him because lovingkindness is there, there is a loving atmosphere and a grace flowing!

Also, Christ reigns in us in truth, and He judges and pursues righteousness. In ourselves we don’t treat the others rightly, and we’re not so right with the other people and things. But when we enthrone the Lord, He judges and reigns in us, He corrects and adjusts us from within, so that eventually we become like Him and are right with everyone and we have peace with everything / everyone!

The more we enthrone Him in our life, the more there’s a flow of the divine life within, and the more we become just like Him in these virtues!

Amen. Wonderful! Thank you a lot for your words, which help to water my dry heart! In recent days I have been praying to the Lord so that He would renew my heart for Him, and your sharing comes to me just on time to wipe away some of its dryness. May we no longer call on His name with our lips nor our mouths only but with our whole hearts, and we really enthrone Him whenever contacting Him. Praise the Lord that He's a living Person, and whenever we come to them, we can have His livelihood infused into us.

A tune for this – amen! Enjoy! (tune: My God, My Portion and My Love/600)

Whenever we fail to enthrone,
Enthrone the Lord in us,
The flow of grace from the throne stops!
'Tis at the very time–
We're praying, op'ning to Him.

Thus, we'd allow Him to be on–
The throne within us, and–
Honoring Him as the Head, and as–
The Lord, and as the King!
As Head, as Lord, as King.

Whenever we approach the throne–
Approach the throne of grace–
By turning to our spirit and
By calling on His name,
We should enthrone the Lord –

In us, we'd give Him the headship,
The kingship, lordship, too.
Lord Jesus, we'd enthrone You in–
In our being, then, today!
Be enthroned, now today
