Jesus the Son of God has Eyes like a Flame of Fire and Feet like Shining Bronze

Rev. 2:18 These things says the Son of God, He who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet are like shining bronze. In His speaking to the church in Thyatira, the Lord introduced Himself as the Son of God, the One who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet are like shining bronze (Rev. 2:18). He said that the church in Thyatira had a lot of works and endurance, and even more works toward the end, but He came to judge her and expose her by His flaming eyes and judging feet.

The church in Thyatira is the church reaching the worst degradation of all the churches, and in human history there was such an age called “the dark ages”, which was the age in which the Catholic Church “locked down the Bible” and didn’t let people have access to the word of God, and therefore the entire humanity was in darkness.

The Roman Catholic Church is an apostate church, a self-appointed prophetess that teaches and leads the Lord’s slaves astray (Rev. 2:20). According to the Bible, the church should take the position of a woman and Christ is the Man, the Word of God, the One who can speak and decide; however, the Catholic church presumes to have the authority from God to speak, add things to the Bible, and take things away from the Bible.

Many seekers of the Lord are in the Catholic church, and they are all being drugged and led astray by the evil and pagan teachings of this apostate church.

Even more, as Rev. 2:24 shows us, the Roman Catholic Church teaches the deep things of Satan; the mysterious and deep things and teachings of Satan are being taught in the Catholic church alongside some mentions of what the Bible says.

If we care for the Lord and love His recovery, we need to be enlightened about the apostate church and stay away from her and her practices. Once we know the apostate church according to what the Bible reveals, we will not appreciate anything related to her and we will desert her.

Today the Lord is recovering the reality of the Body of Christ, the church of God, and in the church life we have nothing to do with Jezebel, the evil woman, the harlot, the great Babylon.

Rather, in the church life we practice eating Christ as the tree of life and the hidden manna so that we may be supplied and enabled to express Christ in a pure, shining, genuine way as the lampstand of God.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God: Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God

John 20:31 But these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing, you may have life in His name.God in His wisdom foreknew that the Catholic church would deny the Lord Himself, so Christ introduced Himself to the church in Thyatira as, the Son of God (Rev. 2:18).

The apostate Roman Catholic Church emphasizes that Christ is the Son of Mary, so the Lord clearly says that He is the Son of God. It is a heresy to emphasize that Christ is the Son of Mary – Mary was the biological mother of Jesus, the slave of the Lord who afforded Him the blood and the flesh necessary for the Son of God to come into humanity.

Nowhere in the Bible are we told to worship or lift up Mary in any way, but in all the New Testament Jesus is appreciated, exalted, praised, and lifted up.

Christ being the Son of God implies the expression of God, the issue or coming out of God (see John 1:18). The One who was in the bosom of the Father came in the flesh and declared God. Concerning God’s existence, Christ is the complete God as God’s embodiment; concerning God’s issue, His coming out, Christ is the Son of God.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God: Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. John says in John 20:31, These things have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and believing, you may have life in His name.

The purpose the Gospel of John was written was to testify that Jesus is the Christ (1:41; 4:25, 29; 7:41-42) and the Son of God (1:34, 49; 9:35; 10:36). According to His office, His mission, the Lord Jesus is the Christ, the One sent by God to accomplish redemption, bring man back to God, and make man one with God so that God would be in man and man would be in God.

The apostate Roman Catholic Church strongly emphasizes Christ as the son of Mary; thus, here the Lord, protesting against the apostate heresy, says that He is the Son of God. Christ’s being the Son of God implies the expression of God, the issue, or the coming out, of God (John 1:18). Concerning God’s existence, Christ is the complete God as God’s embodiment; concerning God’s issue, His coming out, Christ is the Son of God. Christ as the embodiment of God is related to His existence, whereas Christ as the Son of God is related to the expression of God. 2016 fall ITERO, outline 5According to the aspect of life, the Lord Jesus is the Son of God, the issue and coming out of God. Peter received a revelation from the Father concerning who the Lord Jesus is, and he boldly declared, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God (Matt. 16:16).

Today in the church life we need to see the vision of Christ, the Son of the living God, and we need to exalt Christ, enjoy Christ, take Him as our life and person, and enjoy Him as our everything.

The Lord Jesus is the Christ – He was sent by the Father to accomplish God’s eternal purpose through His incarnation, crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, and second advent. The Lord Jesus is the Son of the living God – He embodies the Father and issues in the Spirit for a full expression of the Triune God.

This is what we profess concerning Christ in His person and work. This is what the Bible says concerning the Lord Jesus, but the Catholic church has polluted this to the uttermost, saying that Jesus is the son of Mary, uplifting Mary above Jesus, and denying who the Lord Jesus is – this is heresy.

May we return to the pure revelation in the Bible to know and enjoy Christ in His person and work – in His Person He is the Son of the living God, and in His work, He is the Christ, the One sent by God to accomplish God’s purpose.

Lord Jesus, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God! We believe into You and we have life in Your name! Praise the Lord, Jesus is the embodiment of God the Father who came to express the Father and accomplish His purpose. We exalt You, Lord, as the Son of the living God who came to be the embodiment of God to die, resurrect, ascend, and come again to fulfill God’s purpose. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, the One in whose name we have salvation, redemption, and forgiveness of sins!

Jesus the Son of God has Eyes like a Flame of Fire and Feet like Shining Bronze

Rev. 2:23 ...All the churches will know that I am He who searches the inward parts and the hearts. In dealing with the apostate church – the church in Thyatira – the Lord refers to Himself as the Son of God who has eyes like a flame of fire and feet like shining bronze.

In dealing with the worldly church – the church in Pergamos – the Lord referred to Himself as the One who has the sharp two-edged sword, and in dealing with the apostate church – the church in Thyatira – the Lord refers to Himself as having eyes like a flame of fire and feet like shining bronze (Rev. 2:18).

In order to deal with the worldly church, the Lord is the One with the smiting and killing word of God, and in order to deal with the apostate church, the Lord has searching eyes and judging treading feet.

The Lord today has seven burning eyes – seven lamps of fire, the seven Spirits of God – to search the inward parts and the heart, and what He enlightens and exposes with His light, He also judges.

The Lord’s eyes searches the inward parts and the heart, and His feet judge and give to everyone according to His works (Rev. 2:23). The eyes like flame of fire is for Christ to observe, penetrate, search, expose, and therefore judge by enlightening what He exposes.

Our God is a consuming fire, a judging fire; His throne is a fiery throne, and a fiery stream issues and comes forth before Him. The Lord’s eyes of flaming fire are for judging the apostate church. The Lord’s feet are like shining bronze – this signifies the divine judgment.

The worldly church requires the dealing of His smiting and killing word, whereas the apostate church needs the judging of His searching eyes and treading feet. The Lord’s eyes search the inward parts and the heart, and His feet judge and give to everyone according to his works (Rev. 2:23). W. Lee, Life-Study of RevelationThe Lord Jesus Christ was perfect and perfected in His human living, and His walk qualifies Him to judge. Through this, all the churches would know that He’s the One who searches the heart and the inward parts.

We need to spend time with the Lord and allow Him to shine on us, search us, and judge by enlightening anything that His light exposes. May we be those in the house of God who allow the Lord to shine on us, judge us, and purify us, so that we may be judged now and later reign with Him.

The Lord knows our inward parts, He is the One who searches the heart, and we as those who love Him and pursue Him should let Him make His home, enlighten, and clear up anything in us that is not matching Him.

May all the churches know that the Lord is the One who searches the inward parts and the heart! Outwardly we may seem ok, we may have many works and much endurance, but only the Lord knows what is inside of us; even we ourselves don’t know what is in us and what our inward parts desire, purpose, and think.

Lord Jesus, we open to Your eyes like a flame of fire to shine on us, observe us, search us, and expose us, so that anything that needs to be judged would be judged and removed. Keep us in a close contact with You, enjoying You in Your word and allowing You to shine in us and on us to remove anything that needs to be removed. Make us Your pure, genuine, and shining expression on earth today. May all the churches know that the Lord is the One who searches the inward parts and the hearts!

“The Lord’s promises to the overcomers in Thyatira are that they will reign with Christ over the nations and that He will give them the morning star. In the principle of the morning star, a Christian should rise up early because the early morning is the best time to meet the Lord–to fellowship with God, to praise and sing, to pray-read the Bible with the ministry, and to pray to the Lord. When you have time with the Lord in the morning, take your hymnal with you. We must be thoroughly prepared for the Lord’s secret coming; therefore, we must be ready and watchful. We need to hear the Lord’s speaking and forget the past!”

Amen. Christ is the title of the Lord according to His office, His mission. The Son of God is His title according to His person. His person is a matter of God’s life, and His mission is a matter of God’s work. He is the Son of God to be the Christ of God. The Son of God is the expression of God. Praise the Lord
