Lord, make me a stepping stone for Your return! Lord, I’m willing, use me in 2012!

January 1, 2012 by aGodMan 3 Comments

Lord, make me a stepping stone for Your return! Lord, I'm willing, use me in 2012!At the beginning of a new year, everyone makes resolutions, sets goals, reviews the previous year, and “wishes for the best”.

Even more, all the believers in Christ, those regenerated with the divine life of God, offer God a prayer with a fresh consecration – a repentance for the past, a renewed consecration, and a fresh utterance of the deep desire in us that the Lord would return…. How can we turn the, Happy New Year 2012, into a prayer according to the up-to-date vision and burden from the Lord today?

I was recently very much impressed with the Lord’s desire to return – not only the outward signs (the intensifying of the natural calamities, the unrest, the rebellion, the enstrangement from God, the corruption and open immorality, etc) but even the inward feeling in us, confirmed by the Word, that the Lord Jesus wants to return to bring in His kingdom. But when He returns, will He find faith on the earth (Luke 18:8)?

Will He find stepping stones on which He can step to return? Does He have people He can use and step on for Him to bring in the kingdom age?

Lord, make me a stepping stone!

I was so convicted and exposed this past week in the Winter School of the Truth to see that I am not that absolute for the Lord, and I still do not desire with all my heart for Him to return. But I was encouraged by this simple prayer, Lord, make me a stepping stone for Your return! Oh, Lord Jesus! I am willing, Lord, step on me! I want to give You a way to do whatever You want to do in me to make me an instrument in Your hand!

Lord, don’t pass me by!

Our life is meaningless if God does not visit us to use us at least once in our lifetime. God is looking everywhere for people who would be willing to give Him the full ground, the full cooperation, for Him to use them. Lord, don’t pass me by! I want to be useful in Your hands!

Make me a part of the group of overcomers that bring You back! Lord, I am willing! I am here, in Europe, in the land where the Antichrist will come – Lord, make me a stepping stone for Your return!

About the new year, 2012…

Lord, make me that someone who rises up and allows You to use me as a stepping stone for Your move! O, Lord, I am willing – use me! Do NOT pass me by! I don’t want to miss this opportunity! Lord, I want to count the cost and allow You to deal and break through anything that still resists You in me. Lord, what is holding me back? What idols are still there in my heart? Lord, break through in anything that holds You back in me – I want to pay the price to be filled within and clothed without with the Spirit!

Your response – Your prayer…

… This is part of my sincere prayer to the Lord at the beginning of 2012. Especially as the Lord speaks to us, enlightens us, and exposes us – it is very good to RESPOND to Him in love and open to Him to give Him more ground in us.
How about YOU? What Would Your Prayer be for this coming year before the Lord?
