2011 winter school of truth in London, UK – Lord, speak to us what’s on Your heart!

2011 Winter School of the truth in London, UK - Lord, release what's on Your heart!Every year there are two main events for the seeking and Jesus-loving young people in Europe – one in the summer (the Poland Camp) and one in the winter – the Winter School of the Truth (usually in London, UK). It is such a privilege to grow up as a young person in the church life in the Lord’s recovery! You can meet at least two times a year with your peers from Europe and even from other continents, and you can pursue the Lord together! Spending one week in the summer and another week in the winter under the speaking of the Lord, with the saints, and away from home yet in the camp / truth school is many times the highlight of the year for the young people! You can read some of the testimonies of the young people and the serving ones who were there at the 2011 Poland camp.

I have to testify that, growing up and attending these conferences – especially the Poland camp (as a young person and then as a helper and a serving one) and the Winter School of Truth (as a helper and a serving one) – I have seen a fresh vision of the Lord’s move and His heart’s desire! The Lord has a special burden for the young ones – for those who are open, ready to receive a new thought and a new vision, who are ready to be used by the Lord… It is through the young people that the Lord has turned the age again and again (see Joshua, Gideon, Samuel, David, Daniel, John the Baptist, etc). If the Lord gains a generation of young people who are absolute for Him, who consecrate their life and their future to Him, and who are serious with the Lord, He can be hastened in His return and in turning this age!

The 2011 Winter School of Truth

Next week the 2011 Winter School of Truth begins in Bower House, London, and a little over 200 saints and young people are gathering in two age groups to get into the truth and obtain an eternal deposit of truth and life! [you can read more details about it online] Saints, the best thing we can do is to PRAY for this time! Some of us can go, others can help, and all of us can and should pray! The Lord needs to release what is on His heart and gain a generation of young ones to bring Him back! For this, He needs us to lay the tracks through our prayers. He needs us to pray according to His heart. There’s something in His heart to speak to the young ones, and this can be released as we pray and intercede before the Lord about this….

This is why I would like to INVITE you to pray as a comment to this blog post! You can add maybe two or three sentences as a prayer to join yourself with the hundreds of parents, students, serving ones, older saints, children, young people, and all ages everywhere over Europe and around the world praying for this time. Put a comment below with your prayer, your AMEN, and your cooperation with the Lord in this…. I will go ahead and start….

Lord, speak to us what’s on Your heart!

O, Lord Jesus, the Winter School of Truth in London in 2011! O, Lord, the young people in Europe! Lord, speak to us what is on Your heart! Whatever is in Your heart for the young people, Lord, have a free way to release it! Sanctify this whole week! Clear the sky, Lord, and grant all the young people an open sky with nothing between them and You! Lord, shine in this time! Open the heavens to us that we may see You and hear what You are speaking today! O, Lord, gain the Samuels and Daniels of today! Produce the overcomers! Gain those who will pay the price to bring You back! Lord, raise up some to meet Your need – some Nazarites! Those who bring in the kingdom on earth today!

O, Lord, bind Your enemy and any of his frustrations! Bind any looseness and any manifestation of the flesh. Lord, we pray for the young people to be normal Christians who overcome to enjoy You, eat You, and live one spirit with You! Lord, speak something concerning Salvation – the full salvation of God! Lord, speak concerning The Two Spirits – the Spirit with our spirit! Bring out the truth, Lord, and deposit the high peak truths into the beings of the young ones! Load the young people with the good things and send them out with the cargo of the gospel! O, Lord, we look to You for Your blessing! [picture source: prayer]

being a Christian student on the campus – being grouped together with the students is vital!

being a Christian student on the campus - being grouped together with the students is vital! [picture: City University, London, UK]Do I believe in God? Yes, I still do. Do I believe God exists in every discipline or department of the University? No, I still don’t. As far as I can remember in Matt. 4:9-10, Jesus turned down the offer to be the CEO of the world corporation/world system, so He is certainly not the Chief Operation Officer over at the world economic systems and world political systems… Also, I’m sure that God isn’t involved in founding the business schools in the university.

It is with this mind that I have been through the business school – in fact, alone with the general philosophy of the “What is University for?” I struggled all the way throughout my education history; never have I found God in education. BUT, I do believe in God: I still believe God is my God, He is the one who created the universe, the heaven and the earth, and He put the spirit within man. YET, I cannot see any link between God and education whatsoever, even with the help from the serving saints and from the Scriptures.

Whenever I spend time in my mind, in my education, and in my university, to me is this like a means to find one’s own capacity, and the end is to utilise such capacity to benefit the society – since university is indeed a fundamental structure of the society as such. But whenever I spend time in my spirit, although there’s no link between university and my spirit, I am still able to sense the enjoyment and peace of being in my spirit.

There are many terms in church life such as “the world system”, “knowledge”, “philosophy”, “culture”, etc; but who really understands these terms as what they really ARE instead of what they ARE NOT? The education I had in university gave me an introduction to how “the world system” actually works, and I may not describe it as “intriguing” – it is certainly “appealing”. However, as the hymn says, I still remember that “Everything is sure to pass away, Everyone is going their own way“.

One day I’ll have to face the Lord’s coming back, and all my life will be judged by Him item by item… I don’t know what things will count before Him, but one thing I remember and it is that the saints really encouraged me; they are my true family (indeed, I grew up among the saints). As long as they are around, I feel I am not completely lost. Many times when I sense no feeling of going to the meetings, yet I would still go, just to be there, the Lord worked something out in His own way. It’s so funny that saints normally use the phrase “church kids” in the sense of, “grow up, kids!” Honestly, if I did not have the deposit of “growing up as a church kid”, or if I had never heard terms such as “the Lord’s return” or “God’s eternal economy“, I would have been lost by now.

Whether we admit this or not, the church life can be very “easily recognised” today, particularly when it comes to the work with the young people. The new generation in the university today has a strong distinguishable characteristic of “being grouped together“, and this matter is being strongly practiced and emphasized as years pass by. It’s a good thing – so make sure you are “grouped” with your spiritual friends, call each other to make sure no one is left out! And if you think you’re left out – well, go back in! Believe me, the grouping effect can be a “difficult thing” to achieve if you are not in it! I remember one advise I gave a business school fresher: “Don’t leave your Poland camp group, because the day your peers stop calling or texting you, that day you’ll stop your church life completely! Make sure they remember you!”

I still remember a dialogue with a well-performing student; I asked “do you still fight to be an overcomer”? And the reply was: “I don’t know, but in my heart I really pray to the Lord that He would keep my heart that it would truly love Him and be for Him”. How true…, “But I still have You and You have me too“, and we have the saints! If any of you think you know the purpose of education, let me know!

Crucial Aspects of God’s Economy in The Book of Exodus (1)

and you can read more on this blog from the sharing of young people from UK, USA, Slovakia, Poland, Russia, Holland, etc – and some of their serving ones also! What a rich time, and what a direct and strong speaking from the Lord concerning our living in the world for God’s purpose! Even though “the plan” was to go through the whole outline on this subject, the feeling from the Lord was eventually to go only through half of it, but to emphasize the main matters. We saw what life in the world is – fully under Satan’s usurpation, under his rule, in darkness, with flies and lice, even in death.

But God wants us as His people to come out of Egypt and hold a feast unto Him in the wilderness! He provides a way for us to both be strengthened and to be willing and convinced to come out of the world: He exposes the world before our eyes and gives us Christ as the Passover Lamb that we may eat Him and be saved from Satan’s usurpation! Praise the Lord, now our Christian life is a feasting life - feasting on Christ as the unleavened bread, the bitter herbs, and the roasted lamb of God!

Here are some of the testimonies from the saints and the young people who were there at the conference[read more testimonies via at the 2011 Poland Camp testimonies dedicated page]:

seeing the world, the life in the world, and the way to escape: HALLELUJAH!!! (2011 Poland Camp)

seeing the world, the life in the world, and the way to escape: HALLELUJAH!!! (2011 Poland Camp)In this year’s Young People’s Conference in Poland I appreciated the brothers pointing out the facts to us – as seen in Exodus. These facts are concerning Egypt (the world system that Satan created), concerning what life in Egypt is like, and how to escape the tyranny and slavery of Egypt.

I was impressed that the world system that Satan created is composed of Babylon, Sodom, and Egypt. In Babylon we are brought into rebellion and idolatry to worship all sorts of things other than God. The world is anything (good or bad) that distracts us from God. In Sodom we are brought into sinfulness. The world is full of the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes that defile our person. Lastly, in Egypt we are brought under the slavery and usurpation of Pharaoh (Satan). In the world our time and our whole being is in the slavery of our livelihood, and our time is usurped to such an extent that we have no time for the Lord or for the church. These are the facts of what the world is.

Equally as impressive were the plagues that were seen in Egypt. These 10 plagues signified life in Egypt, life in the world: It begins with death and ends with death. It begins with somewhat of a mild form of death, that one may brush off as if nothing. But as one remains in the world this death just grows worse and worse – it eventually damages our whole being, especially our soul. Remaining in the world damages us, damages our relationship with one another, and damages our relationship with God. This is just the fact that if we continue to live in the world we will touch death which will lead us to more death. May the Lord have mercy on us that we would flee from the world and all its forms of death.

Praise the Lord for His way of salvation! He has shown us a vision of the world and a vision of what life in the world is like. Also, He has provided us a way to escape the world – this too is not “a hope” or “a theory”, but it is a fact! Christ is the reality of the Passover lamb that was slain for the Israelites in Exodus – His blood was shed for our iniquities. After being slaughtered, the lamb was roasted and eaten by the Israelites. This is the Lord being thoroughly judged, crucified, and resurrected – to become our food and our strength to escape the world. Thus, when He was on the cross, He proclaimed “It is finished!” (John 19:30). All the righteous requirements of God were fulfilled on the cross! Now we are set free to escape Egypt and enjoy God. Hallelujah, this is a fact that we can experience and enjoy today!

We have to give a thousand “Hallelujah’s!” for these facts! We see the world for what it is. We see what life in the world is like. We also see we do not need to remain in the world, but we can escape the world by enjoying the Lord everyday. His blood is shed for our sins. He has been processed to be the Life-Giving Spirit for us to eat everyday, which gives us strength to escape the life in the world. [sharing from the 2011 Poland Camp by brother Jackson L(USA) from his top enjoyment as a serving one in the camp - become a fan of the European Young People's Conference in Poland on Facebook or read other testimonies of the saints who attended this conference - 2011 Poland Camp]

Thank You Lord for these facts. Keep us enjoying You all the days of our life.

in the Spirit of reality with our spirit the enemy has nothing – here we are sanctified! (2011 Poland camp)

in the Spirit of reality with our spirit the enemy has nothing - here we are sanctified! (2011 Poland camp)In this Poland camp I enjoyed the mater of God’s leading by the Spirit and the Word. Where we are and where we go depends on the presence of the Lord. When the Lord moves, we move, and where the Lord stops, we stop. “The cloud and the fire” leads us and also becomes our protection. We are well protected whenever we follow the Lord. Going His way is the safest way for us.

I was also touched by the way Lord leads us. In our natural mind we think that “the direct way” is the best way, but our Lord knows all the things we have to experience to be able to enter into the full enjoyment of the good land. His dealings deepen our experiences and enjoyment of Him, so we can enjoy more of His unsearchable riches.

Another matter I enjoyed was in the last message where brother shared that the matter of leaving the Egypt is real in our spirit. We have the Spirit of reality in our spirit, so whenever we turn to the spirit, there is no world there. It is not by our doing or striving, but by our choosing to turn to the Lord in our spirit that we have the real experience of leaving the world. Here, in our spirit, we are being sanctified by the “worldless” Spirit.

This is a strong encouragement to turn to the Lord whenever we notice the symptoms of the world’s contamination. We all can have not only the appearance of leaving the world outwardly, but the reality of leaving the world inwardly which becomes expressed naturally when our being is soaked with this Spirit in whom there is nothing of the world. May we turn to the Lord to become those in whom the enemy has nothing! we need to eat Christ as the Lamb of God with all the saints in the house of God!(2011 Poland camp)

we need to eat Christ as the Lamb of God with all the saints in the house of God!(2011 Poland camp)This Poland camp I was very touched that the Lord is ready to come – He is eager to come, but He needs a dispensational instrument to turn this age! The enemy is working against God’s will and his strategy is to interrupt our cooperation with the Lord according to His desire. Today’s world is Satan’s system to occupy and blind the people, showing them “alternative ways of enjoyments” and then enslave them so they can not see what is on Lord’s mind!

By the Lord’s mercy, through many plagues, He is revealing to us the real condition of this fallen world. The Lord has His timing for us to make us useful in His hands. We may think that we are ready, but our nature and our own strength must go away! We need a clear vision of the situation of the world we live but mostly we need to see who is our God, the great I am!

Then we will realize that we aren’t able but He is! We are just a thornbush: useless, but there is the fire of God upon and within us! He is the One who is calling us inwardly and outwardly, and He is becoming our ability, our strength, and our abundant supply. The Lord Jesus came as the Lamb of God and He was burned by the fire of God’s judgement. We need to eat such a Christ, the whole roasted Lamb, together with the saints in the house! We need to eat our way out of this world.

Everything has been accomplished – everything was done by His death on the cross. Today we are enjoying the reality in our mingled spirit. Hallelujah, we can apply His dear blood as our covering and the angel of death cannot reach us! There is also the water to be drank – the unbreakable, indestructible life has been poured out into us!

There is no other way for us to be rescued from world, be transformed & constituted by Christ, enter and enjoy the riches of the good land, except eating Christ! Other may say, there is no God but we will not listen to such words but rather we will look at their knees because, Every knee shall bow down and every tongue will confess: Jesus Christ is Lord!

Let us be those who are following the Lamb wherever He goes. Let us preserve ourselves as pure vessels for the Lord. This is it – We were not created for anything else. So Praise the Lord for His life in us! Eating Jesus is the way – He is our never-ending feast! when God’s people move, God moves; if God’s people do not move, God has no way to move(2011 Poland camp)

when God's people move, God moves; if God's people do not move, God has no way to move(2011 Poland camp)To start things off, the Poland young people conference is not the only young person conference I have ever been to. I was raised up as a “church-kid”, born and raised under parents who met when they joined the church life. So, I already had a taste of the youthful ecstasy that the Poland conference would give, and the material that such a Poland conference would cover. In fact, the topic of the special fellowship, “The World Situation and God’s Move” was extremely similar to what Brother James shared with the young people during the Vancouver Summer School of Truth a couple years ago.

The main point of both messages ran along the lines of looking away from the world and waiting for the Lord’s coming, which – as the brothers make sure to emphasize – is growing more and is more imminent each year, even each day. But, as I was listening to brother Tom Goetz share with us the history of the Lord’s Recovery of the Holy Bible in the 20th century, I was a little bit astounded with the magnitude and universality of it all. The fact is, the Lord’s Recovery is very real and it has not been easy.

The shoulders upon which you and I stand upon right now have endured many sufferings and turmoil in many regions on which it is active. The Lord’s move on this earth hasn’t been an easy one. Yet people who endure the turmoil and the devastations still persist in the work and in the ministry. One point said that

When God’s people move, God moves; if God’s people do not move, God has no way to move.

Until the week in Poland, I took a lot of comfort in that, if I don’t participate in the Lord’s move, it’s ok – the Lord is still there and I’ll be okay when the Lord comes back. But seeing the European young people in action, in joyous shouting, in their vast and profound enjoyment of the same Christ I took for granted for my entire life – that has given me more of a vision of what the Lord is doing. Just because I live in Seattle and live relatively close to the meeting hall doesn’t mean I’m guaranteed a spot in the frontline of the Lord’s move. No, it’s actually the opposite!

Europe is the forefront of the Lord’s move. Europe, in the consummation of the fulfillment of the vision concerning the great human image in Daniel 2, is more vitally crucial than any other country and race. You can see it in Revelation 17, where the ten kings – typified by the ten toes of the great image in Daniel 2 – will be under Antichrist, who will be the last Caesar of the revived Roman Empire. But we – by overcoming our flesh – can participate in overcoming this Antichrist and bringing the Lord back! This is the Lord’s Recovery – that we may be saturated with Christ and may be the overcomers who welcome the Lord in His second coming.

That is a little bit of the big picture that the brothers keep talking about, the high peak of the divine revelation. I saw this picture when I was in Poland and while I was enjoying the Lord with the saints in the Netherlands. There is something different when you’re surrounded by saints who live in Europe and are longing so much for Christ everyday. In Seattle, one long airplane ride away, I never quite had such a bird’s eye-view of what the Lord was doing on the Earth, not just in America. Only when I was in Poland, in midst of the young people all over Europe, “tasting and seeing” the universal Christ, did I realize that the Lord’s Move is actually happening. The Lord will move on even without me if He has to. He has a purpose and – by the looks of it – He also has the means to carry it out. Praise the Lord for the His move in Europe!
