These days we’re going through The Central Line of The Bible, and as we previously saw, these main items revealed in the Bible are, the Word of God, the Triune God, the All-Inclusive Christ, the Life-Giving Spirit, the Body of Christ, and the New Jerusalem. These are not just “terms we find the Bible” or something that maybe someone coined / invented – they are rich and meaningful items on the central line of the Bible! This week we are enjoying the all-inclusive, life-giving, compound, sevenfold intensified Spirit of Jesus Christ. It is not just “the Holy Spirit” or “the Spirit of Christ” – it is such a rich term with many things included in it! This is “THE SPIRIT” that the Lord Jesus talked about in John 7:39,
But this He said concerning the Spirit, whom those who believed into Him were about to receive; for the Spirit was not yet, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.
From the beginning, as we see in Genesis chapter 1, the Spirit of God was there – how can we say(or how can the Lord Jesus say) that the Spirit was not yet? This “The Spirit” the Lord Jesus was talking about is the all-inclusive compound life-giving Spirit that was the consummation of the process the Triune God went through – and “the Spirit” came into being after the Lord’s resurrection! After His resurrection, the Spirit of God became the Spirit of the incarnated, crucified, and resurrected Jesus Christ, who was breathed into the disciples by Christ in the evening of the day He was resurrected(John 20:22). Now Christ is among us and in us as “another Comforter” – the Spirit of reality guiding us in all things (John 14:16-17). Hallelujah, “the Spirit” who was not yet before the Lord’s resurrection – now IS and can be enjoyed and experienced by us! Before His incarnation, God had only divinity – so the Spirit of God was only divine; after His incarnation and after the processes He went through, THE SPIRIT now contains divinity, humanity, the human living of Christ, the all-inclusive death, the life-giving resurrection, and the transcending ascension! Now He is the all-inclusive Spirit!
It is all in THE SPIRIT! The Spirit is an all-inclusive term for the all-inclusive, life-giving, compound, sevenfold intensified Spirit! In THE SPIRIT we have, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus, the Spirit of Jesus Christ, the Spirit of Christ, the life-giving Spirit, and the seven Spirits. When we believe into Christ we receive THE SPIRIT and when we enjoy this Spirit it becomes rivers of living water flowing out of our innermost being(John 7:38-39)! We have such a simple and practical way to enjoy THE SPIRIT – and have many rivers of water of life flowing in and out of our innermost being! This Spirit is also THE SPIRIT who speaks one with the Bride at the end of the Bible saying, Come Lord Jesus(Rev. 22:17)! The totality of the Triune God has become one with the consummated and matured transformed humanity to speak the same thing! Today we can enjoy THE SPIRIT who is mingled with our spirit – by simply calling on the Lord’s name! [portion inspired from, the life-study of Exodus]
Hallelujah, what a Spirit! Thank You Lord for being THE SPIRIT today – as the processed and consummated Triune God! Now the Lord is THE SPIRIT – the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit! Be our enjoyment and experience today! Thank You for being processed and consummated to be our enjoyment and experience! Fill us with the Spirit! Saturate us with the Spirit! Permeate us with the Spirit until we are fully mingled with The Spirit!
