Turning our Heart to the Lord and Coming to the Word with the Lord to Receive Light

Lord Jesus I turn my heart to You right now!My experience of morning revival has been helped the most with this simple prayer, “Lord Jesus I turn my heart to You right now.”

I have a real need to start my time with the Lord each morning with this prayer. This prayer simplifies my coming to Him and opens me to receive what He wants to give me. When I have continued my routine of morning revival without this simply practice of turning my heart to Him, I find I often fail to really touch the Lord.

I once heard some fellowship regarding morning revival which pointed out that a successful morning time is one in which a person has a direct touch with the Lord. This touch is our being revived and must be the goal of our morning time with the Lord.

2 Corinthians 3:16 says,

But whenever their heart turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

Every morning we have to turn our heart back to Him to experience a living touch with Him.

As I turn my heart I often ask anew for the precious blood of Jesus to be applied once again to my conscience. What a sweet sensation we can experience each morning with a turned and sprinkled heart!

As we are contacting the Lord every morning in a living way we need to bring Him with us into the Word.

When we come to the Word with the Lord, He is about to shine on His Word to enlighten us. This enlightenment needs to be written down.

At the end of the week we need to spend sometime to review and pray over our enlightenment and write something that brings these points together. In my practice of prophesying this is indispensable.

After we have written something we need to faithfully open our month with the exercising our spirit to flow out what the Lord has given us!
