God wants to Work Christ into us: He is the Seed of the Woman who Destroys Satan

Who gave Himself for our sins that He might rescue us out of the present evil age according to the will of our God and Father. Gal. 1:4

God’s plan according to His good pleasure is to work Himself in Christ into us, but the most evil thing is to distract people from Christ; we need to see Christ as the seed of the woman – the incarnated Christ who came to destroy Satan and save us from sin and death. Oh, what a wonderful Christ we have!

This week in our morning revival we come to the topic, The Way to Receive, Experience, and Enjoy the All-inclusive Christ as the All-inclusive Life-giving Spirit— the Aggregate of the All-embracing Blessing of the Full Gospel of God.

We are still in the book of Galatians, which is a very rich book showing us the wonderful, all-inclusive Christ. In Gal. 3:14 in particular, we see that the blessing of Abraham comes to us, the Gentiles who became believers in Christ, so that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

In Gen. 12 Jehovah, the God of glory, appeared to Abraham, and He blessed Abraham. He blessed Abraham and promised that in Abraham all nations of the earth will be blessed.

God blessed Abraham with two things: the seed in which all families of the earth will be blessed, and the land, the promised good land.

What does Abraham have to do with us, the believers in Christ who are not part of the Jewish people? Both the seed of Abraham and the good land are a type of Christ as the all-inclusive One who comes to us to be our blessing today.

The reality of all the blessings given to Abraham is Christ who today is the all-inclusive, life-giving Spirit in our spirit, the reality of the blessing.

With Abraham, God blessed him with the seed and with the land, saying that in him all the families of the earth will be blessed.

The seed refers to Christ, who is the seed of Abraham. The land, the reality of the good land promised to Abraham and to his seed, is also Christ; the all-inclusive Christ is the reality of the good land, and He today is the life-giving Spirit.

In practicality, the good land is the all-inclusive Christ; in actuality in our participation, the all-inclusive Christ is the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit in our spirit.

This is why Paul in Gal. 3 speaks of the blessing God gave to Abraham, explaining that this is the promise of the Spirit.

The Spirit, the all-inclusive, life-giving Spirit, is the fulfilment of the blessing God gave to Abraham. This Christ who is the Spirit today is very subjective and experiential for us. He has been revealed in us, He lives in us, and He is being formed in us.

God’s Plan is to Work Christ into us; the Most Evil Thing is to Distract People from Christ

Predestinating us unto sonship through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. Eph. 1:5 I am crucified with Christ; and [it is] no longer I [who] live, but [it is] Christ [who] lives in me; and the [life] which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the [faith] of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Gal. 2:20 My children, with whom I travail again in birth until Christ is formed in you. Gal. 4:19The book of Galatians reveals that God’s plan according to His good pleasure is to work Christ Himself into us; at the same time, this book reveals that the most evil thing is to distract people from Christ (Eph. 1:5; Gal. 1:4-17; 2:20; 4:19).

In particular, the book of Galatians shows us that religion is the present evil age, and it distracts us from the enjoyment of Christ. Oh Lord Jesus!

God’s good pleasure is to work Christ into us; in the heart of the divine revelation – Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians – we see Christ, and this One being wrought into us in many ways. In Galatians in particular, we see Christ being versus religion – the law and its tradition.

The Christ who is the centrality of God’s economy is versus all the other things, including religion, tradition, the law, and everything else.

God wants to work Christ into us so that Christ may be everything to us. However, the most evil thing – according to Galatians – is to distract people from Christ.

In Galatians, we see the Judaizers, those who were law-keepers, who were saved people distracted by the law-keeping. So they were distracted from Christ by the matter of the law.

The apostle Paul wrote his epistle to the Galatians to bring back the distracted believers, to bring them back to Christ.

Satan, the subtle one, uses anything and everything to just distract us from Christ. He uses both the bad things such as worldly things, sinful things, etc and the good things such as spiritual things, moral things, ethical things, and religion, to replace Christ in us. Oh Lord!

We need to see that God’s central work is to work Christ into our being in a subjective and inward way, yet this is in contrast with religion; religion is used by Satan to distract us from Christ.

Therefore, in Gal. 1:4 Paul says that Christ gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us out of the present evil age according to the will of our God and Father.

Wow, the religion at that time, the God-given law with its ordinances and regulations, has become a religion which in God’s eyes was the present evil age.

Today it is the same: the God-given Bible with many traditions of Christianity and rules and regulations can become a religion to us, veiling us and hindering us from seeing the living person of Christ.

Not only the bad things in the world but even the good things, even good teachings, sound doctrines, can distract us from enjoying and experiencing Christ in a subjective way.

You have been brought to nought, separated from Christ, you who are being justified by law; you have fallen from grace...But I say, Walk by the Spirit and you shall by no means fulfill the lust of the flesh. Gal. 5:4, 16Christ is the focus of God’s economy, but Satan uses everything to distract us from Christ. May we be delivered from any and all distracting things which can be a veil, hindering us from seeing Christ, enjoying Christ, and experiencing Christ.

May we open to the Lord and turn our heart to Him, even asking Him to remove any veil and rescue us from the present evil age.

Each one of us is affected by the present evil age, the present aspect of religion, which veils us from seeing Christ, enjoying Christ, and having Christ wrought into us.

May we see that God’s intention is to work Christ into us, but Satan’s subtlety is to use religion to keep us away from Christ!

Religion seems good, cultured, and approved by men, yet it separates us and all the believers in Christ from Christ. Oh Lord!

Though religious people can be considered good and approved, even having commendable behaviour in man’s eyes, yet being religious is to be separated from Christ, even to be fallen from grace (see Gal. 5). Oh Lord!

From God’s point of view, anything and everything that separates us from Christ is evil – including the most moral, ethical, and religious things. May we repent and return to the Lord, coming back to the enjoyment and experience of Christ.

Lord Jesus, save us from the present evil age. Unveil us to see You. We open to You today. Shine on us. Expose the present evil age in us and deliver us from its usurpation. We just want to enjoy You and experience You. May we see that God desires to work Christ into us. May we see that Satan is so subtle to use religion and many good moral, ethical, and spiritual things to separate us from Christ. Oh Lord, we want to pay attention only to You! We want to lose sight of all but You! Hallelujah, Christ is our center! Christ is our everything. We love You, Lord, and we come to You! We don’t just want to know about You or do things for You; we want You! We want to enjoy You throughout the day. Work Yourself into us today. Deliver us from anything that separates us from You! Rescue us out of the present evil age according to the will of our God and Father! Oh Lord, may we have Your point of view so that we may realize how many good, ethical, moral, and spiritual things are used by the enemy to separate us from Christ!

The Incarnated Christ is the Seed of the Woman Dispensing Himself into us and Destroying Satan

And I will put enmity / Between you and the woman / And between your seed and her seed; / He will bruise you on the head, / But you will bruise him on the heel. Gen. 3:15

The Lord Jesus is a threefold seed – He is the seed of the woman, the seed of Abraham, and the seed of David.

In Gen. 3:15, after man fell, God came in to both judge Satan and make a promise; He promised that the seed of the woman would bruise the head of the serpent.

We know the story in Genesis 3, where Eve fell to Satan’s seduction and ate of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Then God came in and made this promise and a blessing; though Adam and Eve were ashamed, for they disobeyed God and fell to Satan’s scheme, God came in and made a promise.

And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. Matt. 1:16 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under law. Gal. 4:4The promise was that He would put enmity between the seed of the woman (which is Christ) and the serpent; He will bruise the serpent on the head, and the serpent will bruise Him on the heel. This was a great promise.

Adam and Eve thought they would die, for they ate the wrong fruit and disobeyed God; however, upon hearing this word, they realised that they will have a seed.

This seed, as promised by God, will bruise the head of the serpent, and the serpent will bruise his heel.

This is the first gospel preaching, which was done by God Himself; He told man that man sinned and is doomed, but the gospel is that there is a seed coming to bruise the serpent on the head. Praise the Lord!

This promise was fulfilled four thousand years later when Christ came. Seven hundred years before Christ came, Isaiah prophesied saying, Behold the virgin will conceive and bear a Son, and she will call His name, Emmanuel (Isa. 7:14).

The Bible is truly amazing; God preaches the gospel to the first man, then many years later Isaiah prophesies, and still many years later, Christ comes to fulfill both the promise and the prophecy. Christ was born not of man, not with the seed of man, but of a woman.

Christ was conceived in Mary’s womb to be the seed of the woman, not the seed of a man. When Christ came, God became a man; this was God becoming incarnate.

We can say that the matter of God’s incarnation is even greater than God’s creation. God created the heavens and the earth and all the wonderful things therein, but God was still God, the created things are still created things, and man is still apart from God.

But two thousand years ago, God came into humanity. He didn’t just come to visit man, as He visited Adam, Abraham, Moses, and many others, but He came to stay in man, even to dwell in man, mingle Himself with man, and be fully one with man.

The promise of the seed of the woman refers to the incarnated Christ (Matt. 1:16; Gal. 4:4). Mary, the mother of Jesus, was a descendant of King David, and she conceived Christ of the Holy Spirit. This is the greatest miracle in the universe – God becoming man, divinity being brought into humanity.

Here we see the blending and mingling of God with man.

Christ as the seed of the woman implies that the complete God became a perfect man through the dispensing of Himself into humanity (John 1:1, 14; Matt. 1:23). God’s desire in His economy is to dispense Himself into man to make Himself one with man.

In eternity past, God remained in Himself, but at one point, He had a counsel not to remain in Himself any longer but to bring His divinity into humanity and mingle Himself with man. He prophesied concerning this in Gen. 3:15, and He fulfilled this promise in Matt. 1, where we see that Mary conceived the Lord Jesus.

Since therefore the children have shared in blood and flesh, He also Himself in like manner partook of the same, that through death He might destroy him who has the might of death, that is, the devil. Heb. 2:14Hallelujah, God entered into the womb of a virgin, remained there for nine months, and was born of her to be a God-man! He is God with us, and He dispensed Himself into man.

Then, after living for thirty-three and a half years on earth, He was crucified; through His crucifixion He judged and destroyed Satan, and He removed sin and judged the world.

Then He took a tour of Hades and took the keys of death and Hades with Him. He took care and dealt with all the negative things. Christ destroyed Satan and finished the old man.

He took care of all the negative problems so that God’s positive intention can be fulfilled. He wants to have a man on the earth to express Him and represent Him.

This is Christ as the seed of the woman. Today on earth, the dispensing of God Himself into humanity includes not only Christ but also us, all the believers in Christ.

He is the God-man, and we are also God-men! The purpose of Christ’s coming as the seed of the woman was to destroy Satan and save us from sin and death.

He came to destroy Satan, the serpent, which He did on the cross (Heb. 2:14), and He is now saving us from sin and death.

Even more, He is fixing in us His humble home, He is bruising in us the serpent’s head, and He is effacing Adam’s likeness, even stamping His image in its place! Praise the Lord!

Lord Jesus, thank You for coming as the seed of the woman to fulfill the promise You made to Adam and Eve! Hallelujah, God Himself became a man to be the seed of a woman, born of a woman, born in the flesh! Praise the Lord, the complete God became a perfect man through the dispensing of Himself into humanity in order to destroy Satan and to save us, the believers in Christ, from sin and death! We praise You, Lord Jesus, for coming as the seed of the woman to destroy Satan in us and to save us from sin and death. We open to You. We want to focus only on You. We want to enjoy You and let You bruise the serpent’s head in our being. Dispense Yourself more into us today. Mingle Yourself with us. We love You and we open to You! Fix in us Your humble home. Rise up in us as the woman’s conquering seed and bruise in us the serpent’s head. Efface Adam’s likeness in us and stamp Your image in its place! Amen, Lord, we love You and we want to enjoy You as the seed of the woman today!

The most evil thing, according to Galatians, is to distract people from Christ. God’s will is to reveal Christ into us, to have Christ live in us, and to have Christ formed in us. This is God’s purpose…God’s intention is to work Christ into us, but Satan’s subtlety is to use religion to keep us away from Christ. It appears good and cultured, yet religion separates more people from Christ than anything else does. To be religious is considered as approved and commendable behavior. Yet Paul says in Galatians 5 that to be religious is to be separated from Christ, to be fallen from grace. If we have God’s point of view, we will see that anything that separates people from Christ is evil. Even the most moral, ethical, and religious things are evil in the eyes of God, because they separate us from the indwelling Christ.

God’s plan according to His good pleasure is to work Christ Himself into us; however, the most evil thing according to Galatians is to distract people from Christ.

Religion distracts us from Christ. May we be saved from any religion and may we be brought into the enjoyment and experience of Christ as the seed of the woman!

He is the complete God becoming a perfect man through the dispensing of Himself into humanity, and He destroyed Satan to save us, the believers in Christ, from sin and death!

Lord, we just want to enjoy You today! Bruise in us the serpent’s head! Stamp Thine image on us!

The most distracting, the most evil thing that separates us from Christ is religion.

Even our approved and commendable behaviour can separate us from the indwelling Christ!

God’s good pleasure however, is to dispense Christ as the promised seed, the complete God and perfect man into our being!!

Lord we open to You to receive Your dispensing! Save us more from every kind of distraction!! Oh Lord Jesus! Aameen!

Amen. The promise of the seed of the woman was given immediately after Adam’s fall.

The seed of the woman is the incarnated Christ, to dispense His divinity into our humanity. Thus destroying Satan and saving us from Sin and death.

O Lord keep us in Your divine dispensing. Lord may we apply Your death and resurrection to defeat the enemy today.

As the seed of a woman, born of a virgin, the incarnated Christ put on humanity to destroy the devil and save us from sin and death.

God’s intention is to work Christ into us but we also need to see that Satan uses religion – even our efforts to be good, moral and ethical people – to distract us from Christ.

Anything that separates us from Christ is evil.

Lord, rescue us from this present evil age to be brought back to You! Amen. Lord, bruise in us the serpent’s head that You may be worked more into us according to God’s intent and pleasure!

Shocking as it may seem to our natural concept, the most evil thing is to distract people from Christ.

Anything that separates us from Christ— regardless of how moral, ethical & religious— is evil in the eyes of our God.

After Adam’s fall, God’s promises regarding a Redeemer & Saviour are all regarding a threefold seed:- the seed of the woman, the seed of Abraham, and the seed of David.

Our Christ is the fulfilment of these three seeds. The “seed of the woman” refers to the incarnated Christ.

Through incarnation God dispensed Himself into humanity. In His death & resurrection, Christ destroyed Satan and saved us from sin & death.

Hallelujah for the threefold seed!

The seed of the woman is the incarnated Jesus Christ, who as the very God was born of the virgin Mary to be a man, as prophesied in Isa. 7:14, fulfilled in Matt. 1:23, and confirmed in Gal. 4:4. Thus, the promise here indicates that God Himself would come to be a human seed to bruise the head of the damaging serpent. Ultimately, the seed of the woman is enlarged to include the overcoming believers, the stronger part of God’s people, signified by the man-child in Rev. 12:5 (see note Rev. 12:52). The man-child, the corporate seed of the woman, includes the Lord Jesus, the individual seed of the woman. Psa. 2:8-9, Rev. 2:26-27, and Rev. 12:5 indicate that the Lord Jesus as God’s Anointed, the overcomers in the churches, and the man-child will rule the nations with an iron rod, thus proving that the Lord Jesus, the overcomers, and the man-child are one. The Lord as the leading Overcomer (Rev. 3:21) is the Head, center, reality, life, and nature of the man-child, and the man-child as the following overcomers is the Lord’s Body.

Wow! The most evil thing is to distract people from Christ and this is what religion is all about. Religion is versus the living Christ and God’s economy with Christ as the centrality and universality. Religion appears to be good, cultured, commendable, and approved but in reality, evil.

Thank the Lord that He died on the cross to crush the devil saving us from death and sin; and to redeem us out of the curse of the law and rescue us out of the evil religious course of the world. Praise the Lord!!!

This Christ who is the threefold seed in humanity for God’s dispensing of Himself into the believers of Christ for the fulfillment of His economy.
