As the Body of Christ, we put on and apply the whole armour of God by means of all prayer and petition to fight the spiritual battle in the Lord and in the Body; we are on a battlefield today, and we need to put on the whole armour of God to be able to stand against the stratagems of the devil.
Amen, Lord, we stand in the Body and we put on the whole armour of God! Release the prayers of the saints so that Christ as the all-inclusive armour of God, would be applied to us! Amen!
As believers in Christ who love the Lord and seek Him in love today, we aspire to be the bride of Christ, and this bride is also a corporate warrior.
On the one hand, we love the Lord and grow in life unto maturity so that we may be His loving bride, and on the other hand, we are being prepared as the army fighting the battle in the Lord in the Body.
We as overcoming lovers of Christ are becoming one with God to be His dwelling place, even to be as beautiful as Tirza and as lovely as Jerusalem, and to the enemy we’re as terrible as an army with banners. Praise the Lord!
The church as the bride of Christ is actually the corporate man in God’s intention who will fulfil the twofold purpose of expressing God and dealing with God’s enemy.
In the next age, the Lord will gain the overcomers who are both the bride of Christ and the co-kings with Christ; they are the weak ones today, those who depend on the Lord and take Him as their everything.
How can we arrive at the highest peak of the divine revelation and become the same as Christ in life, nature, expression and function?
It is only by trusting in the Lord, not in ourselves, and depending on Him as love, power, and mercy. Amen!
As we trust in the Lord and depend on Him, we realise the necessity of spiritual warfare, for the enemy’s will is set against God’s will and is always in conflict with His will.
For us as the bride of Christ to deal with God’s enemy, we need to be empowered with the greatness of the power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the heavenlies, far above all the evil spirits in the air.
We who love the Lord and are in the church fight against the enemy of God; we don’t fight against flesh and blood but against the evil forces in the air, the spiritual evil powers of Satan.
As we fight the spiritual battle, we don’t fight individually; we fight corporately, as the church, for we stand in the Body and fight as the Lord’s bridal army.
We as the Body put on the whole armour of God and fight the battle in the Lord and in the Body. Amen!
Put on and Apply the Whole Armour of God by means of All Prayer and Petition Today

If we read Ephesians 6:10-20, we see the details of the whole armour of God, which we as the Body of Christ can put on today.
First, we need to be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength (v. 10), and then we need to put on the whole armour of God so that we may be able to stand against the stratagems of the devil.
Our wrestling is not against blood and flesh but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces in the heavenlies (v. 12).
Therefore, we need to take up the whole armour of God so that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
May we stand therefore, having girded our loins with truth and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod our feet with the firm foundation of the gospel of peace.
Besides all these, we need to take up the shield of faith, with which we are able to quench all the flaming darts of the evil one.
And we need to receive the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which Spirit is the word of God, by means of all prayer and petition, praying at every time in spirit and watching unto this in all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints.
The whole armour of God in this portion of the Word is composed of six main items: the girdle of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the firm foundation of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit.
We as the Body need to put on and apply the whole armour of God to be equipped with the armour to withstand the enemy and his attacks, even to take the offensive against him.
How do we do this? The secret, the key, and the crucial means for us to apply all the elements of God’s armour is prayer.
We can even consider prayer as the seventh element of God’s armour and the unique, crucial, and vital means by which we apply and put on the whole armour of God.
We as the Body and in the Body put on and apply the whole armour of God by means of all prayer and petition.
It is not merely by mentally understanding what God’s armour is, nor is it by agreeing with it and trying to declare it.
The unique way by which we apply the whole armour of God is prayer, for it is by prayer that every item of God’s armour is available to us in a practical way (v. 18).
When we pray, we exercise our spirit to take the word of God and apply it to our being and to our experience.
When we pray, when we have all prayer and petition concerning all the saints related to God’s armour, we gird our loins with truth, we put on the breastplate of righteousness, and we have our feet shod with the foundation of the gospel of peace. Amen!
When we have all prayer and petition over the word of God and concerning all the saints, we take up the shield of faith and receive the helmet of salvation. Amen!
It is by prayer, even all prayer and petition, that we receive the sword of the Spirit, which Spirit is the word of God. This is why, above all and before all things, we need to pray.
As we read the Bible, we need to pray. Before we go to preach the gospel, we need to pray.
As we speak to others about the Lord, we need to pray. Prayer is the key.
Prayer is the vital and crucial means for us to apply all the elements of God’s armour.
As we fight the spiritual battle in the Lord today, seeking to increase His kingdom and hasten His return, we stand in the Body of Christ and we pray as the Body, even utter all prayer and petition over God’s word and concerning all the saints, so that the armour of God may be applied to us in the Body.
We cannot and should not attempt to use any part of God’s armour without prayer; the unique way we apply the armour of God is prayer.
Lord Jesus, unveil us to see that prayer is the unique, crucial, and vital means by which we apply the whole armour of God! Amen, Lord, stand in the Body, one with the Head, and we apply the whole armour of God by means of all prayer and petition! We exercise our spirit to pray and petition concerning all the saints so that every item of God’s armour may be applied to us as the Body and in the Body. We receive Your word, dear Lord, by means of all prayer and petition. May the armour of God be applied to us in spirit by prayer. Amen, Lord, may we above all pray! May we have much and thorough prayer to gird our loins with truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, and have our feet shod with the firm foundation of the gospel of peace. Oh Lord, we exercise our spirit to pray and petition concerning all the saints according to Your word so that we may take up the shield of faith and receive the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit! Praise the Lord, prayer is the unique way for us to apply the whole armour of God!
By Putting on the Whole Armour of God, we are Able to Stand Against the Stratagems of the Devil

Some Christians may think that, now that we can put on the whole armour of God, we will be victorious and overcoming, and we go and fight the enemy to cause him to suffer much loss. They seem to be quite emboldened by all the items of God’s armour, and they are ready to fight the enemy.
However, what the Bible tells us is that, by putting on the whole armour of God, we are able to stand against the stratagems of the devil (Eph. 6:11, 13-14).
We put on the whole armour of God not to mainly attack the enemy but to stand; we fight the battle not merely to inflict a loss on Satan’s kingdom but for us to stand.
The victory has been won; we stand in the Lord’s victory, we stand in the Body of Christ, and we simply stand on our ground in the Body by the virtue of the Head, Christ.
In Ephesians chapters 2-6, we see the matters of sitting, walking, and standing. In Ephesians 2, we sit with Christ in the heavenlies (Eph. 2:6). In Ephesians 4 and 5 we walk in His Body on the earth (Eph. 4:1, 17; 5:2, 8, 15). In Ephesians 6, we stand in His power in the heavenlies.
First, we sit with Christ in the heavenlies and participate in all that He has accomplished; we stand one with Him in the heavenlies, being seated with Him!
Then, we walk in the Body of Christ to fulfil God’s eternal purpose, and our walk is for the accomplishment of His economy.
Finally, we stand in His power to fight against the enemy of God; we’re empowered in the Lord, and we put on the whole armour of God to fight against God’s enemy.
In fighting against the enemy of God, the most important thing is to stand; having done all, we need to stand to the end.
The spiritual fight we engage in is a fight in which we stand and we withstand.
The victory has been won; we stand in the Lord’s victory, we are empowered by Him, and we simply need to keep our position in the place of victory and triumph. This will spoil the enemy and defeat his kingdom.
Yes, we need to be bold in the Lord, and yes, we need to seek to push back against the enemy and his attacks; however, our putting on the whole armour of God is so that we may stand against him and withstand the enemy.
When we put on the whole armour of God by means of all prayer and petition, we are able to stand against the stratagems of the devil.
The devil has evil plans, stratagems, which are subtle and deceiving; the only way we can withstand him and stand in the Lord’s victory is by putting on the whole armour of God.
Right now, Satan is busily working and plotting to carry out his evil, subtle stratagems.
As we live our Christian life, as we live the church life, the enemy is working behind the scenes in a subtle way to bring in division, dissension, uneasiness, unpleasantness, and death.
May we stand against the enemy and his stratagems by putting on the whole armour of God by means of all prayer and petition.
May we realise that we’re members of the Body, and as members, we stand in the Body and put on the whole armour of God! Amen!
When we take up the whole armour of God, we will be able to withstand in the evil day.
We live in an evil age (Gal. 1:4), and every day is an evil day, for Satan is at work every day.
But we as the people of God, even as those aspiring to be the Lord’s overcomers, stand in the Lord, are empowered in the Lord, stand in the Body, and put on the whole armour of God to stand in spiritual warfare.
As Paul concludes in Ephesians 6:13, Having done all, to stand; we need to fight the battle so that, having done all, we still stand. It is the Lord’s mercy that we stand; we simply cooperate with Him.
We all need to see that in the Lord’s recovery today, we are on a battlefield. We must cooperate with the Lord to fight against Satan’s aerial forces so that we may gain more of Christ for the building up of the Body of Christ and the preparation of the bride of Christ.
May we be such ones today. May we cooperate with the Lord by putting on the whole armour of God as the Body of Christ, so that we may stand against the stratagems of the devil and set up and spread the kingdom of God so that Christ can come back to inherit the earth. Amen, may the Lord gain us as such ones today!
May we give ourselves to the Lord for the fulfilment of His purpose and the hastening of His return by putting on the whole armour of God by means of all prayer and petition so that, having done all, we may stand!
Lord Jesus, we exercise our spirit to utter all prayer and petition so that we may take up and apply the whole armour of God! Praise the Lord, we are seated with Christ in the heavenlies to participate in all His accomplishments! Hallelujah, we today walk in His Body on the earth to fulfil God’s eternal purpose! Amen, Lord, we stand in Your power to fight against God’s enemy. We exercise our spirit to pray and apply all the items of God’s armour so that we may stand against the stratagems of the devil. Oh Lord, may we see that the enemy is working subtly and continually to damage the Body of Christ and frustrate the Lord from fulfilling His purpose. May we stand in the Body, one with the Head, and apply the armour of God so that we may be able to withstand in the evil day. Amen, Lord, may we stand in the Body and as the Body, one with the Lord, applying every item of God’s armour in spirit by prayer, so that we may stand against the enemy and his stratagems! Oh Lord, may Your kingdom come and Your will be done!

Dear brother, the way we apply the whole armour of God is by prayer; prayer makes every item of the armour available to us in a practical way.
When we as the Body put on the whole armour of God, we are able to stand against the stratagems of the devil.
May we see that we are on a battlefield today and may we cooperate with the Lord to fight against Satan’s aerial forces so that we can gain more of Christ for the building up of the Body and the preparation of the bride!
Hallelujah! Christ has won the victory, praise the Lord.
Amen brother.
If the army does not receive the full armour from the captain or general of the army in prayer and petition, we cannot sit, walk, and stand properly.
So, the church as a whole needs to put on all the six types of armour by prayer corporately.
The armor of God is applied through prayer that we may be able to stand one with the Lord against the strategems of the evil one for Christ’s warrior bride to be prepared!
Prayer is the unique, crucial, and vital means to apply all the items of the armor of God. It makes the armor available to us in a practical way.
By putting on the whole armor of God through pray,er we are able to stand against the stratagems, the evil plans, of the devil.
In fighting against the enemy, the most important thing is to stand; having done all, we need to stand to the end.
How much we can stand depends on our sitting with Christ and walking in His body.
Bro, what should our posture be today in such a desperate hour? Should we our ease and pleasure seek
And let the foe devour?
Or with increasing conflict strong,
Courageous to endure?
‘Tis here that life or death is won!
Who will God’s praise secure?
May we partake, enjoy, and gain more of Christ for the building up of the Body and the preparation of the bride and the setting up and spreading the kingdom of God so that Christ can come back to inherit the earth.
Today, we see the crucial matter of prayer.
Prayer is the seventh item of the armour of God. Prayer is the unique way to apply the armour of God.
We should sit with Christ in the heavenlies, walk in His Body on the Earth, and stand in His power against the evil schemes of the enemy.
The most important thing is to stand to the very end…
Amen for the armour of God, brother.
Having shown us the 6 items necessary for our defence and offensive posture in spiritual warfare, we are charged in (Eph. 6:11 & 13) to “put on” and “take up” the whole armour of God. This is to enable us (1) stand against the devil’s stratagems (2) withstand in the evil day, having done all, to stand.
However, we cannot and should not attempt to use any part of God’s armour without prayer -” by means of all prayer and petition… concerning all the saints” – for prayer is the unique way to apply the armour of God. (6:18).
It is of utmost importance in fighting to stand; Our “stand” depends on whether we’ve been seated with Christ in the heavelies, whether walk worthily of His calling in newness of life, in love, & in light as God’s children, and whether we keep the charge to “take it up, put it on,” to stand against Satan’s stratagems corporately in His body.
May we be burdened – “By means of all prayer and petition… concerning all the saints” to pray for the building up of the Body, for the preparation of the bride, for the setting up and spreading the kingdom of God – so that Christ can come back to inherit the earth.
