Being Infused with God to Become the Same as He is for God’s Building

Through the transfusing of the sevenfold intensified Spirit, the seven eyes of Christ as the engraved stone, we become the same as Christ in life, nature, and expression for God’s building (Eph. 3:19b, 21).

Through the transfusing of the sevenfold intensified Spirit, the seven eyes of Christ as the engraved stone, we become the same as Christ in life, nature, and expression for God’s building (Eph. 3:19b, 21).

Christ is the Stone with seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God. When we come to the Lord to spend time with Him, He infuses us through His seven eyes, and we are being transformed from glory to glory into His image (1 Cor. 3:18).

Something happens in us organically as we spend time with the Lord – we are infused with Him and we become like Him! We don’t know what we will be like, but we know that when Christ returns and we see Him, we will be like Him (1 John 3:2).

Through the transfusing of the seven eyes of Christ, the seven Spirits of God, we become the same as He is in life, nature, expression, and function – but not in the Godhead – for His building, His corporate expression.

Infused with God to Become God for God’s Building

This is God’s desire and His purpose in His economy – to infuse and transfuse Himself into man until man corporately becomes His expression in the universe, shining Him out in His glory.

As we read the Bible “with the glasses of God’s economy on”, we will see that the high peak of the divine revelation is that God became man so that man may become God in life and nature but not in the Godhead to produce and build up the organic Body of Christ as the corporate expression of the Triune God (see John 1:12-14; 1 John 3:1-2; Rom. 8:3; 12:4-5).

This high peak of the revelation in the Bible is accomplished by God’s continual infusing of His element into His people to make them the same as He is!

God purposely became a man, so that man may become God in life and nature but not in the Godhead for the producing of the organic Body of Christ to fulfill God’s economy to close this age and to bring Christ back with His kingdom.

It is for this that we are saved, it is for this we live our Christian life, and it is for this we go through a long process of transformation and conformation so that we may be made like Him, like Christ, and even be made Christ! It is all for the building up of the temple of God!

The entire Scriptures reveal that God’s intention is to make His chosen, redeemed, and regenerated people the reproduction of Christ for the temple of God—the Body of Christ—as the corporate expression of the Triune God (John 1:12-14; 12:24; Rom. 1:3-4; 8:3, 29; 12:4-5).

This high peak should not be a doctrine to us but should touch us, revitalise us, and encourage us to open to the Lord and pray,

Lord, deify me for the Body. Lord, Christify me for the Body of Christ. Lord, make me the same as You are in every possible way for the Body, the Bride, the kingdom, and the New Jerusalem!

Seeing Deification for the Building of God in Song of Songs

The Scriptures reveal that God’s intention is to make His chosen, redeemed, and regenerated people the reproduction of Christ for the temple of God—the Body of Christ—as the corporate expression of the Triune God (John 1:12-14; 12:24; Rom. 1:3-4; 8:3, 29; 12:4-5).

There are at least five books in the Bible that speak of and imply the deification of the believers: Song of Songs, the gospel of John, Romans, Hebrews, and Revelation.

There’s nowhere in the Bible that the word “deification” is mentioned, neither is there the expression, “becoming God in life and nature”, but there are many verses that imply this and explain this.

I was specifically touched by the book of Song of Songs and how it shows that we as God’s loving seekers become His duplication through the process of transformation.

In the book of Song of Songs we see that, as the reproduction of Christ, the loving seekers of the Lord become the sanctuary of God and a corporate Shulamite (6:4, 13). The lover started as we all do, as someone captivated by Christ, the Beloved, and she yearned for His kisses (1:2).

As she progresses in her love for her Beloved, the loving seeker is being transformed into a garden for His delight and eventually, into Tirzah (the palace of the king) and Jerusalem (the city of the king).

Towards the end of the book, the loving seeker becomes the Shulamite – the female version of Solomon – fully matching him in life and nature. We as Christ’s lovers and loving seekers become the same as He is in life and nature to match Him (2 Cor. 3:18; Rom. 8:29) for our eternal marriage with Him.

Today we are in the process of transformation until we become Christ’s duplication together with all the saints, for God’s corporate expression in His building, the New Jerusalem.

In this sense, the New Jerusalem will be a corporate Shulamite, including all of God’s chosen and redeemed people. We human beings become a duplication of Christ to match Him in every possible way for eternity – a universal couple, the New Jerusalem!

Lord Jesus, we love You! Infuse us with Yourself every day, and make us the same as You are for God’s building. Keep us under Your divine dispensing, infusing, and transfusing. Lord, transform us day by day as we behold You, as we gaze on You, and as we spend time with You. Make us Your corporate expression – make us the same as You are in life and nature but not in the Godhead! Gain Your building by adding more God into us every day!
