Christ opened a new and living way into God and He is the Author & Perfecter of our faith!

The Epistle to the Hebrews is so rich – there are so many aspects of the all-inclusive Christ revealed in this book! He is the One sent by God coming to “do God’s will” (Heb. 10:9) – He came to put away the animal sacrifices of the old covenant and to establish Himself, in His Body, as the unique sacrifice for sin!

He terminated God’s Old Testament economy and initiated God’s New Testament economy in which Christ replaces with Himself all the offerings, matters, things, and persons! In God’s New Testament economy Christ is the centrality and universality for producing and building up of the church as the Body of Christ – consummating in the New Jerusalem!

This is why Christ came and died on the cross – to replace all the Old Testament sacrifices with Himself as the unique sacrifice for sin and to regenerate, transform, and glorify the believers that they may be members of the Body for the consummation of the New Jerusalem!

Through His death on the cross Christ opened a new and living way for man to come into God, for us to enter the Holy of Holies (Heb. 10:19)! His death on the cross rent the veil in the temple to open a new and living way for Him to enter through His own blood into the Holy of Holies – in the direct presence of God – and now He ministers as our High Priest all that God is into our being as our life and life supply in the heavenly atmosphere!

Christ opened a new and living way for us to have access to God! Now we need to have boldness through the blood of Jesus to come forward to the throne of grace (Heb. 4:16). We have no way in ourselves and we have no merit based on which we can come to God; but we have the blood of Jesus which opens the way for us to come into God, into the Holy of Holies!

Christ is the Initiator of this new way, and we today as the many believers are those coming forward to God with boldness based on the blood of Jesus!

Even more – the all-inclusive Christ is the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Heb. 12:2)!

What is faith? Faith is the Lord Jesus Christ being infused into us to become our believing ability that we may believe into God. He is the Author of our faith – when we look away from all things unto Him, He “radiates Himself into us”, He infuses us with Himself, “charging us with Christ”.

In ourselves we have no ability or capacity to believe – we need to look away unto Jesus, the immense magnet in the universe, that we may be drawn to Him and infused with Him! It is by being attracted by His charming beauty that we look away from all things other than Him – to Christ! Faith is really Christ Himself being infused into us and believing in us for us in a very subjective way! This is why EVERYONE can be saved – as long as he looks away unto Jesus (Heb. 12:2)!

Jesus Christ, the living Person, becomes the believing element and the believing ability in us – making us a believing being! All we need to do is to just look away unto Jesus – He will do the rest! LOOK AWAY UNTO JESUS!

[sharing inspired from, The Conclusion of the New Testament msgs. 379-380, as quoted in the HWMR on, The Central Line of the Bible]

Thank You Lord we can come to God today based on the perfect sacrifice of Jesus on the cross! Now we don’t need to DO something to have access to God – Christ opened a new and living way through His death on the cross! We are not qualified and we are not “the right people”, but we come to God with boldness! We come based not on our merit or righteousness – we come to You based on the blood of Jesus! We just want to LOOK AWAY from anything else unto Jesus! Infuse us, dear Lord, with all that You are! Become the believing ability in us! We can’t believe in and of ourselves – be the One in us believing for us!
