Clearly Seeing the High Peak of the Divine Revelation and Praying for a New Revival

The divine-human romance is the subject of the entire Bible, the content of God’s economy, and the secret of the entire universe. In the beginning of the Bible we see God as a “single person”, and at the end of the Bible we see “the Spirit and the Bride” as a couple.

The entire Bible is a divine-human romance; the content of God’s economy is God becoming a man to court man, regenerate man, and transform man with the divine life so that man would become the same as He is in life, nature, expression, and function, with the result that the processed and consummated Triune God marries the redeemed and transformed man to live a marriage life together for eternity in and as the New Jerusalem.

On His side, God became man through incarnation so that He may participate in man’s humanity, and on our side, we become God (in life and nature but not in the Godhead) through regeneration and transformation by participating in God’s divinity. God’s intention is not merely to be the God in the heavens having a people on earth who worship Him and fear His name; He desires to have a wife, and such a wife cannot be merely human but has to be divine and human.

We see this in the book of the Song of Songs where the country girl is courted by Solomon, the king, and she goes through a long process to become the Shulammite, the female version of Solomon to be his counterpart and bride. God came to court us and woo us and gain us through incarnation, and through regeneration and transformation we are brought into a divine-human romance with God in which we are drawn to Him and transformed by Him into His image to match Him in every possible way for our union for eternity.

At the end of the Bible we see the Spirit and the Bride speaking in oneness, Come! (Rev. 22:17) Hallelujah, our destiny as children of God and brothers of Christ is to be fully transformed into Christ’s image so that we may become the same as He is in the divine-human romance for our marriage life for eternity in and as the New Jerusalem!

The Consummated God and the Transformed Man are to be One Couple, the New Jerusalem

God and man will become one entity, and that one entity is the mingling of divinity with humanity, which will consummate in the New Jerusalem, the conclusion of the entire Bible. Witness LeeThe subject of the entire Bible, the content of God’s economy, and the secret of the entire universe is the divine-human romance, and a clear picture of this romance is seen in the book of Song of Songs. God is typified by Solomon, and we are typified by the “country girl”. The single God became a man through incarnation, then He became a life-giving compound all-inclusive Spirit through resurrection, and He was intensified to be the seven Spirits of God due to the degradation of the church.

On His side, God went through a long process in order to become the processed and consummated God as the Husband. On our side, we start as sinners, but when we hear the gospel we are attracted to Christ, we open to Him, we’re regenerated by Him, and we enter a lifelong process of transformation into Christ’s image to be the transformed man as the universal wife.

We can daily live a life in the divine-human romance by loving the Lord with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and we will become His reproduction, duplication, counterpart, and full expression. As we are having a personal, intimate, affectionate, spiritual, and private relationship with the Lord, we are being transformed into the same image as He is.

On His side, Christ is both divine and human, and on our side, we are both human and divine; we are the same in life and nature, perfectly matching each other. He even brings us in the position of ascension (see Song of Songs 4:8) to be one with Him in His ascension and live with Him in ascension as one couple, perfectly matching one another.

The consummation of the process of transformation we are going through is that we are not only regenerated with the divine life in our spirit but also filled with the divine life which transforms us in our soul, and eventually our mortal body will also be saturated with the divine life so that we would match Christ in body, soul, and spirit.

Eventually, as we live a life in the mingled spirit and thus are being transformed day by day, we will be consummated as the Bride of the Lamb, and we will be fully one with the processed and consummated Triune God as the Spirit to speak as one, Come, if you’re thirsty, come and drink (Rev. 22:17).

The Triune God consummated is the Husband, and the tripartite man is fully transformed to be the bride, and the issue of such a union is the New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:2, 9). God and man will become one entity, and that one entity is the mingling of divinity with humanity, which will consummate in the New Jerusalem, the conclusion of the entire Bible.

The New Jerusalem is not something physical made of gold and precious materials but a spiritual entity, the consummation of God’s work throughout the ages and the full union, mingling, and incorporation of God with man to live a marriage life for eternity in and as the New Jerusalem. This is something wonderful, mysterious, and so great!

Lord Jesus, mingle Yourself with us a little more today so that we may be transformed into Your image and become part of Your glorious bride. Lord, keep us in the process of transformation day by day until we fully match You in life, nature, expression, and function. We love You, Lord. We love to spend intimate, personal, affectionate, and spiritual time in private with You. Draw us and we will run after You. Kiss us with the kisses of Your mouth. Call us into ascension to live with You in resurrection. Lord, make us the same as You are to match You for our marriage life for eternity!

Clearly Seeing the High Peak of the Divine Revelation and Praying for a New Revival

I hope that the saints in all the churches throughout the earth, especially the co-workers and the elders, will see this revelation and then rise up to pray that God would give us a new revival—a revival which has never been recorded in history. Witness LeeThe Lord has been recovering the truth in the Bible, unveiling His seeking believers throughout the ages concerning truth after truth in the holy word. Today we stand on the shoulders of many who went before us throughout the generations and have been faithful to seek the Lord in His word, and we now have the high peak of the divine revelation.

Today we can clearly see that God’s intention in saving man is not to bring man to heavens (as some think) but God became a man so that man may become God in life and in nature but not in the Godhead. We need to be clear concerning the high peak of the divine revelation and have it written on our being; our vision need to be clear concerning what God wants to do – He desires to make us the same as He is through the process of transformation so that we may match Him and be one with Him as one couple for eternity.

Brother Lee once testified,

Christ made Himself, the first God-man, a prototype for the mass reproduction of many brothers—the many God-men (Rom. 8:29). I have been a Christian for about sixty-nine years. After so many years, I have been made by God to know only one thing—God became man so that man may become God in life and in nature but not in the Godhead. This is my unique burden, my unique message. God and man will become one entity, and that one entity is the mingling of divinity with humanity. This mingling will consummate in the New Jerusalem, which is the conclusion of the entire Bible. (Witness Lee, The Practical Way to Live a Life according to the High Peak of the Divine Revelation in the Holy Scriptures, p. 27)

This is what the Bible is talking about, and this is the highest peak of the divine revelation in the holy word. We need to be brought up-to-date with the Lord according to the present truth and we need to rise up to pray that the Lord would give us a new revival, a revival which as never been recorded in history. If we as believers in Christ and saints of God all around the world see the high peak of the divine revelation and rise up to pray, the Lord will bring in a new revival, a revival that has never been seen in history, and then the age will end.

We need to let go of any doctrinal old concepts and any desire to seek after individual spirituality and pray for more mingling, more transformation, and more living in the divine-human romance so that God would obtain what He is after, the perfect, blameless, beautiful bride which He will marry after having a one thousand year (one day in His sight) wedding in the millennium.

Oh, that we may know only one thing, that is, that God became man so that man may become God in life and nature but not in the Godhead to produce and build up the Body of Christ consummating in the New Jerusalem!

Lord Jesus, may many of Your loving seekers throughout the earth clearly see the highest peak of the divine revelation and rise up to pray that God would give us a new revival, a revival which has never been recorded in history! Lord, may Your saints see the diamond in the box of the Bible, which is that God became a man so that man might become God in life and nature but not in the Godhead to produce and build up the Body of Christ that consummates in the New Jerusalem. Oh Lord, may we SEE and may we PRAY so that You may bring in a new revival!

[In Song of Songs 4:8] Christ asks His lover as His bride to look with Him from His ascension (Lebanon), the highest place of the truth (Amana) and of Christ’s victory in His fighting (Senir and Hermon), and from the heavenly places of the enemies (the lions’ dens and the leopards’ mountains). Christ calls His lover to live with Him in His ascension, as He had called her to remain in His cross (2:14)….She and Christ are living in one condition, the condition of ascension, to be a couple. Christ is divine and human, and His transformed lover is human and divine. They are the same in life and nature, perfectly matching one another. (Song of Songs 4:8, footnote 1, Recovery Version Bible)
