We need to Enter into and Become Part of the Divine and Mystical Realm Today

John 14:20 In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

The Lord’s desire is to gain the temple of God, the built up church that is the reality of the Body of Christ in all the local churches. For this to happen, however, we all need to enter into another realm, the divine and mystical realm.

When the Lord Jesus was on earth, He was a human being outwardly like the rest, but He lived in a divine and mystical realm. He didn’t just “heal people” or “speak the word of God” – He expressed God, manifested God, and lived a proper human life in a mystical way, such that people who saw Him realized that there’s something else about this person.

He didn’t just get a group of disciples together to continue His teachings but He perfected them by His living with them and being with them, asking them to just “be with Him” and learn from Him.

When Christ prayed, He didn’t pray merely as a seeker of God to the God in heaven, neither did He merely want to enjoy God and experience God; He prayed as a man in the flesh to the mysterious God in a divine and mystical realm.

His prayer recorded in John 17 is different from our prayer: He didn’t merely ask for things from God but unveiled God’s heart’s desire to sanctify, renew, and glorify man so that God would be glorified, and He clearly stated that His disciples would be brought into the Triune God.

God’s intention is for His people to enter into a divine and mystical realm where the processed God as the Spirit is everything to them. However, when Christ was on earth physically it was only He Himself that lived in such a realm; He did everything from the Father and by the Spirit, being in the realm of the Triune God as He lived in the flesh.

Through His death and in His resurrection, Christ was transfigured to become a life-giving Spirit – He became the divine and mystical realm where we as believers can enter and should live today!

Hallelujah, now everyone who repents, believes into the Lord, and calls on the name of the Lord enters into the kingdom of God, the divine and mystical realm, and here God in Christ as the compound all-inclusive life-giving bountiful Spirit of Jesus Christ is everything to him! We can enter and become part of the divine and mystical realm today! Praise the Lord!

The Divine and Mystical Realm we Enter is of the Consummated Spirit and the Pneumatic Christ

John 14:1 Do not let your heart be troubled; believe into God, believe also into Me.What is the divine and mystical realm we are speaking of here? Can man enter into God, into the Godhead? According to the entire revelation in the Bible, we cannot enter directly into the Godhead, but the Lord clearly said in John 14: in that day you will know that I am in My Father and you in Me and I in you.

In that day refers to the day of resurrection; in His resurrection and after His resurrection we as His believers know that Christ is the Father, we are in Christ, and Christ is in us – we are in a different realm, the realm of the consummated Spirit and the pneumatic Christ (John 14:16-20).

We cannot enter into the Godhead, but by believing into the Lord we enter into the kingdom of God, the realm of the consummated Spirit where Christ as the Spirit is everything to us. There is a realm that was produced by the resurrection of Christ into which we may enter and live; here we can have not only our church life and family life but also our entire human life.

As we are living our human life in the physical realm, we can be in the consummated Spirit and the pneumatic Christ in our spirit, and in this realm we have the compound Spirit – everything is ours spontaneously!

In the realm of the consummated Spirit and the pneumatic Christ, we have the Lord’s humanity, the sweetness and effectiveness of His death, the power of His resurrection, His human virtues, and His divine attributes – all are here for us to inhale by calling on the name of the Lord!

The Spirit of reality, the “Another Comforter”, is the reality of the Son realized as the Son’s presence in the believers. In His resurrection Christ the Son became the life-giving Spirit, and He came to the disciples to breathe in them, asking them to receive the Holy Spirit; by this we can know that the Son is in the Father, the believers are in the Son, and the Son is in the believers (1 Cor. 15:45; John 20:22; 14:19-20).

This is our birthright: it is our right by being born of God that we enter and live in the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit and the pneumatic Christ to enjoy all the riches of God and all that Christ has, has attained, and has obtained. We need to see this realm, enter into it, and live in our spirit day by day!

Lord Jesus, please open our eyes to see the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit and the pneumatic Christ. Cause us to treasure the access You have given us in this realm. Oh Lord Jesus, keep us calling on Your name to enter into this realm and live in this realm. We want to enjoy Your humanity, Your death, Your resurrection, and all Your virtues and attributes by inhaling You as the Spirit! Oh Lord Jesus! Keep us in our mingled spirit today to live one spirit with You!

We need to Enter into and Become Part of the Divine and Mystical Realm Today

John 3:5-6 Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. We need to have a clear view of the divine and mystical realm; we should never underestimate having a proper view of something since such a seeing affects our being and changes our whole life.

According to the Bible, we can enter the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit and the pneumatic Christ through regeneration; no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born of God and baptized into God (John 3:3, 5).

In spiritual things to see is to enter into; for us to see the kingdom of God – the divine and mystical realm – we need to be born of God, that is, enter into the realm of God’s kingdom through regeneration. We enter into the divine and mystical realm by seeing this realm, and when we enter into this realm, we become part of this realm.

We become part of the divine and mystical realm through the divine birth; through regeneration we are born into the divine and mystical realm.

In the world we have troubles, sufferings, and afflictions, but when we believe into the Lord, in Him we have peace, comfort, and joy; we need to enter into the realm of the kingdom of God by believing into the Lord (John 14:1). There are two realms here: the physical human realm where there are troubles and problems and the mystical realm of the Triune God where peace is.

The Lord spoke His words to us that we may have peace in Him; in the world we have affliction, but praise the Lord, He has overcome the world, and we are in Him (John 16:33). Outwardly we may have sufferings, problems, and tough situations, but whenever we turn to our spirit by calling on the name of the Lord, we enjoy peace, joy, and rest in the divine and mystical realm, the kingdom of God.

We become part of the divine and mystical realm by participating in God’s divinity; we were born of God with His divine life and nature, and now we are partakers of the divine nature with all its riches and attributes (2 Pet. 1:4), we are being renewed in the spirit of our mind (Eph. 4:23), we are being transformed into the same image as Christ from glory to glory (2 Cor. 3:18), and we will eventually be redeemed in our body to be transfigured and have a body of glory just like Christ (Rom. 8:23, 29).

As we spend time in the divine and mystical realm to enjoy Christ with all His riches, we absorb all the riches of the Triune God day and night. We participate in the divine and mystical realm by breathing in the name of the Lord, eating the Word of God, drinking in the Spirit, letting the light of life shine into us, and letting the Lord dispense all that He is in us. How wonderful it is to be here and participate in this realm!

At this point I would like to say a further word about a new utterance which the Lord has given us: participate in God’s divinity. This language is very strange and marvelous….In God’s organic salvation we, the believers in Christ, can participate in God’s divinity. God’s life has been imparted into our life, His nature is being wrought into our nature, His mind is being wrought into our mind, and we even have His divine element, the element of the riches of His unsearchable life, to transform our entire being. Thus, we have God’s life, God’s nature, God’s mind, and the divine element of all His riches, and now we can participate in God’s divinity in full. For us to participate in God’s divinity means that He is making us Him. He is making us God in His life, in His nature, in His thinking, and in His expression but not, of course, in His Godhead. For God to work Himself into us in such a way is not merely to make us holy, and it is not merely to make us perfect, victorious, and spiritual. God is working His life, nature, mind, and element into us in order to make us God in life, in nature, in mind, and in expression. (Witness Lee, The Secret of God’s Organic Salvation — “the Spirit Himself with Our Spirit,” p. 42)

We become part of the divine and mystical realm through the divine birth, by participating in God’s divinity, and by being built up in the Body of Christ, which consummates the New Jerusalem as the divine and mystical realm for eternity. We can never participate in the Godhead, but we can participate in God’s divinity, that is, we can enjoy God’s life, have His mind being infused into us, partake of the divine nature, and be constituted with the divine element so that we may be made the same as God in life, nature, and expression, but not in His Godhead.

As we spend time in the divine and mystical realm by calling on the Lord, unceasingly praying, giving thanks in all things, singing and psalming, and abiding in the Lord, God is working His life, nature, mind, and element into us to make us the same as He is for His corporate expression, the temple of God.

Amen, Hallelujah! Finally, we become part of the divine and mystical realm by being built up in the Body of Christ, which consummates the New Jerusalem as the divine and mystical realm for eternity (see Eph. 4:16; Rev. 21:2).

Lord Jesus, thank You for bringing us into the divine and mystical realm through regeneration so that we may become partakers of the divine nature and participate in God’s divinity. We open to You again and again to absorb Your riches, be infused with Your element, be renewed in our mind, and partake of Your nature. We just want to breathe You in, eat You in the word, drink the Spirit, and allow the light of life to shine in us so that we may be made the same as You are in life, nature, and expression, but not in the Godhead!

In John 14:1 the Lord Jesus [said] “Believe into God, believe also into Me.” Here the preposition into is very important. We should believe not only in God and in Christ, but we should believe into God and into Christ. Our heart is troubled because we are in the world, and the way for this trouble to be solved is for us to enter into Christ by believing into Him. Here we can see two realms: the physical realm, the world where all the troubles are, and the mystical realm of the Triune God—the Father, the Son, and the Spirit—where peace is.

In 16:33 the Lord Jesus said, “These things I have spoken to you that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have affliction, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” Here again we see both the physical realm (“the world”) and the mystical realm (“Me”). Chapters 14, 15, and 16 of John are a section. At the beginning of this section the Lord Jesus indicated, in 14:1, that He intended to speak something to help us to believe into Him. We should not think that believing into Christ is a simple matter. If He had not died on the cross to take away our sins, to crucify our flesh, and to terminate our old man, and if He had not resurrected to become the life-giving Spirit, there would be no way for Him to come into us and to bring us into Him.
