The Lord Jesus was Brought to the Throne: a Man is on the Throne as the Lord of All!

Phil. 2:9 Therefore also God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name.God is on the throne, and He rules over all things; however, through His crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension, the Lord Jesus was brought to the throne, and now we are in the process of being brought to the throne! Hallelujah!

This is God’s intention from the very beginning: God created man in His image and according to His likeness so that man would take Him in as life and express Him with His image and represent Him with His authority (see Gen. 1:26).

We see this in fulfillment in a vision in Ezek. 1:26, where the One on the throne has the appearance of a man.

God created us according to His kind with the purpose that we would receive His life, be filled with Him, and be transformed and matured so that we may express Him and represent Him.

The first man, Adam, failed to fulfill God’s purpose, but the second man, Jesus Christ, individually fulfilled God’s purpose in creating man. Jesus Christ, the God-man – the man-God – expressed God in His image and represented God with His authority when He was on earth.

Through His death, resurrection, and ascension, Jesus Christ the Man was brought into God, and He was raised to the throne, the highest point in the universe. Now there is not only God on the throne – there is a Man on the throne, and His name is Jesus Christ!

And this One, in His death, crucified the old man, and created in Himself a new man; this new man is becoming a reality today, and it is growing and being perfected to be the corporate one new man that expresses God and represents Him on earth.

God’s intention is to give man His image for him to express God and give man dominion so that he may subdue God’s enemy, recover the earth from Satan’s usurpation, and bring the kingdom of God to the earth.

We need to be the believers in Christ who are willing to be gained by the Lord and worked on by Him so that we may actually be able to subdue God’s enemy Satan – not just defeat him but subdue him.

May we allow the Lord to search us, burn in us, and infuse us with Himself as the holy element, and may we be infused with the Lord until we become like Him, shining and ruling one with Him on the throne – as He intends us to do!

The Lord Jesus was Brought to the Throne: a Man is on the Throne as the Lord of All!

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made Him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you have crucified.Though the Lord Jesus was equal with God, He didn’t grasp unto it, but He laid aside the glorious expression of His deity, He emptied Himself, and He became a man; He humbled Himself and was obedient unto death, and that the death of a cross (Phil. 2:5-11).

He could say that He came down from heaven not to do His will but the will of Him who sent Him. The Lord was a man absolutely under God’s authority, and therefore God’s authority flowed though Him.

The enemy tried to tempt Him to step out of His standing as a man and function as God (for example, change stones into bread), but Jesus stood on the position of a man. The Lord Jesus was a man, a God-man, who expressed God and dealt with Satan, and He was a man under authority.

He was obedient His whole life; He never did anything out of Himself, never sought His own glory, never spoke His own words, and never expressed Himself but the Father. He was crucified out of weakness, fulfilling God’s will, accomplishing the work of redemption, destroying the devil, and releasing the divine life.

Therefore, God raised Him from the dead and raised Him to the throne, and He gave Him the name which is above every name – Jesus! Now Jesus is Lord! And the time is coming when every knee will bow – in heaven and on earth and under the earth – and every tongue will openly confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!

God has always been the Lord, but now a man is on the throne as Lord (Rev. 4:2-3; 5:6). After the Lord Jesus was crucified and buried, God resurrected Him and set Him at His right hand, making Him the Lord of all the universe (Phil. 2:9-11).

As God, the Lord was the Lord all the time (Luke 1:43; John 11:21; 20:28), but as man, He was made the Lord in His ascension after He brought His humanity into God in His resurrection; in His ascension He was made the Lord of all to possess all (Acts 2:33, 36; 3:15; 10:36).

As God, the Lord was the Lord all the time (Luke 1:43; John 11:21; 20:28). But as man, He was made the Lord in His ascension after He brought His humanity into God in His resurrection. And as God’s sent and anointed One, He was Christ from the time He was born (Luke 2:11; Matt. 1:16; John 1:41; Matt. 16:16). But as such a One, He was also officially made the very Christ of God in His ascension. The Lord was made Lord, as the Lord of all (Acts 10:36), to possess all; and He was made Christ, as God’s Anointed (Heb. 1:9), to carry out God’s commission. Life-study of Acts, p. 81, by Witness LeeNow the Lord Jesus, a Man (a God-man) can say, All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Me! God on the throne gave all authority in heaven and on earth to Jesus, son of God, son of Man.

The enemy fears when he hears this; he’s not move when we simply believe that God is on the throne, but he is bothered when we have a vision that increasingly controls us, that Jesus the Man is on the throne.

The God-exalted Jesus, the Ruler of the kings of the earth, is the Ruler over all the ones who are in power; He is the ruler over presidents, prime ministers, kings, queens, ministers, ambassadors, governors, senators, MPs, lords, princes, and any ruler on earth.

Jesus Christ is the chief Ruler in the divine government for the fulfillment of God’s eternal plan. We need to put aside our political feelings and inclinations, and realize that Jesus Christ the Man is on the throne, and He is the Lord of the universe.

Whether the human authorities know this or not, Jesus is on the throne, He is ruling over all things, and He exercises His authority over everyone and everything to cause man to be saved, cause the church to be built up, and cause the overcomers to be produced. Praise the Lord!

Hallelujah, Jesus Christ the Man is on the throne as the Ruler over all the kings of the earth! Praise the Lord, in His ascension Jesus was officially made the very Christ of God and was given authority over everyone and everything in the universe! Now Jesus is the Ruler of the kings of the earth, and He is the chief Ruler in the divine government for the fulfillment of God’s eternal plan! Praise the Lord, our Lord Jesus was brought to the throne, and today He is working in us and on us to bring us to the throne to rule with Him!

As the Forerunner and Pioneer, Jesus cut the Path to the Throne and Led the Way to the Throne

Through His crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension, the Lord Jesus was brought to the throne. A real man whose name is Jesus is on the throne. This is why we declare, “Jesus is Lord” and why we call, “O Lord Jesus.” God has always been the Lord, but now a man is on the throne as the Lord. Through His resurrection and in His ascension, “God has made Him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus” (Acts 2:36). God has made Jesus, a Nazarene, the Lord, and now today the Lord of heaven and of earth is a man. Life-study of Ezekiel, p. 129, by Witness LeeThe Lord’s intention is not just to have one man – the one God-man Jesus Christ – as the One reigning on the throne; rather, as the Pioneer and Forerunner, the Lord Jesus cut the path to the throne and led the way to the throne (Heb. 6:20; 2:10) and we all follow Him.

He is now in the Holy of Holies praying for us and ministering to us so that we may follow in His steps and be brought to the throne. We don’t have to cut the path to the throne – it has already been cut, and it has been trodden by many faithful believers; we just need to follow in the footsteps of the flock.

Jesus Christ became a man, and as a Man, He went to the throne (Rev. 3:21). He is not the only man destined for the throne: He cut the path so that we all may follow! May we be infused with faith so that we may believe that, in Christ, we are destined for the throne!

Christ as the Pioneer cut the way, and as the Forerunner He opened the way and ran; now we follow Him to be brought to the throne.

He wants us to overcome so that we may be given to sit with Him on His throne, even as He overcame and was given by the Father to sit on His throne; even as He is, so He wants us to make, and where He is, that’s where He wants us to be.

God desires to make us people of the throne, to bring us all the way to the throne.

In Revelation 3:21 the Lord Jesus says, “He who overcomes, to him I will give to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne.” The Lord Jesus seemed to be saying that He became a man, and as a man He went to the throne. God’s intention is to take us to the throne. His desire is to make us people of the throne. God’s kingdom cannot come in full until we are on the throne. Furthermore, God’s enemy will not be subdued until we are on the throne. God’s goal, therefore, is not merely to deliver us out of hell but to bring us to the throne. Witness Lee, Life-study of Ezekiel, p. 127God’s enemy will not be subdued until we are on the throne. God intends to bring us into glory and to set us on the throne.

In the New Jerusalem, when we all are glorified and mature sons of God under the throne of God and of the Lamb, enjoying the flow of water of life and authority from the throne, we will see God’s face, we will be directly in His presence, and His shining on us is His reigning over us (Rev. 22:3-5).

As we let the Lord shine on us and reign over us, He will shine through us to reign through us over all the nations on the earth, and we will reign with Christ for eternity.

Today we are on our way to being brought to the throne – we are on our way to glory.

Jesus cut the path to the throne as the Pioneer, and He led the way to the throne as the Forerunner; now He is working in us and on us to bring us all the way to the throne to rule and reign with Him. Hallelujah!

Lord Jesus, thank You for being the Pioneer who cut the path to the throne and the Forerunner who led the way to the throne. Hallelujah, we are now believers in Christ destined for the throne, and we are in the process of being brought to the throne! Lord, we just want to follow in the footsteps of the flock and allow You to work in us and on us until we are fully brought to the throne to rule and reign with You for eternity! Gain what You are after, Lord: gain a group of people who overcome and are given to rule on the throne with Christ!
