Possessing the Good Land by Conquering the Satanic Chaos to Triumph in the Divine Economy

Rom. 16:20 Now the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

As today’s Calebs fighting for God’s interest, it is crucial for us to see a vision of the all-inclusive Christ typified by the good land and to conquer the satanic chaos and triumph in the divine economy by the grace of God.

On one hand God wants to bring us all the way into the enjoyment of the all-inclusive Christ as the reality of the good land; on the other hand, we need to fight the battle and conquer the satanic chaos around us by the grace of God, triumphing in the divine economy.

Joshua, Caleb, and the other ten spies all saw the good land; they were sent to spy out the land and bring a report to the people of Israel, but ten of the spies brought back an evil report, while Joshua and Caleb spoke in a positive way.

In their situation, there was a clear satanic chaos around them: the Canaanites were living in the good land, there were giants in the land, there were great cities with fortified walls, and the land seemed to be too strong for them to conquer.

On one hand all twelve spies saw a vision of the good land, but on the other hand, only two of them conquered the satanic chaos to triumph in the divine economy.

Caleb and Joshua saw a vision of the all-inclusive good land flowing with milk and honey, and they stood on God’s word, triumphing in God’s plan over the satanic chaos.

The ten spies together with the rest of the people, however, saw something of the good land, but the satanic chaos defeated them and put them down, and they were disqualified from entering the good land.

May we be those who not only see a vision of the all-inclusive Christ as typified by the good land of Canaan with all its riches, but those who also triumph in the divine economy over the satanic chaos today.

May we not only see the enemies and giants in the land but also believe in God’s word, standing on His promises, believing that what He has said, He will also do.

God wants that all His people would enter into the full enjoyment of their allotted portion of Christ, the good land; we need to see this, believe this, and trust in the Lord that He will bring us in this.

It is God’s desire to give us an allotted portion of the all-inclusive, rich, and extensive Christ, and He will do it in us; we simply need to stand one with Him in His divine economy and triumph over the satanic chaos by the grace of God.

Seeing a vision of the All-Inclusive Christ Allotted to us as typified by the Good Land

The good land, the land of Canaan, is a type of the all-inclusive Christ, the Christ who is all and in all and who is everything to us (Deut. 8:7-10). The good land provided whatever the children of Israel needed: water, wheat, barley, vines, fig trees, pomegranates, olive trees, animals, milk, honey, stones, iron, copper. The good land surely is a type of the all-inclusive Christ, the embodiment of the Triune God given to us as our inheritance (Acts 26:18; Col. 1:12). Crystallisation-study of Numbers (1), outline 11The good land – the land of Canaan, the destination of the children of Israel after they have been delivered from Egypt and travelled through the wilderness – is a type of the all-inclusive Christ (Deut. 8:7-10).

The land of Canaan is a full, complete, and consummate type of the all-inclusive Christ; this Christ is the embodiment of the Triune God (Col. 2:9) and is realised as the all-inclusive life-giving Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45; 2 Cor. 3:17) to be the inheritance allotted to God’s people for their enjoyment.

Just as the children of Israel were each allotted a certain portion of the good land for their enjoyment, inheritance, labor, and existence, so we as believers in Christ have been allotted Christ – the all-inclusive One – for our enjoyment, inheritance, and spiritual existence.

God’s goal was not just to deliver His people from the tyranny of Pharaoh and the usurpation of Egypt but to bring them into the good land to enjoy it, build God’s temple for His expression, and to build the city for God’s kingdom.

God’s goal in His economy is not just to deliver us from the usurpation of Satan and bring us to a place where He reveals to us His heart’s desire to have a building and a kingdom on earth; He wants us to bring us into the enjoyment of the all-inclusive Christ.

God’s goal in His economy is to bring us into Christ – as typified by the good land – so that we may possess Christ and enjoy His unsearchable riches.

When the children of Israel enjoyed the riches of the god land, they were able to build up the temple to be God’s habitation on earth and the city of Jerusalem to establish God’s kingdom on earth.

In a similar way, when we as believers in Christ enjoy the unsearchable riches of Christ, we are built up to be the Body of Christ, the church, which is Christ’s fullness, His expression (Eph. 1:22-23) and His habitation (Eph. 2:21-22; 1 Tim. 3:15) and the kingdom of God (Matt. 16:18-19; Rom. 14:17).

The good land provided whatever the children of Israel needed: water, wheat, barley, vines, fig trees, pomegranates, olive trees, animals, milk, honey, stones, iron copper. All these items – most of which are mentioned in Deut. 8:7-10 – are types of Christ.

The good land is a type of the all-inclusive Christ, the embodiment of the Triune God given to us as our inheritance (Acts 26:18; Col. 1:12).

As believers in Christ, we need to not only be delivered from God’s judgement on the world, delivered from the world, be brought into the experience and enjoyment of Christ as our daily food supply, and see a revelation of God’s desire to have a building; we need to enter into the enjoyment and possession of Christ, our allotted portion of the good land.

Hallelujah, the all-inclusive Christ as the reality of the good land has been allotted to us to be our portion for our enjoyment and inheritance! Thank You Lord for being processed and consummated to become a life-giving Spirit, an all-inclusive Spirit, to be the reality of the good land as our everything. Hallelujah, we all were allotted a portion of Christ and we need to enter into the enjoyment and experience of this wonderful, all-inclusive Christ! Amen, Lord, bring us into the enjoyment and possession of our allotted portion of Christ!

We possess the Good Land by Conquering the Satanic Chaos to Triumph in the Divine Economy

As today’s Calebs fighting for God’s interest, it is crucial for us to see a vision of the all-inclusive Christ typified by the good land and to conquer the satanic chaos and triumph in the divine economy. In order to possess the good land, we need to engage in spiritual warfare to conquer the satanic chaos and triumph in the divine economy (Eph. 1:10; 6:10-12; Rom. 16:20). W. Lee, The Satanic Chaos in the Old Creation and the Divine Economy for the New CreationEntering into the good land should have been a normality for the children of Israel, and entering into the enjoyment of the all-inclusive Christ should be something normal for the believers in Christ.

However, the history of the universe is that there’s God’s economy being unfolded, and there’s also something called “satanic chaos”, Satan’s work to disrupt, delay, and stop God’s economy.

The history of the universe is a history of God’s economy and Satan’s chaos, and in the entire Bible – from Gen. 1 to Rev. 22 we see a record of the divine economy and the satanic chaos.

The reason for this is that in the universe there are two sources – God and Satan. We may want to be on God’s side 100%, but there are things in us – including our own fallen nature – that side with Satan and works to bring in the satanic chaos.

The satanic chaos always goes along with the divine economy; where God is, Satan is there also, trying to hinder God’s economy.

We can confirm this in our Christian life and church life; sometimes we may think there’s too much satanic chaos, and we may ask the Lord to deliver us from it….but the more we ask Him, the more He allows us to remain in such a situation.

The Lord allows the satanic chaos to exist in our situation and experience because He wants us to be one with Him to conquer it, to overcome it.

He wants to gain His overcomers, the normal believers in Christ, those who see a vision of the all-inclusive Christ as the reality of the good land, see the satanic chaos, and stand one with the Lord to triumph in the divine economy.

In the Lord’s recovery we are for the carrying out of God’s economy on the earth; we see that there is the satanic chaos, we realise that the Lord may not deliver us out of the present chaos, and we conquer the destructive chaos and triumph in the unique constructive divine economy.

All men are subject to the chaos brought in by Satan in the fall of man, but the overcomers are not disappointed or discouraged; instead, they are strengthened and enabled to stand for and live out the divine economy.

The history of the universe is a history of God’s economy and Satan’s chaos (Gen. 1:1-2, 26; Rev. 20:10—21:4). Satan is the source of chaos, and God Himself is the divine economy. Both in the Bible and in our experience, the satanic chaos always goes along with the divine economy (2 Cor. 4:6; 1 Tim. 1:4). Instead of delivering us from chaos, God wants us to be one with Him to conquer the destructive satanic chaos and to carry out the constructive divine economy (Eph. 3:8-10; 2 Cor. 5:17). As we are suffering the chaos, we need to stand for and live out the divine economy (1 Tim. 1:4, 18; 2 Tim. 4:7). The overcomers conquer the satanic chaos and triumph in the divine economy (1 Tim. 1:3-4, 19-20; 4:1-2; Titus 3:10; 2 Tim. 4:7-8). The overcomers suffer the chaos, but instead of being disappointed or discouraged, they are strengthened and enabled to stand for and live out the divine economy according to the truth (Eph. 3:16; 6:10-12). We conquer the chaos by the processed and consummated Triune God as the all-sufficient grace (1 Cor. 15:10; 2 Cor. 12:9; 2 Tim. 4:22). W. Lee, The Satanic Chaos in the Old Creation and the Divine Economy for the New CreationIn our family life with our spouse and our children we can testify that Satan creates a lot of chaos; we may try to manage it, control it, or suppress it, but the chaos is there. In Christendom around us the satanic chaos is going on.

Even within the Lord’s recovery we have experienced this chaos. We all have to conquer this destructive chaos. The Lord needs a race of overcomers to conquer all the satanic chaos and triumph in the divine economy.

How can we overcome? How can we conquer the satanic chaos? It is only by the processed and consummated Triune God as the all-sufficient grace (1 Cor. 15:10; 2 Cor. 12:9; 2 Tim. 4:22).

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is with our spirit, and this grace is sufficient to us; even when we encounter obstacles, difficulties, and trials, the Lord’s grace is sufficient for us.

The Lord as the all-sufficient grace is with our spirit, and we can conquer the satanic chaos and carry out the unique divine economy by Him as our all-sufficient grace.

The result of our experience of Christ as grace is that the church – the manifestation of God in the flesh, the pillar and base of the truth – comes into existence in practicality (1 Tim. 3:15-16).

May we be the overcomers the Lord is looking for today, those who overcome the satanic chaos and triumph in the divine economy by the grace of God.

Lord Jesus, we exercise our spirit to enjoy You as grace so that we may conquer the satanic chaos and triumph in the divine economy! Amen, Lord Jesus, show us a clear vision of the all-inclusive Christ, and strengthen us to engage in spirit warfare to enter into the enjoyment and possession of this Christ! Make us one with You, Lord, enjoying You as grace to live out the constructive divine economy and conquer the satanic chaos. Amen, Lord, may we not be discouraged or disappointed when seeing the satanic chaos; may we be strengthened and enabled to stand for and live out the divine economy according to the truth!

    # God has cleared the way before us / Through the victory of His Son; / Raised the Victor’s banner o’er us, / All the battles He has won. / All that’s left for us to do / Is by faith to follow through. / It’s a land of hills and valleys, / Brooks of water flowing free; / Fountains rich with living water, / Streams that flow abundantly. / Brothers, joyfully we stand / In His promise, Christ the land. (Hymns #1166)
    # Jesus, the all-inclusive land, / Is everything to me: / A Christ of brooks, of depths and streams, / And fountains bubbling free. / Springing from valleys and from hills, / Flowing till every part He fills, / He waters us—how glorious— / By His life! (Hymns #1164)
    # We go in faith, our own great weakness feeling, / And needing more each day Thy grace to know: / Yet from our hearts a song of triumph pealing; / We rest on Thee, and in Thy Name we go. / We rest on Thee, our Shield and our Defender: / Thine is the battle, Thine shall be the praise / When reigning in the Kingdom of Thy splendor; / Victors, we rest with Thee, through endless days. (Hymns #881)
