through Christ’s resurrection we became the many grains, the brothers of Christ, and the sons of God!

Praise the Lord for His wonderful resurrection! Christ accomplished so much through His incarnation, crucifixion, and especially through His resurrection! In the book of Isaiah, there are some “windows” into seeing what Christ’s resurrection accomplished – as Isaiah 53:10-11 reveals,

When He makes Himself an offering for sin, He will see a seed, He will extend His days, and the pleasure of Jehovah will prosper in His hand. He will see the fruit of the travail of His soul, and He will be satisfied; by the knowledge of Him the righteous One, My Servant, will make the many righteous, and He will bear their iniquities.

Here we see some words like “extend”, “seed”, and “fruit” – referring to the issue of Christ’s resurrection. When Christ resurrected, He produced a fruit – a corporate seed, the Body of Christ! He was produced as the Firstborn Son of God and we the many believers were regenerated at the same time as the many brothers of Christ!

Also, through His life-releasing death and in His life-imparting resurrection we – the many believers in Christ – were produced as the many grains of wheat to compose a loaf, the Body of Christ! This is what we partake of and declare at the Lord’s Table meeting – the Body of Christ, the corporate seed produced by Christ in His resurrection! How wonderful!

Through Christ’s resurrection we believers became the many grains of wheat – Christ as the unique grain of wheat (John 12:24) died on the cross and released His divine life, and in His resurrection, He regenerated us to be the many grains of wheat, His continuation, and His reproduction!

He is the One Grain that died the many grains to bear – He died as a single grain of wheat and He resurrected with many grains, the many believers in Christ! His resurrection was so productive! All the believers have been regenerated through Christ’s resurrection (1 Pet. 1:3) to be the many grains produced by Him in His resurrection.

Through Christ’s resurrection, we were produced as a corporate seed – “He will see a seed, He will extend His days”(Isa. 53:10). Christ brought forth a corporate seed through His resurrection! Through His life-releasing death and with His life-imparting resurrection, Christ produced a corporate seed as the issue of the travail of His soul, whom He saw in His resurrection and was satisfied. He produced A SEED – not many seeds, but one corporate seed(which implies all the grains, all the members of Christ’s Body, all Christ’s brothers, and all the sons of God). All the ones who believed into Christ are part of the corporate seed – the joy set before Him for which He paid the price and died the death of a cross!

Through Christ’s resurrection we became the many sons of God – when the Lord Jesus sent Mary to His disciples, He called them, “My brothers”, which shows that in His resurrection all the ones who believed into Him became sons of God! By believing into the Lord Jesus we become sons of God – and this is God’s desire and good pleasure, to have many sons!

Christ was begotten to be the Firstborn Son of God in His resurrection, and we also were begotten at the same time to be the many sons of God! We are no longer only Christ’s followers, Christ’s disciples, or Christ’s believers – we are sons of God and brothers of Christ! We were regenerated to be children of God (John 1:12-13) and brothers of Christ!

When God and Christ saw the result of Christ’s resurrection, God was pleased and Christ was satisfied! This is the best Christ could produce, and it is glorious! He now has “the extension of His days” – He lives in the many members of His Body, He lives through His many believers! The many believers produced in His resurrection are His continuation, His reproduction, the extension of His days – Jesus living again on the earth!

Yes, the Lord Jesus is in the heavens today, but He is also living on the earth in all the members of His Body! If someone persecutes the believers, they persecute Christ! When Paul was on the ship in the middle of the storm, he was Jesus living again(Acts. 28:9)! Christ continues to live in us today! The best service we can give to the Lord is to allow Him to live in us so that we may live Him!

Praise You, Lord, for Your wonderful resurrection! Thank You for dying as the one grain of wheat so that You may produce us as the many grains of wheat filled with Your divine life! Thank You for dying as the Only Begotten Son of God and being raised as the Firstborn Son of God so that we may be the many sons of God! We are now children of God and brothers of Christ! Thank You for producing us as the corporate seed – Your continuation and Your reproduction! Lord, we just want to give You our best cooperation today – by letting You live in us so that we may live You out! We are Your expression, and we are Your continuation – the extension of Your days!
