we need to be dependent on the Lord, leaning on Him and consulting Him (2011 Poland camp)

“In Christ we and God, God and we, are built together, meet together, and dwell together. This is the central though of the book of Exodus.” (from the life-study of Exodus).

we need to be dependent on the Lord, leaning on Him and consulting Him(2011 Poland camp)In the young people’s Poland camp this year the messages were on Exodus and the four crucial aspects: salvation, provision, revelation, and building. The story of Moses with the people of Israel getting out of Egypt is just like our situation today.

This is hard because in Egypt they made a good living and they enjoyed the riches of the world; but Egypt kept them from fulfilling the purpose for which God has originally called them (see Exo. 5:6-9).

This is like our situation in the world today: we love the Lord, but we still love the world. We can’t be like this, we all need to be like ‘females’ who are fully dependent on the Lord.

In order for us to give our whole heart to the Lord and to look away from the world, God sent some plagues to Egypt so that the people of Israel would see in reality what the world is, and they would desire to flee into the wilderness with Christ!

Satan devised the world to ‘hide’ sin – he even mixes it in the things that we depend on in our life. We can only be dependent on the Lord! “Lord let my eyes be unveiled to be disgusted at the world!”.

I find it difficult to turn to my spirit when I’m caught up in the world, but I have to remember that when I pray I will get a spiritual reward. This is so sweet, “Lord I want to continually turn to You!”.

As Nazarites, God uses us for His purpose, and this takes time: we need to give our lives to the Lord so that we can be useful to the Lord. We should make EVERY decision together with the Lord.

That way we can recognise His voice when it comes to making the big decisions in life. We can’t look to our friends for advice as this is leaning on the world, and Satan uses this to cause us to fall. All we need to do is lean on Christ! “Lord I can’t, but You can!”.

It is so great to see so many young people with a heart for the Lord! The meetings were full of life and enjoyment in Male Ciche at the conference, despite the large amount of rain. It’s great to have so many young Nazarites going through the same thing – it’s so important to be in the flow, in the church! Thank you Lord for the young people!
