We’re Human Seeds in the Process of being Sonized, Deified, Designated Sons of God

We are Human Seeds in the Process of being Sonized, Deified, Designated the Sons of God

In 2 Sam. 7 God promised David that his seed will be the Son of God and He will build God a house, in Rom. 1:3-4 that Christ as the seed of David according to the flesh was designated the Son of God in power in His resurrection, and in Rom. 8:28-29 the many believers in Christ as are being conformed to the image of Christ as the firstborn Son of God to express God corporately.

The seed of David becoming the Son of God speaks of the process of Christ’s being designated the firstborn Son of God by resurrection, and it also speaks of the process of our being designated the many sons of God by resurrection.

In His resurrection Christ brought His humanity into His divinity and was designated to be the firstborn Son of God; He was begotten by God in His humanity to be the Firstborn Son of God, and we as the many believers in Christ were also regenerated to be the many sons of God, the many brothers of Christ, to be the members of the Body of Christ.

We need to see this process of resurrection and remain in the process of being designated the sons of God. Through regeneration we have received the life of the Son of God in us – Christ’s life was implanted into our spirit and we became sons of God.

Now throughout our Christian life, we are in the process of being designated sons of God through the process of resurrection; just as Christ was designated Son of God in resurrection, so we are going through the process of death and resurrection to be designated sons of God.

Even though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day, and the divine life within us is growing, developing, and will ultimately blossom in resurrection to transfigure our body, making us the same as Christ is in life, nature, expression, and function, but not in the Godhead.

As we love the Lord, enjoy Him, and are infused with Him, we are being designated the sons of God by a change in life through the process of resurrection.

We’re Human Seeds in the Process of being Sonized, Deified, Designated the Sons of God

For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and through whom are all things, in leading many sons into glory, to make the Author of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of One, for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brothers. Heb. 2:10-11, Recovery Version BibleJesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, has already been designated the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness through His resurrection from the dead (Heb. 2:10-11; Rom. 1:3-4). Now we, the many sons of God regenerated by Him with the life of Christ in our spirit with His Spirit, we are going through the process of being designated sons of God.

We are human seeds who are now in the process of being deified, sonized, made sons of God the same as Christ is. He is our Elder brother, and He is the prototype; in His resurrection He imparted His life into us to regenerate us, and now He leads us as God’s many sons into glory.

One of the best ways to cooperate with the Lord and remain in the constant process of resurrection, being sonized, and being deified is by loving the Lord. As Rom. 8:28-29 says, all things work together for good to those who love Him; this good is becoming God in life and nature for His corporate expression for the fulfillment of God’s heart’s desire. All things happening to us are working together for good so that God would conform us to the image of His firstborn Son, Jesus Christ.

Millions of God-men are being conformed to the image of Christ, the First God-man, and God will obtain a mass reproduction of the prototype; this mass reproduction becomes the members of Christ – the members of the prototype – and consummates in the New Jerusalem as the consummate corporate expression of the Triune God! Praise the Lord!

All we have to do is to stay in the process of being designated sons of God and cooperate with the Lord as the One leading us into glory. Christ now is the life-giving Spirit infusing us with Himself as the resurrecting and sonizing resurrection life, and we become more and more like Him day by day.

Lord, keep us in the process of being sonized, deified, designated Sons of God! Thank You taking the lead and passing through death and resurrection to enter into glory and open the way for us all to enter into glory. Lord, make us Your reproduction and duplication: You are the prototype, and we are Your mass reproduction to be God’s corporate expression on earth, consummating in the New Jerusalem! We love You, Lord! We open to You! We give You the ground to operate in us and designate us sons of God!

Passing through the Process of Death and Resurrection to be Designated Sons of God

Rom. 8:29 Because those whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brothers. Holy Bible, Recovery Version

The Lord Jesus came as a grain of wheat, He fell into the ground and died, and in resurrection He reproduced Himself into millions of believers who are also grains of wheat passing through the process of death and resurrection to become the many sons of God in full (John 12:24-26).

Christ was designated the Son of God out of the resurrection of the dead (Rom. 1:4), and we will also be in the likeness of His resurrection (Rom. 6:5). As we share Christ’s resurrection, we undergo the process of being designated sons of God. Outwardly we may look just like the others, but as we go through death and resurrection, the divine life within us sprouts, grows, develops, and blossoms in full for the glory of God.

The life of the Son of God has been implanted into our spirit at the time of our regeneration, and now we must pass through the process of death and resurrection until this life will fully sonize us, designating us sons of God! Day by day, though our outer man is being consumed, yet our inner man is being renewed and the inner life grows, develops, and it will ultimately blossom at the time of the redemption, the glorification of our body – which is the full sonship (Rom. 8:29).

We need to cooperate with the Lord to be deified by not loving the flesh, the self, or the world but by loving the Lord. He is the Christ, the Son of the living God, the One anointed and appointed to dispense Himself as life into man, and He is the One qualified to build up His church by building Himself into us.

The way He builds His church is by first going through death (see Matt. 16:18-19) and entering into resurrection. We need to follow the Lord by denying our self, taking up our cross, following Him, and by not loving our soul life but loving the divine life in our spirit (John 12:24-26).

The key to being designated sons of God is denying the self, losing our soul life, bearing the cross, and loving the Lord with the first love. This takes us through the process of death and resurrection, and this leads to the building up of the church.

Another simple and very practical way for us to be saved from denying the Lord and not experiencing Him is to love Him and join Him in shepherding His sheep by allowing Him to flow through us for the building up of His Body by the infusion of the divine life (see John 21).

We need to cooperate with the Lord for the designating Spirit to be released through us into many others to bring forth the many brothers of Christ. The more we cooperate with the Lord by loving Him and shepherding others, the less we are for ourselves and the more we are for God’s economy.

In little ways here and there throughout the day we can release the living Christ from within us as good news, living a life of shepherding others for the sake of God’s economy, and living a life of blending.

To the self, the flesh, and the world we are dying, and our outer man is being consumed; but deep within, the inner life grows, develops, and eventually will blossom in resurrection (1 Cor. 15:31, 36; 2 Cor. 4:10-12, 16). Hallelujah!

Lord, keep us in the process of being designated the sons of God by a change in life through the process of death and resurrection. May Your divine life in our spirit grow, develop, and blossom in resurrection for the building up of Your Body and for the Father’s glory. Oh Lord, even though our outer man is daily decaying, yet we praise You that our inner man is being renewed day by day until we are full deified, designated the sons of God in full! Hallelujah! Lord, may we be those who deny the self, lose the soul life, not love the world, take up the cross daily, and are being constantly in the process of being sonized, designated the sons of God!

…we are designated the sons of God by a change in life through the process of resurrection. The day is coming when we shall reach the stage of “full blossom.” That will be the time of the redemption, the glorification, of our body, which is the full sonship (8:23). The life of the Son of God has been implanted into our spirit. Now we, like the carnation seed that is sown into the earth, must pass through the process of death and resurrection. This causes the outward man to be consumed, but it enables the inner life to grow, to develop, and, ultimately, to blossom. This is resurrection. Praise the Lord that we are daily being put to death so that we may share Christ’s resurrection in a practical way. Hallelujah, we shall be designated sons of God by resurrection! (Witness Lee, Life-study of Romans, pp. 552-553)

Amen. Lord Jesus, we love You, we open up our being to You, to give ourselves to love You more, by staying in the wonderful process of being sonized, deified and designation, through Your working and operating within us, sanctifying us through the washing of the water in the Word, to be as You are in life and nature, but not in the Godhead, the sons of God, the greater expression of Yourself within the Body of Christ. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Amen.
