with the Spirit the emphasis is that the Holy Spirit has been compounded to be our bountiful supply! As we go through the crucial elements of the Bible – which are Christ, the Spirit, life, and the church – we now come to the second element, which is The Spirit.

What is the emphasis when we speak about the Spirit? Many believers (and especially the unbelievers) think that the Spirit is a force, a power, a “Holy Ghost” of some sort.

But the Lord has been recovering from the Bible what the Spirit is to us today – the Spirit as revealed in the Bible is NOT ONLY the Holy Spirit of God, but through the processes that Christ went through, this Spirit has been compounded (as seen in the compound ointment in Exo. 30:23-25)!

When God became a man and lived a human life among us, the Spirit put on or was mingled with the human nature and the perfect human living. After His death, resurrection, and ascension, the Spirit was compounded with the all-inclusive death, the life-giving resurrection, and the all-transcending ascension!

The Spirit today is the consummation of the Triune God after passing through many processes – in this Spirit, we have the Father, the Son, and the Spirit, together with humanity, incarnation, human living, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension!

After the resurrection of Christ, when the Lord Jesus was glorified (John 7:39), the Holy Spirit became the Spirit of the incarnated, crucified, resurrected, and life-giving Jesus Christ – having both the divine element and the human element, including Christ’s divinity and humanity with all the essences and realities of His incarnation, human living, crucifixion, and resurrection.

Hallelujah, what a Spirit! This all-inclusive, compound, life-giving, transforming, renewing, and conforming Spirit today is the bountiful supply to the believers that they may accomplish God’s divine economy in the church (Phil 1:19). This Spirit is ready for us to drink and take in – to become our bountiful supply daily!

The emphasis when we come to the Spirit is that the Holy Spirit of God has been compounded with Christ’s divinity, humanity, crucifixion, and resurrection to be the compound, life-giving, indwelling, sanctifying, transforming, and sevenfold intensified Spirit (Exo. 30:23-25; 1 Cor. 15:45; Rom. 8:11; 2 Cor. 3:18; Rev. 4:5).

Because of the degradation of the church, the compound life-giving Spirit has been intensified sevenfold – to counteract the degradation! Now all the elements and the processes Christ went through, as included in this sevenfold intensified Spirit, have also been intensified, to produce us as the overcoming ones in the church!

The more we exercise our spirit to enjoy the Lord, the more His organic salvation is intensified, we are being supplied and strengthened within, and God’s economy is accomplished today in the church.

Today the Triune God in the church is a person, and Christ in us is also a person – the Triune God in the church and the Christ in us is the Spirit! What a Spirit! What a bountiful supply! We can enjoy Him today!

[sharing inspired from, The Four Crucial Elements of the Bible – Christ, the Spirit, life, and the Church (by brother Witness Lee) as quoted in the Morning Revival on The Crucial Elements of the Bible]

Lord, increase our appreciation and enjoyment of the compound Spirit! Thank You for being our bountiful supply today – that we may accomplish Your economy in the church. Save us from any degradation creeping in, Lord. Intensify Your organic salvation in us! Make us the overcoming ones, those who exercise their spirit every day to allow the sevenfold intensified Spirit to intensify His organic salvation! Bountifully supply us today, and richly save us more in Your life!
