Our all-inclusive Christ is the mystery of God, and for us to know Him, appreciate Him, and love Him as the mystery of God, our whole being needs to be exercised, for we must be comforted in our heart and our mind with all the parts of our inner being must be set on Him.
Lord Jesus, we love You! We set our whole being on You! Grant us to see a vision of who You are so that we may love You more! Amen!
Christ is indeed a mystery; He is the mystery of God. First of all, the whole universe is a mystery, and the mystery of the universe is God.
What is the meaning of the universe? We may study and appreciate the vastness of the universe, but unless we know that God is the meaning of the universe, everything is in vain.
God is the mystery of the universe. And God Himself is a mystery; we can’t see Him with our physical eyes, nor can we touch Him with our hands. The mystery of God, according to the Bible, is Christ.
Christ expresses God and manifests God. If we want to see God, we need to come to Christ. And when we come to Christ, we realise that Christ is also a mystery. The mystery of Christ, according to Ephesians, is the church.
In Matthew 16:16-18, the Lord Jesus asked His disciples who do men say that He is. Some said that He’s one of the prophets, while Peter, being inspired by God the Father, said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. What a revelation!
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the mystery of God. But the Lord Jesus didn’t stop here; He continued to say, I will build My church on this rock.
On the rock of the revelation of who Christ is, He is building His church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Amazing!
Once we see Christ as the mystery of God, He leads us to see the church as the mystery of Christ.
Together, Christ and the church are the great mystery. Actually, Christ and the church as the great mystery are the meaning of our human existence.
Why do we live on this earth? It is not only for God; we live here for Christ and the church. Our meaning in our human existence and living is for us to enjoy and receive Christ as our life and live Christ for the building up of the church as the Body of Christ.
When we partake of Christ as the mystery of God, we become the church as the mystery of Christ, and together, we and Christ, Christ and us as the church, are the great mystery. How wonderful!
The All-inclusive Christ is the Mystery of God – He’s the Definition, Explanation, and Expression of God, the Word of God

Colossians 2:2 tells us that Christ is the mystery of God; the all-inclusive Christ revealed in the Bible is the mystery of God.
First, God Himself is a mystery, and then Christ is the mystery of God; Christ is the mystery of the mystery.
The mystery of God indicates something incomprehensible and inexplicable. Amen! Christ is the mystery of God; the all-inclusive Christ is the definition, explanation, and expression of God, the Word of God.
John 1:1 tells us that in the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Then verse 14 tells us that the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us, full of grace and reality.
As the mystery of God, the all-inclusive, extensive Christ is the expression and definition of God as the Word of God.
Verse 18 further says that no one has ever seen God; however, the only begotten Son of God, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared Him.
Christ came to declare God, manifest God, and make God real to us.
How can we know God? He dwells in an inapproachable light, and no human being can see Him; however, He is expressed, explained, and manifested in Christ. Christ is the mystery of God.
He demonstrates God. He explains God. He defines God. He expresses God.
For instance, the Bible tells us that God is love; how can we know God as love, and how is God love? We simply need to look at the Lord Jesus; when He was on earth, He expressed God as love.
One time, He was walking on the road and there was a funeral procession, for the only son of a widow had died, and they were about to bury him.
The Lord Jesus expressed God as love in this instance by touching the bier and then raising this man and giving him back to his mother (Luke 7). This is love.
Unsolicited, He showed compassion, mercy, and love; He expressed and defined God as love. This is God as love.
Then there was another instance in which a woman was caught in adultery, and everyone around her knew that; they were about to stone her, but they asked the Lord what to do, what He thought about it.
On the one hand, Christ expressed God’s righteousness, for God is righteous; on the other hand, He expressed God as love.
His answer was, Let him who is without sin cast the first stone. This is God as love expressed through Jesus Christ, who is the mystery of God.
When those there heard the Lord’s word, they left, one by one, beginning from the older one to the younger one.
Then the Lord forgave her of her sins and sent her away to sin no more. This is God as love. To see who God is, what God is, and what is He like, we need to come to Jesus, for Christ is the mystery of God.
He is the definition, expression, and explanation of God; as the Word of God, He not only spoke God forth to express God in His speaking but even more, lived out God to manifest God and make God real to us.
The Lord’s human living was wonderful and mysterious, for He did not express Himself nor did He do His own work; He didn’t speak His own words, He didn’t seek His own glory, and He did not express what He was.
He simply expressed God, being fully one with God, and He defined God, manifested God, and explained God.
One time the Lord Jesus was in the temple and saw the money changers doing commerce in God’s house, and He was filled with the zeal of God’s house, which devoured Him, and He cast them all out.
This was God’s holiness expressed through the person of Christ. If we want to know God, we need to read the Gospels and we will see Christ as the mystery of God, expressing God, manifesting God, and making God real to us.
Lord Jesus, we open to You today. We want to know You as the mystery of God. Hallelujah, the all-inclusive Christ is the mystery of God! Amen, Lord, may we see this mystery today. May we realise that God is a mystery, and Christ is the mystery of this mystery! Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit as we come to Your word today so that we may see who God is. Hallelujah, God is light, life, holiness, and righteousness, and God is expressed through Christ! Wow, Christ expressed God, defined God, and explained God to us, for in His words and actions we see God manifested! Amen, Lord, we love You. We love You as the mystery of God. Grant us to see more of who You are as the mystery of God. May we see that the all-inclusive, extensive Christ is the definition, expression, and explanation of God! Hallelujah, Christ is the Word of God who was incarnated to be flesh to tabernacle among us, and of His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace! We love You, Lord Jesus!
Exercise every part of our Being to Know and Enjoy Christ as the Mystery of God

We, believers in Christ love the Lord Jesus and want to live in fellowship with Him throughout the day. However, how much we love the Lord and appreciate Him depends on how much we know Him and how much we realise concerning Him.
If we know the Lord only as our Saviour and Redeemer, we have a certain appreciation of Him; however, if we know Him as the mystery of God, as revealed in Colossians, we will have a higher appreciation of Him and we will love Him more.
We need to go on to know the Lord not only as our Saviour and Lord but even more, as the mystery of God.
Colossians 2:2 doesn’t merely tell us that Christ is the mystery of God; rather, it says, That their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love and unto all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, unto the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ.
Wow, before we can have the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ, our whole being must be exercised and prepared!
When our hearts are comforted, when we are knit together in love, the result will be all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, an understanding that is related to the mystery of God, Christ.
As seen in Ephesians 3:3 and 9, we can see the mystery of God, Christ, only by exercising our spirit; our human spirit is vital and crucial in seeing Christ as the mystery of God.
But Colossians also shows us that every part of our being – our spirit, our soul, and our body – needs to be exercised and focused on Christ if we want to know Him as the mystery of God.
Our being, our entire human being, is very complicated; if we simply look in the mirror at our face, we will realise how complex our face is, and how amazing and wonderful our body is.
Even more, if we look at ourselves, inwardly, we will realise that our soul is so complicated, for we have the mind, the emotion, and the will, and there are many thoughts, considerations, decisions, and feelings in us.
Our inner being is very complex, and we don’t fully know ourselves. Furthermore, we also have a human spirit having the conscience, the intuition, and the fellowship.
Every part of our human being is complex; for us to know and enjoy Christ as the mystery of God, we need to exercise every part of our being.
God is a mystery; however, He is revealed in Christ, who is the mystery of God. Christ as the mystery of God is the mystery of the mystery.
How can we apprehend or enjoy such a mystery of a mystery? It is not only by reading the letter of the Scriptures; our entire being must be exercised and focused on the Lord.
As believers in Christ, we have Christ dwelling in our spirit (Gal. 4:22; 2 Tim. 4:22); when we exercise our spirit, we contact Christ as the Spirit indwelling us.
Christ is not something merely objective or outward which we can know by outward acts or events; He is an inward person, and we can know Him inwardly by exercising our spirit.
When we exercise our spirit and turn our heart to the Lord (2 Cor. 3:16) as we come to His word, we realise that He is the crucified and resurrected One who is living both on the throne in the heavens and in our spirit as well.
To know such a One, we need to open to Him from the depths of our being and call on His name. Oh Lord Jesus!
When we call on the name of the Lord from the depths of our being, when we exercise our spirit to call on the name of Jesus, we know Him and appreciate Him in our spirit.
May we learn to exercise our spirit by opening the deepest part of our being to call on the name of the Lord Jesus!
As we do this, we contact Him as the living One in us. He indwells us, for He is in our spirit; however, we need to open to Him from deep within!
But this is not enough; on the one hand, we need to exercise our spirit to call on the Lord from deep within, and on the other hand, we need to have our heart turned to Him (Acts 2:21)!
Our heart must be cherished and warmed to be open to the Lord. Our mind must be sober, our emotion needs to be balanced and regulated, and our will must be subdued.
Our whole inner being needs to be exercised to contact the Lord and know Christ as the mystery of God. We need to ask the Lord to comfort our hearts and grant us the full knowledge of Christ as the mystery of God.
If we want to have all the riches of the full assurance of understanding concerning the mystery of Christ, every part of our being needs to be exercised.
Even our body needs to be exercised, not sleepy or lying down, but focused on contacting the Lord in His word. May we be such ones today.
May we see Christ as the mystery of God so that we may know and appreciate Him and therefore love Him and even live Him to be the mystery of Christ, the church!
Lord Jesus, we set our whole being on You. We exercise our spirit to call on Your name from deep within. Oh Lord Jesus! Looooord Jeeesuuuuus! We call on Your name and we exercise to contact You! Amen, Lord, we turn our heart to You. Comfort our heart. Cherish our hearts and cause us to turn our heart to You! We love You, Lord, and we open to you! May we be knit together in love and unto all the riches of the full assurance of understanding! Bring us to the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ! Oh Lord, may we see You and know You as the mystery of God. May we have the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ. We set our whole being on You. We exercise our spirit and our soul to just focus on You! Lord Jesus, apart from you we have no heart for anything else! You are the most lovely One! Oh Lord, our mind, will, and emotion are absolutely for You! We’re willing to lay down even our life for You! We love You and we want to know You more! We appreciate You and we give ourselves to You, for every fibre of our being is for You!

Dear brother, how much we love the Lord depends on how much we know Him and how much we realise concerning Him.
The more we know Him, the more we realise concerning Him, the more we love Him and appreciate Him.
We need to know Christ as the mystery of God; for this, our heart needs to be comforted, we need to be knit together in love and unto the full assurance of understanding.
Our whole being needs to be exercised and set on Him.
Aaameeen!
As the crucified and resurrected One, He is living both on the throne in the heavens and in our spirit as well.
Hence, we need to exercise our spirit to contact Him; we must open up from the depths of our being and call on Him!! Amen!!
Amen, it requires all three parts of our uplifted being to appreciate the mystery of God in Christ.
Our spirit to experience Him, our soul to enjoy Him, and our body to serve and live Him out. Amen
Dear brother, how much we love the Lord depends on how much we know Him and how much we realise concerning Him.
Therefore, we need to know the Lord not only as our Saviour & Lord but also as the mystery of God. God is a mystery, and Christ is the mystery of this mystery.
To know Christ as the mystery of God requires the exercise of our spirit, of our conscience, intuition & communion with God and with one another.
We cannot truly know Jesus in an outward way. May we call on His name and contact Him as the living One within us.
Whilst our heart needs to be cherished & warmed, our mind needs to be sober, our emotions must be regulated, and our will must be subdued.
Every part of our being needs to be exercised.
If we consecrate our mind, will & emotions to the Lord, asking Him each day to comfort & warm our heart for Him and for His Body; if we exercise our whole being, we will have the full assurance of understanding.
Brother, We should be able to say,
If you exercise your whole being in this way, you will have the full assurance of understanding.

Amen, to have the full assurance of understanding and knowing the Lord is to exercise our spirit to open the deepest part of our being to Him.
Every part of our mind, emotion, and will needs to be for Him.
May this hymn supply us and enlighten us to give all praise and glory to Christ, who is all-inclusive and all-sufficient in all.
In the beginning was the Word,
And the Word was with God,
And the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God [and]
All things came into being through Him,
And apart from Him not one thing
came into being which has come into being.
In Him was life,
And the life was the light of men.
And the light shines in the darkness,
And the darkness did not overcome it.
In Him was life,
And the life was the light of men.
And the light shines in the darkness,
And the darkness did not overcome it.

If we are to know the Lord Jesus as the mystery of God and our Saviour, we must exercise our spirit, open to the One who is in the heavens and indwelling our spirit, our mind needs to be sober, our emotions need to be regulated and our will subdued for our entire being to be open to give ourselves fully to Him.

Ameen. Lord Jesus we love You. To know Him is to love Him.
When we love Him and enjoy Him the more we know Him. The more we know Him, the more we love Him. This requires that we must exercise our spirit and also our heart.
Our spirit needs to be strengthened and to have our heart comforted.
This means that our heart must be cherished, warmed. Moreover, our mind must be sober, our emotion must be regulated, and our will must be subdued. Every part of our inner being must be proper and function in a normal way.
Oh Mystery of God we love You.
