Experience the Inscribing Spirit and the Life-giving Spirit to be New Covenant Ministers

Who has also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant... 2 Cor. 3:6

As believers in Christ we are being constituted to be ministers of the new covenant, we need to experience the inscribing Spirit writing Christ into us to make us living letters of Christ and the life-giving Spirit, the vivifying Spirit, who imparts the divine life into us to make us men of life with the ministry of life. Hallelujah!

Thank the Lord that He not only saved us with His life but even more, He is perfecting us to be ministers of the new covenant.

He has given us a ministry, which is of the Spirit and of life, not of law or of death. As we live our Christian life and church life, we want to open to the Lord to be constituted as ministers of the new covenant for the building up of the Body of Christ.

For this, we need to experience all the wonderful aspects of Christ as the all-inclusive Spirit as seen in the book of 2 Corinthians.

In 2 Corinthians Paul presents his life, living, and ministry before the saints, showing us an autobiography of a person in the spirit.

On the one hand, there are many persecutions, sufferings, and even the danger of death, and the response in the being of the apostles was death, for they couldn’t see a way out. On the other hand, as ministers of the new covenant, the apostles experienced the wonderful, all-inclusive Christ as the Spirit for the building up of the church.

In the midst of the trials, imprisonment, persecution, danger of death, and difficulties, Paul and the apostles with him experienced the all-inclusive Spirit, and they became ministers of the new covenant. The result was not complaining about the harsh situation and terrible environment but a rich flow of life.

What we sense from Paul’s writings is no pity for himself or an appeal for prayer for his situation to get better but a rich flow of life, the Triune God in Christ flowing as the all-inclusive Spirit for the saints to drink, be constituted iwth, and be built up together as the Body of Christ.

The first aspect of the Spirit is the anointing Spirit; God joined us to the anointed One, Christ, and the Spirit anoints us for our work.

The anointing within us guides us in all things so that we may know Christ subjectively and intimately.

The second aspect of the all-inclusive Spirit is the sealing Spirit; the Spirit seals us to conform us to the image of Christ. The third aspect of the Spirit is the pledging Spirit; the Spirit has been given to us as a pledge, as the pledge of our inheritance. Praise the Lord for the wonderful Spirit in us!

Experience the Inscribing Spirit who Writes Christ into us to make us Living Letters of Christ

Since you are being manifested that you are a letter of Christ ministered by us, inscribed not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone but in tablets of hearts of flesh. 2 Cor. 3:3

In 2 Cor. 3:3 we see that the Corinthian believers were being manifested as a letter of Christ ministered by the apostles, inscribed not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not in tablets of stone but in tablets of hearts of flesh.

Here we see that the Spirit is the inscribing Spirit; the Spirit writes Christ into us to make us living letters of Christ (Psa. 45:1).

Hallelujah, we are living letters of Christ! Christ writes Himself onto the tablets of our heart of flesh, and the ink used to write Himself into us is the inscribing Spirit, the Spirit of the living God.

Wow, the Spirit is the living ink God uses to write Christ into us to make us living letters of Christ! God doesn’t just inscribe us with Christ initially, at the time of our regeneration; He writes Christ as the Spirit into us all the time.

Christ is being inscribed into us with the spiritual ink, the Spirit of the living God; if we are daily under the Spirit’s inscribing, we have the deep sensation that we are living within.

Hallelujah, we are daily under the Lord’s inscribing! Especially as we come to the Lord’s word day by day, opening to Him by turning our heart to Him and exercising our spirit, there’s an inscribing going on, for the inscribing Spirit operates in us to write Christ in our being.

As we go through our daily living and turn to our spirit to contact the Lord again and again, there is more inscribing going on.

As we meet with the saints and allow the Lord to touch us and speak to us through the saints, we are being inscribed by the inscribing Spirit. God wants to inscribe Himself in our mind, emotion, and will.

He writes His laws upon our heart, and He renews our mind by writing Himself as the living law of life in us. This is why we need to spend time with the Lord in a personal way day by day, and we also need to be in the meetings of the church.

My heart overflows with a good matter; / I speak what I have composed concerning the King. / My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Psa. 45:1When we spend time with the Lord, God has a way to inscribe us with the living ink of the Spirit to make us living letters of Christ.

When we meet with the saints and turn our heart to the Lord, the inscribing Spirit operates to write more of Christ into us.

Many times we are in the meetings of the church and we feel the Lord speaking to us through a particular member of the Body. When we are in the ministry meetings and open to the Lord, He has a way to inscribe more of Himself onto the tablet of our heart.

Hallelujah, we become living letters of Christ, read by all men, for others to see Christ in us! The Spirit is the ink, and the content of the ink is Christ with His person, work, and attainments.

God is the inscriber, Christ is the final product – the living letter, and the Spirit is the ink used to inscribe.

The entire Triune God works together to inscribe Christ into our being to make us living letters of Christ.

May we learn to open to the Lord day by day and allow Him as the inscribing Spirit to operate in us, even to write Himself upon us, inscribing us to make us living letters of Christ.

When others see us, may they see Christ. Christ needs to be expressed in us and read by all men. And may we cooperate with the Lord to not only have the inscribing Spirit write Christ into us but even more, we would inscribe others with Christ, cooperating with Christ to write Christ into others.

Lord Jesus, we want to experience the inscribing Spirit today. Inscribe Yourself into us. May we be manifested to be a letter of Christ ministered by the saints and the serving ones, being read by all men! Amen, Lord, write Yourself onto us! We open to You! We come to You in Your word and we turn our heart to You as we read the Bible. May the inscribing Spirit operate in us to write Christ on us. Hallelujah, the inscribing Spirit writes Christ into us to make us the living letters of Christ! Wow, Christ is being inscribed into us with the spiritual ink, the Spirit of the living God! Amen, Lord, we turn our heart to You; may our heart be the tablet that is inscribed with Christ! May Christ be inscribed in us so that others may read Christ and see Christ in us. How wonderful it is to be under the Spirit’s inscribing! Amen, when we’re inscribed with Christ, we have the deep sensation of being living within! Yes, Lord, may Your person, work, and attainments be wrought into us so that we may have the substance of Christ and be saturated with the essence of Christ!

Experience the Life-giving Spirit as the Vivifying Spirit Imparting the Divine Life into our being to make us Men of Life with the Ministry of Life

Who has also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant, [ministers] not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 2 Cor. 3:6

2 Cor. 3:6 says that God made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant, ministers not of the letter but of the Spirit, for the letter kills but the Spirit gives life. Amen!

Our sufficiency as ministers of the new covenant is not from us but from God; He is our sufficiency.

The Spirit is the living Spirit, the life-giving Spirit; we are ministers of the Spirit by enjoying and experiencing the vivifying Spirit in our daily life.

When we come to the Word of God, we need to come to the Lord as the life-giving Spirit.

If we come to the Bible only to get knowledge, not turning our hearts to the Lord, we get only letters, and the letter kills. But when we exercise our spirit and turn our heart to the Lord as we come to His word, the Spirit inwardly imparts life into us.

Indeed unto this day, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart; But whenever [their][ heart] turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. And the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. But we all with unveiled face, beholding and reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord... 2 Cor. 3:16-18May we always return to our spirit, for it is in our spirit that we sense and experience the imparting of life.

May we exercise our spirit in all things, both in reading the Bible and throughout the day so that we may have the inscribing Spirit operate in us and the life-giving Spirit impart life into all the parts of our inner being.

In particular, we need to learn to exercise our spirit when we come to God’s word.

In 2 Cor. 3:16-18 Paul tells us that a veil lies on the heart of the Jewish people whenever the law is read, for their heart is not turned to the Lord.

But whenever our heart turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. When we read the Bible, we need to cooperate with the Lord to remove any veil from our eyes.

When we read the Bible, we should not only read it so that we understand it but even more, we need to exercise our spirit to receive the Spirit in God’s word.

If our eyes are veiled, if we only come to the word of God to get more knowledge, we will not receive the Spirit and life, but rather, the letter kills.

Wow, we can read the Bible and we can get death! Many Christians today are this way; whenever they read the Bible, a veil lies over their eyes.

They do not get life in God’s word; rather, they get more knowledge, and they receive more commandments to keep. Oh Lord Jesus! May we experience the life-giving Spirit day by day, especially as we come to God’s word.

May we experience the vivifying Spirit who imparts the divine life into our being to make us men of life with the ministry of life (2 Cor. 3:6, 17; John 7:38).

When we study and read the Bible prayerfully with the exercise of our spirit, we are vivified. When we exercise our spirit over the word of God in our reading, the written word in the Bible becomes living, and we receive the Spirit and life.

This is something we need to experience again and again. It is pitiful for us to come to the Word and just get doctrines, teachings, and commandments.

May all the veils of our old knowledge of old doctrines be removed, and may we be fully unveiled to see the Lord face to face and be infused with Him! May we care just for the Spirit, not for any doctrinal teaching.

In our reading of the Bible, we need to exercise our spirit to pray over God’s word so that we may have a deep sense that something within us is flowing, quickening, enlightening, and strengthening.

The Spirit in our spirit is the vivifying Spirit; when we read the Word prayerfully, we are vivified! Amen, the divine life is imparted into our being when we read the word with much prayer!

But if we don’t contact the Lord when we come to His word, the words in the Bible can become a written code to us, dead doctrines, something that is of the letter and ordinances, which can kill us. Oh Lord Jesus!

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words which I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. John 6:63 He who believes into Me, as the Scripture said, out of his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:38May we learn to turn. May we learn to pray-read the Word of God in a living way, not being killed when we come to God’s word but experience the vivifying Spirit who gives us life! What we need is not more knowledge or doctrines; what we need is more life.

We need more of God’s life to be dispensed into us. However, whether we are vivified or mortified when we come to God’s word depends on the way we take to read the Bible.

God in Christ as the Spirit is embodied in the Word of God, and when we come to God’s word, we care for the living Spirit and not for dead knowledge or doctrines.

The Spirit is not a doctrine; the Spirit is the life-giving Spirit, the Spirit of reality! The more we contact the Lord as the Spirit, the more we receive the divine life!

On the one hand, we read and study the word of God prayerfully with the exercise of our spirit so that we may be filled with life, for the life-giving Spirit vivifies us.

On the other hand, as ministers of the new covenant, we exercise speaking the word of God to others and imparting life into them.

For us to be those who can give life to others, we must abide in the divine life and we must walk, live, and have our being in the divine life (1 John 5:16).

We exercise to speak the word of God in a living way, releasing our spirit, so that others may receive not dead knowledge or doctrines but Spirit and life.

Lord Jesus, we want to enjoy and experience You as the life-giving Spirit today! We open to You to be infused with You as life. Hallelujah, the vivifying Spirit is in our spirit to impart the divine life into every part of our being. We come to You in Your word, dear Lord Jesus, with the exercise of our spirit. We exercise our spirit and we read and pray Your word so that Your word may become spirit and life to us. Oh Lord, save us from coming to Your word only to get more knowledge and doctrines. May we learn to read the Bible prayerfully with the exercise of our spirit so that we may receive more of the Spirit and life! Hallelujah, when we study and read the Bible prayerfully with the exercise of our spirit, we are vivified! Amen, Lord, we choose to enjoy You as life in Your word! We want to be those who give life to others, so we abide in the divine life today. We want to live, walk, and have our whole being in the divine life so that we may minister this divine life into others also!
