Because our heart is changeable, we need to allow God to establish our heart blameless in holiness, and we need to be renewed continually in our heart by the sanctifying Spirit so that our heart may be established and built up in a state of being holy.
Amen, Lord, we turn our heart to You! We open to You and we allow You to establish our heart! Establish our heart blameless in holiness today! We love You, Lord Jesus! Amen!
Our heart is very important, for, according to Proverbs 4:23, from it are the issues of life. Our spirit is life, for God in Christ as the Spirit has come into our spirit to make our spirit life (Rom. 8:10).
Wow, a third part of our being, even our innermost part, is life, and whenever we set our mind on our spirit, even our mind becomes life (v. 6)! Praise the Lord!
However, our heart has many problems, and unless we deal with our heart, we cannot really enjoy God as life.
Yes, we may experience God in spirit, but what about our enjoyment of God as life?
Our heart is the organ for us to enjoy; we need to have a heart that is established by God, even a heart that is inclined toward Him to enjoy Him.
Our heart is the entrance and exit of life; if our heart is right, if our heart is turned to the Lord, life will flow in and out of our innermost being.
But if our heart is sad, if our heart is not comforted, if our heart is not turned toward the Lord, the flow of life is stopped.
Even though the divine life in our spirit has a great power, even to transform us and conform us to the image of Christ, unless our heart is proper, this great power is hindered and frustrated. Oh Lord Jesus, our heart!
The law of life is in our spirit, for the Spirit of life is joined to our spirit as one spirit; this law of life can deliver us from the law of sin and of death in our members.
Wow, we can be delivered from the law of sin and of death simply by turning to our spirit and also by turning our heart to the Lord!
May we learn to turn our heart to the Lord day by day, even all throughout the day.
May we allow the Lord to establish our heart blameless in holiness so that we may have a steadfast heart, a heart that is set on the Lord!
May our heart no longer be a hindrance to the flow of life in us but rather, may it love the Lord and allow Him to flow in and out of our innermost being! Amen!
Our Heart is Changeable: we need God to Establish our heart Blameless in Holiness

The only unchanging and unchangeable One in this universe is God; we, on the other hand, are changeable, for according to our natural birth our heart is changeable (2 Tim. 4:10; Matt. 13:3-9, 18-23).
What God wants is that our heart would be established blameless in holiness so that we would live a holy life for the church life.
But before He can do this in us, we need to see that our heart is changeable. Our heart is unstable. Our heart is incurably wicked and fickle.
Our heart is alterable. Our heart is not set; rather, it is all over the place. Our heart is like fly paper, always getting stuck to all kinds of things around us.
All of us are like this. We may be calm for a while, but then something happens or someone says something, and our heart changes.
We may even pray and read over the word of God, and then we look at something and our heart changes, and we need to come back to the Lord again and again.
We need a heart that is solidly established; our heart is changeable, so we need God to establish our heart blameless in holiness (1 Thes. 3:13).
We may have a good time with the Lord in the morning, and after that, at breakfast time with our spouse, he or she may say something, and our heart changes. Oh Lord!
Even in the work of the Lord, our heart can change. Paul spoke of Demas, who was one of his co-workers; something along the line, as he was serving, he loved the present age, and he left the co-workers.
Wow, even a co-worker’s heart can change! We really cannot trust our heart. Our heart is changeable.
Sometimes it is up, and many times it is down; sometimes it loves the Lord, but then it is distracted by loving other things.
If our heart is not established blameless in holiness, our heart goes this way and that way.
There is no one who, according to his natural, human life, is steadfast in his heart; because our heart changes so easily, it is not at all trustworthy (Jer. 17:9-10; 13:23).
Only God is unchangeable, for He never changes. We need God to establish our heart blameless in holiness.
Our heart is changeable both in relationship with things, with events, and with people, and also in our relationship with the Lord.
We are so changeable! But the Lord wants us to have a steadfast heart. A steadfast heart is a heart that does not change, no matter the environment, the temptation, or the people around us.
But our heart is not there yet; as Jeremiah says, our heart is deceitful above all things. Our heart deceives us. Our heart tricks us; our heart often lies to us and cheats us.
May we pray that the Lord would search our heart, test our inward parts, and establish our heart blameless in holiness.
Only the Lord can see our heart; only He can discern what our heart is like, and only He can establish our heart blameless.
As we grow older humanly, our heart is still changeable; our heart never changes.
We may be with some saints for a while and we may get along very well, but then something changes in their heart or in our heart, and suddenly we cannot get along well.
We may be with some saints in the church life for many years, but something may change in their heart and they stop meeting; though we know them and love them, because their heart have changed, it is not easy to fellowship with them. Oh Lord!
Our heart needs to be set, built up, and established upon a solid foundation of being holy. We need to have an unchanging heart.
We cannot criticise others for having a changing heart and for being changeable in their heart, for we ourselves are the same.
In our natural life, we are changeable. And when we speak of changeable, we mainly refer to negative things, not to our heart changing for the better. Oh Lord Jesus!
Because our heart is changeable, it is blamable; an unchanging heart is a blameless heart (Psa. 57:7; 108:1; 112:7).
May we be like the psalmist one day saying, Lord, my heart is steadfast, for my heart is fixed on You! May our heart rest in the Lord, trust in the Lord, and be fixed on the Lord.
May we pray in this way. Especially as we sense that our heart changes, as we see things happening and sense something rising up in us, we need to turn our heart to the Lord and ask Him to establish our heart blameless in holiness.
Lord Jesus, we turn our heart to You. Shine on us, Lord, and search our heart. Search our heart and test our inward parts. Cause us to see how changeable our heart is. Oh Lord Jesus, establish our heart blameless in holiness. May we realise how wicked and deceitful our heart is and may we never trust our heart! Oh Lord Jesus, cause our heart to turn to You! Establish our heart blameless in holiness today. Search our heart, dear Lord. Only You can discern what kind of heart we have. We don’t know our heart. Only You can see our heart. We don’t even know where our heart is; we simply come to You! We give You the ground and the cooperation You need. Oh Lord Jesus, we give our heart to You! We give ourselves to You to just enjoy You! We do not trust in our heart but rather, we turn our heart to You! Amen, Lord, incline our heart toward You! Incline our heart to seek You! Establish our heart, build it up, and cause it to be blameless in holiness!
We need to be Continually Renewed in our Heart by the Sanctifying Spirit because our Heart is Changeable

If we think we know our heart, we are deceived; our heart is not only changeable but also deceitful. Today we may feel good about one thing, but tomorrow our heart may change, and we may hate that thing.
We experience this especially in married life; we may love our spouse to the uttermost when we marry them, but after a few years, we may be so disappointed with them that our heart no longer loves them. Oh Lord!
Our heart is blamable because it is changeable; only an unchanging heart is a blameless heart.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 tells us that, in His new covenant, God will give us a new heart, and a new spirit He will put within us.
He will take away the heart of stone out of our flesh and He will give us a heart of flesh. And He will put His Spirit within us and cause us to walk in His statutes, and His ordinances we shall keep and do. How wonderful!
When we were regenerated, this is what happened in us and with us. The Lord came into our spirit to regenerate our spirit, and He also gave us a new heart to love Him and seek Him. Hallelujah!
In God’s salvation, the renewing of our heart is once for all; however, in our experience, our heart needs to be renewed continually because it is changeable (Ezek. 36:26; 2 Cor. 4:16).
Because our heart is changeable, even after we are saved, our heart needs to be renewed all the time.
On His side, God wants us to be renewed and He arranges all kinds of things, people, situations, matters, and environments to be our portion, and there’s a certain amount of suffering and dealings.
On our side, though we experience this affliction and suffering, we need to keep turning our heart to the Lord and allow Him to renew us, even to establish our heart blameless in holiness.
Our heart needs to be continually renewed in our experience. This is a process. This process takes a lifetime.
We are not renewed in our heart overnight, nor can our heart become steadfast in a short period of time.
Because our heart is changeable, it needs to be renewed continually by the sanctifying Spirit so that our heart can be established, built up, in the state of being holy (Titus 3:5; Rom. 6:19, 22).
Our heart is changeable. We need to be continually renewed in our heart by the Spirit so that our heart may be established blameless in holiness.
Our heart needs to be established, built up, in the state of being holy, the state of being separated unto God, occupied by God, and saturated with God.
God doesn’t want to improve our heart or cause it to be better; He wants to renew our heart by the sanctifying Spirit so that our heart may be established.
May we cooperate with the Lord daily to be renewed in our heart. May we learn to turn our heart to the Lord and ask Him to cause our heart to turn to Him.
May we never trust our heart but rather, open to the Lord and let Him establish our heart.
There’s a renewing work going on in our being, a work done by the sanctifying Spirit, whereby our heart is established, built up, in holiness, being separated unto God and also saturated with God.
God wants not only to separate our heart unto Himself but even more, saturate our heart with His element.
He wants to renew our mind so that our mind becomes the mind of Christ. He wants to subdue our will so that we may be one with His will.
He wants to cause our emotions to be balanced and pure so that we are one with Him in His love. May we realise how changeable our heart is and may we allow the Lord to renew our heart day by day!
Lord Jesus, thank You for giving us a new heart and a new spirit at the time of our regeneration! Hallelujah, God takes away the heart of stone and gives us a heart of flesh for us to love Him and seek after Him. Amen, Lord, thank You for our new heart. May we be continually renewed in our heart day by day. Oh Lord, because our heart is so changeable, we open to Your continual renewing work. May our heart be established blameless in holiness. May our heart be established, built up, in the state of being holy! Amen, Lord, may our heart be in the state of being separated unto God, occupied by God, possessed by God, and saturated with God! We open to You today. We turn our heart to You. Cause our heart to turn to You. You know our heart. You know our desires, thoughts, feelings, and decisions. We just open to You. Keep us turning to You. Keep us turning our heart to You so that we may behold You and be infused with You! Amen, Lord Jesus, may the sanctifying Spirit continually renew our heart!

Life-study of 1 Thessalonians, p. 175, by Witness Lee
Our heart is changeable and fickle. Today it loves the Lord but tomorrow it is turned away from Him. Because it is changeable, our heart is blamable. Oh Lord.
The Lord wants to establish our heart blameless in holiness. May we turn our heart to Him today and let Him establish it.
We need to realize and admit our heart is changeable. Therefore, we need the mercy and grace from the Lord that we may give Him the permission to establish our heart.
Amen. Oh Lord Jesus…establish our heart!
Amen brother. We need a heart that is solidly established.
This is a crucial need because in our natural man our heart is changeable towards God and towards other people.
The Lord is waiting for our permission before He will work within us and establish our heart.
May we freely confess that we have a changeable heart and that we need mercy & grace from Jesus.
They are changeable. We need a heart that is set, built up, solidly established and blameless.
Today is 315 days into the year, and there are 50 days left to end it.
Since, according to our natural birth, our heart is changeable – differing in how we react to our wives from one moment to the next – it needs to be established blameless in holiness by our God, who is the unchangeable one.
He has given us a new heart and a new spirit to be steadfast, but such a heart needs to be renewed continually.
