Live by God’s Life and Nature to be the Peacemakers today, those called Sons of God

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. Matt. 5:9

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God (Matt. 5:9); we believers in Christ have God as our Father, and He is the God of peace, so we as kingdom people have a peaceful life with a peaceful nature, bringing peace and making peace wherever we are, for we live according to God’s nature in us.

Amen, Lord Jesus, thank You for being our Peacemaker. Thank You for coming and making peace. You are our peace. You made peace. You are in us as the One who arbitrates in our heart to make peace in our being. We want to live one spirit with You today to be true sons of God, those who are peacemakers! Amen, Lord, be expressed through us today! Amen!

We have seen the blessedness of being poor in spirit and pure in heart, and this week we are enjoying the blessedness of being those who mourn, of those who are meek, and of those who are the peacemakers.

On the one hand, we are poor in spirit, emptying ourselves continually so that we may be filled with God continually.

This is what kingdom people do; they don’t allow themselves to be filled and complacent; they don’t rely on the Christ they enjoyed and experienced in the past.

Rather, they continually empty themselves so that the Lord would fill them afresh. Then, they deal with their heart so that they may be pure in heart in seeking the Lord.

As those poor in spirit and pure in heart, we see that the Lord’s interest today is neglected, God is opposed, and even we ourselves are not in a good condition before the Lord.

So we mourn over the situation, praying before the Lord concerning all these matters.

This makes us meek people; we don’t become people who take action and do great works outwardly for God, but we are meek, for the Lord Himself is meek.

Christ is the One who is meek and lowly in heart, and we come to Him and learn from Him. He is meek, we learn from Him, and He lives in us; He is expressing Himself through us as the meek one, and the more we spend time with Him, the more meek we are.

To be meek means that we don’t fight for our rights, we don’t resist those who oppose us, and we don’t mind when others take things from us.

This is possible only when we live by the divine life in our spirit so that the humanity of Jesus may be expressed through us! Amen!

Today we want to see the blessedness of being a peacemaker; the peacemakers will be called the sons of God. Amen!

Blessed are the Peacemakers, for They Shall be Called the Sons of God!

If possible, as far as it depends on you, live in peace with all men. Rom. 12:18

Verse 9 in Matthew 5 says, Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. Everywhere we turn and look around us, there is no peace.

Satan is the rebellious one, and he instigates all rebellion and all fighting. For the kingdom of God to be manifested, peace is the necessary condition.

Jerusalem means the city of peace; the New Jerusalem is the city of peace. The kingdom cannot stand if peace is absent. As kingdom people, we need to be peacemakers; we are required to be peacemakers.

Because Satan as the rebellious one instigates rebellion and fighting, we need to be one with the Lord, who is our peace, to be peacemakers.

Pursue peace with all men and sanctification, without which no one will see the Lord. Heb. 12:14 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen. Rom. 15:33 Now the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. Rom. 16:20Satan causes trouble, puts wedges between people, brings in conflict, and causes strife and struggle. However, we as kingdom people allow the peace of Christ to arbitrate in our heart (Col. 3:15) and give preeminence to the peace of Christ.

As kingdom people, one of the top characteristics of our living in the kingdom is that we make peace; we don’t make trouble but peace.

We shouldn’t make trouble or disturbances; we should make peace. For the kingdom of the heavens, under its heavenly ruling, we must be those who make peace among men (Heb. 12:14).

We pursue peace with all men and sanctification, without which no one will see the Lord. We do this because our heavenly Father is the God of peace (Rom. 15:33; 16:20); our nature is a peaceful nature, a peaceable nature, a nature of peace.

We have a peaceful life with a peaceful nature in our spirit. As those born of God, if we would be peacemakers, we must walk in His divine life and according to His divine nature.

This is how we can be peacemakers: only by walking according to the divine life and nature of our heavenly Father.

It is not by political agreement, outward arrangement, or peace negotiations; we make peace and bring in peace wherever we go by walking in the Father’s life and nature.

Our God is a God of peace; He is peace itself, and His life is peace, His nature is peace, and we as His children are peacemakers. In the church life and in the Lord’s work, we must maintain this peace. If peace is disturbed, rebellion comes in, division comes in, and Satan has a way among us.

The apostle Paul began most of his epistles with grace and peace. Grace is the supply and peace is the condition in which we can grow in life and practice being in the reality of the kingdom of the heavens.

We believers in Christ are kingdom people, those who are strict with ourselves, merciful to others, and pure in heart toward God; as such ones, we are peacemakers.

We don’t like or want to offend, hurt, or damage anyone. This doesn’t mean that we are political, which is a falsehood and hypocrisy; our very nature is peaceful. We must be righteously square, even as the New Jerusalem is square, and not politically round.

And you, though once alienated and enemies in your mind because of your evil works. Col. 1:21 He who believes into the Son has eternal life; but he who disobeys the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides upon him. John 3:36If we are righteous with ourselves, pure toward God, and merciful toward others, we will be those who make peace – we will be peacemakers.

We will not fight with others nor will we hurt them; rather, we will maintain peace with those with whom we are involved. All sons of men fight with each other, and there’s fighting even within a human being.

But we sons of God live according to the life and nature of our heavenly Father, and in this way we express Him and are peacemakers; therefore, we are called sons of God.

As Romans 12:18 says, as far as it depends on us, we should live in peace with all men. Living according to the divine life and nature makes us strict with ourselves, merciful with others, and pure with God; spontaneously, we will keep the peace with others.

They will see us and observe us, and they will say that we are truly the sons of God, for we are peacemakers like our heavenly Father.

Just as God is the peacemaker, for His very nature is peace, when we live according to His nature, we become peacemakers, and others will not call us peacemakers – they will call us the sons of God.

We will be in reality the many brothers of Christ, our elder Brother who came to make peace, and we will express our Father’s life and nature in peace.

In this way we express the life and nature of God and we are called the sons of God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God!

Lord Jesus, we want to enjoy the blessedness of being peacemakers so that we may be called the sons of God! Hallelujah, we are kingdom people, people of the kingdom of God who live according to our Father’s divine life and nature. Amen, Lord, may we be those who are strict with themselves, merciful to others, and pure toward God so that we may be the peacemakers today. May we live according to the divine life and nature of our Father so that we may make peace and bring in peace. Amen, Lord, may we not be those who fight with others or hurt them but who always maintain peace with those with whom we are involved. Hallelujah, our Father is the God of peace, having a peaceful life with a peaceful nature. Thank You, Lord, we are born of God, and we can walk in His divine life and according to his divine nature so that we may be peacemakers. Oh, blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God! Amen, Lord, may we be such ones today!

Christ made Peace, He is our Peace, He is the Peacemaker, and we are the Same as He is by Living by His Life and Nature to be Peacemakers

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

Today the world needs peace; there is no peace wherever you look and wherever you turn. People everywhere are scheming and struggling against each other; nation fights against nation, the leaders fight against those whom they rule and vice versa, and even in family life, there’s much struggle.

People criticise and fight one another, devour one another, and there’s discord both in society and among friends and in the family life. There is discord everywhere.

There is much self-blame, self-hatred, and indignation, discontentment, restlessness, and uneasiness within man’s heart. There’s a battle raging not only outwardly between people but also inwardly. Man’s reason fights against man’s lust, and man’s conscience condemns him.

The result is that man has no peace in himself; he wants to do the good which he agrees with, but he ends up following his lusts and indulging in sin. Oh Lord!

We were alienated from God and enemies in our mind because of our evil works (Col. 1:21). Upon such ones, the wrath of God abides (John 3:36).

How can there be peace between God and man when man is in rebellion against God, having no peace in himself or with God? Oh Lord!

Thank the Lord that Christ came as the Prince of Peace; He came as the Son of God and brought peace to man. He made peace among men, and He made peace between man and God. Christ is the Peacemaker.

He brought peace. He is our peace (Eph. 2:14). He made peace (Col. 1:20). He gives us peace (John 14:27); He doesn’t give us peace as the world gives us peace, but He Himself comes and is our peace.

When He was on the earth, Christ lived in peace with all men; people were drawn to Him, for He was in peace and gave men peace.

Even those who persecuted Him and hated Him, even toward them He had peace, for He came as peace.

Through His death on the cross, Christ made peace, tearing down any separation between men and also making peace between man and God.

Yes, God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son to die for them (John 3:16), and by faith into Christ, we receive eternal life.

But God did not only love man; He came to be our peace, and He is the Peacemaker. We today need to not only love the Lord and love men but even more, make peace and bring in peace.

For He Himself is our peace, He who has made both one and has broken down the middle wall of partition, the enmity. Eph. 2:14 And through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross - through Him, whether the things on the earth or the things in the heavens. Col. 1:20 When we live according to the life and nature of our heavenly Father, who is the God of peace, we bring in peace.

Many times we love others and the more we love them, the more strife there is, and the more opinions arise.

On one hand, we need to have love in order to make peace and be at peace with others; on the other hand, we need to let the Lord deal with the flesh and the self so that we may be under the ruling of the heavens so that any disharmony will be ruled out.

It’s not enough to merely have love; we need to be peacemakers.

Christ made peace; He created peace on the cross, bringing together two people who were at enmity with one another – the Jews and the Gentiles. Christ Himself is the reality of peace.

And in the church today as the one new man, as the kingdom of God, we are a testimony of peace.

We express God as peace to express the Father’s life and nature. We are not only redeemed sinners; we are sons of God.

We are the sons of God, for we are peacemakers.

We have peace within ourselves, allowing the Lord as peace to arbitrate in us and make peace within us, and we live out Christ, who is peace, to make peace and bring in peace.

Lord Jesus, thank You for coming to make peace. Thank You for making peace between God and us, and through Your death on the cross. Thank You for tearing down the middle wall of partition to make peace between other people and us. Hallelujah, Christ is our peace! Amen, Lord, we come to You to receive peace, enjoy peace, and live in peace. We allow Your peace to arbitrate in us and settle any disputes within our being. Amen, Lord, we open to You as the God of peace; be our peace today and be expressed through us as peace. We want to live according to the divine life and nature of our heavenly Father so that we may be peacemakers. Make us those who not only love others but also make peace, bringing in peace, so that we may be called the sons of God. Yes, Lord, be expressed through us as peace. May we allow You to flow through us as peace, be manifested through us as peace, and bring in peace wherever we go. You are the real peace, You bring in peace, and You give us the real peace; do this in us and through us!

The Lord Jesus came to the earth as the Son of God and brought peace to man. He made peace among men and peace between man and God. He is the Peacemaker. Therefore, someone living in the kingdom of the heavens must also be one who makes peace among men. He can live in peace with all men, and he can give peace to all who contact him. The blessing for the peacemakers is to be called sons of God, because they make peace like the Son of God. There are strife and discord in the church because the church lacks peacemakers…If we do not have peace with others, we cannot have peace with God…Because the Lord made peace among men and peace between man and God, we must do the same in order to be called sons of God. Most believers think that it is quite high to treat others with love. The requirement of love is not as high as the requirement of peace. Someone may not have peace when he treats others with love, but he must have love in order to be at peace with others. In the church it seems as though the more love there is, the more there are strife and opinions. This is because people have love, but their flesh is not broken; they are not under the ruling of the heavens, and there is disharmony among the saints…It is not enough to merely have love.

Dear brother, blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God! Amen!

Christ came as the Peacemaker, He made peace, and He is our peace.

Among the sons of men there’s no peace, but we as believers in Christ have the Peacemaker in our spirit. May we be those who are called sons of God by others when we bring peace, make peace, and are peacemakers among men!

Amen, Lord, make us the peacemakers today. We love You, we take You as our peace, and we allow You to make peace in us and among us! May we be the children of our heavenly Father, who is the God of peace, so that we may bring pace wherever we go! Amen!

Amen. The peacemakers shall be called the sons of God.

Peacemakers are those who are strict with themselves, merciful to others and pure toward God.

This making of peace is not merely an outward behaviour, but the divine nature within our being that spontaneously keeps the peace with others.

As we express this peace it will cause others to say “these are truly the sins of God”.

O Lord may we experience You as our peace today. Lord make your home in our heart. May we be those who have peace with others and with God.

Because God our Father is a God of peace, with a peaceful life and nature, He also wants us as His sons to walk according to His nature, pursuing peace toward all men – even in the church and within ourselves!

Without such a peace, with God as its source, not being politically or merely according to outward behaviour we will not see God or have peace toward Him!

Lord, cause us to be those who are strict with ourselves but merciful towards others! Thank You Father that we can have such a walk because we have Your divine life and nature! Amen! Christ is our peace! We can be at peace with God and man!

One thing I have always felt was unfair: if God had made Jacob first, and made him stronger than Esau, he would never have been a heel-holder. He would never have needed to supplant; he could have been a peacemaker instead.

That was also my view of the church life years ago. From time to time, I found myself in chaotic environments, situations that involved a great deal of inward wrestling with God. And I used to think that if I had been an elder, an FTT trainee, or even someone who grew up as a “church kid”—with a more recognized and respected standing—I would never have had to be in those situations. I would have had a much more peaceful church life, and I believe I could have fulfilled those responsibilities better than they did.

But the Lord’s view is different. He was not after the meekness, mercy, righteousness, or love by itself, He wants Christ to be our meekness, our mercy, our righteousness, and our love. He wants Christ to be all and in all. In fact, even if God had made Jacob first, Jacob still would not have been qualified to be a co-king in God’s kingdom. He would never have been brought to the point of blessing the way he did at the end of his journey, he would more likely have become a Saul instead.

Adam, too, was first and capable. Yet he was not unshakable; when Hades attacked, the gates prevailed against him. So the question is not whether we begin as the first, the capable, the meek, the loving, or the peacemaking ones. The question is this: do we want to remain red clay, or do we want to become a prince of God?
