Live a Life of No Anxiety by Trusting the Father and Living by His Divine Life

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed? Matt. 6:34

As believers in Christ who love the Lord and live in the kingdom life today, we are not anxious for our life or for tomorrow, for God’s life in us is not anxious; rather, we do our best with what we have, and we enjoy a life of rest, enjoyment, comfort, and satisfaction.

Amen, Lord Jesus, we cast all our anxieties on You, for it matters to You concerning us! Thank You, Lord, we have nothing to worry about, for You take care of all our needs! We exercise our spirit, Lord, and we tell You all things. We exercise our whole being to do our best at work and at the things we do, and we trust in Your sovereign care! We love You, Lord! Amen!

We Christians are different from those around us not because we are better than them but because we have God’s life in us.

We are regenerated human beings. God’s divine life and nature is in us, and we are learning to live a life in the mingled spirit, in the organic union with the Lord.

We worship God and only God, and we do not serve Satan by seeking to gain more of mammon.

God created us in His image and according to His likeness, but Satan invented mammon; now the whole world runs around trying to get more money, more riches, and more possessions. Oh Lord Jesus!

We believers in Christ need to have a single heart for the Lord. We need to be single in heart, pure in heart, to serve the Lord. The Lord Jesus said that we cannot serve two masters: we can’t serve God and mammon.

If we look at Christianity today we see so many negative examples of famous preachers or servants of the Lord who have been used by God very much, but they loved mammon also, so their ministry did not last, and life was not ministered through them.

We really need to come to the Lord in this matter, for we grow up in a world that emphasises making money, gaining more money, and accumulating more things, and when we come into the church life, we need to be detoxified of such concepts.

The commercial mind, the mind that desirs to gain something for himself, and the desire to have more of mammon, all these need to be exposed by God and purified, purged from our being.

There’s a controversy in the universe today between God and Satan, for both demand our worship; Satan lures and deceives us, but God is simple and straightforward in this matter.

Satan usurps us and tricks us, but God is life and light; we can come to Him, enjoy Him, serve Him in spirit, and partake of His riches; in this way, we worship Him and serve Him in spirit. May we be such ones today!

Live by the Divine Life and Trust in God in All things, Not Being Anxious for our Life

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God...You therefore shall be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matt. 5:9, 48

We believers in Christ are born of God with His life and nature (John 1:12-13); we are children of our heavenly Father.

In Matthew 5-7 we see the constitution of the kingdom of the heavens, and the requirements are much higher than the requirements outlined in the law of Moses.

The only way we can fulfil these requirements is by the divine and nature of our heavenly Father.

There is no way for us to fulfil the requirements of the kingdom of the heavens without having the Father’s life and nature.

For all these things the Gentiles are anxiously seeking. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things...Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself; sufficient for the day is its own evil. Matt. 32, 34The constitution of the kingdom is for the sons of the kingdom, and the only way we can live in this way and have such a work is by the life and nature of our Father.

We are called to be pacemakers, sons of God (Matt. 5:9), and the Lord told us to be perfect even as our heavenly Father is perfect (v. 48).

One particular attribute of God’s life in us is no anxiety. In Matthew 6:25, 32, and 34 the Lord told us not to be anxious for our life, for all these things the Gentiles are anxiously seeking; we should not be anxious for tomorrow.

How can we not be anxious for our life, for shelter, money, health, family, etc? It is only by contacting the Lord to live by the divine life and nature.

There is no anxiety in the divine life and nature in our spirit. Anxiety is the totality of the fallen human life, but there is no anxiety in the divine life.

For example, barking is of the dog life, not of the bird life; a bird cannot bark, but a dog spontaneously barks. Similarly, if we live in and by the human life, we are full of anxiety.

There’s everything to be anxious when we live by the human life. Anxiety is the gear that makes the whole world move.

The reason people get insurance for their health, life, house, etc is because of anxiety.

The reason people do this and that, even the reason they do everything, is because they are anxious that this or that bad thing would happen.

If we take anxiety from a human being, the result is death, for people have nothing to live for. Oh Lord! Anxiety is the incentive for all human culture.

If someone would take anxiety from our living, no one would do anything. It is in our human nature that we would be anxious.

Actually, the more we grow in the human life, the more anxious we are! But the Lord Jesus said that we should not be anxious for our life, what we should eat or drink.

Rather, we should look at the birds of heaven – they do not sow nor reap nor gather into barns, yet our heavenly Father nourishes them.

Aren’t we of more value than they? We are of much more value than them. In the divine life and nature of God in our spirit there is no anxiety. In God there is no anxiety. God is anxious about nothing. To Him, this term, anxiety, is a strange term.

God has many desires, He has a heart’s desire, and He has an eternal purpose, and even though it seems that it takes such a long time to fulfil it, so many of His people are degrading, and there are so many problems, He is not worried about anything, and there’s no anxiety in Him! Amen!

Because of this, I say to you, Do not be anxious for your life, what you should eat or what you should drink; nor for your body, what you should put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body than clothing? Look at the birds of heaven. They do not sow nor reap nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father nourishes them. Are you not of more value than they? Matt. 6:25-26God is never anxious. And His life is in us. The life free of anxiety is in our spirit, and the nature that knows no anxiety is in us.

If you think about it, who can add one cubit to his stature if he is anxious? And why are we anxious about our clothing? Look at the lilies of the field: they don’t toil, nor do they spin thread, but not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed like one of these.

If God so arrays the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is cast into the furnace, will He not much more clothe us, who have little faith?

May we not be anxious about what we should eat, what we should drink, and with what we should be clothed.

All these things the Gentiles are anxiously speaking about and seeking, but our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. On the one hand, we should not store treasures here on earth; on the other hand, we should not be anxious about anything.

The reason we do not store up treasures in heaven is that we want to store up more for ourselves on earth because we are anxious, we are afraid we will have nothing to eat or drink, etc. May we bring this to the Lord in prayer.

May we open to Him whenever we sense that anxiety comes in.

May we learn to turn to our spirit, cast all our anxious thoughts on Him, and live one spirit with Him, enjoying His divine life with no anxiety!

Lord Jesus, thank You for regenerating us with the divine life and nature for us to live a life with no anxiety! Hallelujah, in the divine life and nature, there is no anxiety! Amen, Lord, we want to live and walk by the divine life of our heavenly Father! Hallelujah, we are children of God, and His life and nature are in us! Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit today. We look to You for all our needs. We refuse to worry about what we should eat and drink. Thank You for taking care of all our needs. We can just live one spirit with You today, doing our best according to what You entrust us. We do not rely on what we can do or on what we are; we rely on You and we trust in You! Praise the Lord, our God is not anxious! Hallelujah, to God anxiety is a strange term! Amen, Lord, we are the children of our heavenly Father, and we want to live by the divine life and nature of our Father today! Thank You for taking care of us in all things. We just love You and trust in You!

Live a Life of No Anxiety by the Divine Life of our Father as we Do our Duty and enjoy Life and Satisfaction

Casting all your anxiety on Him because it matters to Him concerning you. 1 Pet. 5:7

As the Lord Jesus was speaking the decrees of the kingdom of the heavens in Matthew 6, He suddenly spoke concerning us not worrying about what shall we eat, what shall we drink, and what shall we be clothed.

Apparently, in this section of the constitution the Lord was speaking of the material riches of the kingdom people. Actually, He was dealing with the matter of anxiety. He used the word anxious six times (Matt. 6:25, 27, 28, 31, 34).

He spoke concerning our heart, saying that our heart is where our treasure is; but actually, He wanted to touch the matter of the anxiety in the heart.

Material riches mean nothing to the Lord, but our heart and the anxiety in the heart means a lot.

The Lord is more concerned with our anxiety, the source of the problem of our daily living, than with our material riches.

When some young brothers and sisters may hear that we should not worry about anything, they may be quite happy, for they are tired of studying so much or working so much, so they may think they don’t have to study or work but just enjoy the Lord and the heavenly Father will cause food and drink to come to them.

They may think that, if they give up their study and their job, and just read the Bible, God will provide them with food, drink, and shelter.

This is not a proper attitude regarding this matter; it is a lazy attitude, without being exercised before the Lord. We need to do our best before Him.

It is good to take Matthew 6:28-30 and pray it before the Lord. We can take the details in these verses and pray them to the Lord, asking Him what He means by this.

We cannot take the word of God for granted; we need to take the Lord at His word and allow His word to change our concepts.

The Lord entrusts certain things to us, and we need to do our best for Him with what we have.

In what we do, however, we should not be anxious for ourselves.

The only way we are not anxious is if we contact the Lord and live by the life and nature of God in our spirit. There is no anxiety in the divine life and the divine nature.

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; And the peace of God, which surpasses every man's understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7Rather, God’s life is a life of enjoyment, rest, comfort, and satisfaction (Phil. 4:6-7; 1 Pet. 5:7).

We can cast all our cares on Him. We can trust in Him. We can live one with Him. and we can live by the divine life and nature, thus living a life of rest, enjoyment, peace, and satisfaction.

We believe the Lord’s words that He who takes care of the birds, the flowers, and the many things in the nature today, He will also take care of us.

Yes, we have to study, work, and do all kinds of things, but as we do these things, we are not anxious but rather, we contact the Lord, we live by His life and nature, and we live a life of peace and satisfaction.

When we are in the self, when we try to please the Lord and do anything in the human life, we are anxious about many things.

Even Martha was anxious about many things, right there next to the Lord, to the point that she demanded that Mary would also help her in all the service.

The Lord Jesus, however, appreciates when we take the better part, sitting at His feet and enjoying Him, absorbing His words, and being infused with His intentions and desires.

When we live by the life and nature of God in our spirit, we live a life of no anxiety, for anxiety does not belong to the divine nature! Amen!

Lord Jesus, thank You for being our life and our person today. We come to You, Lord, concerning the details of our daily life. We come to You with all our worries and anxious thoughts. We open to You. We choose not to worry but cast all our cares on You. Praise the Lord, there is no anxiety in the divine life and the divine nature in our spirit! Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit to touch You, enjoy You, and partake of Your life today! May we live a life of enjoyment, rest, comfort, and satisfaction. May we live one spirit with You today in all things. How we thank and praise You for caring for us, meeting all our needs, and being our life and peace. Keep us enjoying You today. We want to do our best with what You have given to us, and we choose not to allow anxiety to come in! Amen, Lord, in Your life there’s no anxiety! Praise the Lord, we are dead to the world and living to God! Amen, Lord, may You touch anxiety, the gear of human life, in our being!

Col 3:1-4 If therefore you were raised together with Christ, seek the things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things which are above, not on the things which are on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ our life is manifested, then you also will be manifested with Him in glory.

In God, Christ is our life. This life is now hidden but will be manifested. Then we will be manifested with this life in glory. In 2:20 — 3:4 the unique way and the unique person are revealed to us. The unique way is the cross, the center of God’s government, and the unique person is Christ, the preeminent, all-inclusive One, the center of the universe. By the cross, not by asceticism, we were saved from the negative things. By Christ, not by philosophy, we live the life hidden in God. (footnotes for Colossians 3:4)

Although [Matthew 5—7 does] not actually use the words life and nature, from the context we can see that apart from the Father’s divine life and nature, these chapters are in vain. No one would be able to fulfill the requirements of the kingdom of the heavens without having the Father’s life and nature. Every constitution is based upon a certain kind of life…The constitution given by the Lord Jesus on the mountain was for the sons of God, and it was based upon the life and nature of the Father. Two verses in chapter 5 indicate this fact. Verse 9 says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God,” and verse 48 says, “You therefore shall be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.”
