we are going through a metamorphic change to become the Body of Christ, God’s glorious expression

The Body of Christ is a mysterious organism composed of the union and mingling of the Triune God and the believers (see Eph. 4:4-6). In the Body of Christ we as the believers are joined to the Triune God and are being continually mingled with the Triune God. In this organic structure, God the Father is the person – He is over all(managing and caring for all), and through all(penetrating and joining all), and He is even in all(dwelling and living in us all). Also, God the Son is the element and the factor of life in the Body of Christ – through baptism we were cut off from the old element of the Adamic life, and through our believing into the Lord we were joined to the element of Christ’s new life. God the Spirit is the essence of the life of the Body of Christ – He is the Spirit of the life of Christ, and He is saturating us with the splendor of this essence so that the Body of Christ may enter into the glory of the life of Christ (Col. 1:27). There’s a saturation and a permeation going on in our Christian life, where the Spirit of the life of Christ, the essence of the Body, is saturating us with God’s essence until we fully express the splendor of this essence – which is the redemption of our body, our being brought fully into glory! What a glorious entity – what a marvelous organic structure: the Body of Christ as the organism of the Triune God!

For us to become fully the Body of Christ as the glorious expression of the Triune God, we need to have a “metamorphic change” which takes place in various ways, for us to be fully joined and mingled with the Triune God! According to the Bible, there are several ways in which we are metamorphically changed in an inward way that we may be the organism of the Triune God. Here are a some of the ways we can be in this organic process of transformation:

• By putting off the old man(which is corrupted by lust) and putting on the new man (which is created by God in righteousness and holiness of the reality) – See. Eph. 4:22-24. The more we put off the old man, the more we will put the new man – and this metamorphic change is accomplished through the renewing in the spirit of our mind! The Spirit is mingled with our spirit, and this mingled spirit spreads into our mind to become the spirit of our mind… The more we exercise our spirit and turn to the Lord, the more the mingled spirit saturates our mind and intrinsically, metamorphically, changes us and transforms us!
• Through the redemption by the saturating of the Holy Spirit of God as the seal (see. Eph. 4:30). When we believed into the Lord, the Holy Spirit sealed us for God – and the more we enjoy the Lord and experience Him, the Holy Spirit saturates us and redeems us! The parts of our being and the “rooms” in our mind which were sealed and saturated with the Spirit are “sealed by God” and transformed. God is continually sealing us with His element for the purpose of saturation our whole being – until even our body is fully transformed, redeemed, and transfigured!
• This metamorphic change is through Christ’s word of life which nourishes us(affords us the supply in life and provides us the warm, tender, cherishing, and loving care), washes us(removes the spots, wrinkles, and any such things so that we may become glorious), and sanctifies us(separates us from anything else unto God and saturates us with the element of God) – See Eph. 5:25-27, 29. It’s all in and through the word of life in the Bible – we need to pray over the Word and touch the living Word daily so that we may be nourished, transformed, renewed, washed, and sanctified!

Lord, continue in us the process of transformation. We want to fully “shed our old skin off” that we may become the new man in Your economy! Saturate us and permeate us, Lord! Fill us with Your element! We pray for our coming to Your Word – make us open to Your living word to us. We want to have the spirit become the spirit of our mind – saturating and permeating our mind! Lord, seal us more with the Spirit until our whole being is saturated with God! Make us the Body of Christ – Your glorious and splendid expression in this universe!
