We enter the Holy of Holies by the Blood of Jesus to touch the Throne of Grace in Spirit

Heb. 10:19 Having therefore, brothers, boldness for entering the Holy of Holies in the blood of Jesus.

The expiation cover on the Ark in the Holy of Holies equals the throne of grace in Heb. 4:16; as believers in Christ, we have boldness in the blood of Jesus to enter the Holy of Holies and touch the throne of grace in our spirit.

This is the key: touching our spirit, the mingled spirit where the Lord dwells and where His throne is.

When we meet with the Lord in the mingled spirit, based on the blood of Jesus and in the shining of His glory, we can hear God’s voice, learn the desire of His heart, and receive vision, revelation, and instruction from Him.

This is what happened to Moses when he spent time with God, and this is what happens to us whenever we apply the blood of Jesus, come forward to God, and touch the throne of grace in our spirit.

In the Lord’s presence in the Holy of Holies we hear His voice – not audibly, but inwardly; we may even inquire of the Lord, Lord, what is in Your heart concerning me? Make known to me the desire of Your heart concerning me, where I am in my situation.

The Lord wants us to have many heart-to-heart conversations with Him, us being in the Holy of Holies standing on the blood of Christ and under the shining glory of Christ and opening our heart to Him even as He opens our heart to us.

From His heart to our heart, and from our heart to His heart – such conversations are indescribably precious and delightful.

We simply need to come forth, open our being to Him, and let Him direct us, enlighten us, and guide us; when we’re in His direct presence, we will be under His direct rule.

When we meet with the Lord in the Holy of Holies, we are infused by Him with all that He is; we are unveiled to see Him face to face, and we behold Him and reflect Him in His glory (2 Cor. 3:18).

When Moses was with God, he didn’t realise this, but his face became shining like a sun, so the people had to put a veil on his face; then, when he went back into God’s presence, he took the veil off.

In the spiritual realm, when we spend time with the Lord in the Holy of Holies, entering here by the blood of Jesus to touch the throne of grace in our spirit, we will enter into the glorious realm of God, and we are infused by Him with all that He is.

We all are about to end up becoming glorious, radiant, shining constituents of the wife of the redeeming God!

However, we should not look for a feeling of this, for even a feeling can replace Him; we should simply look at Him, let Him look at us, and whether we feel this or not, He will infuse us with His element more and more until our whole being is being saturated with His element! Amen!

Having Boldness to Enter the Holy of Holies in the Blood of Jesus

Heb. 4:16 Let us therefore come forward with boldness to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help. How can we experience coming to God and meeting with Him on the expiation cover today? In our spiritual experience, the expiation cover of the Ark in the Holy of Holies equals the throne of grace spoken of in Heb. 4:16.

The expiation cover where we meet the God of glory is the throne of grace; the Lord is here enthroned between the cherubim, the shining of God’s glory in Christ, and it is here that the Lord speaks, for here there’s the throne of grace.

The throne of grace is actually the cover of the ark on which Christ sprinkled His blood which He shed for our redemption.

In Heb. 4:16 we are told to come forward with boldness to the throne of grace, and in Heb. 10:19-20 we are told that we have boldness by His blood to enter into the Holy of Holies in a new and living way! Hallelujah!

We have boldness to enter the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus, for His blood opened a new and living way for us to come forward to God!

We all need the Lord to increase our faith in His blood; we should not believe in our condition or our situation, but in the precious, perfect, eternally effective blood of Jesus, which is the means for us to come forward to God.

We may even ask the Lord to apply the blood on our behalf according to His evaluation of it, for only He knows, understands, and truly appreciates the power, worth, value, and efficacy of the blood of Jesus.

On our side we simply need to exercise not to believe in our weaknesses, our history, our failures, or our situation, but believe in the blood of Jesus that was sprinkled on the throne of grace (the reality of the expiation cover) to open the way for us all to boldly enter into the Holy of Holies!

Hallelujah, as believers in Christ we have boldness for entering the Holy of Holies in the blood of Jesus.

It is a great matter to enter into the Holy of Holies, for there God in Christ is sitting on the throne of grace. In order for us to enter into such a place, we must have boldness, and we have it by Christ’s death and by His blood.

When we spend time with the Lord in the Holy of Holies, we are infused by Him with all He is. We may illustrate this by the case of a young man who spends an hour in conversation with a famous university professor. After this hour spent in the presence of such a professor,...he may even unconsciously imitate the professor’s way of speaking. How much more will the Lord infuse Himself into us if we spend an hour of fellowship with Him! Upon this lid as the propitiatory cover, God can meet with the people who broke His righteous law without any governmental contradiction of His righteousness, even under the observing of the cherubim, which bear His glory overshadowing the lid of the Ark. Because the law with its demands is covered and God’s glory is satisfied, God can speak with sinners, and these sinners can be at peace with God and receive grace from Him. Therefore, this propitiatory cover equals the throne of grace (Heb. 4:16). Witness Lee, Life-study of Exodus, p. 1036We come forward not in a fearful nor in a haughty way but with nobility, honor, and confidence, for we know that we have the right to be there.

According to Rev. 22:11, blessed are those who wash their robes for they have the right to the tree of life. It doesn’t say that blessed are those who are perfect and do not sin, but blessed are those who was their robes.

Our garments need to be washed to be white, and we have the right to the tree of life in the Holy of Holies! Praise the Lord, by the blood of Jesus we have the boldness to enter into the Holy of Holies at any time!

The enemy, however, robs us of time; we may have a failure and then feel bad about it (which is normal), but then we may take the lie from the enemy not to contact the Lord because He will discipline us and punish us, for He is not happy with us…so we need to wait for a day or two….Oh Lord Jesus!

In such situations it is good to even rebuke the enemy with his lies, for we can come forward to God at any time! As soon as we sense we are away from the Lord, we can come based on the blood of Jesus!

Having a good day doesn’t qualify us and having a bad day doesn’t disqualify us – only the blood of Jesus qualifies us to have boldness to enter the Holy of Holies!

So when Satan accuses us, we have to proclaim to him the power of the blood of Jesus; we shouldn’t accept his accusations but accept the Lord’s light and believe nothing coming out of Satan’s lying mouth!

Lord, we come forward with boldness to the Holy of Holies in our spirit by the blood of Jesus! Praise the Lord, we have the right to be in God’s presence and be under His shining and speaking because of the perfect, precious, eternally effective blood of Jesus! Amen, Lord, strengthen our faith in Your blood. And Satan, we do not accept your accusations: a man Jesus destroyed you on the cross, and this man Jesus was raised from the dead, ascended to the height of the universe, and has been enthroned! Satan, you want to be on the throne, but that’s where the God-man Jesus is, and that’s where we will be! Praise the Lord! Hallelujah for the blood of Jesus which gives us the boldness and the right to come forward to God in the Holy of Holies and touch the throne of grace!

Today we can Enter the Holy of Holies to touch the Throne of Grace in our Spirit!

Gen. 28:12 And he dreamed that there was a ladder set up on the earth, and it stop reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. John 1:51 And He said to him, Truly, truly I say to you, You shall see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man. 2 Tim. 4:22 The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you. The Holy of Holies today is in heaven, where the Lord Jesus is (Heb. 9:12, 24), but we are still on earth; how can we enter into the Holy of Holies today? How can we come forward to the throne of grace, the lid of the ark, when the ark is in the heavens?

In Gen. 28 we see the story of Jacob’s dream, where he saw a ladder joining earth to heaven and the angels of God ascending and descending upon it; when he woke up, he said, This is none other than the house of God, the gate of heaven.

According to Eph. 2:22, we are becoming a dwelling place of God in spirit; the house, the dwelling place of God is in our spirit. In John 1:51 the Lord Jesus said that Nathaniel will see the heavens opened and angels ascending and descending upon the Son of Man; Christ is the heavenly ladder.

With the house (which is in our spirit) and the ladder (which is Christ) there’s also the gate of heaven; this gate is our mingled spirit, where Christ dwells today.

When we see this and realise what this means, we will turn from anything of the self, anything of the enemy, and all our failures, and based on the blood of Jesus we will turn to our spirit, and when we enter our spirit, we immediately come to the throne of grace!

Hallelujah, our spirit is the dwelling place of God, which is the gate of heaven, and here the Son of Man is the ladder connecting earth to heaven and heaven to us! So as soon as we turn to our spirit, calling on the Lord and contacting Him, right away we touch the throne of grace with boldness!

This is the secret: our spirit; the Christ who is in heaven is also in our spirit (2 Tim. 4:22).

As the heavenly ladder (Gen. 28:12; John 1:51), He joins our spirit to heaven and brings heaven into our spirit.

In His resurrection He broke through the limitations of space and time; now space and time don’t matter, so as soon as we turn to our spirit, though we are human beings on earth, we become the house of God, we have the gate of heavens here, there’s a ladder in our spirit, and we are connected to the throne of grace int he heavens!

Praise the Lord, right now the throne of grace is in our spirit!

When we enter into the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus and by the new and living way, we come to the throne of grace within the veil to receive mercy and find grace from the ascended Christ in the heavens (Heb. 4:14, 16; 6:19-20). Hebrews 4:16 speaks of coming “forward with boldness to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help.” The throne of grace is undoubtedly the throne of God which is in heaven (Rev. 4:2). The throne of God is the throne of authority to all the universe (Dan. 7:9; Rev. 5:1) on which God sits to control and rule over the universe. It is the throne of God’s administration. But to us, the believers, it is the throne of grace, signified by the expiation cover (the mercy seat) over the Ark of the Testimony (Exo. 25:17, 21; Rom. 3:25) in the Holy of Holies (Heb. 9:3, 5) sprinkled with the blood of Christ (Lev. 16:15; Heb. 9:12). Here God meets with His people and communes with them (Exo. 25:21-22). When we come to the throne of grace through the blood of Christ, we meet with God and commune with Him. Witness Lee, The Conclusion of the New Testament, p. 1630This throne is the lid of the ark, the expiation cover, the place where we meet with God and have His speaking! Whenever we turn to our spirit, we enter into the Holy of Holies, where we meet with God who is on the throne of grace.

No matter what we are feeling or what we’re going through, whenever we turn to our spirit, we enter into the Holy of Holies, and we meet God who is on the throne of grace!

Hallelujah, whenever we enter into the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus, we come to the throne of grace within the veil to receive mercy and find grace from the ascended Christ in the heavens (Heb. 4:14, 16; 6:19-20)!

As we grow in the Lord and He grows in us, we are being weakened and humbled, and we are being broken and losing our self-confidence; we will then realise that everything depends not on our effort or willing but on God’s mercy.

We come forward to the throne of grace, but what we receive is mercy and grace; we find mercy first, having no excuse or argument or reasoning, and then we enjoy grace.

When we receive mercy, we are qualified to enjoy grace; we will then ask the Lord to supply us with the portion of grace we need for that day, for only His grace is sufficient for us….

Lord Jesus, we turn from our self and our failures and come forward with boldness to the throne of grace based on the blood of Jesus. Thank You Lord for the gate of heaven in our spirit; there’s a heavenly ladder set up in our spirit which joins us to the heaven, and whenever we turn to our spirit, we touch the throne of grace! Lord Jesus, we come forward to the Holy of Holies in our spirit to touch the throne of grace and receive mercy and find grace for timely help. Amen, Lord, we just come forward. Grant us Your mercy and supply us with Your grace for today.
