The All-Inclusive Christ is Everything to Us for the Building of the Church

April 12, 2013 by aGodMan 6 Comments

Matthew reveals that for the building of the church (16:18), Christ is the King (2:1-2; 21:5), the Son of the living God (16:16), the Son of Man (8:20; 11:19), the Baptizer (3:11), the light (4:12-16), the Physician (9:12), the Bridegroom (v. 15), the unfulled cloth (v. 16), the new wine (v. 17), the Shepherd (v. 36), the Lord of the harvest (v. 38), the Friend of sinners (11:19a), wisdom (v. 19b), the One who gives rest (vv. 28-30), the real David (12:3), the One greater than the temple (v. 6), the greater Jonah (vv. 39-41), the One greater than Solomon (v. 42), the bread and crumbs under the table (15:26-27), and the resurrected One in His humanity with all authority in heaven and on earth (28:18-19).

In the first part of Zechariah (the first eight chapters) we see eight visions with many aspects of Christ related to the recovery of God’s building. In the second part of Zechariah (the last six chapters), there are some prophecies concerning Christ in the future, after the recovery of the temple. In Zechariah we see […]

“That the World may Believe that You Have Sent Me” implies “Incorporation”

The man with the measuring line intended to measure Jerusalem so that Jehovah might repossess it after the seventy years of Israel’s captivity (Zech. 2:2, 4b).

In the first six chapters of Zechariah we see eight mysterious revelations of Christ, beginning with Christ as a Man riding on a red horse among the myrtle trees. Throughout the book of Zechariah we see many aspects of Christ and many prophecies concerning His life and work. When God’s people see Christ in all […]

Even in our Lowest Condition Christ is with us to Recover us for His Building

In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of offenses, according to the riches of His grace (Eph. 1:7).

In the book of Zechariah we see that Christ is everything to us for the recovery of the building of God’s house, the temple of God. To understand the things spoken of by Haggai the prophet is not that difficult – his message was pretty much straightforward, encouraging and warning God’s people to continue to […]

All Believers are Priests of God; Satan Struggles Against the Temple of God

April 9, 2013 by aGodMan 4 Comments

All Believers are Priests of God in the Temple of God (which Satan Hates). See Matt. 16:18

God’s goal is the temple of God – He desires to gain His house, His church, His building, His temple, the place of His dwelling and where He can rest. God knows this, and Satan also knows this – this is why Satan attacked the temple of God and did his best to destroy it […]

God’s Goal in His Eternal Economy is the Temple of God, His Corporate Building

April 8, 2013 by aGodMan 3 Comments

Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1 Cor. 3:16)

These past six weeks we have been enjoying visions after visions and revelations after revelations in the book of Daniel, and it is very encouraging and inspiring to see how Daniel and his companions overcame in that dark situation and even prayed to release God’s will on the earth. In the following six weeks we […]

Being Faithful to Pray for God’s Move and His Economy even in Face of Opposition

April 6, 2013 by aGodMan 7 Comments

There is no other way to bring God's economy into fullness and into fulfillment except by prayer.

In Daniel 1-6 we see how Satan attacks, deceives, blinds, lures, and tries to put down some of the remnant of God’s people who still overcome even while in Babylon. Satan used Nebuchadnezzar to destroy the holy city and the holy temple, and it seemed like God’s expression on earth was wiped out. Yet God […]

Not Being Proud but Honoring God (in Whose Hand is our Breath) by Enjoying Him

April 5, 2013 by aGodMan 4 Comments

As those who have been chosen by God to be His people for Christ’s preeminence, we are under God’s heavenly rule for the purpose of making Christ preeminent.

In the book of Daniel, we see three crucial matters: God’s heavenly rule (the heavens rule!), the preeminence of Christ, and the destiny apportioned by God for His people (especially Israel). God has an economy, a plan, and in His economy, He administrates the universe to fulfill His purpose, which is to make Christ preeminent […]
