Christ the King is Coming with His Overcomers to Reign over the Earth Forever and Ever

...The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever. Rev. 11:15

According to Revelation 11:15-18 and 12:10, we can experience and enjoy Christ as the eternal King, for when He comes to execute judgment on the earth, Christ as King will reign over the whole earth and take it as His possession, and we as His overcomers will rule and reign with Him!

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, our King! Jesus Christ is Lord! Christ is King! Amen, Lord, we enthrone You in our being. Though others reject You and revile You, we love You, we appreciate You, we enthrone You, and we give You the first place! Amen, Lord, have the preeminence in our being. May Your life grow in us, flow in us, and even reign in us so that we may reign in life. Praise the Lord, we are being prepared to be kings with Christ to reign for eternity! Amen!

This week in our prayerful consideration of the wonderful aspects of Christ in the book of Revelation for us to experience, enjoy, and express, we come to chapters 10 and 11, where we see a particular aspect of Christ.

We want to consider in a prayerful way Christ, the Eternal King, Coming to Possess the earth and the Finishing of the Mystery of God.

May we really open to the Lord. May we have God’s view when we read the Bible so that we can see His Christ on every page and even in every verse.

God doesn’t just give us things or matters; He gives us Christ. He doesn’t just want to bring in His kingdom; He wants His Christ to increase and spread as the kingdom of God.

We want to see more of Christ. We want to see more aspects of the glorious, wonderful, eternal and all-inclusive Christ.

The more we see Christ, the more we enjoy Him, experience Him, and express Him. In Revelation chapters 11 and 12 we see how Christ is the eternal King who is coming to possess the earth, and we also see the finishing of the mystery of God.

The book of Revelation does not only talk about the end of the age and what God will gain in eternity; it is a revelation of Jesus Christ.

We Christians many times focus on and want to know what will happen at the end of this age, what are the signs of the Lord’s coming, how can we prepare to meet the Lord, and other so-called practical and outward things.

But the Lord wants to gain the inward reality of our experiencing, enjoying, and expressing Christ, for all the outward events are set in motion and will take place only when God gains the reality of the Body of Christ, the overcoming saints who live a God-man life by experiencing, enjoying, and expressing Christ.

May we give ourselves to the Lord to not only acknowledge His sovereignty as the King in an outward sense but even more, enthrone Him as King in our daily life, in all our situations.

We may Experience and Enjoy Christ as the Eternal King bringing in God’s Kingdom and Reigning Forever and Ever

But I have installed My King / Upon Zion, My holy mountain. Psa. 2:6

When the seventh angel trumpeted, there were loud voices in heaven saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.

And the elders who sit before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshipped God, saying, We thank you, Lord God, the Almighty, He who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have reigned (Rev. 11:15, 18).

Revelation 12:10 further says that John heard a loud voice in heaven saying, now has come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ, for the accuser of our brothers has been cast down, who has accused them before our God day and night. Praise the Lord!

These verses indicate that we may experience and enjoy Christ as the eternal King.

And to Him was given dominion, glory, and a kingdom, / That all the peoples, nations, and languages might serve Him. / His dominion is an eternal dominion, which will not pass away; / And His kingdom is one that will not be destroyed. Dan. 7:14In the Gospel of John we see Christ as the Lamb of God, the Saviour; He is so loving and endearing, and He came to accomplish redemption for us. But in Revelation, we see Christ as the King, so majestic, stately, even fearsome. We can only bow down and prostrate before Him.

In the Gospels, we see Him as the Saviour, so approachable and lovable; in Revelation we see Christ as King, so majestic and powerful, even judging all things.

When we see Christ as King, it is like seeing another Christ and experiencing another salvation. We need to experience this higher salvation, that is, know Christ as King.

We should not remain in a shallow and superficial knowledge of Christ but be brought on by the Lord to have a deeper knowing and experience of Christ.

When we see Christ as the King, we will prostrate ourselves; our life will change and everything will change, even our future will change, for we will experience another salvation, a salvation on another level.

May we come to the Lord in His word and pray over the matter of Christ being the King. God created man to rule and reign with God, for He made man in His own image and likeness and gave man dominion over all things (Gen. 1:26).

This word, dominion, implies not just management or adminstrating but it implies defeating, subduing, and crushing. God wants man to subdue the enemy and crush his head.

Man was a type of Christ, for Christ is the real Adam, the last Adam; though the first Adam fell and did not fulfil God’s intention, Christ came as the last Adam (1 Cor. 15:45) and fulfilled God’s purpose.

After Adam fell, God came to call Abraham, the head of the called race; He blessed Abraham and told him he would be a great nation.

But Abraham’s descendants fell into Egypt, and God came and rescued them through Moses; in Exodus 19 God told them that he will make them a kingdom of priests.

God intends for Him to be the King among His people, and His people to be the kingdom of priests. The people of God are the realm in which God can exercise His kingdom.

But the people of Israel asked Samuel to put a king over them; they had judges, and then they wanted to have a king. Samuel was displeased with that, but God told him that it was not him that they rejected but God as their King.

So God gave them Saul to be king, but Saul was for himself; he was not for God’s kingdom but for his own empire.

Then God gained a man, David, who was after His own heart; God promised that He will raise a seed after David who will build God’s house, and God will establish His throne forever.

David wrote many psalms, and some of these psalms speak of Jehovah being the King (see Psa. 2, 24, 89, and 110).

Later the prophets were raised up, and one time Isaiah, at a low point in his ministry when he was discouraged and disappointed with the condition of the children of Israel, was given by God to see a vision of Christ as King (Isa. 6).

He was encouraged and strengthened by this vision, for Christ is coming not only to save His people but also to be the King, and the government will be upon His shoulders, and of His government and His peace there is no end.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and disciple all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matt. 28:18-19Later, Daniel also spoke concerning Christ coming as King who is given dominion, glory, and a kingdom so that all the peoples, nations, and tongues might serve Him (Dan. 7:14).

Then, Christ came in the New Testament; the magi, the wise men from the east, saw His star rising and came to see the new King of the Jews.

But He came not as a King to rule us outwardly but as a lowly Lamb of God; He came both as the King to testify for the truth and bring in God’s kingdom and as the Lamb of God to redeem us.

After He went to the cross to be crucified, He told us that all authority was given to Him on earth and in heaven, so He gave us His authority to go and disciple all the nations to make them kingdom people (Matt. 28:18-19).

Now Christ is the exalted Head of the Body, and we are His Body going to preach the gospel of the kingdom (Matt. 24:14) to not only save them but deliver them from their rebellion and be brought back to God.

And in Revelation, we see how, at the sounding of the seventh trumpet, Christ the King is coming to bring in His kingdom to the earth. He will bring in His millennial kingdom where He will reign as King and all the overcomers will also reign with Him.

We aspire to be the overcomers who are His co-kings to rule with Him for a thousand years in the millennial kingdom and for eternity in the New Jerusalem! We praise the Lord Jesus Christ as the eternal King who is coming to reign over all the nations!

Lord Jesus, we praise You! You are the King! Jesus Christ is the eternal King! Amen, Lord, we worship You and we prostrate ourselves before You as our King! Thank You for being the King in the past and also in the present, and You will be the King in the coming age and for all eternity! Thank You for becoming a man to be the King, bringing in the kingdom of God as the realm of the divine life. Amen, Lord, we repent of our sins, we believe into You, and we are transferred out of the authority of darkness and into the kingdom of the Son of God’s love! Praise the Lord, we today are the kingdom people, and Jesus Christ is King, even our King! We love You, Lord Jesus, as the Lamb of God who came to take the sin of the world, and we worship You as our King, for You are the One who has all authority in heaven and on earth! We give You the preeminence in our being. We enthrone You in our being. Oh Lord, we praise You as the eternal King who is coming to take possession of the earth and rule for eternity!

Christ the King is Coming with His Overcomers to Reign over the Earth Forever and Ever!

...Now has come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ...Rev. 11:15

What a glorious day it will be when the cry will sound out, Now has come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ, for the accuser of our brothers has been cast down, who accuses them before our God day and night (Rev. 12:10)!

At the sounding of the seventh trumpet, not only will the great tribulation end but also this age will close, the mystery of God will be finished (10:7), and another age, the age of the kingdom, the millennium, will begin.

After God’s judgment upon the earth, the earth will be taken over by and returned to God so that Christ will reign in His kingdom on the earth forever and ever.

Christ the King is coming to reign in the millennial kingdom and in the new heaven and new earth for eternity (22:5).

The Lion-Lamb is worthy to open the scroll in the hand of the One on the throne (Rev. 5), and the scroll contains seven seals, which are the mystery of God’s economy.

The last seal, the seventh seal, contains seven trumpets, which are the judgments that God will exercise over the sea, the rivers, the land, the sun, the moon, the stars and the peoples.

The last trumpet, the seventh trumpet, brings in the closing of this age and ushers in another age.

The kingdom of the world becomes the kingdom of Christ at His coming back after He executes His judgment upon the nations (Dan. 7:13-14; 2:44-45).

On the one hand, Christ is coming to judge everything and everyone, so that He may purify and cleanse the universe for His kingdom.

On the other hand, He is coming as the King to possess the earth, and Christ the King with His overcomers will reign over the earth forever and ever! Praise the Lord!

When the age of the kingdom arrives, the entire earth will be the kingdom of Christ.

Today, Satan is the usurper, the one who usurps everything and everyone in this world; one day, the Lord Jesus as King is coming to regain this earth.

The proper Owner of the earth is Christ; He not only created the earth and owns it, but even more, he paid the price on the cross to purchase the entire earth so that one day His kingdom would be established on it (Matt. 13:44). Every inch of this earth belongs to Christ, but today Satan is usurping it.

We need to see that Christ is the unique Owner of the earth, and soon he is coming back to take possession of the earth (Rev. 10:1-2).

We today aspire to be the Lord’s overcomers who claim the earth back for God and His kingdom.

We realise that Christ the King is coming, and we stand with Him, we enthrone Him in our being, and we allow Him to rule and reign in us so that, when Christ the King returns, we will return with Him as His overcomers.

The kingdom of the heavens is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid, and in his joy goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field. Matt. 13:44 And night will be no more; and they have no need of the light of a lamp and of the light of the sun, for the Lord God will shine upon them; and they will reign forever and ever. Rev. 22:5He will return and will reign forever and ever (Rev. 11:15); the overcomers will also reign forever and ever (22:5).

The final blessing to God’s redeemed in eternity is to reign with Christ the King.

This reigning is not just in eternity; today we can reign in life by receiving the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness (Rom. 5:10, 17). If today we reign in life by allowing the Lord to reign in us, we will reign with Him when He returns to possess the earth.

May we remember that, wherever we are and whatever we are doing, we are members of God’s royal family; we are kings of the kingly family.

As we do our job at work, eat at home or at a restaurant, travel on public transport, drive our car, or simply take a walk, we should never sell our royal status but reign in life.

We may preach the gospel to others and start by telling them that, according to the Bible, we are kings, for we’re one with Christ the king, and we want to help the hearers become part of the kingly family.

If we reign in life today by allowing the divine life to reign in us, we will be rewarded with reigning with Christ in the coming age for one thousand years, and for eternity, the portion of all God’s redeemed is to rule and reign with Christ.

In eternity, the believers in Christ as sons of God and as the constituents of the New Jerusalem will all be kings; the angels will be serving us (Heb. 1:13-14), and we will reign forever and ever! Hallelujah!

Lord Jesus, we praise You as the King coming to reign over all the earth! Hallelujah, Jesus Christ is King! Amen, Lord, You are the unique and rightful Owner of the earth and all things in it, for You paid the price on the cross to purchase the entire earth so that Your kingdom may be established in it! Jesus Christ is the King and the Owner of the earth! We recognise Your ownership and Your kingship. Amen, Lord, the earth and all that is in it belongs to you! Though the enemy usurps it, we stand here for You, and we enthrone You as our King. We open to receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness so that we may reign in life through Christ! May we be those who reign in life today by being under the rule of the divine life. Amen, Lord, as we do this and that, we want to behave and live in the mingled spirit to be Your representatives, members of the royal family. Praise the Lord, today we can reign in life so that, when Christ returns, we may be the overcomers reigning with Him for one thousand years! Hallelujah, in eternity all the believers as sons of God and as constituents of the New Jerusalem will be kings with Christ! Praise the Lord, Christ and His overcomers will reign forever and ever!

We need to remember that we are members of the royal family, kings of the kingly family. Even when we are at a restaurant, we should remember that we are kings eating there. We are heaven-born kings; hence, we should never sell our royal status. If we consider that we are kings, we would not act lightly, talk loosely, or behave meanly. We can even preach the gospel with this in view. We may tell others that we are kings. Then we may start our preaching of the gospel by saying, “The Bible tells me that, as a child of God, I am a king.” There are many ways to preach the gospel. We need this kind of vital preaching of the gospel. In eternity the believers as sons of God and as the constituents of the New Jerusalem will all be kings. The angels will be serving ones (Heb. 1:13-14), serving us. They are the servants of the royal family, and we are kings over the nations. This is the kingdom of God in eternity.

Dear brother, we may experience and enjoy Christ as the eternal King. Soon, the kingdom of the world will become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.

Jesus Christ is our King, and He will reign and rule in the millennial kingdom and in the new heaven and new earth for eternity.

We also will reign with Him, for the overcomers will reign with Christ for a thousand years and all saved ones will reign forever and ever in eternity.

May we reign in life today, realising that we are children of God, kings with Christ!

Oh Lord Jesus, we praise You as our King! We enthrone You! Jesus Christ is Lord! We want to live a kingly life today so that, when You return, we would rule and reign with You as Your overcomers!

At the sounding of the seventh trumpet, not only will the great tribulation end, but also this age will close, the mystery of God will be finished, and another age, the age of the kingdom, the millennium, will begin.

The kingdom of the world becomes the kingdom of Christ at His coming back.

Christ will claim His rightful ownership over the earth and He will reign forever and ever with His overcomers as His co-kings. This reigning in the kingdom age is this issue and the consummation of our reigning today in this age through the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness unto eternal life. We have born in the kingly family and members of the royal family. The New Jerusalem is a kingdom of kings and we will be kings over the nations and the angels will be our servants.

Oh King of kings and Lord of lords we praise You and thank You. What va privilege to be co-kings with You in the coming age and in the new heaven and new earth for eternity. May really know what it means to have You as the King in this age. May we be those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Yes, we are people of His kingdom and members of the royal family.

Therefore, wherever we go and do something, we must walk and act as a co-king. In other words, we, on a daily basis, need to experience Him, enjoy Him, and express Him.

This means that as long as He is our King, we must live a kingly life so that we will reign together eternally. Praise the Lord for His mercy upon us.

He shall reign over the earth and we shall reign with Him! Amen!

The meek will inherit the earth! We need to declare “Every inch of this earth belongs to Christ.

We do not agree that any part belongs to anyone else! Christ is the unique Owner and He is coming back to take possession of the earth! Amen!

Lord possesses more of the earth today! Gain more of You overcomers today! Make us such ones who bring Your kingdom to earth and reign with You for a thousand years! Amen!

Our destiny as believers is to be kings of the Earth. The Lord is the proper Owner of the Earth; every inch of this Earth belongs to Him and, one fine day, He will take back possession from the usurping hand of Satan.

He and we will reign forever & ever.

However, we must not forget that this reigning is the issue of our reigning in life now by the grace & righteousness of Christ.

Just like current earthly royal children, we are in a process of growth, but, nevertheless, we are members of the eternal royal family with the potential to be kings.

We are for God and His interests. In life, we can defeat Satan and all his cronies in the heavenlies. Come, Lord Jesus!

God intends to finally recover His right of ownership and possession of the earth.

The temporary rule & usurpation of Satan & his host will cease as his kingdom. Hallelujah, the kingdom of the world becomes the kingdom of God & our Lord and of His Christ and He shall reign forever and ever, Amen!

In the final blessing of God to His redeemed, believers “will reign forever and ever!”
Oh, may we be those who endure to reign with Him unto eternal life!

May this blessing as sons of God and as the constituents of the New Jerusalem to be kings, be an incentive for us today, to be conscious, guard & maintain our royal and kingly status wherever we are and do!

Amen to the enjoyment of His life in grace, transfusing all that He is into our being so we can live by His life to reign in life today, for our reward as overcomers tomorrow! Overcome in us, Lord!

Dear brother, when the seventh trumpet sounds the great tribulation is ended, and the age of the millenial Kingdom begins!

Although the earth today is under the usurping hand of Satan, and we are now living in the kingdom of the world, our destiny is to reign with our Lord and Christ the King of Kings.

Now we need to remember we are members of a divine royal family to live a life that befits such a kingly status even in preaching the gospel, that we might reign with Christ in the Kingdom age and with all the saved ones in the new heaven and new earth for eternity!

Hallelujah! Amen! We are children of God and kings with Christ to reign in life today and with Him forever in eternity!
