Church Life issues from the Unlimited and Immeasurable Christ Making His Home in us

The Christ who is making His home in our heart is the unlimited and immeasurable Christ, and He is filling us with Himself unto all the fullness of God to issue in the genuine church life; we need to let Christ make His home in our heart for the building up of the church as the Body of Christ for His corporate expression.

Lord Jesus, we open to You and we allow You to make Your home in our heart today. Go deeper in us. Strengthen us into our inner man with power through the Spirit so that Christ may make His home in our hearts through faith. Amen, Lord, may we enjoy and experience the unlimited and immeasurable Christ so that the church may be built up and God may obtain a corporate expression of Himself! Amen!

We believers in Christ need to continue steadfastly in prayer and in the ministry of the Word.

First, we need to continue steadfastly in prayer, and then we need to continue steadfastly in the ministry of the Word. We need to be men of prayer, realising that we are nothing and can do nothing.

We exercise our spirit to contact God the Spirit, so that we may breathe in God, absorb God, and inhale God.

Genuine prayers are prayers that are mingled with God the Spirit in our spirit, for true prayers are the issue of the Spirit of God being mingled with man’s spirit.

May we pray genuine prayers that are initiated by God and that touch God by praying in the Holy Spirit by the exercise of our spirit.

May we learn to pray a most lofty and spiritual prayer, the prayer of authority; this is to bind and loose on earth what God has bound and loosed in the heaven.

As we continue steadfastly in prayer, we can also continue in the ministry of the Word; this means that we need to dig deep in God’s word and find out not just the meaning of the word but even more, the spiritual application and implication of the Word of God.

For example, in Ephesians 3 we see Paul’s prayer that the Father would strengthen us by His Spirit into our inner man so that Christ may make His home in our heart.

This prayer is not only wonderful: it is very deep, very much related to our experience.

We need to let Christ spread in our heart so that He may make His home in us and we would have Him as our person. If we take Christ as our person in our hearts, the person living in our hearts will not be the self but Christ.

The Unlimited and Immeasurable Christ is Making His Home in our Heart until we are Filled unto All the Fullness of God

Christ is making His home in our heart (Eph. 3:17). The Christ who is making His home in our heart is an unlimited, immeasurable Christ (Eph. 3:18). He is not just a simple, meek, kind, and mild Christ; He is unlimited and immeasurable.

As we allow Christ to spread in us by taking Him as our person, we are inwardly filled with Him and we’re full of strength to apprehend with all the saints what the breadth and length and height and depth are.

This means that we not only enjoy and experience Christ vertically but also horizontally, even three-dimensionally.

Our experience of Christ becomes three-dimensional, like a cube. We see this in type in the Old Testament, where the Holy of Holies in both the tabernacle and the temple was a cube.

The dimensions of the Holy of Holies in the tabernacle were ten cubits, and in the Temple it was twenty cubits.

Even more, the New Jerusalem will be an eternal cube, twelve thousand stadia in three dimensions. The church life today must be a “cube”, and our experience of Christ in the church must be “cubical”, that is, three-dimensional.

If our experience of Christ is one-dimensional, only us and Him vertically, we can fall and we can be broken; but when it is three-dimensional, like a cube, we cannot fall or be broken.

May we open to the Lord and allow the unlimited and immeasurable Christ to make His home in our heart so that He may fill us unto all the fullness of God.

This implies the fact that, when we have certain memories that we cannot get rid of, when we want to forget certain things in the past which the Lord’s blood has cleansed and we have dealt with, we simply allow Christ to make His home in our heart.

The unlimited and immeasurable Christ wants to fill not only the entire universe but also our personal universe, the universe of our inner being.

We need to learn to be in the Body, enjoying Christ with all the saints, to enjoy Him making His home in our heart through faith.

As Christ makes His home in our hearts, we apprehend with all the saints the breadth, the length, the height, and the depth; these are the dimensions of the universe, the dimensions of the immeasurable Christ.

The Lord wants to lead us into the depths of what He is, into the depths of the riches of God in Christ.

He wants us to enjoy and experience the depths of Christ, the breadth and length of Christ, and the heights of Christ.

We should not examine ourselves but we should just open to Him to allow Him to make His home in our heart so that we may enjoy and experience the unlimited and immeasurable Christ until we are filled with all the fullness of God.

The Lord wants to go deeper in us both personally and corporately; He wants to make His home deep down in the depths of our being so that He may settle down in us.

He wants to saturate and permeate us as the unlimited and immeasurable Christ until we are filled unto all the fullness of God.

This is why many times we have health problems, we go through sufferings, we are very limited, and we are unfairly treated; in all these things we can open to the Lord and allow Him to make His home in our heart.

Gradually, Christ is making His home in our heart and the immeasurable Christ infuses us with all that He is so that He may fill us unto all the fullness of God.

The result of apprehending the dimensions of Christ and knowing the knowledge-surpassing love of Christ is that we are filled unto all the fullness of God.

We overflow with the riches of Christ, for we have Christ making His home in our heart and constituting Himself into us to make us the expression of His riches.

Lord Jesus, keep making Your home in our heart today! We open to You! May we be strengthened with power through the Spirit into the inner man so that Christ may make His home deep down in our heart! Amen, Lord, may we be full of strength to apprehend with all the saints what the breadth and length and height and depth are! Amen, Lord, we want to enjoy and experience the unlimited and immeasurable Christ making His home in our heart for the church! Spread in us! Fill us! Make Your home deep down in our heart. We open to You from the depths of our being. Amen, Lord Jesus, have access to the depths of our being so that we may know the depths of Christ. Bring us higher with You! Expand and enlarge our experience of Christ. May we have an enlarged three-dimensional experience of Christ! May we apprehend with all the saints what the universally vast riches of Christ are in our experience so that we may become the fullness of God! Amen, Lord, fill us with the fullness of God!

The Genuine Church Life is the Issue of the Unlimited and Immeasurable Christ Personally Making His Home in our Hearts

Thank the Lord that we can not only read the Bible but also dig deeper, with the help of the ministry of the age, to continue steadfastly in the ministry of the Word.

In Ephesians 3:16-22 we see a great treasure, a big gold mine, which requires our prayerful consideration.

We need to be strengthened by the Father with power through the Spirit into the inner man so that Christ may make His home in our heart through faith.

The Christ who makes His home in our heart is unlimited and immeasurable; although He is immeasurable, He is nevertheless making His home in our heart.

When He makes His home in our hearts, we will be filled unto all the fullness of God (v. 19).

Amen, we need to let Him fill us and saturate us with Himself so that He may fill us unto all the fullness of God.

The fullness of God is not only the riches of Christ but the enjoyment and filling of the riches of Christ to be the full expression of the Triune God.

The fullness of God is the Body of Christ as the expression of the Triune God to the uttermost; it is the ultimate consummation of the corporate expression of the Triune God.

The Body of Christ is the unlimited expression of the unlimited Christ.

If we enjoy Christ and let Him make His home in our heart, we as the Body of Christ will be filled with the unlimited and immeasurable Christ to be His fullness.

If we let Christ make His home in our hearts, if we cooperate with Him to let Him make His home in us, we will be filled with the Triune God to such an extent that we will become His full expression.

The issue of us allowing Christ to make His home in our hearts is that we have genuine church life.

The genuine church life is the issue of Christ personally making His home in our hearts to occupy every corner of our inner being.

The Lord Jesus promised that He will build His church (Matt. 16:18); He does this by making His home in our hearts as the unlimited and immeasurable Christ so that He may occupy us, saturate us, and permeate us.

If we all let Christ make His home in our heart so that He may possess, occupy, and saturate our entire being, we will be able to be built up with others in the Body (Eph. 2:21-22; 4:16).

The reality of the Body life is the inner experience of the indwelling Christ, the Christ who is unlimited and immeasurable.

As we all enjoy Christ and let Him make His home in us, we spontaneously have something of Christ to share with others for the building up of the Body of Christ.

The Body of Christ is the consummation of our enjoyment of the unsearchable riches of Christ and the consummation of the experience of the unlimited Christ making His home in our entire inward being. Amen!

The content of the church life is not merely us reading the Bible or having many meetings; it is the Christ whom we take as our person, the Christ who is wrought into our being.

This is why in our daily experience we need to let Christ make His home in our heart, for Him to be the very person living in us and being expressed through us. Amen!

If we want the word of the Lord Jesus in Matthew 16:18 concerning the building up of the church to be fulfilled, the church must enter into a state where we saints allow Christ to make His home in our hearts, possessing, occupying, and saturating our entire being.

We all need to do this in our Christian experience. The more Christ occupies our inner being, the more we are filled unto all the fullness of God, and we are able to be built up with others in the Body.

The genuine church life issues from us all allowing Christ to make His home in our heart so that He may occupy and saturate our mind, emotion, and will.

When we come together and share our portion of Christ, what we have enjoyed and experienced of Him, and how He made His home in us, we will build up the Body and we will be built up as the Body of Christ.

Together, we apprehend with all the saints in a corporate way what the breadth, the length, the height, and the depth of Christ are, and we are strong to know the knowledge-surpassing love of Christ.

Just as Christ is unlimited and immeasurable, as He makes His home in our heart, His love is also immeasurable, even knowledge-surpassing.

We may touch something of the Lord’s love today, but when we touch His love together and apprehend it with the saints, we will sense that His love is like a vast, immense ocean.

The result of apprehending the dimensions of Christ and knowing the knowledge-surpassing love of Christ is that we are filled unto all the fullness of God to be the rich corporate expression of God.

The riches of God not only are our constitution and enjoyment, but there’s the fullness of God being expressed in us and through us!

Lord Jesus, make Your home in our heart a little more today so that we may be filled unto all the fullness of God! Hallelujah, the fullness of God is the Body of Christ as the expression of the Triune God to the uttermost! Praise the Lord, the Body of Christ is the unlimited expression of the unlimited Christ! Amen, Lord, make Your home in our heart more today to such an extent that we are filled with the Triune God and become His full expression! We open to You. We let You make Your home in our heart. May we have the genuine church life today, the issue of the unlimited and immeasurable Christ personally making His home in our hearts! Amen, Lord, we take You as our person! Work Yourself into us! We allow You to make Your home in our hearts for the building up of the church. Occupy our inner being. Saturate us and permeate us. Fill us and occupy us to such an extent that we are built with others in the Body for God’s corporate expression! Amen, Lord, gain Your glorious corporate expression through us today as we personally allow the unlimited and immeasurable Christ to make His home in our heart! Amen!
