Come to the Triune God and His Word to be Delivered from the World lying in the Evil one

The whole world lies in the evil one and tries to draw us and entice us, and we need to know the power of the cross of Christ to be delivered from the world; furthermore, we need to come to the Triune God and to His word to be delivered from the world.

As believers in Christ who love the Lord and yearn for Him to return soon to take us to be with Himself and bring in justice and righteousness, we need to know what the world is, and we need to be delivered from the world.

Today we are in this world but are not of this world; we live in this world but do not belong to this world, nor are we part of this world.

Even more, there is no future for us in this world, for this world and its lust passes away, but he who does the will of God abides forever.

We do not love the world because the world is not lovable; we do not love the world because the world is anti-God, against God and the people of God.

The Lord has captured our heart, He is our Beloved, yet He is not here in this world; He is coming soon, and our only hope is in Him.

As we live on this earth and do the things we need to do in this world, we feel that our Lord is not here.

There is a lot of injustice, inequality, and unrighteousness being done today, and it seems that the Lord does not respond nor does He bring in justice at this present time.

We are like a widow, waiting for the Lord’s return to bring in justice and to bring us to be with Himself forever.

The world is so attractive and attracting, but we love the Lord so much that we only want Him, not what the world has to offer.

The things of the world may be lovely and attractive, but we don’t have a heart for such things, for our heart is with the Lord.

Our unique pursuit is for Christ Himself, and our only hope and expectation is Christ and His return.

Others may mistreat us and even mock us, asking us where is our Husband and what can He do about this or that situation, and all we can do is pray and be one with the Lord in our daily living.

Our trust is not in the world or the things in this world, for we know that this world has crucified our Beloved. Christ is our only hope and expectation.

And we wait for Him, being full of love for Him; on the other hand, we do not love the world, for if there’s love for the world in us, love for the Father is not in us.

May the Lord fill us with such an eager expectation for His return.

May we be those who love the Lord’s appearing to such an extent that nothing in this world can distract us from the enjoyment of Christ day by day.

May we see the world for what it is and may we come to the Triune God and to His word, allowing the cross of Christ to operate in us to deliver us from the world, who lies in the evil one.

Knowing the Power of the Cross of Christ to be Delivered from the World that lies in the Evil one

As we grow up and live in this world, we realize we need so many things in this world; however, 1 John 5:19 clearly says that the whole world lies in the evil one.

We need to use the things in the world and we need to own certain things, but we cannot be under their control and usurpation.

We need to realize that we, believers in Christ, have been begotten of God and are out of God, possessing His life and partaking of His nature.

Because we are born of God and have His life and nature, we are separated unto God from the satanic world, which lies in the evil one.

The whole world lies in the evil one. The world comprises the satanic world system (2:15) and the people of the world, the fallen human race.

The whole world – both the satanic system and the people who are part of the system – lies in the evil one.

This means that the world is like a patient on the table, anaesthetized, unconscious, simply lying there to be operated on by the surgeon.

Satan can do whatever he wants to do in this system he has devised, for the whole world with the people in it are drugged and stupefied by this age and simply allow him to do what he wants to do.

However, we as believers in Christ need to know the power of the cross of Christ to be delivered from the world that lies in the evil one.

We are living persons, full of the life of God, and we do not lie passively in the sphere of the evil one’s influence.

Satan is the one who manipulates and operates freely in the evil system he has created, and he does whatever he wants to do in the world and among the people who are in and of the world.

And Satan is an evil one; he is not merely evil in his character, being worthless and wicked, nor is he just worthless and corrupted, but he is pernicious, harmfully evil.

He is actively influencing others to be evil and vicious, and he affects others. In such a one the whole world lies.

We may think that we just talk about politics, education, literature, science, art, law, commerce, or music, but all these things are part of Satan’s kosmos, his world system, and through these, he usurps man from enjoying God.

We may appreciate and study the progress of these main matters in the world, and we may even get a degree in such things, but all this progress goes toward one direction: being completely anti-God.

The apostle John tells us that the ultimate goal of the development in the world is Antichrist with his kingdom (1 John 2:18, 22; 4:3; 2 John 7; Rev. 13).

Satan is using this material world with the men of the world to head up everything eventually in the antichrist and his kingdom.

When Antichrist comes, the world system will reach its zenith; the world that lies in the evil one will become fully anti-God and anti-Christian.

Today the world still seems so attractive and lovely, and the world comes to search us out.

There is a force among men that captivates men; everyone is talking about politics, inflation, the cost of living, the pandemic, sports, news, and so many other things. and these things occupy people and usurp them from loving God and enjoying Christ.

The world has advanced to such an extent that even in the church life some of the saints may be drawn into its grasp.

How much we need to know the power of the cross of Christ so that we may be delivered from the world today!

We are not strong enough in ourselves to stand against the world with its lusts; we need the cross to operate in us and clearly separate us from the world.

May we turn to the Lord again and again, and may we know the power of the cross of Christ operating in us to deliver us from the world, realizing that the whole world lies in the evil one, lying passively in the sphere of his usurpation and work.

Lord Jesus, grant us to see that the whole world lies in the evil one. Save us from passively being in the world and of the world, thus being under the influence and work of this pernicious and harmfully evil one. May we learn to turn to the Lord and allow the cross of Christ to operate in us to deliver us from the world. Lord Jesus, we love You! We come to You and we want to enjoy You! We want to live by Your life and partake of Your nature so that we may be separated unto God from the satanic world, which lies in the evil one. May we daily live and move by the life of God and not be passively lying under the usurping and manipulating hand of Satan! Amen, Lord, we do not want to love the world but rather, be delivered from the world by the power of the cross of Christ!

Come to the Triune God and to His Word to be Delivered from the Satanic World

May the Lord have mercy on us and show us that the whole world lies in the evil one.

This one is pernicious, harmfully evil, affecting others and influencing them to be evil and vicious.

Satan is dispensing his evil element into man today, for the world system and the people in the world lie passively under his influence and operation.

On one hand, God is dispensing Himself into those who willingly open to Him; on the other hand, Satan is also dispensing his poisonous element.

May we be those who come to the Triune God and to His word to receive more of the element of God, and may we remain closed toward Satan and his world system so that we do not receive his evil element (John 17:17-19).

Satan is utilizing the material world and the things in the world to eventually head up everything in the kingdom of the Antichrist, and every part of the world will become anti-God and anti-Christian.

Until that time comes, may we come to the Lord and spend time with Him day by day, and may we come to the Triune God and to His word to be delivered from the satanic world system!

The world today is like a big university with all kinds of departments; there are the departments of fashion, food, cars, clothing, transportation, education, sports, news, etc.

Everything related to the human life has become a system and an industry, and Satan has systematized every aspect of our life to distract us from the enjoyment of Christ.

May the Lord open our eyes to see what the world is, and may He capture our hearts so that we love not the world but love the Lord.

The world denotes not only the material universe created by God but even more, the fallen human race corrupted and usurped by Satan, and the anti-God world system set up by Satan to usurp the man created by God for the fulfilment of His purpose.

Take breakfast, for example; we need to have a good, healthy breakfast in the morning to have a good start to the day, but there are so many options with so much marketing around them that this is a whole system.

Let’s say you want to do some fishing, so you look into it; there is an entire world system related to fishing, an entire fishing world with magazines, blogs, tools, tips, and all kinds of things.

Every single thing that we need, want or have is being systematized by Satan so that we not only use things for our daily living but are drawn into a system that distracts us from God.

Take transportation for example; there is not just one kind of car but many kinds of cars, many brands, many options, etc – there is a whole system!

Everything in this world has been systematized by Satan to become a system that distracts man from enjoying Christ and fulfilling the purpose of God.

Every single thing, especially the positive things, has been systematized by Satan to be part of his world system that usurps man from partaking of what God is (Eph. 1:13; 1 Cor. 6:11).

The only One that is not systematized by Satan is the Triune God, and His word is also pure and uncompromised or systematized.

We need to come to the Triune God again and again, and we need to come to His word.

By being in His word and by contacting the Triune God, we will be purified, the world with its system will lose its grip on us, and we will love the Lord more.

The more we love the Lord by coming to the Triune God and to His word, the less we will love the world.

The more we come to the Triune God and contact Him, and the more we spend time in the Word of God with our heart turned to Him and our spirit exercised, the more we are delivered from the world system and are brought fully into the economy of God to build up the church as the Body of Christ consummating in the New Jerusalem.

Lord Jesus, open our eyes to see what the world really is and capture our hearts to love You more and more! Amen, Lord, we come to the Triune God and to His word to be filled with the element of God and to love the Lord with our best love. Hallelujah, the Triune God and His word are not part of the satanic world system, and we can come to God and enjoy Him in the word so that we may be delivered from the world! Lord, You are our only hope. Our only hope is in the Triune God and His word. Operate in us day by day to deliver us from the satanic world system that usurps man from enjoying God and fulfilling His purpose. We are here for You, dear Lord Jesus! We are created in God’s image and filled with God’s life to express God and represent God! We are not here to achieve and obtain anything in this world; we’re here to be delivered from the world with its usurpation and live one spirit with the Lord for the building up of the church as the Body of Christ consummating in the New Jerusalem!
