Christ died on the cross for us, the persons, that we may live to God; He was made sin for us, He came into us to constitute us, and He is making us God’s righteousness in the organic union with Christ, and as we receive rich supply of the Spirit, we become transparent, knowing God’s will and being right with God and with all things and persons.
Lord Jesus, thank You for dying for us on the cross. Thank You for dying for our sins, taking all our sins upon Yourself to deal with them and remove them. We apply Your precious blood today. Wash us and cleanse us. Thank You for dying for us, the persons, the sinners, so that we may no longer live to ourselves but to God. Amen, Lord, we open to You; apply the cross to our natural being so that we may live to God, in the organic union with Christ, to be made God’s righteousness in Christ! Amen!
It is amazing to see that the ministry of reconciliation brings us back to God to such an extent that we become the righteousness of god in Christ (see 2 Cor. 5:21). Wow!
First of all, we were not righteous; none of us was righteous, not even one. But Christ, the righteous One, came and died for us on the cross, and by repentance and faith in Him, we take Christ as our righteousness.
Wow, a sinner who repents and believes into Christ can be justified by God by having Christ as his righteousness!
He covers us as our glorious dress, our best robe, to qualify us before God. This is how we can fellowship with God: by being in Christ as our righteousness.
Even today, when we sin, we can confess our sins and apply the blood of Christ, and our fellowship with God is restored, for Christ covers us as our righteousness. How wonderful!
But there is one more step of being reconciled to God: we need to be not just covered by Christ as our righteousness but even more, become the righteousness of God in Christ!
Wow, we can become God’s righteousness in the organic union with Christ!
This means that Christ not only covers us before God by faith in an objective way but He works Himself into us by means of the ministry of the Spirit who gives life so that He may live in us and make us righteous in fact.
In our daily living, we need to be made righteous. This is not by our trying to perfect ourselves or improve our behaviour; this is by being under the ministry of righteousness, which is the new covenant ministry of the Spirit who gives life.
The more we remain under this ministry, the more we’re infused with Christ with the result that we express God and have Christ as our lived-out righteousness. Praise the Lord!
Christ Died as our Substitute for us, the Sinners, to Constitute us God’s Righteousness in the Organic Union with Christ
When Christ died for us on the cross, He died as our Substitute; we should have died, but Christ came and died for us.
When He was there dying on the cross, God considered Him not only as sin-bearer but even more, sin itself; God made Christ sin to die on our behalf as our Substitute. Wow!
Praise the Lord for the substitutionary death of Christ! We can never understand this in full, but we can receive this fact by faith and we can apply it to our Christian experience today!
After His death, He entered into resurrection, and in resurrection Christ comes into us as life.
He comes into us as the life-giving Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45; 2 Cor. 3:17) to be our life and live within us to constitute us into God’s righteousness in the organic union with Christ. Praise the Lord!
In substitution, Christ was made sin for us; now in His constitution we become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Cor. 5:21). This is amazing!
It is amazing not only that Christ died for us as our Substitute but even more, that He comes into us to constitute us God’s righteousness in Christ!
We are not made God’s righteousness apart from Christ but in Christ; this means that we’re in an organic union with Christ. This righteousness is not only positional but also organic in resurrection.
By faith in Christ we are joined to Him organically to be one with Him as one spirit (1 Cor. 6:17); in this organic union with Christ, He constitutes Himself into us to make us God’s righteousness in Him.
We are so short of righteousness. We are not right with God, with others, with things, and even with ourselves.
But as we remain open to the Lord and enjoy the ministry of the Spirit who gives life, we are constituted with Christ, and He lives in us to make us the righteousness of God.
May we realise that Christ died not only for our sins but even more, for us the sinners. He died on the cross so that our outer man, our natural being, may be terminated in order that we may become God’s righteousness.
Thank the Lord that today we are under the ministry of the new covenant which brings us back to God to such an extent that we actually become God’s righteousness.
This ministry is of the Spirit and of righteousness, and it works out a condition of righteousness in us personally, in the church corporately, and in the millennial kingdom in the next age.
Today we can have a foretaste of the righteousness of the kingdom in the church life and in our family life. In our personal life, in our family life, and in the church life, God wants to make us the righteousness of God in the organic union with Christ.
If we remain open to the Lord and allow Him to constitute us with Christ on the positive side and to put to death the natural man on the negative side, Christ will live in us and will be expressed through us.
The fruit of the new covenant ministry is to produce righteousness, even to produce us as God’s righteousness in the organic union with Christ.
When Christ died on the cross, God condemned Him in the flesh as sin for us (Rom. 8:3; John 3:14) so that we might be one with Him in His resurrection to be God’s righteousness. Amen!
It is in the organic union with Christ that we are made God’s righteousness. Christ is the instrument, and the cross is the means, and the Body is the scope for us to experience this kind of further reconciliation.
We need to not only appreciate the Lord and thank Him that He died for our sins but even more, realise that He died for us, the sinners, so that we may no longer live to ourselves but to Him (2 Cor. 5:14-15).
We live to Him by being open to Him and allowing Him to live in us.
We need to be reconciled further to God so that we may no longer live in ourselves, in the natural man, or in the flesh, but live in our spirit, one with the Lord, for Him to live in us and be expressed through us. In our daily living, we ned to learn to remain in the organic union with the Lord.
As we open to Him, He shines on us, He exposes our living in the self and in the natural man, and we agree with His light.
On the negative side, there’s the exposing, condemning, and rejecting of the natural man, the self, the flesh, and the natural being.
On the positive side, there’s the constituting of the Spirit into us, the mingling of God and man, so that we may become God’s righteousness in Christ.
When we become God’s righteousness in the organic union with Christ, we are fully reconciled to God and we are fully saved.
Lord Jesus, thank You for dying for us, the sinners, so that You may come into us and live in us! Hallelujah, the love of Christ constrains us as we see that He died for all, therefore all died! Thank You, dear Lord, for dying for us the sinners so that we may no longer live to ourselves but to You! Praise the Lord for the substitutionary death of Christ on the cross! Amen, Lord, You were made sin for us, and now as the Spirit You are constituting us and living in us to make us God’s righteousness in Christ! We open to You today. We want to live in the organic union with You in our spirit. Constitute us with Yourself. Work Yourself into us. Expose our living in the self, the natural man, the flesh, the natural being. Oh Lord, we say Amen to what You expose, and we condemn what comes from our natural being. Constitute us more with Yourself to make us God’s righteousness in the organic union with Christ! Live in us today! Be expressed through us today! May Christ be our lived-out righteousness today!
Becoming God’s Righteousness in Christ is being Right with God in our Being, having an Inner Being that is Transparent and Crystal Clear in the Mind and Will of God
If we check with our conscience at this very moment, we may sense that we are not right with God.
We are right with Him positionally, objectively, for we can apply the precious blood of Christ to be cleansed and washed from all our sins (1 John 1:9).
But in our daily living, in the way we speak, in the things we do, and in the activities we choose to be involved in, we may not be right with God.
Many times our conscience bothers us that we’re saying something or getting involved in something that is not right with God.
Outwardly, we may not do something sinful in a gross way, and we may still live as a good, moral, and ethical person. But inwardly we know that we’re not right with God.
To become the righteousness of God in Christ is a matter of being right with God in our being. This means that we have an inner being that is transparent and crystal clear, an inner being in the mind and will of God.
We need to be right with God in our being. What does it mean to be right with God in our being? How does this apply to our Christian experience?
It is to live in the mingled spirit so that our inner being may be transparent and clear for Christ to be seen in us, magnified in us, and living in us (Phil. 1:21; Gal. 2:20).
We need to remain under the Lord’s dispensing day by day, opening our being to Him to experience the Spirit of life living and working within us; this will make us God’s righteousness in the organic union with Christ.
Spontaneously, our inner being is transparent, crystal clear, and we know God’s heart.
We know what He wants us to do, we open to Him, and we let Him do it in us. Without any effort, when we’re in our spirit, we have a clear understanding concerning God’s will and work.
Many Christians think that, when they do something wrong, they are not right with God; this is correct, but even when we don’t do anything wrong, we may still not be right with God.
When our being is not in the mind and will of God, when we do not live in the organic union with Christ, we are not right with God.
We can like this to a person going to school; he may diligently be present in all the classes, but he may be absent-minded, not paying attention to the classes, and not really being present and listening to what the teacher is speaking.
Outwardly, he is in all the classes, and he has no absence; inwardly, however, he is not cooperating with the school to be trained.
Many believers in Christ are saved by God and have Christ as their righteousness objectively, but they do not have Christ lived out of them subjectively as their subjective righteousness.
May we open to the ministry of the Spirit who gives life so that we may be infused and saturated by the life-giving Spirit!
As we open to Him, receive Him, and enjoy Him, our inner being will become transparent. We will know what is in the Lord’s mind, we will know God’s will (Rom. 12:2), and we will understand what He wants to do in us.
We will spontaneously be in His will, and we will be right with God. We will know how to act toward others, how we should deal with our material possessions, and how we should behave.
We will become a righteous person, a person who is right in small things as well as in great things. We will become a person who is right with God, right with others, right with things, and right with himself.
We will become a person who expresses God, for his righteousness is the image of God, God Himself expressed. Such a person is transparent, crystal clear, and Christ is lived out in him.
Lord Jesus, we fully open our being to You! Constitute us with Yourself more today. Work Yourself into us. Fill and saturate our mind, emotion, and will with Yourself as life. We open to the inner working and operating of the Spirit of life. Amen, Lord, may You have a way to constitute us with Yourself and live in us! Make our whole being transparent and crystal clear so that You may be seen through us in our daily living. Bring us into an inner knowledge and understanding of the will of God. May we be in God’s will and do God’s will. We want to remain in the organic union with Christ today so that we may become God’s righteousness in Christ! Amen, Lord, may our whole being be right with God, with others, with things, and with ourselves. Make us persons who express God, those whose righteousness is the image of God, God expressed! Oh Lord Jesus, we give ourselves to You today! Fully align our being with Your being. Live in us and be expressed through us! Amen!

Thank the Lord that He died not only for our sins to be forgiven but even more, He died for us, the persons; He was made sin on our behalf on the cross.
Now He is in us to constitute us as the Spirit and to live in us. As we experience the Spirit living and working within us, we become righteous: we become God’s righteousness in the organic union with Christ.
We are crystal clear and transparent in our being, being clear of God’s will and mind for us, and we live Christ.
Christ died for our sins that we may be forgiven by God but also that we may become the righteousness of God. When what we do is according to His mind and will we are righteousness.
Spontaneously, our spirit is clear. This is the way to be right with God. Even if we don’t do anything wrong, we will not feel right until we are doing His will.
Brother, Christ’s ministry of righteousness abounds with glory for us.
Christ didn’t just die for our sins; He died for us, so that we may become the righteousness of God.
The ministry of the new covenant carried out by the Spirit in us will work out a condition of righteousness in us as individuals, then in the church, and then in the millennial kingdom.
Even when we do nothing wrong outwardly, our being may not be in the mind & will of the Lord.
However, as a result of experiencing the Spirit living & working in us, we will spontaneously become right in small details and in great things, right with God, with others and with ourselves.
