As the bridal army of the Lord who deals with God’s enemy, we need to be empowered in the Lord with the greatness of the power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the heavenlies, realising that the warfare is between us who love the Lord and who are in His church and the evil powers in the heavenlies.
Oh Lord, we stand one with You in the spiritual warfare – empower us in the Lord and in the might of His strength! Amen!
We believers in Christ are those who love the Lord, pursue Him in love, and live a romantic Christian life, always contacting the Lord and opening to Him so that He may be dispensed into us for our growth in life.
We just love the Lord Jesus, and we are like crazy lovers of Jesus, for in everything and above everything, we pay attention only to the Lord, not to anything outward!
Because we love the Lord, we realise that the enemy of God, Satan, is present, and he does many things to try to usurp us and hinder us from going on with the Lord.
Even more, Satan raises up against God and His plan, and he seeks to devour the saints, damage the church, and bring in death and degradation into the church.
So we stand one with the Lord as His bridal army, fighting for Him and His interests here on the earth. On the one hand, we are the bride of Christ; on the other hand, we are His army.
We are His bridal army, as seen in Revelation 19. This is not just something that we will be one day when the Lord returns; we are learning to be such ones today.
We come to the Lord in His word to enjoy Him and be sanctified by the washing of the water in the Word. And we open to the Lord to be strengthened and empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength.
We do this not just by ourselves as individuals; we do this as a corporate group of overcoming saints, for we are being built together into one Body, the Body of Christ.
We realise that there is a second will in the universe besides God’s will; Satan’s will rises up and is set against the divine will.
As those who love the Lord, we stand for His interest on the earth and we fight the battle in the Lord and in the Body so that the enemy would be subdued and his kingdom would be displaced.
At the same time that we walk according to truth and grace and live in love and light, we also fight to subdue the satanic will.
This is not because we are strong in ourselves; rather, we depend on the Lord, we are empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength, and we stand in the Body to fight the spiritual warfare.
We need to be Empowered in the Lord and in the Might of His Strength to Deal with God’s Enemy

Before we can put on the whole armour of God, seen in Ephesians 6:10-20, we first need to be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength.
As loving seekers of the Lord who aspire to be the Lord’s overcomers and therefore be part of His bridal army, we stand one with the Lord on the earth today.
We realise that God has an enemy, and we realise our need to be empowered in the Lord. We don’t fight the spiritual warfare in our own strength and power.
In ourselves, we cannot fight the spiritual warfare against Satan and his evil kingdom; we can only fight in the Lord and in the might of His strength.
When we look at the Greek word for “empowered”, we realise it has the same root word as for “powers” in Ephesians 1:19.
This means that, in order for us to deal with God’s enemy, we need to be empowered with the greatness of the power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the heavenlies, far above all the evil spirits in the air (Eph. 1:19-22; 6:10).
There was an amazing, great power which operated in the Lord to raise Him from the dead, ascend Him to the third heavens, seat Him in the heavenlies, and subject all things under His feet; it is with this power that we need to be empowered in the Lord.
We cannot fight the spiritual warfare unless we are empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength.
Satan and his kingdom actively and continually fight against God and His kingdom; when we are in ourselves, we’re defeated, but when we’re empowered in the Lord, we can overcome the enemy. Praise the Lord!
This charge to be empowered in the Lord clearly shows us that in ourselves we can’t fight the spiritual warfare against Satan and his kingdom; we can fight only in the Lord and in the might of His strength.
Amen, may we be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength!
This charge of being empowered implies the need for us to exercise our will.
If we would be empowered for spiritual warfare, our will must be strong and exercised (Song of Songs 4:4; 7:4).
We may think that having a strong will is not good, for the Lord cannot do much if our will is strong.
However, based on what the New Testament shows us, God needs a strong will, especially when it is subdued and brought into resurrection.
Saul of Tarsus had a strong will and determination, and he was clear what he wanted to do in Damascus; however, the Lord met him and subdued him, and then the Lord had a way in Paul and through Paul.
Our repentance requires the exercise of the will; being empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength also involves our will.
Many times, however, our will is too soft; we are not empowered in the Lord but rather, we are like a jellyfish, always being moved or taken places by things happening around us or by our feelings and thoughts.
The Lord cannot use someone whose will is not strong in the Lord, that is, someone whose will is not one with the Lord, having passed through death and resurrection.
We need to be empowered with the power that raised Jesus from the dead and caused Him to be ascended physically to the right hand of God!
He was raised from the dead – it requires a lot of power to overcome death! Then, He ascended to the third heavens, the highest place in the universe!
This power is already toward us, toward the church, for Christ was made Head over all things to the church, and He is transmitting this power into us constantly and continually.
If we see it, we get it; if we don’t exercise our spirit to be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength, we don’t get it.
When we come to the prayer meeting of the church, we need to be the powerful warrior of God who exercises his will to be one with the Lord, exercises his spirit to be burning in flame, and is empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength!
We don’t go to the prayer meeting in a defeated way, just dragging ourselves to the meeting to pray with the saints; we go to the prayer meeting with much praise, shoutings, and declarations that Jesus Christ is Lord and He has won the victory!
We exercise our spirit to be empowered in the Lord and we are triumphant as we pray from the heavenlies, being seated with the Lord there. Praise the Lord!
Lord Jesus, we love You and we stand one with You on earth today for Your interests on the earth. We pray for Your kingdom to come and for Your will to be done. Amen, Lord, may we be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength for the spiritual warfare today. Hallelujah, the power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the heavenlies far above all things, this same power is now toward the church! Amen, Lord, we exercise our spirit to receive the divine transmission of the fourfold power so that we may be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength! Hallelujah, the divine power is in our spirit! Amen, Lord, may we see this and may we enter into this! We do not stand with how we feel. We do not look at our condition. We exercise our will to choose You. We exercise our spirit by fanning it into flame so that we may have a spirit of power and of love and of sobermindedness! Amen, Lord, may we be empowered in the Lord so that we may have a way to deal with Your enemy as the church!
The Warfare between the Church and Satan is a Battle between us who Love the Lord and who are in the Church and the Evil Powers in the Heavenlies

When we speak of spiritual warfare we need to realise that we do not fight against blood and flesh but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenlies (Eph. 6:12).
Outwardly, it may seem that a particular person or a group of people causes harm to the people of God, and particular situations or environments rise up to limit the spread of the Lord’s life.
However, the reality is that, behind people, situations, and circumstances, there are evil powers who actively fight against God and His kingdom.
On the one hand, we need to be empowered by the Lord in the might of His strength; on the other hand, we need to realise that our fight is against the evil powers in the heavenlies.
May the Lord shine on us and cause us to realise that spiritual warfare is not a matter of fighting against men.
We don’t fight against evil men or evil groups of people; we fight against the evil powers that are behind these men and groups of people.
The evil powers in the heavenlies instigate people to do things against God and His people, and they do things in the environment and the situations of the saints to hinder the Lord’s work in them.
The warfare between the church and Satan is actually a battle between us who love the Lord and who are in the church and the evil powers in the heavenlies.
We who love the Lord and are in the church are on the Lord’s side; we are God’s people, and the enemy attacks us both directly and indirectly.
Even though it might seem that there are people or things who oppose God and the church, it is actually the evil powers.
The rulers, the authorities, and the world rulers of this darkness are the rebellious angels, who followed Satan in his rebellion against God.
Satan gave them to rule in the heavenlies over the nations of the world; an example of this is the prince of Persia and the price of Greece in Daniel 10:20. These evil powers operate in the heavenlies, referring to the air (Eph. 2:2).
Because of their fall, they were cast down from God’s presence, the third heavens, and now they are in between the earth and the third heavens, in the heavenlies, that is, in the air.
But praise the Lord, we are not merely on the earth, under the air or the heavenlies, but we are seated with Christ in the third heaven, one with Him, far above all evil powers (Eph. 2:6).
Our real position is not on the earth, doing things here to the best of our ability; we are in the heavenlies, in the third heavens, seated together with Christ, and we are above the evil powers.
We need to see where we are and who we are. We are empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength, and we are seated with Christ in the third heavens, above the evil powers!
In fighting a battle, the position above the enemy is very important strategically. If we are merely on the earth, in our self or in the flesh, we are defeated by Satan.
But if we realise that we’re seated with Christ in the heavenlies, in the third heavens, being empowered by the Lord in the might of His strength, we realise that we’re one with the Lord and the enemy is under our feet!
When we see it, we get it; when we see who we are and what our position is, the enemy is defeated, for we have this in reality.
This is why the god of this age works to blind our eyes so that we do not see what the Lord is to us, what we are in the Lord, and the position we have in Christ! Oh Lord Jesus!
May we turn to the Lord and may we remain in our spirit, asking the Lord to give us the vision of where we are and who we are in Him, so that we may spontaneously defeat the enemy in the Lord!
Lord Jesus, we stand in You and we stand one with You on the earth today. We realise that our fight is not against flesh and blood but against the evil powers in the heavenlies. So we exercise our spirit, Lord, and we stand one with You in spirit. Hallelujah, though the enemy and his powers are in the heavenlies, we are seated with Christ in the third heavens! Praise the Lord, when we’re in our spirit, one with the Lord, we are in the third heavens, one with Christ in His ascension, and the enemy is under our feet! Amen, Lord, we love You and we love the church, and we want to be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength. May we see that we are not on the earth and even not in the heavenlies, but in the third heaven, far above all rule and power, one with the Lord! Amen, Lord, we stand one with You in Your victory. We declare Your victory. Jesus Christ is Lord! The enemy has been defeated! Hallelujah, God will soon crush Satan under the feet of the church! Praise the Lord!

For the spiritual warfare, we need to be empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength, even with the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the heavenlies! Amen!
And our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the evil powers in the heavenlies.
May we see that we are seated with Christ in the third heavens, far above the enemy!
Brother, how wonderful that God has preserved our will.
When we were saved, we had to exercise our will to receive the Lord.
We need to exercise our will to repent, in like manner, in order to be empowered in the Lord.
Being empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength involves our will. We cannot fight in ourselves, we can fight only in the Lord!
We cannot fight this spiritual warfare in ourselves; whenever we are in ourselves, we are defeated. We need to be empowered and our will strengthened.
To be the warrior-bride of Christ we must exercise our will to be empowered in the power & might of Jesus.
We do not fight against men of flesh & blood but against Satan and his evil spiritual forces hiding behind men.
If we remain in the resurrection power of Christ, we are seated in the third heaven, above the spiritual forces of darkness.
Only in this realm can we defeat Satan and his evil forces.
Amen. Let’s exercise our spirit brother.
In spiritual warfare, we believers need to realise that behind the facade of men of flesh and blood are the machinations of the cohort of spiritual angelic forces in the heavenlies, who, in rebellion with Satan against God, are operating.
Therefore, we cannot fight spiritual warfare in ourselves – we shall be defeated. We can only fight in the Lord and in the might of His strength.
That is why we need to be empowered with the greatness of the power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the heavenlies, far above all the evil spirits in the air. For this fight, we need a strong and exercised will.
We need to realize that our warfare is not against human beings but against the evil spirits, the spiritual powers in the heavenlies.
The warfare between the church and Satan is a battle between us who love the Lord and who are in His church and the evil powers in the heavenlies.
In order to deal with God’s enemy, we need to be empowered in our will with the greatness of the fourfold power that raised Christ from the dead, that seated Him in the heavenlies, far above all the evil spirits in the air, the subjecting and heading up power that subdued all things under His feet and made Him head over all things.
The genuine Church is fighting against the rebellious angels, who followed Satan just to keep the victory of Jesus on the cross.
