We need to Enjoy the Lord early in the Morning to be Revived and Renewed Day by day

But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, / Which shines brighter and brighter until the full day. Prov. 4:18

We need to enjoy the Lord early in the morning, day by day, so that we may be revived and renewed little by little, day by day.

As those who love the Lord and are preparing themselves for His return, we need to be renewed day by day, have a renewal that is fresh every morning, and maintain our victory by having a revived living, a living in constant contact with the Lord. Amen!

We need to take care of our heart so that it may be in a proper condition for the Lord’s return.

Our attitude should not be that the Lord delays, so we can enjoy the world with its things today, but that we yearn for the Lord to return soon.

We should not only look at the outward situation and see the signs of the Lord’s coming, thus realizing the fulfilment of the prophecies, but even more we need to be inwardly prepared for the Lord’s coming.

In order to make ourselves ready for the Lord’s coming, we need to have a certain kind of living.

Yes, we do need to know and give heed to the prophetic word as to a lamp shining in a dark place; even more, we need to live a life of preparing ourselves for the Lord’s coming.

Our whole being needs to be made ready for the Lord’s coming.

This means first that we need to remain in the Lord’s victory, declare and maintain His victory, and live an overcoming life day by day, being renewed day by day and living one spirit with the Lord daily.

Then, we need to do a work of shepherding, a labor of shepherding.

As we contact the Lord day by day and are renewed by Him, we will have something of Christ to minister to others; there will be an overflow of our enjoyment of the riches of Christ.

Christ has won the victory and has defeated the enemy; now we are joined to Him in spirit, and we exercise our spirit to remain in this organic union, thus remaining in the victory of Christ.

Because Christ, the overcoming One, lives in us, we can become the overcomers of the Lord.

We do not need to try to be overcomers; we simply need to live one spirit with the Lord and we will overcome.

We can declare that we are overcomers, for we are – in Christ and by Christ, we overcome. Because Christ overcame, we also overcome.

We are in His triumphant procession, the procession of His triumph; we stand in His victory, and we live an overcoming life day by day.

The revival we need to have is not a revival that Christianity has seen on and off, something that comes as a spiritual awakening and after a while it fades away.

We need to ask the Lord to revive His church, to revive His work in the midst of the years.

The revival in God’s work is not a kind of flourishing of your work or a success of your work; it is God Himself being expressed in Christ through the saints.

In His central work, God works Himself into us to fill us and shine forth radiantly from us until His splendour covers the earth.

May we be those who rise up a little early in the morning to enjoy the Lord, contact Him, and be revived and renewed by Him day by day.

Enjoy the Lord early in the Morning to be Revived and Renewed Every day

Then the righteous will shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear. Matt. 13:43

We believers in Christ are to be the Lord’s overcomers, those who are likened to the sun shining forth in the kingdom of their Father (Matt. 13:43).

The sun rises afresh every morning; we need to rise with the sun and spend time with the Lord.

We need to daily raise early to have morning revival with the Lord and be revived by Him, having a new start every morning (Prov. 4:18).

Our path should be like the dawning light that shines more and more until the full day, and it all starts in the morning in our time with the Lord.

We must enjoy the Lord early in the morning and have a new start each day (Psa. 119:147-148).

But unto you who fear My name will the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings, and you will go forth and leap about like well-fed calves. Mal. 4:2 May all Your enemies so perish, O Jehovah. / But may those who love Him be like the sun / When it rises in its might. And the land had rest forty years. Judg. 5:31Every day we have 24 hours; we need to have a new beginning every morning, contacting the Lord afresh.

Maybe yesterday you had many failures and last night you lost your temper; but this morning you can have a new beginning, a new morning revival with the Lord to be revived and renewed by Him.

Maybe you had an exchange of words with your spouse, but you repented, and the next morning you can have a new beginning.

This is a principle in God’s creation: every day is a new beginning, and we need to have a new morning revival every morning.

When we wake up in the morning, the first thing we should do is contact the Lord. We should simply thank Him for a new day.

We should turn our heart to Him and apply His precious blood to anything of the past.

Every morning we need to allow the Lord Jesus, our Sun, to rise up in us so that we can be renewed (Luke 1:78-79; Mal. 4:5; Judg. 5:31).

The Lord is the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings to all who fear the Lord’s name.

May the Lord rise up as the Sun in us every morning as we come to have a morning revival time with Him to be revived and renewed by Him.

We should therefore rise up early in the morning to fellowship with the Lord; as we come to Him, we can simply thank Him for a new beginning and ask Him to give us that day’s portion of grace.

We can take some verses in the word of God to pray and muse over, so that we may contact the Lord and enjoy Him.

We should not have a routine, however; our time with the Lord should not become a routine, something of a formality.

We have the Bible, and we have the Holy Word for Morning Revival, but these are only helpers for us to contact the Lord and be revived by Him.

We should not let anything replace the genuine revival in us.

As we open our being to the Lord, Christ as the Sun of righteousness will rise up in us.

As we read some verses and exercise our spirit to pray over the word of God, we are being revived and renewed by the Lord and we can partake of His riches.

This will supply us and grant us the portion of grace that we need for the day.

Our morning revival with the Lord is very important. In this time we can touch the Lord by praying to Him, calling on His name, and praying over His word.

Every day we need a renewal, and this renewal has to be refreshed day by day [cf. 2 Cor. 4:16]. What we need today is this kind of renewal in the inner life as opposed to a renewal in outward actions or expression. God has set up a natural law that the rising of the sun affords a new beginning and a fresh renewal every day…The same is true with our Christian life. Every morning we should allow the Lord Jesus, our Sun, to rise up in us so that we can be renewed. In order to achieve this, all of you should rise up early in the morning. But to rise up early, one must go to bed early… Early rising affords tremendous benefits for a Christian. Every morning when the sun rises up, it is time for us to rise up to fellowship with the Lord. We should pray to the Lord, “Thank You, Lord, for a new beginning. May this day be a memorable day in my life.” Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1988, vol. 4, “A Timely Trumpeting and the Present Need,” pp. 39-40We should not immediately start interceding and “working for the Lord” early in the morning; rather, our time with Him should be for us to be revived through our living contact with the Lord.

In a very sweet way, we can thank Him for giving us a new day to enjoy Him, and we can ask Him to just be with us that day.

Every day we need a renewal, and this renewal needs to be refreshed day by day.

Paul said that, though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.

Day by day we need to be renewed in our inner man (2 Cor. 4:16) through our living contact with the Lord.

Our Christian life should be filled with day-by-day being renewed by having morning revival with the Lord.

For us to rise up early in the morning to have a time with the Lord, it is important to go to bed on time; this is very practical.

May we go to bed on time and rise up in the morning a little earlier to spend time, at least fifteen minutes, with the Lord to have morning revival and be revived by Him.

Our time with Him should be for us to speak to Him and to receive His speaking; we want to touch Him and be touched by Him so that we may be revived and renewed.

Before we start the day, before we get into the things we need to do for the day, and before anything that we need to take care of in the morning, we need to have a good touch with the Lord.

No matter how busy we are and how important other things are, we need to set aside some time to contact the Lord and be revived and renewed by Him.

Lord Jesus, we love You and we want to be renewed day by day! Amen, Lord, we thank You that every morning we can have a new beginning with You. May every day be a memorable day in our life. May every morning we may have a new beginning, a fresh new start, in which we contact You and are revived by You. Revive us morning by morning. May we be those who contact You day by day, especially in the morning, so that we may be renewed day by day. Rise up in us, dear Lord, as the Sun of righteousness with healing in Your wings. Rise up in us every morning. Grant us to have a new beginning every morning, every day, so that we may be freshly filled with You every morning. We love You, dear Lord Jesus, and we love our time with You in the morning. We love to contact You and receive Your fresh speaking. We love to be renewed day by day. Oh Lord Jesus, we just love You!

Have a Revived Living by Offering Christ as our Burnt Offering and Loving the Lord with the Goal of Enjoying Him

And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it must not go out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and he shall lay the burnt offering in order upon it and shall burn the fat of the peace offerings on it. Fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out. Lev. 6:12-13 And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him. John 8:29Every morning we should offer up Christ as our burnt offering and peace offering, based upon His being our sin offering, so that we may have a new beginning (Lev. 6:12-13).

This we must do not only every day but also do it with sweetness and depth.

Every morning we need to turn our heart to the Lord and thank Him for a new day, and we need to come to the altar to take Christ as our sin offering.

We cannot enter into the Holy of Holies right away; we first need to take Christ as our sin offering and trespass offering to deal with all the problems related to sins and the nature of sin.

Then, based on this, we offer up Christ as our burnt offering and peace offering.

Every morning we need to lay our hands on Christ as the reality of all the offerings.

We are not qualified to live a life for God’s purpose, but Christ is.

We lay our hands on Him through prayer.

To take Christ as our burnt offering every morning is to take Him as the One who lived a life absolutely for God’s satisfaction and as the life that enables us to have such a living day by day (Lev. 1:9; 6:12-13; John 5:19, 30; 6:38; 7:18; 8:29).

With Him there is no defect, no spot, no weakness, no blemish; He is the perfect One, the absolute One. He is the only One who pleases God.

Every morning we come to the altar, apply Christ as the sin offering and trespass offering, and then we offer Him as the burnt offering, taking Him as the One absolute for God.

As we offer Christ as our burnt offering, we identify ourselves with Him, and He in us lives the same kind of life for the satisfaction of the Father.

On one hand, we need to have a morning revival with the Lord every morning to be revived and renewed by Him; on the other hand, our revival with the Lord causes us to take Christ as our burnt offering for Him to live in us.

His being becomes our being, His history becomes our history, and He lives in us.

Every day our testimony is that it is no longer we who live but Christ who lives in us, for we are crucified with Christ and He is our life and everything (Gal. 2:20).

May we learn to do this with sweetness and with depth.

May we “burn wood” on the altar every morning. May we exercise our spirit to never let the fire on the altar go out but rather, enjoy the Lord with sweetness and with depth.

May the Lord really shine and expose any formality or routine in our time with Him so that we may have a revived living, being renewed day by day.

But as it is written, "Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard and [which] have not come up in man's heart; things which God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Cor. 2:9 For the love of Christ constrains us because we have judged this, that One died for all, therefore all died; And He died for all that those who live may no longer live to themselves but to Him who died for them and has been raised. 2 Cor. 5:14-15 I pursue toward the goal for the prize to which God in Christ Jesus has called [me] upward. Phil. 3:14In order to have a revived living, we must be those who love the Lord to the uttermost and live to Him with the daily goal of having the fullest enjoyment and gaining of Christ (1 Cor. 2:9; 2 Cor. 5:14-15; Phil. 3:14).

Loving the Lord is not just a matter of our emotions or sentiment; it is spending time with Him whom we love.

If we love the Lord, we contact Him, we communicate with Him, we fellowship with Him, and we come near to Him.

How can we say that we love someone if we don’t come to them and spend time with them?

We love the Lord by having fellowship with Him and by allowing Him to have the first place in all things.

To love the Lord doesn’t mean that you try your best to please Him according to your thought; it is to come to Him and fellowship with Him to know Him personally and intimately.

To love the Lord is to live together with Him in a mutual living.

The goal of our loving the Lord is that we want to have the fullest enjoyment and gaining of Christ.

We leave all other things behind and we want to pursue Him, the One whom we love, to gain Him to the uttermost.

Lord Jesus, we take You as our sin offering, our trespass offering, and as our peace offering. We lay our hands on You, dear Lord, and we take You as our burnt offering to have a new beginning every day. We take You as the One who lived a life absolutely for God’s satisfaction. Live in us today a life that satisfies God. Amen, Lord, we love You! We want to love You to the uttermost. We want to live to You with the daily goal of having the fullest enjoyment and gaining of Christ. We give You the first place in all things by faith. We do not want to live to ourselves but to You. Amen, Lord, we want to live together with You in a mutual living today. We want to gain You to the fullest today so that You may live in us and we may live one spirit with You!

May this day be a memorable day in my life.”

On the one hand, we have such a fresh consecration and waiting before the Lord; on the other hand, we receive from Him fresh bestowals and enlightenings.

With all this freshness, we will naturally have a revival. This is what we call a morning-by-morning revival. It is also what Paul described as the renewing day by day. This renewal happens early every morning.

I hope that this matter would be practiced properly among us. All the co-workers with the elders should trumpet this call in all the places, awakening all the saints to go to bed early and rise up early.

As soon as we get up, we should have a good touch with the Lord. No matter how busy we are or how important other things are, we must put them aside until we have a touch with the Lord.

Our Christian life is not a one day matter, but rather it is a continuous move with our Lord as life giving Spirit mingled with our spirit.

Praise to Him for this wonderful life opportunity given to each member of His body.

Even every morning is a new gift of time from Him to enjoy Him too. As long as the life giving Spirit is in us, we cannot be stopped where we were yesterday, because our Lord is new every morning.

O Lord! Thank you for your mercy upon us to be with you all the time as the beloved children with authority. What a privileged unique people we are!

Yesterday morning we may have had a revival, but this morning we need another one, and tomorrow we need another one.

Every year we need three hundred sixty-five revivals to be renewed day by day.
