Faith is Christ Infused into us to Believe for us and Enable us to Taste and Touch God

And having the same spirit of faith according to that which is written, "I believed, therefore I spoke," we also believe, therefore we also speak. 2 Cor. 4:13

Faith is Christ infused into us to believe for us in a very subjective way; faith is a sixth sense, a substantiating ability by which we give substance to the things unseen or hoped for, and our spirit of faith is the organ by which we substantiate everything in the unseen spiritual world.

Hallelujah, we believers in Christ have seen something of Christ, and He infused Himself into us to be our believing ability by which we believe into Him and receive Him!

He is the Author of faith; faith doesn’t originate from us, and nothing of us is the source of faith, for faith is not of us. Faith is of Jesus Christ, for by His faith we live and walk.

When we first heard the gospel, we had a spontaneous reaction within; though we may not have understood everything we heard, there was an appreciation within us toward this wonderful person, Jesus Christ.

Sometimes we may even argue with the Lord and try to contradict what we hear from His word, but it’s too late: we are inwardly subdued, and the element of Christ is infused into us to become our believing ability.

As soon as we believe into the Lord Jesus, we become believers, and we start the Christian race, which is in faith and by faith.

We run the Christian race by putting away everything that hinders and frustrates us from running, and by looking away from all things unto Jesus!

The secret to running the Christian race and living the Christian life is not getting stronger spiritually so that we overcome sin and the world, but looking away unto Jesus.

When we look to Him, when we simply look into His face, we are infused with His divine element, and we can run the race with endurance.

When we don’t look away unto Jesus, it seems impossible for us to be a Christian, and the things the word of God speaks of seem so high and even impractical or unattainable.

Our Christian life and our Christian race are in the realm of the Spirit, the Spirit mingled with our spirit; we don’t live our Christian life by sight or by feeling but by faith.

Day by day we need to look away unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. He generates faith in us by infusing Himself into our being, and by Him as our faith, we believe into Him.

He cut the way of faith, He walked on the pathway of faith, and He reached glory, being approved by God and enthroned by Him far above all things.

Now we follow in His footsteps of faith, and He carries us through the pathway so that we may arrive in glory where He is.

May we look away unto Jesus today with undivided attention so that we may be freshly infused with Him and run the Christian race with endurance!

Genuine Faith is Christ Infused into us to Believe in us and For us, thus making us a Believing Being

I am crucified with Christ; and [it is] no longer I [who] live, but [it is] Christ [who] lives in me; and the [life] which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the [faith] of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Gal. 2:20

What is faith? What is the act of believing, and how can we just believe? Some unbelievers or so-called “atheists” say that Christians “throw their mind in the wastebin” when they believe into Jesus, for it seems illogical to believe in such a One.

Faith is not a supernatural ability or a special characteristic that only some “special” people have; faith is Christ infused into us to believe for us in a very subjective way.

When we hear the gospel, when we are under the hearing of faith, Christ transfuses Himself into us, and He is working Himself into us until He becomes the believing element in our being.

The result is that it’s not us who believe or who generate faith; it is Christ infused into us who believes in us and for us, and He makes us a believing being (Acts 6:5; 11:22-24).

Apparently, it is us who believe, for we have faith, but actually, it is His believing, for He is infused into us to believe for us and in us.

And the word pleased all the multitude; and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit...Acts 6:5 And the account concerning them was heard in the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to pass through as far as Antioch, who, when he arrived and saw the grace of God, rejoiced and encouraged them all to remain with the Lord with purpose of heart; for he was a good man and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a considerable number was added to the Lord. Acts 11:22-24All genuine Christians are believing beings; they not only believe but are believing beings.

In Acts 6:5 we are told that Stephen was a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit.

When we look away unto Jesus and are infused with Him, we become men full of faith and full of the Holy Spirit.

There’s an inward filling with Christ, and this causes us to believe; this is genuine faith.

There are many people throughout history who believed into the Lord even when the circumstances and things around them seemed to contradict their faith.

If you read Acts 27, for instance, you will see the story of Paul, who was a prisoner, having a very unfortunate voyage on the ship toward Rome.

As they were travelling on the sea, there was a big storm that lasted for a long time, so much so that the people were frightened and started throwing everything from the boat overboard.

But one day, Paul went to the centurion and told him that the Lord told him something bad will happen to the ship, but the Lord has given him all those who are on the ship, and none will lose their life.

So he encouraged them to take food and eat, for they did not eat for many days, and to cheer up.

Though everything around them was very gloomy and they seemed to be doomed, here was Paul who had faith in God and spoke the word of God to the others.

Eventually, all the ones on the ship arrived safely on an island and stayed there for a while.

There is also the example of George Muller who was once travelling by ship to speak in Quebec, but the ship seemed to be stuck in a thick fog. The fog was so intense that the ship could not move.

So George Muller went to the captain and told him that he has to be in Quebec by Saturday afternoon, to which the captain replied that it is impossible.

George Muller then said, If your ship cannot take me, God will find some other way, for I have never missed an engagement in fifty-seven years. Let’s go and pray.

Mr Muller was not on how dense the fog was but on the living God who controls every circumstance of his life.

So he knelt and prayed in a simple way, and when the captain wanted to pray, George Muller told him not to pray, for he didn’t have the faith to pray, and Mr Muller believed that God has answered the prayer already. Wow!

Surely enough, the fog was gone and he arrived at his destination on time.

This doesn’t mean that George Muller was a giant of faith; it just means that he was looking away unto Jesus and not at the environment.

The things around us may be terrible, and our situation may not seem to improve; we need to look away unto Jesus and simply allow Him to infuse Himself into us to become our believing ability.

When we look unto Jesus, He transfuses us with Himself as the believing element and He becomes our faith… Faith, the substantiating ability, is like a sixth sense. We acquired this substantiating sense through the preaching of the gospel. Proper gospel preaching is not merely a matter of teaching; it must also be a matter of transfusion… Before I can preach the gospel to [sinners], I must first receive something of and from the Lord. Then, as I am preaching, what I have received of the Lord will enter, like electricity, into those who are listening… Although they may shake their heads, not consenting to my preaching, deep within they believe what I am saying… Because some element has been transfused into their being, they are able to believe in the Lord. Life-study of Hebrews, p. 554, by Witness LeeEven in speaking for the Lord and ministering the word to others, we are not the source, and it’s not us who should speak; rather, we need to contact the Lord and be charged with Him so that we may radiate Him to others.

We need to be charged with the divine element, and then we will radiate that divine element into others.

If we feel that we don’t have faith, we should simply look away unto Jesus, the source of faith; when we fix our gaze on Him, He will radiate Himself into us and will charge us with Himself.

Spontaneously, we shall have faith, for faith is simply Christ Himself believing in us and for us in a very subjective way.

He originates this faith in us, and He will finish, complete, and perfect it in us.

He is continually and constantly infusing Himself into us by means of the law of life; the more we allow the law of life to work in our being, the more we are able to believe.

And this kind of faith, this believing ability, is not something that we do deliberately after we go through a certain routine or some practice.

Rather, we have been allotted the holy and precious faith (2 Pet. 1:1), and day by day this faith increases in us as we remain under the divine transfusion.

As we read the word of God and open to the Lord, praying to allow Him to infuse Himself into us, a spontaneous and unconscious infusion of the divine element takes place in our being.

As a result of this infusion and transfusion, something rises up in us in a spontaneous way to become our believing ability, and we simply believe. This is genuine faith.

Lord Jesus, we come to You in Your word with an open heart to receive not only revelation but even more, to be infused with the divine element. Infuse us with Yourself much more abundantly today. We fully open our being to be infused and transfused with Christ and be filled with faith. Amen, Lord, we love to spend time with You to behold You so that we may be charged with the divine element and radiate the divine element to others! Keep us beholding and reflecting You day by day until we are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord Spirit! We open to the inner operation of the law of life and say Amen to Your word.

Faith is a Substantiating Ability Enabling us to See, Hear, Touch, Taste, and Smell the Lord and the Divine Things

Now faith is the substantiation of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Heb. 11:1 Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who have been allotted faith equally precious as ours in the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ. 2 Pet. 1:1According to Heb. 11:1, faith is a substantiating ability which allows us to substantiate the Lord and the divine things, and all the things we hope for as revealed in the Word of God.

Faith is a sixth sense by which we substantiate the things unseen or hoped for.

By faith, we give substance to the Lord and the divine things, and all the things unseen and hoped for in the divine realm are made real to us by faith.

To substantiate something is to have the ability to realize a substance.

For example, humanly speaking we have five senses that allow us to substantiate the things of the outside world and make them real to us.

By means of our eyes with the sense of seeing we see what is around us. By means of our ears with their sense of hearing, we can hear what is happening around us.

By means of our touch, we can feel how things are, the heat and the cold, and the texture of things. By means of our mouth with its sense of taste, we can substantiate the taste of things.

By means of our nose with its sense of smell, we can substantiate the smell of things around us.

The objective items around us become subjective to us by means of our five physical senses.

As the eye is to seeing, the ear to hearing, and the nose to smelling, so faith, our spirit of faith, is the organ whereby we substantiate everything in the unseen spiritual world into us (2 Cor. 4:13).

Just as we smell things with our nose, see things with our eyes, taste things with our mouth, and hear things with our ears, so we can substantiate things in the spiritual realm with our spirit of faith.

The Lord infused Himself into us to become our believing ability in our spirit; the divine Spirit came into our spirit, and now our mingled spirit is a spirit of faith.

Even more, faith is a substantiating ability enabling us to see, hear, touch, taste, and smell the Lord with all the divine things. Wow!

Faith operates in the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit, and in this realm, faith enables us to see the Lord, hear Him, touch Him, taste Him, and even smell Him! Wow! We can exercise our spirit of faith to see the Lord (Eph. 1:18; Matt. 5:8; Job 42:5), hear Him (Gal. 3:2; Rev. 2:7), touch Him (Matt. 9:21; 14:36; John 4:24), taste Him (Psa. 34:8; 1 Pet. 2:2-3), and smell Him, being permeated with Him to such an extent that we become “a fragrance of Christ” (2 Cor. 2:15). Wow!

In the divine and mystical realm of the consummated Spirit, we can exercise our spirit of faith with the spiritual senses of seeing the Lord (Eph. 1:18; Matt. 5:8; Job 42:5), hearing Him (Gal. 3:2; Rev. 2:7a), touching Him (Matt. 9:21; 14:36; John 4:24), tasting Him (Psa. 34:8; 1 Pet. 2:2-3), and smelling Him, being permeated with Him to such an extent that we become “a fragrance of Christ” (2 Cor. 2:15), with our Christian walk in love being a sweet-smelling savor to God (Eph. 5:2); furthermore, as His loving seekers, we eventually become mature in life to the extent that we have a spiritual intuition and olfactory sense of high and sharp discernment in order to discern the things that are of God and are not of God (S.S. 7:4b; Phil. 1:9). 2022 spring ITERO, outline 4When we exercise our spirit of faith to contact the Lord and read His word, we can see the Lord in faith and by faith, and those who are pure in heart see God.

When we exercise our spirit of faith, we can hear the Lord’s voice, and we can hear what the Spirit is speaking to the churches.

We can touch the Lord, worship Him, contact Him, and touch what He is to us by means of our spirit of faith. When we come to the Lord in His word with the exercise of our spirit, we can taste Him, and we realize that He is so good!

As we exercise our spirit of faith, we smell Him, we are filled with His fragrance, and we become a fragrance of Christ to others so that our Christian walk in love is a sweet-smelling savour to God (Eph. 5:2).

Furthermore, as His loving seekers, we eventually become mature in life to the extent that we have a spiritual intuition and olfactory sense of high and sharp discernment in order to discern the things that are of God and are not of God (S.S. 7:4b; Phil. 1:9).

We have a discernment, a “nose” to discern the things of God and those not of God, and we sense things in our spirit.

Through the exercise of our spirit of faith, we have a certain inner intuition, a direct knowledge of God, to discern the things of God. Hallelujah!

Thank You, dear Lord Jesus, for infusing us with Yourself to become our believing ability, the very faith by which we believe into God! Hallelujah, we now have a sense, a substantiating ability, by which we can substantiate God and the divine things. We exercise our spirit of faith to see the Lord, touch Him in spirit, taste and see that He is good, and be filled with the fragrance of Christ! Amen, Lord, grow in us and bring us on to maturity so that we may have spiritual intuition and a sharp discernment to discern the things that are of God and are not of God! Keep us in our spirit today. We want to live and walk by the mingled spirit, exercising our spirit in all things to know God, touch God, taste God, smell God, be filled with God, see God, and express God!

It is the Faith of the Son of God which has been tranfused into us which becomes our believing Faith to believe into God.

Faith has not originated with us it is of God Hence we can exercise our spirit of Faith with the spiritual senses of seeing the Lord, hearing Him, touching Him, tasting, feeling and smelling Him.

O Lord we ask you to increase our Faith through your infusing into us the element of Faith. That we may walk in a way that is well pleasing to You. Amen

When we look away to Jesus, allow the law of the Spirit of life to operate in us as we come to Him and His word, we experience a transfusion in which He adds His divine element into our being and He becomes our believing ability.

In this way we have faith and it is by this faith (the faith of the Son of God) we live and can preach the gospel.

Amen brother.

Genuine faith is Christ Himself, and proper ministry is a matter of being infused with the Triune God.

This is why we need to look away from everything and look only to Jesus. It’s He who believes within us, and only He can complete the race of faith in us.

Hallelujah for the law of life, which works Christ’s believing element into us.

We need to remember always that genuine faith is the result of a divine transfusion.

The more we exercise our spirit and allow Jesus to occupy our mind, emotion & will, the more He can believe in us and for us

amen Brother enjoyed that we need to look away at the author and perfector of our faith, he is the originator of our faith, he is the one being transfused into our being that causes to believe we need to learn to come to him, and to turn from all other things to him so that he can transfuse himself as our faith to believe and for him to perfect our faith,

Lord may we learn to look away from everything else unto you

Yes, Jesus, The Word of God, as a life giving Spirit is mingled with our spirit so that He can live in us.

This is the main key point that He is all in all in our whole life.

This means, He is our faith, our life, our way to run the race firmly, our grace, our house, our food, ……… all inclusive Lord!

…the Mueller’s set off for the United States in August 1877 aboard the Sardian…Off Newfoundland the weather turned cold and the ship’s progress was seriously retarded by fog. George Mueller appeared on the bridge. “Captain, I have come to tell you I must be in Quebec by Saturday afternoon.” “It is impossible,” said the captain. “Very well, ” said Mueller, “if your ship cannot take me, God will find some other way–I have never broken an engagement for 52 years. Let us go down into the chart-room and pray.” The Captain wondered which lunatic asylum Mueller had come from. “Mr. Mueller,” he said, “do you know how dense this fog is?” “No, my eye is not on the density of the fog, but on the living God, who controls every circumstance of my life.” Mueller then knelt down and prayed simply. When he had finished the captain was about to pray, but Mueller put his hand on his shoulder, and told him not to. “First, you do not believe He will’ and second, I believe He has, and there is no need whatever for you to pray about it.” The captain looked at Mueller in amazement. “Captain,” he continued, I have known my Lord for 52 years, and there has never been a single day that I have failed to get an audience with the King. Get up, captain, and open the door, and you will find the fog is gone.” The captain walked across to the door and opened it. The fog had lifted. It was the captain himself, who later told the story of this incident, and who was subsequently described by a well known evangelist as “one of the most devoted men I ever knew.”
