As the mystery of God, Christ is the embodiment of the fullness of the Godhead, for all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Him bodily, and we are made full in Him; may our hearts be comforted and cared for so that we may see, know, enjoy, and experience Christ as the mystery of God today.
Amen, Lord, comfort our hearts. Enlighten the eyes of our heart for us to see You! May we see Christ as the mystery of God! May we see that Christ is the embodiment of the fullness of the Godhead! Amen!
We believers in Christ are those who have seen something of Christ, and we were touched by what we see of Him; we were so touched and impressed that we opened to Him and we believed into Him.
Actually, even our faith is not of us, for Christ infused something of Himself into us to become the believing ability in us.
We believe into the Lord Jesus not because we’re better or more special than others; it is because of His mercy, for He infused Himself into us to be our faith.
Now that we are believers in Christ, we continue to come to the Lord to see Him and enjoy Him. He is not only our Lord and Saviour but even more, He is the all-inclusive Christ.
The all-inclusive, extensive Christ is the mystery of God. When we see Him, we see God. When we know Him, we know what God is.
When we read the Gospels and exercise our spirit to call on the name of the Lord, we are not only impressed with the Lord’s human living and with His speaking but even more, we are infused with Him. His life, His living, His speaking, and His work are all very mysterious, for here was a man who didn’t express Himself or speak His own words but fully expressed God.
God was expressed and manifested through Him. One time Philip asked the Lord, Show us the Father; the Lord’s answer was, When you see Me, you see the Father. Wow.
God was embodied in Christ. God was expressed through Christ. God was manifested through Christ.
When others saw Christ, they saw God as love, light, holiness, and righteousness being lived out and expressed. Even more, in this One all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.
The words He spoke were like no other; He spoke the mysteries of the kingdom of God, and the highest wisdom was uttered by Him.
Just read the Gospel of John and the Gospel of Matthew and you will see that no other man has spoken such things; the highest standard of ethics, morality, and spirituality was in His speaking. What a wonderful Christ we have!
Having our Hearts Comforted unto all the Riches of the Full Assurance of Understanding, unto the Full Knowledge of the Mystery of God, Christ

Colossians 2:2 does not only speak of the mystery of God, which is Christ; this verse tells us that our hearts need to be comforted, being knit together in love and unto all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, unto the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ.
We need to pay attention to this entire verse by exercising our spirit to pray it before the Lord, internalising it through much prayerful consideration so that our entire being is prepared and proper to see the mystery of God, Christ.
The way Paul composed this verse was to lead us to having the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ, but on the way to have such a full knowledge, our heart needs to be comforted, and we need to be knit together in love and unto all the riches of the full assurance of understanding.
Lord Jesus, make this our experience! Lord, unveil us to see what this means in our experience!
All the riches of the full assurance of understanding are in apposition with the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ; they are the same thing.
Having all the riches of the full assurance of understanding is related to our seeing the mystery of God, Christ.
To know this mystery, we need to be comforted in our hearts. For us to see Christ as the mystery of God, our heart is involved; our entire inner being has to be engaged.
Our whole inner being with all its inward parts, must function properly for us to see the mystery of God.
If our heart is not comforted, we will think that the mystery of God, Christ, is too high, too objective, and quite unattainable.
Our heart needs to be comforted; first, our mind needs to be sober, and then, our emotion needs to be regulated, and finally, our will needs to be subdued.
If we want to see the mystery of God, we need a sober mind, an unoccupied mind, a mind that is not cluttered with many things.
The saints in Colossae had a mind that was cluttered with many things, from the culture to the Gnosticism that invaded the church. So many things can clutter our minds.
Today’s world, today’s religion, and today’s culture and philosophy clutter our mind, and we are defrauded of our prize, for we do not see Christ. Oh Lord!
The things that occupy our mind cause us to be carried away as spoil from Christ as our good land, because our mind is so full of other things.
Consider your experience: can you spend ten minutes with the Lord in a calm way, without being drawn to think of other things?
How much we need the Lord’s grace to be emptied and unloaded so that we may be open and focused on the Lord.
Whenever we turn our heart to the Lord, the veil is taken away, and we see the Lord face to face (2 Cor. 3:16-18).
So many things seek to clutter us and veil us. We don’t want our thoughts to be corrupted from the simplicity and purity toward Christ (2 Cor. 11:2-3).
Sometimes we need to spend thirty minutes with the Lord so that we may have only ten minutes of high-quality time with Him.
And when we come to the Lord in His word, may we come to only touch the Lord, not just to obtain some nourishment or encouragement from Him.
May we come to the Lord in an open way, not being loaded or veiled, so that we may see Him and enjoy Him.
Our heart needs to be comforted. Our heart needs to be adjusted. Our emotions need to be regulated. Our will needs to be subdued.
Our entire inner being needs to be engaged in a proper way so that we may see Christ as the mystery of God.
When we see Christ, we have the riches of the full assurance of understanding.
We all have faith, but do we have full assurance? We all have faith, but do we have the certainty? If we have the full assurance, we are not shaken easily.
When turmoils come, we are not drawn away from the Lord and the church life, for we have the full assurance of faith.
Then, when our hearts are comforted, when we’re knit together in love, and when we have the full assurance of understanding, we can see the mystery of God, Christ, having the full knowledge of this mystery.
May we open to the Lord again and again as we come to His word, learning to declutter our being before Him and simply be available to Him so that He may speak to us, infuse us with what He is, and unveil us to see Christ as the mystery of God.
Lord Jesus, comfort our hearts. May our heart may be comforted today. We open to You. Lord, come into our mind. Unveil us to see You. We turn our heart to You. May our mind be unloaded and unveiled so that we may see You face to face. Oh Lord Jesus, grant us to have a sober mind, a regulated emotion, and a subdued will so that we may see the mystery of God, Christ. Grant us the grace to be open to You and focused on You. Oh Lord, our mind! Lord Jesus, our emotions! Oh Lord, our will! Here we are, Lord. We don’t want our thoughts to be corrupted from the simplicity and the purity toward Christ! Keep us open to You in our time with You so that we may see Christ as the mystery of God! Amen, Lord, grant us to have the riches of the full assurance of understanding. May we clearly understand Your word and be infused with the truth. May we arrive to the full knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ! Hallelujah for Christ as the mystery of God!
All the Fullness of the Godhead Dwells in Christ Bodily, and we’re Made Full in Him

Colossians 2:9 tells us that, as the mystery of God, Christ is the embodiment of the fullness of the Godhead. All the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Christ bodily, and we are made full in Him (v. 10). Hallelujah!
What does it mean for all the fullness of the Godhead to dwell in Christ bodily?
Before He was incarnated, the fullness of the Godhead dwelt in Christ as the eternal Word, but not in a bodily form. But from the time that Christ became incarnate, the fullness of the Godhead began to dwell in Him in a bodily way! Wow!
And now and forever, in His glorified body (Phil. 3:21), this fullness dwells! Praise the Lord!
This means that the fullness of the Godhead is made real and practical to man, for it dwells in Christ in a bodily way.
The word Godhead refers to deity and strongly indicates the deity of Christ.
Since the Godhead comprises the Father, the Son, and the Spirit, the fullness of the Godhead must be the fullness of the Father, the Son, and the Spirit (Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14).
Wow, all that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit are and have and have done dwells in Christ bodily! Amen!
For Christ to be the embodiment of the fullness of the Godhead means that the fullness of the Triune God – the Father, the Son, and the Spirit – dwells in Christ in a bodily form.
Paul wrote concerning such a Christ to the saints in Colossae who were under the influence of both culture and Gnosticism; Gnosticism in particular regarded man’s physical body and the entire material world as being evil.
The Gnostics considered themselves to have the highest wisdom and knowledge and they despised the material things and the flesh; however, Paul tells the saints that in Christ the fullness of the Godhead dwelt bodily.
Not just the riches of God, not just the riches of the Father, but the fullness of the Godhead dwelt in Christ bodily, in His flesh. Wow!
God’s fullness is the overflow of His riches, and this overflow is God’s expression. God overflowed through Him; of His fullness we all have received, and grace upon grace (John 1:14-16).
When others touched Him, there was an overflow of God’s fullness through Him; they were healed, faith was infused into them, and they had a real touch with God.
The fullness of the Godhead is the expression of the Godhead, the expression of all that God is.
The Godhead is expressed in both the old creation (the universe) and in the new creation (the church – Col. 1:15, 18).
What dwells in Christ is not just the riches of the Godhead but the expression of these riches, the bountiful expression and manifestation of all that the Triune God is and has.
All that the Triune God is, all He has, does, knows, can do, has done, has obtained, has accomplished, and has attained – all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Christ bodily.
If we consider this, our mind is blown away! We human beings are limited, and our body is very limited; yet in the body of the Lord Jesus, the fullness of the Godhead dwelt.
God the Father is so rich, God the Son is so unlimited, and God the Spirit is without measure; the fullness of the Godhead dwelt in Christ bodily.
This implies the physical body that Christ put on in His humanity; it also indicates that all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Christ as the One who has a human body (John 1:14; Rom. 8:3; Heb. 2:14).
He didn’t come as an appearance, a ghost, or something that looks like a man; He was incarnated to be a man, and He was clothed with a human body.
In this human body, the fullness of the Godhead dwelt in Him in a bodily way.
Christ was incarnated to be a man; He lived as a man, He died as a man, He resurrected as a man, He ascended as a man, and He was enthroned as a man.
Stephen saw Him at the right hand of God as he was being stoned, and there He was, Jesus Christ the Son of Man enthroned in glory (Acts 7:44).
When He returns and He will judge all men, Christ will come as a Man; this man embodies the fullness of the Godhead.
When the Lord Jesus appeared to His disciples after His resurrection, He not only asked them to touch His hands and see His feet but even more, asked them to give Him something to eat, for He had a human body which was now glorified. Hallelujah!
In this One we are made full. We have been made full in Christ, the One in whom the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily (Col. 2:9-10).
Of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace; the fullness of grace has been dispensed into us to make us full in Him (John 1:14, 16).
Rolling waves of grace come upon us wave upon wave, without ceasing. In this One we are made full.
He’s the Head of all rule and authority; He not only possesses all the fullness of the Godhead but even more, He’s the Head of all rule and authority.
He is above all rule and authority, that is, above the fallen angels occupying positions of power in the air in subordination to Satan.
What a Christ we have! He has both the fullness of the Godhead and is above all rule, authority, and power of Satan. We have been put into Christ, we are rooted in Him, and we are made full in Him!
Lord Jesus, cause us to see that Christ as the mystery of God is the One in whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily! Amen, Lord, may we realise that all the riches of God are expressed and manifested in full in Christ, who is the mystery of God! Praise the Lord, all that the Triune God is and has, does and knows, does and has done, has obtained and attained, everything is in Christ, dwelling in Him in a bodily form! Hallelujah, the rich Father, the unlimited Son, and the immeasurable Spirit dwell in Christ bodily! Amen, Lord, we praise You for coming into us as the One in whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily. We open to receive You and enjoy You, even to receive of Your fullness, grace upon grace! Thank You for putting us in You and for coming into us! Hallelujah, we have been put into Christ in whom all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily, and we are made full in Him! Praise the Lord!

Dear brother, wow, in Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
Not just the riches of God but the expression of these riches, even all the accomplishments and attainments of God.
When we see Him and enjoy Him as such a One, we are made full in Him. Hallelujah, we have been put into Christ and we have been made full in Him!
Hallelujah!!!! Thank You, dear Lord Jesus!
Amen, hallelujah, that we have been put into Christ and made full in Him.
Outside of Christ there is no God, or no way to find and contact God.
Christ is the embodied Triune God which is the fullness of the Godhead; visible, touchable and receivable.
Amen, now all the fullness is visible, touchable and receivable in His Body, in us the church..
Hallelujah, brother, Christ gave up His heavenly glory and status so that the fullness of the Godhead could dwell in Him who has a human body. The fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus now & forever!
The Triune God is now visible, touchable & receivable. How marvellous!
All the human philosophers fall to realise that the fullness of the Godhead now dwells in the humble carpenter from the despised city of Nazareth.
“Fullness” = the expression of the riches of God, His attributes & virtues. Worldly traditions & elements simply cannot compare with the fullness of the Godhead.
When we receive, experience & enjoy Christ, we receive a Father who is rich, a Son who is unlimited and a Spirit who is without measure.
This full Christ is far above the rule of Satan and his subordinates. We have been put into such a Christ and have been made full in Him. How awesome & wonderful!
Amen. We are being made full in the expression of the riches of the Triune God in Christ.
Ameeen!!!
In Christ as there’s mystery of God not only that we have the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, in Him all the fullness that the entire Triune God is, has, does, knows, can do, has done, has obtained, has accomplished, and has attained dwells in Him.
That in Him we have been made full. Also as the mystery of God, Christ is the Head of all rule and authority.
On the one hand, Christ possesses all the fullness of the Godhead, for it dwells in Him bodily; on the other hand, this Christ, who is the Head of all rule and authority.
