God’s Wisdom in a Mystery is our Destiny for our Glory: we Praise our only Wise God!

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and untraceable His ways! Rom. 11:33

We need to see the difference between wisdom and knowledge and realize the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God, for God’s wisdom is in a mystery, and we as the church give glory to the wise God! Amen! Hallelujah for our wise God, the God who is wisdom to us in Christ!

A way to define wisdom is that wisdom is the way of doing things; we may say that the decision we make is right, the matter we are doing is right, but the way we do that right thing may be altogether lacking in wisdom.

For us men, the way of doing things is usually the self; our self is the way we do things, for we do things according to what we are in ourselves.

But if we have wisdom – even humanly speaking, if we have human wisdom – we will do things in a proper way, in a beneficial way; if we lack wisdom, we will do things in a foolish way, and we will even do foolish things.

God has His wisdom; He has the deepest understanding, and He is always righteous and fair and exact in His judgment. God has absolute insight and discernment, for He is wisdom itself.

The wisdom of God is embodied in Christ the Son; Christ Himself is the wisdom of God, as per 1 Cor. 1 – the crucified Christ is the wisdom of God.

Wisdom is the way we do things; Christ – who is the wisdom of God – said of Himself, I am the way. God’s wisdom is Christ Himself, who is the way.

Whenever we initiate anything, especially when we do anything with Christ as our life and person, He will be our wisdom as the way, and we will be able to face Him as we contact Him after a situation and sense His joy.

We did not just do what was necessary and right, but we denied ourselves and our way, and we did everything in and by Christ.

When we speak of the multifarious wisdom of God, we do not need to have a dictionary definition of wisdom, but we need to have an understanding of what it means.

It is God who initiates, God in Christ is the way, and Christ is the wisdom of God.

There is a desperate need all over the earth in the local churches in the Lord’s recovery for more and more divine wisdom to be lived ou in every aspect of the church life.

In His wisdom, God has His administration, and He has ordained elders in the churches; also, He has those who represent Him apostolically in the work and the ministry.

These ones have a lot of responsibility.

But it is a huge mistake for them to carry out their responsibility without divine wisdom, for they will give an account to the Son of Man, who is wisdom.

On a personal level, Christ is wisdom to us from God through a continual transmission.

He wants to be wisdom to us from God right here and right now in the particular situation we are in; we admit we don’t understand this situation, we don’t know how to address it, and we don’t know how to live through it.

This opens us to the transmission personally in every aspect of our life, and God in Christ is wisdom to us to be expressed through us; all the glory goes to the wise God in the church!

God’s Wisdom is Seen in His Initiating things, and God’s Wisdom in a Mystery is our Destiny!

Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel, that is, the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which has been kept in silence in the times of the ages. Rom. 16:25In the first part of Rom. 11:33, Paul exclaims, Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! God’s wisdom is so deep that it is unfathomable.

It is important to see the difference between wisdom and knowledge; in Col. 2:3 these are mentioned together, but they are different matters.

Wisdom is higher and deeper than knowledge, or wisdom can be seen in the initiation of something, while knowledge is seen in the practical application of that thing.

When one invents something or initiates a certain process or action, wisdom can be seen in the initiation, but then the knowledge is displayed in the way he carries it out.

In Eph. 1:19-20, we see the power of God, in 2:5-8 we see the grace of God, and in ch. 3 we see the wisdom of God; our God is very wise, and the universe reveals His wisdom.

Wisdom is for planning and purposing (Eph. 1:9; 3:11); in particular, wisdom is seen in the initiation of something, as indicated by Rom. 11:36, Out from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.

God is the unique Initiator; He has initiated many things not by His knowledge but by His wisdom; when He comes in to apply what He has initiated, He displays His knowledge.

Knowledge is in our mind, but wisdom is in our spirit; for us to get wisdom and be wise, we need to be in our spirit.

If we are a person in the spirit, we will be wise; furthermore, when the spirit renews our mind, our mind will have the knowledge, prudence.

Some may say that wisdom is being clever; however, wisdom is different from cleverness, for wisdom is deeper.

For instance, a criminal may be clever, even very clever, but he is lacking in wisdom.

God is the One who initiates everything; the church is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ – He is the unique source, the unique initiator, and everything that takes place in the church should have its source in God as the Initiator.

When God initiates something, He does it by His wisdom (Prov. 3:19; 8:12, 22-31).

If we were to look back at our personal history, we will see God’s wisdom at work when He intervened in this situation, when He turned us from that particular thing to this, when He brought us here, and when He arranged our marital relationship.

We need to see God’s wisdom and worship Him, for our whole life is a testimony of His wisdom.

Our God is really highly intelligent, and He knows all things; but even to Him, wisdom is more precious than what He knows.

And when the New Testament speaks of God’s wisdom, it says that “God’s wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom which has been hidden, which God predestined before the ages for our glory” (1 Cor. 2:7). Wow!

God’s wisdom is in a mystery, a mystery which has been hidden; the wisdom of God is Christ (1 Cor. 1:24), who is the hidden mystery predestined, pre-designated, and foreordained before the ages for our glory.

But we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the [wisdom] which has been hidden, which God predestined before the ages for our glory. 1 Cor. 2:7The wisdom of God is mysterious, for it has been hidden, and God has predestined this wisdom before the ages for our glory.

God’s wisdom is our destiny, and this destiny was determined by God – it was decided by Him beforehand!

In eternity, God decided that His wisdom would be our destiny and glory. Wow!

As the centre of God and as our portion for our enjoyment, Christ is God’s wisdom in a mystery that is deep and profound (Rom. 11:33).

We believers in Christ have a destiny, and this destiny is the ultimate and consummate portion of our enjoyment; this destiny is God’s wisdom, which is for our glory.

If we look at our situation and our history with the Lord, we will realize that often the way the Lord cares for us, leads us, shepherds us, trains us, and deals with us is mysterious.

As Prov. 20:24 says, A man’s steps are ordained by Jehovah: how then can a man understand his own life?

To tell the truth, we do not understand our own life, but we know that the wisdom of God is manifested and expressed, and even though God hides Himself, we cannot but worship Him for His wisdom, which is also our destiny!

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unfathomable the wisdom of God is! We praise You, God, for Your wisdom, for all things are out of You and through You and to You! Praise the Lord, there is one God, the Father, out from Him are all things! Thank You for revealing to us Your intention, Your heart’s desire, so that we may know the wisdom of God in a mystery. Oh, may we be unveiled to see Christ as the wisdom of God in a mystery, so deep and profound! Though we may not understand our own life, we believe into You and we worship You for Your wisdom, for God’s wisdom is in a mystery, and this wisdom is our destiny! Praise You Lord for Your wisdom, so deep and profound!

The Wise God gave Christ to us According to the Revelation of the Mystery, and in the Church, we give the Glory to the Only Wise God!

To the only wise God through Jesus Christ, to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Rom. 16:27The book of Romans ends with an exclamation, To the only wise God through Jesus Christ, to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen! (Rom. 16:27)

This is how Paul ended this book.

We may not use this expression, wise God, too much; but the more we prayerfully consider the wisdom of God and our history under the Lord’s light in His word, the more we can declare, God, You are wise – I praise and worship You as the only wise God!

We may look at the outward situation and the whole world situation, especially as we are in this COVID19 pandemic with varying degrees of lockdown all around the world, and we may wonder why is this pandemic going on now, more than a year after it started.

Even though we do not understand why is this pandemic going on and what is really going on, we can worship our wise God, for He will gain us more through all these things, and He will put the enemy to shame through the church, thus manifesting His wisdom.

When we live in the oneness of the Body of Christ and express the Body of Christ in the many local churches where we live, the result will be threefold.

First, God will crush Satan under our feet shortly (Rom. 16:20); second, we will enjoy the grace of Christ and the peace of Christ (v. 20), and third, we will give glory to the only wise God (vv. 25-27).

When we live in the oneness of the Body of Christ and express this Body in the various local churches, the result will be: (1) God's crushing of Satan under our feet (Rom. 16:20a), (2) our enjoying the grace of Christ and the peace of God (v. 20b), and (3) the giving of glory to the only wise God (vv. 25-27). This is the peak of our church life. No matter how many saints or local churches there are on earth, in the various places we all give glory to the only wise God. A Deeper Study of the Divine Dispensing, Chapter 7, Section 4, by Witness LeeWe can say that this is the peak of our church life, for no matter how many saints or local churches there are on earth, in the various places we all give glory to the only wise God! Hallelujah!

The wise God has given Jesus Christ to us according to the revelation of the mystery; this mystery has been kept in silence in the times of the ages but it has been revealed to us in the last days in spirit.

This Christ that the wise God has given to us is the wisdom of God to us; He has saved us, regenerated us, and through His divine dispensing He is continually renewing and transforming us.

Praise the Lord, our wise God through Jesus Christ will eventually glorify us and conform us to the image of Christ, the firstborn Son of God, bringing us into glory (Rom. 3:24-25; 5:10; 8:16, 23, 29; 12:1-2)!

Our wise God will bring us all the way to glorification through every step; we not only hope but also believe that He takes us through every step during our lifetime so that we can be raptured as His overcomers!

Amen, our wise God has a way to lead us all the way to being glorified and built up together to be part of God’s corporate expression in glory. We can only give Him praise and thanks, for He is our only wise God!

Hallelujah, to the only wise God through Jesus Christ, to Him be the glory forever and ever, amen! We praise You, God and Father, for Your unfathomable and mysterious wisdom! We admit that we do not understand many of the things that are happening to us and we may not even like them or agree with them, but we worship You for Your wisdom! We believe that You are taking us step by step all the way through the process of organic salvation until we are glorified! Thank You, God, for giving us Christ according to the revelation of the mystery. Thank You for saving us and regenerating us, and thank You for continually renewing and transforming us! We praise You, God, for You will eventually glorify us and conform us to the image of God’s firstborn Son, thus bringing us into glory! Amen, to the only wise God through Jesus Christ, to Him be the glory forever and ever, Amen!
