God’s Complete Salvation is His Judicial Redemption plus His Organic Salvation

...much more we will be saved in His life, having been reconciled. Rom. 5:10

God’s complete salvation is of two aspects – the judicial aspect and the organic aspect; there is the judicial redemption and the organic salvation, and we as believers in Christ partake of such a wonderful, all-inclusive, complete salvation. Hallelujah!

This week in our morning revival we come to a new topic, The Two Aspects of God’s Complete Salvation – Judicial Redemption Plus Organic Salvation.

The Bible is very clear and precise concerning what is God’s complete salvation, and there are many precious points of truth related to the many items included in the salvation of God.

God’s economy is for Him to dispense Himself into His chosen people so that He may gain an increase and even a reproduction of Himself for His corporate expression.

However, the people that God chose became fallen, so God had to come in and do something to rescue this fallen man from his pitiful condition.

But this is not all; God did not stop at redeeming man but even more, He is saving man much more in the life of God.

God’s intention is not just to have a good man, a cleansed man, a man free from trouble, a man with no condemnation.

In His economy, God desires to have a corporate expression of Himself.

So He wants to deposit Himself, dispense Himself, into His chosen people so that He may gain His increase and reproduction.

In addition to saving man from his pitiful condition, God is saving man much more in the divine life so that man would become part of God’s corporate expression.

We may say that, on His hand, God has an economy to dispense Himself into His chosen people, and on our side, this economy of God is our salvation; salvation is God’s economy.

God’s economy to us is a great salvation.

This great salvation, this complete salvation, is something very wonderful, and it has two main aspects: the judicial aspect and the organic aspect.

Unfortunately, many Christians think of God’s salvation as being only being saved from sin and being justified to be reconciled to God.

We want to tell all Christians: there is much more salvation (Rom. 5:10).

Yes, God reconciled to us through the death of His Son, but now He is much more saving us in His life.

Are we saved? Yes, we believers in Christ are saved, but we are also being saved, for we’re in the process of being saved much more in the life of Christ.

With respect to God’s judicial redemption, we have been saved eternally, and we’re justified, reconciled to God, forgiven of our sins, and cleansed and washed of all our sins. Praise the Lord!

However, with respect to God’s organic salvation, we are being much more saved in His life, having been reconciled. Hallelujah!

Christ Accomplished God’s Judicial Redemption for us to Partake of Objectively

And that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. Luke 24:47 In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of offenses, according to the riches of His grace. Eph. 1:7 Who, being the effulgence of His glory and the impress of His substance and upholding and bearing all things by the word of His power, having made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Heb. 1:3The complete salvation of God has two aspects – the judicial aspect and the organic aspect.

When we speak of the judicial aspect, we realize it has something to do with the law, and when we say organic, it has something to do with life.

God’s complete salvation has both the judicial aspect and the organic aspect.

Christ came to accomplish God’s judicial redemption for us so that we may receive it and enjoy it.

The judicial redemption of God is the aspect of procedure, which is very important to God and to us.

God is righteous, and because of His righteousness, He cannot save us in His life to make us the same as He is because we do not match His righteousness.

So Christ came and fulfilled all the requirements of God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory, and He obtained and accomplished an all-inclusive judicial redemption.

In a sense, this has nothing to do with us, for we did not do anything to obtain it; it has been accomplished and obtained by Christ, and we enjoy it objectively.

There are some wonderful objective results of Christ’s judicial redemption that we can enjoy.

First, we enjoy forgiveness of sins (Luke 24:47; Eph. 1:7).

Praise the Lord, by believing into Christ, our sins have been forgiven.

Blessed are those whose sins and transgressions have been forgiven.

We have been forgiven of all our sins, for the blood of Christ was shed for us for our sins to be forgiven.

Not only that, but we were washed of our sins (Heb. 1:3). Through Christ’s redemption, our sins have been washed away.

Even the record of our sins has been removed.

God didn’t just forgive us of our sins; He cannot even remember them anymore, because of the blood of Jesus washed all our sins away. Praise the Lord.

Based on Christ’s judicial redemption, we are justified (Rom. 3:24-25).

Now we can stand before God on the position of righteousness.

We used to be unrighteous, fully in sin, but based on Christ’s redemption, we were justified by God and we are righteous in Christ.

Because Christ, the righteous One, has met all of God’s requirements, and He has become our righteousness, we are justified in Him. Praise the Lord!

Based on Christ’s redemption, we are reconciled to God (Rom. 5:10).

Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; Whom God set forth as a propitiation place through faith in His blood, for the demonstrating of His righteousness, in that in His forbearance God passed over the sins that had previously occurred. Rom. 3:24-25 To the church of God which is in Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, the called saints, with all those who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, [who is] theirs and ours. 1 Cor. 1:2We were not only fallen in sin but even more, we rebelled against God and were in enmity with God.

We were God’s enemies, and Christ died for us; there was enmity between us and God, but Christ died as a peace offering to appease all the enmity between God and us.

Now we can be restored back to God, reconciled back to God, and all the enmity is gone.

Finally, based on Christ’s judicial redemption, we are sanctified in our position unto God to be His holy people (1 Cor. 1:2; Heb. 13:12; 10:29).

He sanctified us unto Himself, for by faith in Christ’s redemption we are separated unto God and are brought back to God.

We are no longer part of the world; we now belong to God.

We are separated from the world and are no longer part of it; we belong to God and are sanctified unto Him to be His holy people.

Praise the Lord for the five wonderful objective results of God’s judicial redemption, beginning from being forgiven, washed, justified, reconciled, and sanctified positionally!

We can apply the judicial redemption of Christ to our Christian life and praise the Lord for all that He has accomplished for us.

Lord Jesus, praise You and thank You for the wonderful judicial redemption You have accomplished for us on the cross. We believe into You, Lord, and we enjoy the amazing objective results of the judicial work You did for us on the cross. Hallelujah, our sins are forgiven, for the blood of Christ was shed for all our sins. Thank You, Lord, for forgiving our sins and washing all our sins away. Thank You for justifying us to make us righteous before God. Wow, the righteous One died for the unrighteous and became their righteousness for them to be justified before God! Praise the Lord! Thank You Lord for reconciling us to God; we were Your enemies, at enmity with God, but we have been reconciled to God through the death of His Son. Thank You, Lord, we now have peace toward God. Thank You for sanctifying us by separating us unto Yourself to make us Your holy people. Praise the Lord for Christ’s judicial redemption!

Today we can Enjoy and Participate in God’s Organic Salvation as the Goal of His Judicial Redemption

For if we, being enemies, were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more we will be saved in His life, having been reconciled. Rom. 5:10

God’s judicial redemption is wonderful, but it is only the procedure of God’s complete salvation for the believers to participate in His organic salvation as the purpose of God’s complete salvation (Rom. 5:21).

God reconciled us to Himself through the death of His Son, but now much more He is saving us in His life, having been reconciled (Rom. 5:10).

The result is that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign in life through righteousness unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (v. 21).

Unfortunately, if you ask the Christians today, probably nine out of ten would say that they know God’s redemption and love it very much, but they don’t know that there’s a goal, which is God’s organic salvation.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to [His] purpose. Because those whom He foreknew, He also predestinated [to be] conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brothers; and those whom He predestinated, these He also called; and those whom He called, these He also justified; and those whom He justified, these He also glorified. Rom. 8:28-30They remain in the procedure of God’s salvation but do not attain to the goal of His salvation in life.

They are happy to be cleansed, forgiven, reconciled, and sanctified positionally unto God, and they are just waiting to be brought into heaven by Christ when He returns. Oh, Lord.

We need to be brought to the full knowledge of the truth so that we may see God’s salvation.

Yes, He accomplished a wonderful and amazing judicial redemption, but this was just the procedure for Him to obtain His goal, which is His organic salvation.

Today we can enjoy and participate in God’s organic salvation as the goal of His judicial redemption.

The organic salvation of God is the purpose of the judicial redemption of God.

There are many aspects of God’s organic salvation the New Testament speaks of.

First, we are regenerated by God with His life for us to become children of God, sons of God (John 1:12-13).

Whoever believes into the Lord and therefore receives Him is given the authority to become a child of God, born of God and having the eternal life of God.

This is the beginning of God’s organic salvation.

Then, we are being shepherded by God so that we may grow in the divine life and exist in life. God is arranging many things, persons, and situations around us to shepherd us for us to grow and exist in the divine life.

In God’s organic salvation, we are being sanctified in our disposition; our very disposition and nature are being changed by being infused with the holy nature and disposition of God.

Furthermore, we are renewed in our mind so that even our way of thinking is the same as God’s; our mind is renewed by our setting our mind on our spirit and on the word of God (Rom. 12:2).

This is a day-by-day process, not something once-for-all; daily we need to be in the word of God to enjoy Christ and partake of His riches in the word to be reconstituted with the thoughts of God and with His divine concepts.

In the aspect of purpose, that which God has carried out by His life organically is salvation, including (1) regeneration for us to receive the eternal life of God, (2) shepherding for us to grow and exist in the divine life, (3) sanctification in our disposition, (4) renewing in our mind, (5) transformation in our image, issuing in (6) God’s building, (7) conformation to the image of God’s firstborn Son, that is, maturity in the divine life, and (8) glorification, which is the consummation of God’s eternal economy (8:30)…That which is carried out organically is a further step as salvation, which is different from redemption [the initial step] and includes eight items. Redemption is accomplished judicially, whereas salvation is carried out organically. The eight items in the organic aspect issue in the church of God to constitute the Body of Christ, which will consummate the New Jerusalem, which is the ultimate goal of God’s eternal economy. CWWL, 1994-1997, vol. 3, “The Organic Aspect of God’s Salvation,” pp. 378-380In God’s organic salvation, we are transformed into the image of Christ by a metabolic process in which God is added to us and our old element is being discharged (2 Cor. 3:18).

This transformation issues in God’s building, the corporate expression of God in the church.

We are also being conformed to the image of Christ, God’s firstborn Son (Rom. 8:28-29) to be mature in the divine life and even look like Him.

Finally, we will be glorified (Rom. 8:30) so that even our mortal body would be like the body of His glory.

Based on the judicial redemption of Christ with its five wonderful objective results, God carries out His organic salvation with eight organic steps.

His redemption was accomplished by Christ judicially, and His organic salvation is carried out organically.

The result of our enjoying and participating in God’s organic salvation is the church as the Body of Christ consummating in the New Jerusalem, which is the ultimate goal of God’s eternal economy.

Rev. 21 unveils that the entire New Jerusalem as the wife of the Lamb (vv. 2, 9) becomes the enlargement and expression of Christ. Hallelujah!

The processed Triune God and His regenerated, sanctified, transformed, and glorified elect will be joined and mingled as one to constitute an organism as the enlargement and expression of God in eternity – the New Jerusalem! Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for accomplishing God’s judicial redemption as a procedure for God’s organic salvation. Hallelujah, in His organic salvation, God regenerated us with His divine life for us to be children of God, born of God! Praise the Lord, we are being shepherded for us to grow and exist in the divine life. Amen, Lord, thank You for sanctifying us in our disposition so that You may make us holy even as You are holy. We come to You in Your word to be renewed in our mind and be transformed in Your image for God’s building. Conform us more to the image of God’s firstborn Son so that we may reach maturity in the divine life. Glorify us to make us the same as Christ in every possible way. Amen, Lord, save us much more in Your life so that we may be part of Your corporate expression on the earth, the church as the Body of Christ consummating in the New Jerusalem.

In the complete salvation of God, what He does in the judicial aspect is the procedure, and what He does in the organic aspect is the purpose. In the aspect of procedure, that which God has fulfilled according to His judicial requirement is redemption, including forgiveness of sins, washing away of sins, justification, reconciliation to God, and positional sanctification. We were sinners under God’s condemnation and also enemies of God, but now we have been forgiven, washed from our sins, justified by God, reconciled to God, and sanctified unto God positionally. This is to be redeemed…The first aspect of God’s complete salvation is the judicial aspect, and what it accomplished is for us to be forgiven of our sins, washed from our sins, justified, reconciled to God, and sanctified positionally. These five items qualify and position us to enter into the grace of God. Romans 5:2 says, “We have obtained access… into this grace in which we stand.” How can a sinner obtain access into the grace of God? There must be the fulfillment of the judicial aspect so that the sinner may receive forgiveness of sins, washing away of sins, justification by God, reconciliation to God, and positional sanctification. All these items are a matter of procedure, qualification, and position. The judicial aspect qualifies and positions us sinners to enter into the grace of God to enjoy the salvation that God has accomplished for us according to His life organically in the aspect of purpose (v. 10). Here we see that God has accomplished a salvation with two aspects: the redeeming aspect and the saving aspect. Redemption is accomplished judicially, and saving is carried out organically.

Praise the Lord for God’s judicial redemption as the procedure for His organic salvation!

Based on His redemption, we are forgiven of our sins, washed from our sins, justified, reconciled to God, and sanctified positionally. This is so that we may be much more saved in His life! Amen!

We now are regenerated with God’s life, shepherded to grow in life, sanctified in our disposition, renewed in our mind, transformed for God’s building, conformed to the image of Christ, and glorified!

Wow, Lord, thank You for Your judicial redemption as the procedure for Your organic salvation. Save us much more in Your life today!

Hallelujah for the two aspects of our salvation.

Our God has never been content to just save us judicially & objectively.

We human beings are satisfied with such a salvation because it enables us to remain in the earthly realm where we’re comfortable.

However, we must live for God’s purpose & goal.

May we never be content to be saved objectively & outwardly.

Rom 5:10 For if we, being enemies, were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more we will be saved in His life, having been reconciled.

Rom. 5:21 In order that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen brother!

What a blessing to know we are judicially redeemed by believing in His precious blood to cleanse us of sins!

And now we are organically sanctified, transformed and conformed to his image daily by the Triune God making an abode with us!

We are conformed to his image to express him corporately unto glorification to becoming the mature bride of Christ awaiting our bridegroom to incorporate us into the New Jerusalem!

Hallelujah!

God’s complete salvation is of two aspects – judicial (related to law) and organic (related to life).

When He who knew no sin died for us we were redeemed and reconciled to God.

We experienced forgiveness, washing, justification, reconciliation and sanctification.

Praise the Lord!

Having been reconciled to God, much more we are be saved – organically – in His life! Hallelujah!

Praise the Lord for the procedure of His judicial salvation. Yet we have his marvelous organic aspect of His salvation, which is heavenly, mystical, organic and subjective.

These eight wonderful steps of regeneration, shepherding, sanctification, renewing, transforming, building, conforming, and glorification are the purpose of the complete salvation of God.

The result one day, will be that the processed Triune God and His regenerated, sanctified, transformed, and glorified elect will be joined and mingled as one to constitute an organism as the enlargement and expression of God in eternity. Hallelujah.

Lord keep us enjoying You and have our being, in Your life, day by day, for You, to carry out Your complete salvation in us, for Your eternal economy. Amen.

Verse 10 of this chapter points out that God’s full salvation revealed in this book consists of two sections: one section is the redemption accomplished for us by Christ’s death, and the other section is the saving afforded us by Christ’s life. The first four chapters of this book discourse comprehensively regarding the redemption accomplished by Christ’s death, whereas the last twelve chapters speak in detail concerning the saving afforded by Christ’s life. Before Rom. 5:11, Paul shows us that we are saved because we have been redeemed, justified, and reconciled to God. However, we have not yet been saved to the extent of being sanctified, transformed, and conformed to the image of God’s Son. Redemption, justification, and reconciliation, which are accomplished outside of us by the death of Christ, redeem us objectively; sanctification, transformation, and conformation, which are accomplished within us by the working of Christ’s life, save us subjectively. Objective redemption redeems us positionally from condemnation and eternal punishment; subjective salvation saves us dispositionally from our old man, our self, and our natural life.

Praise the Lord we have gained access to the Father in Christ Jesus! Our part, our need is simply to turn our hearts to the Lord and unceasingly pray!

“We have obtained access…into this grace in which we now stand.”

[HWFMR, Wk7, Day1, “Today’s Reading”, pge. 150].

Taking the cross and entering into a resurrection living, not looking to what pleases US, but looking away to what pleases the Lord opens the way to be genuinely one with others.

“For if we, being enemies, were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more we will be saved in His life, having been reconciled,” (Romans 5:10) Recovery Version

“In order that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 5:21) Recovery Version

“But whenever their heart turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. And the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. But we all with unveiled face, beholding and reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:16-18) Recovery Version
