God’s Intention Is to Bring Man to the Throne as Overcomers Reigning with Christ

...and they will reign forever and ever. Rev. 22:5

God’s intention is to work Himself into man and to work on man so that man can be on the throne; we believers in Christ are to be people of the throne, the co-kings in the age of the millennium to rule and reign with Christ, so today we need to dine with the Lord and enthrone Him in our being!

Praise the Lord, what a glorious destiny awaits us! Amen, Lord, we give ourselves to You today to just enjoy You! We enthrone You in our being. We come under the throne, and we come to the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace. We give You the preeminence today. We open the door of our heart to You. Come in, Lord, and dine with us and us with You. Make us Your overcomers in this age so that, when You return, we may be co-kings with You in the next age! Amen!

This week we have been prayerfully considering chapter 3 in Revelation to see how the Spirit is speaking to the churches, how Christ is the One who has the key of David, and how we can and should be those who dine with the Lord as His overcomers, even reign with Him.

Christ is walking in the midst of the local churches as the golden lampstands, and He is speaking to them. His speaking is recorded in the Bible.

We need to have an ear to hear what the Spirit is speaking to the churches. Christ’s speaking becomes the Spirit’s speaking, for the Spirit takes the Lord’s word and applies it to us in our experience and situation.

As the Spirit speaks to us and we have an ear to hear the Spirit’s speaking, we are infused with Christ, and we are produced as overcoming saints.

May we have circumcised ears, cleansed ears, opened ears, so we can hear the Spirit speaking to us.

When we hear the Lord’s speaking, we see Him; in particular, Christ is the One who has the key of David, the key of the treasury of the house of God and the key to the kingdom of God.

He has the key; He opens and no one shuts, and He shuts and no one can open. May we have an ear to hear, and may we enjoy Christ so that we may enter into the enjoyment of the riches in God’s treasury.

As we open the door of our heart to the Lord to let Him come into our mind, emotion, and will, He comes in and dines with us and us with Him.

He exposes the real situation of our being, we repent, we come to Him, and we let Him infuse us with Himself.

We eat and drink with Him; we have a rich feast of Christ, for He is the tree of life, the hidden manna, and the feast that is ever new for our enjoyment both in this age and in the next. Hallelujah!

God’s Intention is to Bring Man to the Throne: He wants to Gain the Overcomers who are Co-Kings ruling with Christ

He who overcomes, to him I will give to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne. Rev. 3:21

The promise to the overcomers in Laodicea, the degraded recovered church, is that the Lord will give them to sit with Him on His throne, even as He also overcame and sat with His Father on His throne (Rev. 3:21).

If we dine with the Lord, eating and drinking with Him in this age by opening the door of our heart to Him, He will reward us as His overcomers to sit with Him on the throne.

To sit with the Lord on His throne will be a prize to the overcomer, that he may participate in the Lord’s authority and be a co-king with Him in ruling over the whole earth in the coming millennial kingdom (Luke 19:11-27; Matt. 25:21, 23).

May we not think we know so much, we have so many riches, and we are in need of nothing; may we freshly seek God’s presence, even live in His presence today so that we may be people of the throne.

And he who overcomes and he who keeps My works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations; And he will shepherd them with an iron rod, as vessels of pottery are broken in pieces, as I also have received from My Father. Rev. 2:26-27God’s intention is to work Himself into man and to work on man in order that man can be on the throne; God’s desire is to make us people of the throne (Rev. 2:26-27; 3:21; 22:5; cf. Isa. 14:12-14). This is His intention from the beginning and He will gain this!

His desire is to bring man to the throne, for He wants to gain the overcomers who are co-kings with Christ.

Seeing this, we need to tell the Lord, Oh Lord, make us people of the throne! Bring us all the way to the throne! Make us the overcomers in this age who are rewarded to be co-kings ruling with Christ in the next!

We do not become people of the throne just by being saved or by getting a ticket or something like that; there’s a price to pay.

Today Satan resists God’s throne. He wants to rule and reign in his kingdom, and he opposes God and His kingdom. Who is actually reigning on the earth right now, is it God or is it Satan?

If we look at the situation on earth today, if we look at the situation in the country and city where we are, we realise that Satan seems to be prevailing. God cannot receive the full glory until man is brought to the throne.

The Lord Jesus is on the throne; He has attained this, but we now need to be brought to the throne. God’s kingdom cannot come in full until man is on the throne with Christ.

So God intends to work on man and to work Himself into man until man can be on the throne. We need to be people of the throne today (Rev. 2:26-27).

Today God faces a great difficulty: His throne has been opposed, attacked, and challenged by rebel forces.

So God created man in His image and according to His likeness and gave man dominion over all things (Gen. 1:26). Man is to rule over everything for God.

The first man, Adam, fell, but the second man, the last Adam, came and fulfilled God’s purpose, for through His death on the cross He destroyed the devil! Praise the Lord!

Now Christ as a Man is in the glory, and He is on the throne (Acts 2:36). God has made this One both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom the Jews have crucified.

But Christ is not interested that only He would reign by Himself; He wants to bring many to rule and reign with Him on the throne. He wants to bring many brothers to be His co-kings to rule with Him.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little inferior to the angels because of the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death on behalf of everything. For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and through whom are all things, in leading many sons into glory, to make the Author of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Heb. 2:9-10He is glorified, He is on the throne as a Man, and He wants to bring us to be glorified and be co-kings with Him on the throne.

He was the Pioneer, the Forerunner, and He cut the way to the throne (Heb. 6:20; 2:10). He is the first Man on the throne, and He is ruling and reigning on the throne.

Now we are marching to the throne, for we are being brought into glory so that we can rule and reign with Christ as people of the throne.

What glory it will be for God to show to the whole universe that the man He created and Satan usurped has now been glorified and enthroned to rule and reign over all things with Christ!

The Lord wants to bring us to the throne so that, just as He overcame and sat with His Father on His throne, so we would overcome and sit with Him on His throne.

May we be the Lord’s overcomers today, those who are brought to the throne to rule and reign with Christ.

May we be those who have God’s image and represent Him with His dominion, those through whom God will reign, administrate, and have dominion over Satan and his kingdom.

God intends to cast Satan down and redeem those taken captive by Satan and bring them to His throne.

When this happens, God receives all the glory, and man will be part of this glorious expression of God! May we be people of the throne today!

Lord Jesus, thank You for regenerating us with Your life so that we may be those who are brought to the throne! Wow, what a glorious destiny we have: we are meant to be co-kings with Christ, ruling and reigning with Him! Amen, Lord, we aspire to be Your overcomers today. May we be those who feast and dine with the Lord today by opening to Him the door of our heart for Him to come and make His home deep down in our heart. Make us Your overcomers today. Oh Lord, it is Your desire to gain some overcomers who will sit with You on the throne, even as You overcame and sat with Your Father on His throne. We say Amen, do this in us! Gain us and gain all the saints to be the overcomers You need today so that we may be the co-kings with Christ in the next age. Make us people of the throne. We enthrone You in our being. May we be under Your authority today so that, when You return, we may share in Your authority and rule with You! Amen, Lord, gain Your glory by gaining a group of overcomers who will be the co-kings with Christ in the next age!

Being People of the Throne today by Enthroning Christ in our Being and Allowing God to Work in us and on us to Qualify us for Kingship

And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them have dominion... Gen. 1:26

From the very beginning, God’s intention has been to work Himself into man and to work on man so that man can be on the throne, not only expressing God with His image but also representing Him with His dominion (Gen. 1:26; Rev. 2:26-27; 3:21; 22:5).

Even though man fell, Christ came and went through a process as a man; through His crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension, the Lord Jesus was brought to the throne!

Praise the Lord, now there’s a real man whose name is Jesus on the throne (Ezek. 1:26).

Today the Lord of heaven and earth, the Lord of the universe, is a man! This is why we today declare, Jesus is Lord, and this is why we call Him, O Lord Jesus!

He cut the way into glory and entered into glory, and now He is enthroned far above all. He led the way to the throne; He’s the Pioneer and Forerunner, cutting the path to the throne.

Now we follow Him. He took the lead; now we follow Him. We are now marching to the throne, for God intends to bring all His sons into glory and set them on the throne.

We are people of the throne today.

God intends to reign and administrate through man. One practical way for us to be people of the throne is to have a clear sky between us and the Lord; we need to deal with our conscience.

We need to have a clear sky with a throne above it in our experience; this is the highest point of our spiritual experience. This is very practical to us in our Christian life.

We need to deal with our conscience and pay attention to it. Too many times we may blissfully go on in the church life, meeting after meeting, day after day, without taking care of our conscience in an adequate and thorough way.

We may think we are fine, but we may harbour certain ill feelings toward some saints, we may be offended by someone and we may not let it go, or we may have an improper attitude toward others and do not repent.

While we may not necessarily need to confess this to someone, we need to deal with all these problems so that the Lord may purify our inner being and we may have a clear conscience.

Many times we just tolerate, even condone in ourselves, the idea of being offended or not liking someone; this is not appropriate, and this interrupts our fellowship with the Lord and cuts us off from the fellowship in the Body.

We are members one of another in the Body, and we cannot allow offenses and negative attitudes to remain; we need to deal with our conscience and have a clear sky with a throne above it so that we may be people of the throne.

We need to call on the name of the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Tim. 4:22) and be with such ones in the church life.

As we deal with our conscience and have a clear sky, we enthrone the Lord in our being, and He is on the throne in us.

And over the heads of the living creature there was the likeness of an expanse, like the sight of awesome crystal, stretched forth over their heads above....And above the expanse that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, like the appearance of a sapphire stone; and upon the likeness of the throne was One in appearance like a man, above it. Ezek. 1:22, 26He went ahead of the rest of us to make new discoveries and carve out the pathway to glory, the pathway to the throne.

Now He is bringing us to the throne so we can sit with Him on His throne.

This doesn’t mean that we rule over others or claim to have authority; as long as we are under a clear sky with a throne above it, there’s no need for us to claim to have authority – the authority is simply there.

We should never try to bring others under our authority; this is hierarchy and organisation, and this cannot be in the Body of Christ.

We don’t have a mission board, headquarters, or organisation; we are under the throne, we want to have the Lord’s presence, and we allow Him to rule and reign in us.

We only fear losing HIs presence, for we want to be people of the throne, those who have a clear sky with a throne above it.

Thank the Lord that we have been called to be sons of God and we are destined to be kings (Rom. 5:17, 21; cf. Ezek. 1:22, 26; Matt. 8:9).

Now we need to let the Lord work in us and on us to qualify us for kingship.

May we open to Him concerning this and have many conversations with Him throughout our daily life to give Him the cooperation He needs to gain this in us and among us.

Lord Jesus, we praise You for calling us to be sons of God who are destined to be kings! Hallelujah, our destiny as believers in Christ is the throne: we are people of the throne, and we will rule and reign with Christ for eternity! Amen, Lord, we open to You today. Work on us and in us to qualify us for kingship. We want to have a clear sky with a throne above it. We want to deal with anything that clouds the sky between You and us. Oh Lord, we enthrone You in our being. We deal with any offense, we want to confess any sins and trespasses, and we let Your light shine and expose anything that blocks our fellowship with You and with the saints. We give ourselves to You, Lord, to have a conscience void of offense so that we can become people of the throne! Strengthen us to pay the price to be brought into glory, all the way to the throne! Amen, Lord, we are now marching to the throne, for God intends to bring us into glory and set us on the throne!

We need to see that the Lord Jesus led the way to the throne. He was the Pioneer, the Forerunner (Heb. 6:20), cutting the path to the throne (2:10)… He was the first one to the throne, and we will come after Him. Now we are marching to the throne, for God intends to bring us into glory and to set us on the throne. When we overcome, we will sit with Christ on His throne and have authority to reign with the Lord and rule over the nations. God’s mind is on man (v. 6), and He wants man to express Him and to exercise His authority. Man has God’s image and God’s dominion with His authority. God desires to manifest Himself through man, and He desires to reign, to administrate, through man. God’s intention is to cast Satan down and to redeem many of those taken captive by Satan and bring them to His throne. God cannot receive the full glory until we are brought to the throne. One day we will be brought to the throne, and then God will be able to boast to Satan. He will triumphantly declare that His chosen ones, who had been taken captive by Satan, have been brought to the throne. However, we need to realize that in our present condition we may not be qualified to be on the throne…We have been called to be sons of God, and we are destined to be kings, but we need God to work in us and on us to qualify us for kingship.

Dear brother, God’s intention is to work Himself into man and to work on man in order that man can be on the throne – He wants us to become people of the throne!

First, Christ as a Man took the lead to go through death and resurrection to enter into glory and be enthroned, and now we follow Him!

May we enthrone Christ in our being today. May we let God work in us and on us to qualify us for kingship!

Oh Lord Jesus, make us Your overcoming saints, those who eat Christ, enjoy Christ, and live Christ, even enthrone Christ in their being, so that we may reign with You when You return! Bring us all the way to the throne!

If we want to know God’s presence, we should come to the throne. But not just anybody can have access to the throne. There’s a price to pay. The question of our cooperation is crucial for this! God’s desire is to make us people of the throne. This will be a shame to the enemy Satan that fallen man could be transformed to be brought to share the Throne of God!

Christ, as a man, the pioneer, has overcome, sat on the throne, cut the pathway for us, expecting man to overcome to sit with Him to the throne as co-kings. This is His desire!

For this, may we see need and exercise to deny the self, the soul-life, have a clear dealing with our conscience in order to have a clear sky to see the throne above!

Oh, we need a clear and clean conscience void of offence towards God and man day to day, in all we do! Daily, may we see the need to go before the Lord to clear up our inner being, our conscience, so that outwardly we can have such a clear sky to the throne above!

The Lord of the universe is a man, Hallelujah! May we call on this man:

Oh Lord Jesus! Oh Lord, have mercy on all of us to follow You to the life-giving throne! Oh, how we need God to work on us and in us to qualify us for kingship! Do this in us, Lord, with our cooperation!

Amen, brother! May we all allow God to work in us and on us to qualify us as overcomers fit for dominion and authority to sit with Christ as co-kings!

Praise the Lord, brother, for the glorious promises the Lord makes to those of His people who overcome the degradation of the church.

May we never forget & cease to believe in God’s promises. Like Abraham, Isaac & Jacob, we today should be a people who are energised & motivated by the promises of our faithful & unchanging God.

Christ has led the way to the throne and in obtaining God’s authority. Now, we must also march to the throne, always remembering that God has promised that we will sit with Christ on His throne and have authority to rule with Him over the nations.

God’s mind is on us, and He wants us to express Him and exercise His authority. However, like Christ, we need to qualify to be on the throne.

We need Christ to work in us and on us to qualify us for kingship.
