As the Lion-Lamb, Christ is Worthy to Open the Scroll and Carry out God’s Economy

In Revelation 5:9 we see a song of praise, even a new song of praise, saying that the Lamb is worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, for He has redeemed man of every tribe and nation; as the overcoming Lion and the redeeming Lamb, Christ is worthy and qualified to unveil and carry out the mystery of God’s economy!

Praise the Lord for the redeeming Lamb and the overcoming Lion! Hallelujah, worthy is the Lamb who has been slain to open the seals of God’s economy and carry out the divine economy in the whole universe! Amen, Lord, unveil us to see and appreciate Your worthiness! May we see who You are, what You have done, what You have accomplished, and what You are doing today! Increase our appreciation for You as the worthy Lamb so that we may sing a new song of praise to You! Praise the Lord! Amen!

This week we have been prayerfully considering and appreciating Christ as the Lion-Lamb as unveiled in Revelation chapter 5. He is not just the Lamb and He is not just the Lion; He is the worthy Lion-Lamb.

Christ is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David; He has overcome, and He has destroyed the devil.

Even more, in our daily life, He is undoing the works of the devil and we are one with Him to allow Him to remove and destroy any negative things in us.

He is also the Lamb of God, standing as having just been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

To God’s enemy, Christ is the Lion; to us, His people, He is the Lamb of God. He fought to redeem us, He accomplished God’s redemption, and His redemption can be applied to us by faith in His blood.

Also, His seven eyes are the seven Spirits of God, like flames of fire, and these eyes are for observing and searching, even for judging and purifying, and also for infusing and transfusing.

He is also the stone for God’s building; He’s the Lion-Lamb-stone for us to be infused with God for God’s building. Praise the Lord!

And right now, He is carrying out His organic salvation in an intensified way in us by being the seven Spirits, that is, by being the sevenfold intensified Spirit.

Because of the degradation of the church, the Spirit has been intensified sevenfold to counteract this degradation and to produce the overcomers so that the New Jerusalem may be consummated.

Thank the Lord that today the seven Spirits of God are like flames of fire all over the earth and also within our being to remove anything negative from our being and infuse God into us so that we may be the shining golden testimony of Jesus. Hallelujah!

Christ as the Overcoming Lion and the Redeeming Lamb is Worthy to Open the Scroll and Carry out the Divine Economy

Revelation 5:9 is a new song of praise to Christ as the overcoming Lion and the redeeming Lamb: He is worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, for He was slain and has purchased for God by His blood men out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation. Hallelujah!

This is a new song, for the Lamb who is praised had just been slain; this song praises the worthiness of the Lamb. No one is worthy to open the mystery of God’s economy but Christ.

He is worthy. He is qualified. He is not only the redeeming Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world but also the overcoming Lion who has defeated the enemy. He took care of God’s need by defeating God’s enemy, and He takes care of our need by redeeming us.

Christ is the overcoming Lion who has defeated Satan for God. Christ is the redeeming Lamb who has put away sin for us.

Only He is qualified to unveil, unlock, and carry out the mystery of God’s economy in this universe.

There is something hidden in God; He has created all things, He has made the universe and all things in it, but He hid Himself.

His seekers in the Old Testament realised that, even though they loved God and prayerfully mused on His word, they did not know what was in God’s heart, what was hidden in His heart.

This was revealed to us in the New Testament, for the mystery of God’s economy has been revealed to us in spirit (Eph. 3:5, 9).

The One who carries out God’s economy, however, is Christ; He is the only One qualified to do this. Christ is the worthy Lion-Lamb who has brought God’s authority to the earth and has redeemed us for God. We need to see the worthiness of Christ.

He is worthy not only because He is God incarnated to be a man or because He died for us on the cross.

He is worthy in a supreme way because He has redeemed us out of every tribe and tongue and nation for God, and He has also overcome the enemy! Christ is victorious.

He is the overcoming Lion of the tribe of Judah and the Lamb who has accomplished a full redemption for God’s chosen people.

This One is completely qualified and positioned to open the mystery of God’s economy.

Most Christians appreciate Christ’s death for them on the cross, for He died for us to redeem us, shedding His blood and rescuing us from eternal perdition by faith in Him.

But who realises that Christ is worthy to open the seals of God’s economy? Do we see His worthiness to open the seals of the secret of God’s economy?

This aspect of the Lord’s worthiness is universal and immeasurable, for this is what He is doing and will be doing for eternity!

What is hidden in God’s heart, the divine economy issuing from His heart’s desire and based on His purpose, is being carried out by Christ as the worthy Lion-Lamb!

Only Christ as the overcoming Lion and the redeeming Lamb, can unlock, unveil, unravel, open up, and carry out the mystery of God’s economy in this universe, and He is worthy of our praises! Christ is truly worthy of our praises; He is worthy of our lives.

May we have an increased appreciation of Christ as the One being qualified to open the secret of God’s economy and carry it out by means of the seven Spirits of God today.

May we see His worthiness. May we apply His precious blood, even overcome by His blood (Rev. 12:11), and may we allow Him to be the overcoming Lion in us to swallow up any death and remove anything negative from our being.

May we be one with Him in the carrying out of God’s economy. The mystery of the universe, which no one on earth can unravel, can be opened up and carried out only by Christ.

Today, scientists try their best to unravel the universe and explain its mysteries. They discover new things every day, and they are filled with awe at the amazingness of the universe.

But they have not yet discovered or seen the meaning of the universe and the purpose of human existence, because this secret is hidden from them. Only One person is worthy: Christ as the overcoming Lion and the redeeming Lamb.

Only the worthy Lion-Lamb is qualified to open the seals of the mystery of God’s economy and carry it out on the earth.

He does it both by judgment and by infusing; He has to judge anything of the enemy and his ground in our being and in the universe, and He redeems His chosen people and transforms them to make them the same as Christ.

All we can say is, Praise the Lord, He is worthy! Amen!

Lord Jesus, unveil us to see Your worthiness as the overcoming Lion and as the redeeming Lamb! Amen, Lord, may we realise that You are the worthy Lion-Lamb today who is qualified to unlock the mysteries of God’s economy! Wow, Lord, You are worthy! We praise You! We worship You! You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals! You are worthy because You were slain and have purchased for God by Your blood men out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation! Hallelujah, we were purchased by the Lamb of God and we are made a kingdom and priests to our God! Praise the Lord for the worthy Lion-Lamb! Hallelujah! We love You, Lord, and we appreciate You! We sing a new song to worship You and to appreciate Your worthiness! Amen, worthy is the Lamb! Praise the Lord as the Lion-Lamb! Unveil us to see You, Lord, and appreciate You! You are universally and immeasurably worthy, and we just praise You! You cause us to see the secret of the universe and the meaning of our human existence! Praise the Lord!

Christ is Worthy to Open the Seals of the Divine Economy and Carry out the Mystery of God’s Economy

There is great joy and much praise in heaven by the angelic elders when they see Christ as the worthy Lion-Lamb who has come and has been qualified to open the scroll in the hand of the One on the throne (Rev. 5). Hallelujah, worthy is the Lion-Lamb!

The question is, What is this scroll? In a sense, we are not told what the scroll is, but in another sense, we can know what the scroll is today.

This scroll is the new covenant enacted by the Lord’s blood; without this scroll, this universe has no meaning. This scroll contains the mysteries of God’s economy.

All the mysteries hidden in God, all the things that happened, are happening, and will happen in the created universe, all are recorded in this scroll.

The rest of the book of Revelation shows us the things that will take place all the way until the New Jerusalem.

We human beings seek, grope, and do our best to find what is the meaning of our human life is, what the meaning of the universe is, and what is really going on today; the only One who can help us see these things is Christ as the worthy Lion-Lamb.

A scroll is a roll of parchment or another material, and this particular scroll in the hand of the One on the throne is rolled up; it is not easy to determine how long it is.

This scroll in Revelation 5 is eternally long, and it is written on the front and on the back. Many are trying to see what is in the scroll, and many are trying to find what is written in it, for there’s eternity in man’s heart.

However, only Christ as the worthy Lion-Lamb, is qualified to open the mystery of God’s economy and carry it out.

When we contact the Lord in spirit, when we exercise our spirit as we come to the Lord in His word, we see more and more aspects of God’s eternal economy.

Even for eternity, we will see more and more of God’s economy, for the Lord will still unravel and carry out the contents of God’s economy for eternity. Wow!

Our Christ, the worthy Lion-Lamb, has received from God the authority to administrate the entire universe (Rev. 5:1, 6-7).

He is the real Administrator of the heavens and all the nations on the earth. After He went through incarnation, death, and resurrection, He was given in His resurrection all the authority in heaven and on earth Matt. 28:18).

He is the Lamb of God standing in the midst of the four living creatures and of the angelic elders before the throne of God. He is qualified to take the scroll that has seven seals and unlock the seals, open the scroll, and carry it out.

Throughout the centuries, many wise men tried to understand what is the purpose of the universe.

They discovered planets, constellations, and many principles of physics, astronomy, and biology, but they did not understand what is the purpose and meaning of the universe.

What is the real reason behind all these things? The Bible shows us that there’s a schedule of God’s administration in the universe, which is God’s eternal economy; there’s a timetable of what will take place from the ascension of Christ to the New Jerusalem.

This is the scroll of the new covenant enacted by the Lord’s blood, and its seven seals can be unlocked by Christ as the worthy Lion-Lamb.

He can unlock the seals of the mystery of God’s economy and He is qualified to carry out God’s eternal economy.

What a Christ we have! He is the Lion-Lamb, fully qualified to open the scroll of the mystery of God’s economy and carry it out!

Thank the Lord for going through incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection to be the worthy Lion-Lamb today!

We must worship Christ as the worthy Lion-Lamb and as the Administrator in the heavens who is administering all things for the fulfilment of God’s economy! Amen!

Lord Jesus, You are the worthy Lion-Lamb! We praise You! We worship You! You are worthy, for You have all authority in heaven and on earth! Hallelujah, Christ is qualified to unlock the seals of the scroll of mysteries of God’s economy, and He is the worthy Lion-Lamb who carries out God’s economy today! Amen, Lord, we turn to You right now. We exercise our spirit to contact You and be in Your word. Unveil us to see the mysteries of God’s economy. May we see what is the meaning of our human existence is and what the purpose of the universe! Amen, Lord, You are worthy! You solved all the problems between us and God and You solved all of God’s problems! You are the unique One! You are the worthy One! Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, the overcoming Lion of the tribe of Judah and the redeeming Lamb who is worthy to open the scroll of the mysteries of God’s economy and carry out God’s eternal economy in this universe! Praise the Lord!
