Live a Miraculous yet Normal Life having Spiritual Experiences that Match the Church Life

And He Himself gave some as apostles and some as prophets and some as evangelists and some as shepherds and teachers, For the perfecting of the saints unto the work of the ministry, unto the building up of the Body of Christ. Eph. 4:11-12

We need to love the Lord Jesus in incorruptibility in the spiritual experiences that match the church life as unveiled in the book of Ephesians.

The book of Ephesians ends with, The grace of the Lord be with those who love the Lord Jesus in incorruptibility.

The conclusion of the entire book is that we enjoy Christ as grace when we love the Lord in incorruptibility.

What does it mean for us to love the Lord in incorruptibility? The whole book of Ephesians is required to unpack and unveil what this means.

Again and again, Paul mentions, in love. We were chosen and predestinated in love. The Body builds itself up in love.

Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for the church. We need to walk in love.

For us to live a proper church life for the building up of the Body of Christ, a church life in which we enjoy the Lord and advance with Him, we need to love the Lord in incorruptibility.

On one hand, to love the Lord in incorruptibility is to do the work of the ministry to build up the Body of Christ; this is seen in Eph. 4.

Many Christians agree and enjoy many of the aspects of the church spoken of in Ephesians, but when they come to chapter 4, they may not believe that something like this is possible today.

Eph. 4:11-12 shows that the Body is built up directly NOT by the gifted members and even not by Christ but by every member of the Body that is perfected by the gifted members and functions in its measure.

The Body of Christ builds itself up in love as every member grows in life and functions in its measure, being perfected to function for the building up of the Body of Christ.

This means that every single believer in Christ needs to function in the church life so that the Body may be built up.

And to function in the church life doesn’t only mean that we need to do practical things related to the church; it mainly means that we need to speak for the Lord and speak the Lord forth for the building up of the church.

How can we speak for the Lord and what shall we speak?

We need to daily enjoy Christ, experience Christ, and live in intimate contact with Him; then, when we come together, there will be something of Christ that is in us to speak to others for the building up of the Body of Christ.

May we be those who live in oneness with the Lord and who are open to Him and to the saints to be perfected to function in the church for the building up of the Body of Christ.

There are two aspects to our loving the Lord in incorruptibility: on the personal side, we need to have the spiritual experiences of Christ, and on the corporate side, we need to function in the Body for the building up of the Body of Christ.

Love the Lord in Incorruptibility in the Spiritual Experiences that Match the Church Life

That Christ may make His home in your hearts through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love. Eph. 3:17

We love the Lord in incorruptibility by having spiritual experiences that match the church life as revealed in each chapter of the epistle to the Ephesians.

Chapter 3 reveals the need to be strengthened into our inner man so that Christ may make His home in our hearts; when we do this, we love the Lord in incorruptibility.

We need to be strengthened into our inner man, our spirit, by the Father according to the riches of His glory so that Christ may make His home in our hearts; this is the way to love the Lord in incorruptibility.

We may love the Lord in our soul, but our soul may be either too hot or too cold; we may either be too hot in our emotions or too cold toward the Lord.

When our emotion is stirred up, we may not be able to bridle them or control them in responding to or proposing things.

May be full of strength to apprehend with all the saints what the breadth and length and height and depth are and to know the knowledge-surpassing love of Christ, that you may be filled unto all the fullness of God. Eph. 3:18-19Furthermore, we may be easily offended or cause turmoil in the church.

May we love the Lord by turning to our spirit; may we love Him in experiencing Him in spirit and have the spiritual experiences that match the church life.

Loving the Lord by turning to our spirit edifies the saints and builds up the Body of Christ.

Loving the Lord in incorruptibility is loving Him in things that are fitting for the church life. May we realize that we need to love the Lord in the spiritual experiences that match the church life.

To do this, we need to first turn to our spirit so that Christ can settle down in our hearts.

Then, we will be rooted and grounded in love and will be able to apprehend with all the saints the dimensions of Christ.

We will also be able to know the knowledge-surpassing love of Christ (Eph. 3:19).

The love of Christ surpasses human knowledge, yet we can know it by experiencing it.

If we apprehend the love of Christ with the saints, we will together be filled unto all the fullness of the Triune God. Hallelujah!

This is to be filled to the extent that we become the expression of the processed Triune God! Such spiritual experiences in the divine life make us fit for the church life.

Such experiences of Christ match the church life, and they are a proof that we love the Lord in incorruptibility.

We need to love the Lord in incorruptibility in the spiritual experiences that match the church life as unveiled in each chapter of Ephesians.

Chapter 1 unveils our being chosen in Christ to be holy and without blemish before God in love (v. 2).

Chapter 2 unveils our being God’s masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works (v. 10).

Chapter 3 unveils the unsearchable riches of Christ becoming our enjoyment, Christ making His home in our hearts, and our being filled unto all the fullness of God (vv. 8, 14-19).

Chapter 4 unveils our putting off the old man and putting on the new man (vv. 22-24).

Chapter 5 unveils our being filled in spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and psalming with our heart to the Lord (vv. 18-19).

Chapter 6 unveils our being empowered in the Lord and putting on the whole armour of God (vv. 10-11).

We need to love the Lord in incorruptibility in the spiritual experiences that match the church life as unveiled in each chapter of Ephesians. Chapter 1 unveils our being chosen in Christ to be holy and without blemish before God in love (v. 4); chapter 2 unveils our being God's masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works (v. 10); chapter 3 unveils the unsearchable riches of Christ becoming our enjoyment, Christ making His home in our hearts, and our being filled unto all the fullness of God (vv. 8,14-19); chapter 4 unveils our putting off the old man and putting on the new man (vv. 22-24); chapter 5 unveils our being filled in spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and psalming with our heart to the Lord (vv. 18-19); and chapter 6 unveils our being empowered in the Lord and putting on the whole armor of God (vv. 10-11). 2022 fall ITERO, week 3The key to all the spiritual experiences unveiled in the book of Ephesians is for us to be strengthened into our inner man (Eph. 3:16) in order to be supplied with the supporting grace. We need to enter into all these spiritual experiences.

The secret to all the spiritual experiences we need for the church life as we love the Lord in incorruptibility is Eph. 6:24; grace is the source of loving the Lord in incorruptibility, and grace supplies us to love the Lord in incorruptibility.

Grace is unsearchably great, for it supplies us with the unsearchable riches of Christ (Eph. 3:2, 8).

How can we experience grace? It is by being strengthened into our inner man so that Christ may make His home in our hearts through faith.

When Christ is making His home in our hearts, everything He is and has will be available in us and to us for our enjoyment.

If we are strengthened into our inner man and we allow Christ to make His home in our hearts, He is gracing us, giving us all the riches of His grace.

It is with this supporting grace that we can be holy and without blemish, walk as God’s masterpiece in the good works prepared by God, put off the old man, put on the new man, be filled in spirit, be empowered, and put on the whole armour of God.

May we be those who love the Lord in incorruptibility by having the spiritual experiences that match the church life today!

Lord Jesus, we want to love You in incorruptibility in the spiritual experiences that match the church life today. Thank You for choosing us to be holy and without blemish before God in love. Make us Your masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works. Amen, Lord Jesus, keep us enjoying Your unsearchable riches so that Christ may make His home in our hearts and we may be filled unto all the fullness of God! We want to put off the old man and put on the new man for the church life. May we be filled in spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and psalming with our hearts to the Lord! Amen, Lord, may we be empowered in the Lord and put on the whole armour of God! Father, strengthen us into our inner man according to the riches of Your glory through Your Spirit so that Christ may make His home in our hearts through faith! Amen, may we be full of strength to apprehend with all the saints the immeasurable dimensions of Christ and be filled unto all the fullness of God!

Living a Miraculous yet Normal Life that Loves the Lord in Incorruptibility for the Church Life

But holding to truth in love, we may grow up into Him in all things, who is the Head, Christ, Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and [through] the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love. Eph. 4:15-16As believers in Christ, we were regenerated by God with His life and nature.

Regeneration is something miraculous yet normal; through regeneration, we are born of God, yet this is in a normal way. Hallelujah!

Our Christian life is both miraculous and normal, for it is miraculous because we enjoy and experience God, but it is normal because it is in our daily living, with nothing out of the ordinary!

It is most amazing that we are born of God, but at the same time, it is so normal.

Our being holy or being sanctified is also something miraculous, but it is very normal, for we can experience it simply by asking the Father to strengthen us into our inner man so that Christ may make His home in our hearts.

We can experience all the things spoken of in Ephesians in a miraculous yet normal way.

We believers in Christ live a miraculous yet normal life that loves the Lord in incorruptibility for the church life.

If we fail, if we sin, or if we backslide, we can simply turn to the Lord again, repent, apply His precious blood, and go on enjoying Him.

We can be revived every morning by contacting the Lord in such a normal yet miraculous way.

We can be revived again and again throughout the day in a normal way.

If we have a sense that we are sinful, we can simply pray to confess our sins, ask the Lord’s forgiveness, and apply His precious blood.

Right away we can be cleansed and revived.

We don’t have to pray for a long period of time and do some outward things to please God; we can simply contact the Lord, speak a genuine word to Him, and He will become our experience and enjoyment again.

We can be instantly revived simply by contacting the Lord and speaking to Him from our inner being. This is so normal yet so miraculous.

No penance has to be paid, no candles have to be lit up, and no amount of good work needs to be done in order to appease God; we can simply turn to Him.

We can love the Lord in incorruptibility simply by asking the Father to strengthen us into our inner man through the Spirit so that Christ may make His home in our hearts through faith.

He who believes into Me, as the Scripture said, out of his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:38 What then, brothers? Whenever you come together, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up. 1 Cor. 14:26Then, when we come to the meetings of the church after we enjoy and experience Christ, we have the spiritual experiences that match the church life, and we can overflow to others with the Christ we have enjoyed.

Hallelujah, we can speak to Christ, enjoy Him, live Him, walk according to the spirit, and speak Christ, and when we come to the meetings we will have rivers of living waters flowing out of our innermost being (John 7:38)!

This is the way for us to live the church life and have a revived life, a life that continually overcomes, and a life that loves the Lord in incorruptibility.

May we live such a miraculous yet normal life day by day, a life of being revived, contacting the Lord, overcoming, and loving the Lord in incorruptibility. What a miraculous normality!

It is miraculous for a person to be transferred into the Triune God, it is miraculous for us to be transformed, and it is miraculous to become God in life and in nature.

All these are miraculous, but at the same time, they are so normal.

May we live a miraculously normal life by being revived every morning and overcoming every day.

Then, we will learn to love the Lord in incorruptibility.

Thank You, dear Lord Jesus, for bringing us into the miraculous yet normal experiences of Christ as our everything for the church life. Thank You for regenerating us with the divine life and for renewing us every day so that we may be transformed and conformed to the image of Christ. Wow, how amazing it is for us to experience and enjoy God as life, yet how normal it is in our experience! Grant us to have the spiritual experiences that match the church life so that we may be those who love the Lord in incorruptibility. We want to live a miraculously normal life by being revived every morning and overcoming every day. We love You, dear Lord Jesus!

    – Lord, as the seed of life within, / Grow more in us each day; / By spreading from our deepest part, / Gain us in every way. / Lord, strengthen Thou our inner man; / Make home in all our heart. / Fill us completely with Thyself / In every inward part. (Hymns #1212 stanza 4)
