The purpose of spiritual warfare is to bring in the kingdom of God, and the overcomers today conquer the satanic chaos by loving the Lord, enjoying Him as the tree of life, remaining in the truth, and enjoying Him as grace, so that, when the Lord returns, He will marry His bride, those who have overcome the enemy! Praise the Lord!
Oh Lord, make us Your overcomers today! Make us those who overcome the enemy in our lifetime. May we engage in spiritual warfare to defeat the enemy and bring in the kingdom of God. We love You, Lord, and we stand with You on earth. We want to bring Your kingdom and displace the enemy with all his viles. We come to You to enjoy You, partake of Your grace, and be one with You in spiritual warfare today! Amen!
This week we have been prayerfully considering the matters of the measure of God’s rule and some ministry on spiritual warfare. The apostles did not boast beyond their measure; rather, they stayed within the measure of the rule which the God of measure apportioned to them.
Each one of us has a certain measure of growth in life, functioning in the Body, and participating in the Lord’s service. It is easy to either be too much or too little in the Lord’s service.
Like the apostle Paul, we need to learn to take the Lord’s restriction. We should act and behave within our measure, especially in our service to the Lord. This means that we need to turn to our spirit, serve in spirit, and not go beyond the limit that the Lord has set for us.
Also, we remain in the Body; as we serve in the Body, we will know our limit. Amen!
In relation to the spiritual warfare, we need to engage in warfare for the kingdom of God. As we fight the spiritual warfare, we are in the ascension, one with the Lord, and from there we fight by standing in the Lord’s victory. Amen!
Spiritual warfare is necessary because God has an enemy, and Satan’s will is against God’s will. As believers in Christ, we are one with God for His will to be done and His kingdom to come, but Satan stands against God and His will.
So we exercise our spirit, we see our position, and we fight the spiritual warfare from the position of ascension. We engage in spiritual warfare to conquer the satanic chaos and triumph in the divine economy.
Satan brings in chaos, but we stand one with the Lord in His economy to bring in the kingdom of God. As we are suffering the chaos, we stand for and live out the divine economy.
The Purpose of Spiritual Warfare is to bring in the Kingdom of God: we Overcome Satan to bring in God’s Kingdom!
What is the purpose of spiritual warfare? It is not just to defeat God’s enemy and put him to shame; the purpose of spiritual warfare is to bring in the kingdom of God (Rev. 12:10).
From God’s point of view, the church life is for the kingdom of God, and the function of the church is to bring the kingdom of God to the earth.
Spiritual warfare is between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan (Matt. 12:26, 28-29).
We believers in Christ are part of the church, a corporate fighting entity that fights the spiritual warfare one with the Lord against Satan so that we may bring in the kingdom of God.
The kingdom of God is the exercise of the divine will and the overthrowing of the power of Satan by the power of God (6:10; 12:28).
The Lord gave us His power in spiritual warfare; we stand one with Him and we exercise the divine authority to overthrow the power of Satan.
We do this as the church, in the Body, not individually. What God is after is not individual or lone rangers- those who take things into their own hands and are great spiritual warriors; He wants to gain a group of overcomers who fight the spiritual warfare.
We overcome Satan in the Body and as the Body, and we bring in the kingdom of God by standing in the Body.
The work of the church is to bring in the kingdom of God, and through prayer the church must release the power of the kingdom of God upon the earth (Matt. 16:18-19; 6:9-10, 13; 18:19; Rev. 11:15).
This is the work of the church. Through prayer, we as the church release the power of the kingdom of God upon the earth. Sadly, however, the church as a whole has failed God and does not exercise its responsibility before God.
However, the Lord is calling for His overcomers. He wants His overcomers to release God’s will on earth. He wants to gain the overcoming saints today.
When the Lord returns as the Bridegroom, He will marry those who have been fighting the battle against God’s enemy and have been overcoming him.
When He returns, Christ will marry His overcomers, those who have already overcome the evil one (Rev. 19:7-9, 11-16).
We need to be the Lord’s overcomers today, those who overcome by the blood of the enemy, by not loving our soul life even unto death, and by the word of our testimony.
As we overcome the enemy day by day, standing one with the Lord in spirit and releasing His will on the earth, we are being built up as the Lord’s overcoming bride.
The overcomers who constitute the bride of Christ fight the battle against all the enemies of God and defeat them (Rev. 2:7, 11, 17, 26; 3:5, 12, 21).
Spiritual warfare is taking place today, and even though all the saints know about it, it is mainly the overcomers who fight the battle.
The Lord wants to gain us as His overcoming saints to engage in spiritual warfare to bring in the kingdom to the earth.
The overcomers constitute the fighting bride who will marry the Lord at His coming. The overcomers engage in the warfare against death and the reign of life over death (Matt. 16:18; John 5:24; 1 Tim. 6:19; 2 Tim. 1:10; 1 John 3:14; Rom. 5:17, 21).
They not only overcome death but also reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ, who rules and reigns in them.
The overcomers conquer the destructive chaos and triumph in the constructive divine economy (2 Tim. 1:9, 15; 2:1, 17-18; 4:22).
They not only live in the satanic chaos and are not affected by it; they overcome the enemy and conquer the destructive chaos, triumphing over it in the constructive divine economy.
The overcomers are not delivered from the present chaos but rather, they conquer the chaos by the processed and consummated Triune God as the all-sufficient grace. May we be such ones today.
Lord Jesus, we give ourselves to You today. Make us Your overcoming saints. We want to overcome by being one with You. Rule and reign in us. May we reign in the divine life by allowing You to rule in our being. Amen, Lord, we stand one with You in the Body and with all the saints so that we may fight the spiritual warfare to bring in the kingdom of God! May Your kingdom come and may Your will be done. We exercise the divine will to overthrow the power of Satan by the power of God. Lord Jesus, we stand one with You on the ground of the church, in the Body of Christ, to overthrow the power of Satan and bring in the kingdom of God! We stand one with You and with all the saints in the Body to bring in the kingdom of God! We pray to release the power of the kingdom of God upon the earth! May we be those who overcome by being one with You today! May we conquer the satanic chaos by the processed and consummated Triune God as our all-sufficient grace! Keep us one with You, Lord, to conquer the destructive chaos and triumph in the constructive divine economy! Amen!
Conquer the Satanic Chaos by the Lord’s Grace, According to the Truth, by Loving the Lord, and by Eating the Tree of Life!
The Lord wants to bring in His kingdom to the earth; He first took the lead to come as the kingdom of God, He sowed Himself as the kingdom in the soil of our heart, and now He wants to spread and increase His kingdom in us and through us.
The purpose of the spiritual warfare of the church is to bring in the kingdom of God; the overcomers fight the spiritual warfare on behalf of the church, and they bring in the kingdom of God.
Today we believers in Christ are in the midst of the satanic chaos, and God does not rescue us from it; He wants us to overcome this chaos and conquer it.
How do we do it? First, it is by the processed and consummated Triune God as the all-sufficient grace. The grace of the Lord is with us, and we can labour more abundantly than others because of the grace with us (1 Cor. 15:10).
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is with our spirit (Gal. 6:18), for the Lord is with our spirit (2 Tim. 4:22).
Grace is with our spirit; when we turn to our spirit, we enjoy the Lord’s all-sufficient grace, we conquer the satanic chaos, and we carry out the unique divine economy.
Actually, it is not us who does it; it is the grace of God which is with us. The more we enjoy the Lord’s all-sufficient grace, the more we overcome the enemy and conquer the satanic chaos, and we bring in the kingdom of God.
We can conquer all the satanic chaos and carry out the divine economy according to the truth. The church is the pillar and base of the truth (1 Tim. 3:15-16).
We need to remain in the truth in God’s word; as we dive into the truth, are constituted with the truth, and remain in the truth, we are set free, and the enemy cannot touch us.
When rebellion comes in, when turmoils come, we stand strong, for we are filled with the truth, and we can speak the truth in love.
Our teaching of the truth will enlighten the darkened people and will inoculate others against the poison.
As we remain in the truth and speak the truth, death is swallowed up, and those who are distracted will be brought back to the proper track.
May we remain in the truth in God’s word so that, according to the truth, we may conquer the satanic chaos and triumph in the divine economy! Amen!
In Revelation chapters 2 and 3 we see certain conditions for us to conquer all the satanic chaos and carry out the unique divine economy; as overcomers, we need to be those who love the Lord and eat Him as the tree of life! Amen!
We need to love the Lord with the first love (Rev. 2:4). Once the first love is gone, degradation comes in. May we daily contact the Lord and give Him our first love, our best love.
We can liken the first love to the love of newlyweds; they love one another so much, but it is easy for them to lose the freshness of this love after some time of being married.
May we recover our wedding, bridal love toward our dear Husband, Jesus Christ.
May we give Him the best love today, giving ourselves to just love the Lord. As we love the Lord, we conquer the satanic chaos, one with Him.
We need to love the Lord with the first love and eat Him as the tree of life growing in the Paradise of God (v. 7).
On the one hand, we love the Lord with the first love. On the other hand, we eat Christ as the entire tree of life. As we eat Christ as the tree of life, the church life becomes the paradise of God to us. This is a foretaste of the New Jerusalem, the real Paradise of God.
God wants us to have a foretaste of the Paradise of God today as we love the Lord with the first love and eat Christ as the tree of life.
We can have such a foretaste today in the church life as we enjoy Christ as the tree of life. When we depend on Him as life, partaking not of the knowledge of good and evil but of Christ as life, we conquer the satanic chaos.
We can overcome the degradation in the church, which is part of the satanic chaos, by loving the Lord with the first love and by eating Christ as the entire tree of life.
When we do this, the church life today becomes the precursor of the coming paradise, the miniature of the New Jerusalem.
It is only the Lord’s all-sufficient grace that can empower us to overcome the enemy to bring in the kingdom of God, and we overcome by loving the Lord with the first love and by eating Christ as the tree of life. Just love the Lord.
There is no other way so prevailing, so sweet, and so full of enjoyment. We just need to love Him and give ourselves to enjoy Him as the tree of life.
Lord Jesus, we want to conquer the satanic chaos around us and in us by the processed and consummated Triune God as the all-sufficient grace! Hallelujah, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is with our spirit! Amen, Lord, keep us turning to our spirit. May we live in spirit and do all things in the mingled spirit. May all we do and say be by the grace of God, and may even our labour for the Lord be by the all-sufficient grace! We want to remain in Your word and be constituted with the truth so that, as we teach the truth, light may shine, others may be inoculated, and any death may be swallowed! Oh Lord Jesus, we love You! We give ourselves to You to just love You. We want to love You with our first love, our best love. May we recover our wedding, bridal love for our Husband, the Lord Jesus Christ. We come to You to enjoy You as the tree of life. You are our life. We depend on You as life and we love You with the best love. Amen, Lord Jesus, keep us loving You and eating You as the tree of life so that we may conquer the satanic chaos and bring in the kingdom of God! Amen!
