Maintain the Position of Ascension to Engage in Spiritual Warfare Standing in Victory

Your kingdom come; Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth. Matt. 6:10

As we live with Christ in His ascension as a new creation in resurrection, we engage in spiritual warfare for the kingdom of God; we need to maintain the position of ascension and fight for God’s will to be done on earth so that God’s kingdom may come and His will be done.

Amen, Lord Jesus, we want to live with You in ascension as a new creation in resurrection! Bring us on with You. Grant us the experiences we need for us to grow in life unto maturity and advance in our experience of life. Oh Lord, we love You and we stand with You on earth today. Our will is one with Your will. May Your will be done and may Your kingdom come. Amen, Lord, we want to put on the whole armour of God and fight the spiritual battle in the Lord by maintaining the position of ascension! Amen!

In the matter of spiritual warfare, it is very important for us to see our position and realise that Satan’s will stands against God’s will.

The reason there’s a need for spiritual warfare is that Satan, an archangel created by God who used to lead and head up the universe before the creation of Adam, rebelled against God.

Satan drew to himself a large portion of angels, who also have free will, and he set up his own kingdom of darkness and sin. Now Satan’s will is set against God’s will, and Satan wants to expand his kingdom and damage the kingdom of God.

When we were not born again, before we became citizens of the kingdom of God, we were part of Satan’s kingdom of darkness without even knowing it.

We only realised that we can’t do the good we want to do, and we can’t get rid of many bad habits, sins, and weaknesses.

But when we believed into the Lord Jesus and were baptised, praise the Lord, we were transferred out of the kingdom of Satan, the kingdom of darkness, into the kingdom of God, the kingdom of light! Hallelujah!

Now we as believers in Christ are in the kingdom of God, and we need to see what our position is: we are in the position of ascension, and we stand with the Lord to defeat the enemy, eliminate any darkness, and snatch many out of Satan’s kingdom to bring them into God’s kingdom.

May the Lord shine on us and show us our position in spiritual warfare. May we see that the victory has been won and may we stand one with the Lord in ascension for His will to be done and His kingdom to come!

Fight the Spiritual Warfare to Subdue the Satanic Will and Defeat God’s Enemy by Standing in Christ’s Victory

You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, for You have created all things, and because of Your will they were, and were created. Rev. 4:11

Today many people want peace and not war, and they think that the way to end conflict is negotiation; the more they do this, however, the more they lose their freedom, their goods, and their being, and the more the enemy wins and they lose.

Spiritual warfare is necessary today because Satan’s will is set against God’s will; Satan’s will is not something we negotiate with but rather, we fight against it.

The Lord told us to pray, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth (Matt. 6:10).

There are three wills in this universe: the divine will (God’s will), the evil will (Satan’s will) and the created will (man’s will).

There was one will at the beginning, which is God’s will, but Satan rebelled against God and imposed his own will, so now there is Satan’s will against God’s will.

We need to understand what the will of the Lord is (Eph. 5:17; Col. 1:9). As believers in Christ, we need to know what God’s will is. God’s will is what He wants and what He intends to accomplish (Eph. 1:5, 9, 11).

God has an eternal will, which is much more than what He wants to do in our life; He has an eternal will, which is the source of His eternal purpose (v. 11; 3:11).

God Himself is eternal, without any beginning or ending, so His will is also eternal. Because of His will, all things were and were created, and because of His will we are here, for the will of God lies at the heart of the origin of the universe (Rev. 4:11).

God created all things for His will so that He may accomplish and fulfil His purpose. Everyone and everything is created by God for His will, so that He may fulfil His purpose.

In particular, the will of God is concentrated in Christ and is for Christ to have the first place in all things (Col. 1:15-18; 3:4, 10-11). This is His perfect will.

Many people, however, even the vast majority of Christians, know and want to have God’s permissive will, for they do not know the perfect will of God. We need to know the will of God and stand one with the will of God.

We need to be infused with the will of God and allow God’s will to saturate us and permeate us so that we pray for His will to be done and for His kingdom to come. God’s perfect will is Christ and the church.

What God wants to gain is Christ and the church; the will of God is to obtain the church as the Body of Christ (Eph. 5:32; 1:9, 22-23; 2:21-22; 4:16).

We need to settle before the Lord once and for all that we are here not for our own will to be done and not merely for God’s permissive will to be done in our life but even more, for God’s perfect will to be done.

Making known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Himself. Eph. 1:9 This mystery is great, but I speak with regard to Christ and the church. Eph. 5:32We exist because of His will. We live because of His will. His will is done in our life. We stand with His will. We stand one with the Lord for His will to be done in us.

Besides God’s will, however, there is Satan’s will, which always opposes God’s will. Satan has his will and his kingdom, and we are still under his influence whenever we are not in our spirit.

When we are in spirit, we can know the will of God and we can be one with the will of God. But when we’re not in our spirit, we do not see God’s will and we do our own will, which many times is influenced by Satan to be his will.

May we know the perfect will of God and stand with His will today.

May we pray for His will to be done and may we join ourselves to Him to build up the church as the Body of Christ for Him to gain a corporate expression of Himself on the earth.

May we stand in the victory of Christ, one with Him, and release His will on the earth!

Lord Jesus, unveil us to see the will of God! May we realise that God has a will, something that He wants and that He intends to accomplish. Unveil us, Lord, to see the eternal will of God, the source of God’s eternal purpose. Thank You for creating us according to Your will and in Your will. Hallelujah, God created all things for His will so that He might accomplish and fulfil His purpose! Amen, Lord, may Your will be done in our life. May Your will be done on the earth, even as it is done in the heavens! We stand with Your will today. May we see that God’s will is concentrated in Christ and is for Christ to have the first place in all things! Lord Jesus, we give You the first place in all things by faith! We give You the preeminence in all things. We want to enjoy You, experience You, and be one with You to build up the church as the Body of Christ. Amen, Lord, may You have a way to obtain the church as the Body of Christ for Your corporate expression on the earth! We are here for this, for Your will to be done and for Your kingdom to come! Amen!

Live with Christ in His Ascension and Maintain the Position of Ascension to Engage in Spiritual Warfare

And raised us up together with Him and seated us together with Him in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus. Eph. 2:6

In spiritual warfare the position is crucial; if we have the right position, we fight from victory and not for victory.

As we live with Christ in His ascension as a new creation in resurrection, we engage in spiritual warfare for the kingdom of God (S. S. 4:8; 6:4, 10; Eph. 2:6; 6:10-12).

In Song of Songs 4:7-8, we see how the Lord calls His loving seeker to live in ascension as a new creation in resurrection.

From here, from the high mountain, where Christ is in ascension, we can engage in spiritual warfare, for we stand in the Lord’s victory and apply His victory over the enemy.

Come with me from Lebanon, my bride; / With me from Lebanon come. / Look from the top of Amana, / From the top of Senir and Hermon, / From the lions' dens, / From the leopards' mountains. Song of Songs 4:8 You are as beautiful, my love, as Tirzah, / As lovely as Jerusalem, / As terrible as an army with banners. Song of Songs 6:4This doesn’t mean that we need to be physically on a high mountain to do this; rather, as we live in the human realm, taking care of the daily activities, we need to inwardly live in the divine and mystical realm and be in the position in ascension, one with the Lord.

God raised us up together with Christ and seated us together with Him in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus (Eph. 2:6). This is our position: in ascension, in the heavenlies.

We not only received salvation and have been raised from death but even more, we are now sitting with Christ in the heavens.

The only way we can deliver sinners out of Satan’s kingdom and cause the enemy to suffer loss is by living with Christ in ascension and maintaining the position of ascension.

This is by our growth in life unto maturity and our advancing in the experience of life until we know ascension.

We need to advance in our growth in life until we live in ascension with the Lord, until we reach maturity.

In ascension we look with Christ “from the lion’s dens, / From the leopards’ mountains” (S. S. 4:8). This means we are in the heavenlies, where Satan and his subordinates are.

Even though Christ has won the victory and destroyed the devil on the cross, he and his evil forces are still in the heavenlies. We, however, have our living in ascension, far above the evil powers (Eph. 3:10; 6:12).

May we ask the Lord to bring us on with Him until we reach the position of ascension and remain here, in our mingled spirit, one with the Lord, so that we may engage in spiritual warfare.

Here we fight with Satan and his power of darkness by being empowered in the Lord and in the might of His strength, and by putting on the whole armour of God (vv. 12;20); this is the reality of living in the ascension of Christ.

As we grow in life unto maturity and reach the stage of living in ascension, we stand one with the Lord and also one with the Body, for we realise that spiritual warfare is a Body matter.

We realise that, in order for us to engage in spiritual warfare, we must maintain the position of ascension. Spiritual warfare is based upon the position of ascension.

It is this position of ascension that causes us to be victorious in battle because only in the position of ascension can we have heavenly authority and pray with authority to deal with God’s enemy.

We may think that we are not that advanced in our growth in life now, for we are still not in ascension in our experience; however, even though we may not constantly live in ascension, we may instantly be there and remain there for a while as we turn to our spirit.

As we turn to our spirit and let Christ deal with anything that hinders His advancing in our being, we are in ascension.

We will then touch the Body and be in the Body, and we will live in the realm of ascension one with Christ, being able to chase out the power of darkness.

May we have more element of the heavens wrought into us and may we live in ascension with Christ, one with Him.

When we utterly reach the heavenly realm, our whole being, our work, and our actions are spiritual warfare. We will be able to chase out the power of darkness from every place to which we go and from the people whom we meet.

In order that now to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenlies the multifarious wisdom of God might be made known through the church. Eph. 3:10 For our wrestling is not against blood and flesh but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenlies. Eph. 6:12This will be a reality to us, for it is in the position of ascension that we can fight for the kingdom of God, recover the lost earth for God, and bring in the kingdom of God.

May we reach this position and maintain the position of ascension in our Christian life.

Spiritual warfare is based on the victory of Christ; through death, the Lord Jesus destroyed the devil, bringing him to nothing (Matt. 27:51-54; Heb. 2:14).

Now we stand one with Him in His victory, living with Christ in ascension, and we apply His victory to the enemy.

Our victory is not by our effort; we don’t overcome the enemy by anything of ourselves but by standing in the victory of Christ.

May we bring this matter to the Lord in prayer and may we grant Him the cooperation He needs today so that we may maintain the position of ascension and engage in spiritual warfare to bring in the kingdom of God.

Thank You, God, for raising us up together with Christ and seating us together with Him in the heavenlies in ascension! Hallelujah, we believers in Christ are now in ascension, one with the Lord in spirit! Amen, Lord, we want to live with Christ in His ascension as a new creation in resurrection today. May we remain in this position of ascension so that we may engage in spiritual warfare for the kingdom of God. Praise the Lord, Christ has gained the victory and has won the battle! Hallelujah, we are one with the Lord in spirit, living in ascension with Christ, and we apply the victory of Christ to the enemy! Amen, Lord, we stand one with You today to fight with Satan and his power of darkness. Empower us in the Lord and in the might of His strength. We put on the whole armour of God today and we maintain the position of ascension. Hallelujah, spiritual warfare is based on the victory of Christ! Praise the Lord, through His death, the Lord Jesus destroyed the devil, bringing him to nothing. We stand one with You today, Lord Jesus, and we apply Your victory over the enemy! Amen!
