We need to Rise up to Pray for a New Revival and Practice Living the Life of a God-man

My soul clings to the dust; Enliven me according to Your word. Psa. 119:25

We need to see what is the central revelation of God and of the Lord’s recovery, we need to pray for a new revival, and we need to practice living the life of a God-man to build up a corporate model which will be the greatest revival in the history of the church and which will bring the Lord back.

In all of God’s people, both in the Old and the New Testament, there is a yearning and prayer that they would be revived; Habakuk’s prayer in Hab. 3:2 is our prayer every day, for we want God to revive His work in the midst of the years.

Even though our soul may cling to the dust, even though sometimes we feel God is so far away and we’re here seeking for Him and desiring His presence, we still pray that He would enliven us according to His word (Psa. 119:25).

Our desire is to be revived, to be vitalized; all genuine seekers of God want to be vital and living in the divine life of God, and we want to live a life of revival.

The element of the revival is nothing else but the resurrected Christ; when we touch Him, when we come to Him and He infuses Himself into us, we are saturated with His element, and all our death is swallowed up in life, with the result that we live a vital life.

Such a revival needs to happen in a personal way; we need to personally come to the Lord be made vital and living with Him.

What the Lord is after is not a repeat of the Pentecost; the Holy Spirit has already been outpoured, we are both baptised in the Spirit and clothed with the Spirit, and we simply need to experience what we already have.

How can we enter into such a new revival, even the final revival, the revival that will end this age and will bring the Lord back?

There are three main elements or three main ways that we can practically enter into this revival.

First, we need to arrive at the high peak of the divine revelation; we need to live in the revelation of God’s eternal economy, realizing that God became man to make man God in His life and nature so that He may gain a corporate expression of Himself in humanity consummating in the New Jerusalem.

Our daily life needs to be governed by the vision of God’s eternal economy; we need to see God’s economy, be governed by God’s economy, be directed and controlled by the vision of God’s economy, and do everything in and according to the economy of God, seeking to have more of God wrought into us for the building up of the Body of Christ consummating in the New Jerusalem.

Furthermore, for us to enter into a new revival we need to live the life of a God-man; we are God-men, and we need to live a God-man life, even have a corporate God-man living, so that God would be manifested in the flesh in a practical way.

Finally, we need to be vitalized and shepherd others according to God, cherishing and nourishing them in the humanity and divinity of Christ to bring them into the flock of God and make them part of the Body of Christ to consummate the New Jerusalem.

Living in the Central Revelation of God and Rising up to Pray for a New Revival today

The central revelation of God and of the Lord’s recovery is God becoming the flesh (John 1:1, 14), the flesh becoming the life-giving Spirit (1 Cor. 15:45b), and the life-giving Spirit becoming the sevenfold intensified Spirit (Rev. 1:4; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6) to build up the church (Matt. 16:18) that becomes the Body of Christ (Eph. 4:15-16) and that consummates the New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:2, 9; 22:17a; cf. Gen. 2:22; John 19:34). 2021 spring ITERO, outline 1For us to live a life according to the highest peak of God’s economy and thus enter into a new revival, we need to have a clear view of the central God.

We need to see and realize that the Triune God became flesh – He didn’t just become man, but He became flesh, and as the flesh, He became a life-giving Spirit.

Furthermore, the life-giving Spirit was intensified sevenfold to counteract the degradation of the church and produce the overcomers, and now the Spirit is the sevenfold intensified Spirit.

This Spirit is to build up the church, which becomes the Body of Christ consummating in the New Jerusalem; the New Jerusalem is the final goal of God’s economy.

These are critical points of the central revelation of God and of the Lord’s recovery; we need to know these, pray over these, and live in the light of the revelation of God’s economy day by day.

These critical points are concerning the Spirit of God in the move of God’s eternal economy.

The highest peak of the divine revelation – the highest peak of what the Lord is speaking of in the whole Bible – issues in the New Jerusalem, God and man being mingled together to be one entity, the mingling of divinity with humanity (Rev. 21:3, 22, 2, 9; cf. Lev. 2:4-5; Psa. 92:10).

This is the conclusion of the entire Bible – the New Jerusalem as a corporate entity, the mingling of God and man.

May this become a governing and controlling vision to us so that our daily living would be with the mingling of God and man in view.

May we daily open to and allow the Spirit who has been intensified sevenfold to work in us.

May we not be held back by our old theologies and interpretation of the Bible; may we be up-to-date with the Lord and live in His present recovery.

May we be on the same page with the Lord concerning what He is doing today, and may we bring this to the Lord in prayer.

All the saints in all the local churches need to bring these matters to the Lord in prayer, rising up to pray for a new revival.

Especially the elders and the co-workers, and all those whose spirit the Lord has stirred up, need to rise up to pray that the Lord would give us a new revival – a revival which has never been recorded in history.

And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us... John 1:14 ...the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit. 1 Cor. 15:45 ...the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Rev. 5:6

We shouldn’t entertain the idea that this is a “dream” that can never happen in our lifetime; rather, we should pray this to the Lord, for all things that are impossible or too wonderful with man are possible with God.

It is good for us to be filled with aspiration and hope so that we may rise up and cooperate with the Lord to pray, even in a daily way, that the Lord would give us a new revival.

Our unique message is the highest peak of the divine revelation, and our unique burden is to see the mingling of divinity with humanity until God gains a building, a miraculous structure of treasure, the New Jerusalem.

May we give ourselves to the Lord to be mingled more with Him, and may we allow Him to work Himself into us in all the big and little things of our daily life. And may we rise up to pray for the Lord to give us a new revival, a revival that will end this age and bring Him back.

May we be saved from merely going through some practices and doing some formalities according to what we see and understand in the Word of God; may we live in the light of God’s economy and be filled with Christ day by day.

May we open to the Lord and ask Him to work in us according to His economy so that He may make us the same as He is in life and nature.

We need to have a turn from anything that is different from the central line of God’s economy back to the highest peak of the divine revelation, and we need to be busy not merely with outward things or scriptural practices but with opening to the Lord for Him to carry out His economy in us and with us.

Lord Jesus, grant us to have a genuine, real revival in the church life. May our daily life be governed by the vision of Your economy so that we may be in the mingling of God with man in all the things of our daily living. Hallelujah, God became flesh, the flesh became a life-giving Spirit, and the life-giving Spirit was intensified sevenfold to build up the church as the Body of Christ consummating in the New Jerusalem! Amen, Lord, we want to live in the light of this highest peak of the divine revelation. May we see the central revelation of God and may we all rise up to pray that You may give us a new revival! Amen, Lord, give us a revival that has never been recorded in history, a revival that will consummate this age and will bring in the age of the kingdom!

Practice Living the Life of a God-man to build up a Model of Living in the Economy of God which will be the Greatest Revival in History!

The urgent need today is the practice of a kind of living that belongs to God-men, and the God-men are the very components of God’s economy. All the elders and co-workers should pursue this reality so that they will be made into a model by the Lord, a model living in the economy of God. Then they and their churches will become such a model. In my prayer, this is what I call the genuine revival. CWWL, 1994-1997, vol. 1, “Living a Life according to the High Peak of God’s Revelation,” p. 198When we live a life in the light of the highest peak of God’s economy and pray for the Lord to bring us into a new revival, we will realize that we are not just men but God-men – we are men born of God, God-men who should live a God-man life like the Lord Jesus did.

Our seeing and living in the light of the central line of the divine revelation will cause us to live the life of a God-man.

If we practice living the life of a God-man, spontaneously a corporate model will be built up, a model living in the economy of God.

This model of living a God-man life will be the greatest revival in the history of the church to bring the Lord back (see Psa. 48:2 and footnote 1; Rev. 3:12, 21).

This is our urgent need today: we need to practice to live the life of a God-man; we are God-men, and we need to live the life of a God-man on earth for the Lord to be manifested in man.

May we pursue this reality so that the Lord may build up a model of living in the economy of God.

Our need is not only to know the economy of God and be constituted with the truth but also practice to have a living that belongs to God-men; in the light of God’s economy, we need to live a God-man life to build up a model of living in the economy of God.

Such a model, such a corporate living of a God-man, is the greatest revival in history, and it will bring the Lord back.

We need to build up such a model in the Lord’s recovery; every church – whether large or small – needs to be a model of living the life of a God-man.

The model living of a God-man will be the greatest revival, for God will be manifested in the flesh (1 Tim. 3:15).

The Lord put us in the local churches where we are, and we need to raise up a model church life wherever we are, a model of saints in the church life just living the God-man life.

He who overcomes, him I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall by no means go out anymore, and I will write upon him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which descends out of heaven from My God, and My new name. Rev. 3:12 He who overcomes, to him I will give to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne. Rev. 3:21When this model is with us, there will be revival. We long for such a revival.

We pray for such a model of God-man living to be built up not only in two or three local churches but in all the local churches on earth.

This requires both our seeing and our prayer, and it also requires our practice.

We need not only to pray and thus be mingled with God and His desire; we also need to practice living the life of a God-man in our daily life.

We have to admit that we are not all successful, for we are still full of failure in terms of really living the life of a God-man, but we exercise ourselves and we practice this as much as we can.

We want to cooperate with the Lord to live the life of a God-man so that a model would be built up, a model of living in the economy of God to express God.

If we all take the lead to pursue the reality of living a God-man life, we will be made into a model by the Lord, a model living in the economy of God.

Then our local churches will become such a model, and this will bring in a new revival, a genuine revival, that will bring the Lord back.

Lord Jesus, we give ourselves to You to practice living the life of a God-man. We want to live in the reality of the Body of Christ by living a God-man life in our daily life. May our living be one that belongs to God-men. May all the saints practice living the life of a God-man so that a corporate model living in the economy of God would be built up. Amen, Lord, gain the corporate God-man living, which will be the greatest revival in the history of the church, the revival that will bring You back. May we all practice this. May we not look at our failure in living the life of a God-man but practice to live such a life to cooperate with the Lord today! Amen, Lord, do it in us. Gain the corporate God-man living, the model of living the life of a God-man on earth today!
