God has Called us into the Fellowship of His Son, the Participation in Christ

January 30, 2018 by aGodMan 7 Comments

2 Cor. 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Fellowship is the reality of the church life, for God has called us into the fellowship of His Son – He called us into the participation in Christ, the all-inclusive One. Our God is faithful – He called us into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord (1 Cor. 1:9). This fellowship is […]

offering up a sacrifice of praise to God through Christ and with Christ

What does it mean to praise the Lord? Does it mean to simply say it? Does it mean that only in the meetings of the church we raise our voices and we say, Praise God? This morning I was encouraged to see further than to worship God and to praise God means to simply present […]

Enjoying Christ as our Provision, as seen in the book of Exodus (SA students camp summer 2011)

… once we are in the wilderness what should we do? We should not start complaining but rather tell the Lord: “Lord, You are the One that led me here. Lord, I am thirsty. Give me a drink!” Some of us have been in the church life for quite a while and our experience of the Lord is just not rich anymore and we do not understand. We have been eating all these years but not drinking enough! We need to drink! [continue reading this sweet sharing from a student in South Africa from his top enjoyment in a recent student camp]

This is a secret we all discover as we go on with the Lord in the proper church life – all we need to do is come to the church meetings and praise the Lord! Satan bothers us, situations may be overwhelming, people may have problems with us, we may have a lot of things we didn’t do quite right, or there’s a lot of accusations inside… whatever happens, don’t miss the meeting of the church!

enjoying and ministering Christ as the sin-dealing life to bear away the inquity of God’s people

October 11, 2011 by aGodMan 1 Comment

It is only after we enjoy Christ as the sin-dealing life that we can also minister Him as such to others. In Leviticus the priests were to eat the sin offering in the holy place that they may make expiation for the people of Israel before Jehovah(Lev. 10:17). As we enjoy Christ as the sin-dealing life, we have an enlarged capacity to bear away the iniquity of God’s people – by learning to minister Christ to the dear saints who are in sin

a turn from keeping the law and being good Christians to enjoying Christ and living Christ(Psa. 1-16)

September 10, 2011 by aGodMan 4 Comments

In the Psalms we see the path, the struggles, and the expression of the human sentiments of some of God’s loving seekers. Godly men like David, Asaph, the sons or Korah, Moses, etc – they sought after God, pursued the knowledge of God, and wanted to experience and know God. But many times they said […]
