Being Diligent to Labor on Christ, Seeking Christ and Enjoying Him in every Situation

August 28, 2023 by aGodMan 10 Comments

Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you for a share of the allotted portion of the saints in the light. Col. 1:12

We need to be diligent to labor on Christ, seeking Christ and enjoying Him in every situation. As those who have entered into Christ as the reality of the good land, we need to live a life of laboring on Christ; we need to labor on Christ day by day by enjoying and experiencing […]

To Labor on Christ is to Exercise our Spirit in our daily life to Experience Christ

If we do not labor on Christ and live by Christ, we will have nothing of Christ in our hand. Even if we understand how to exercise our spirit, we may have the technique but not the material. When we come to the meeting, our spirit may be positive, active, living, on the alert, and ready to exercise, but we may be poor and empty-handed, not having anything of Christ to minister. If this is so, we are worshipping in spirit but not in reality; we are in Jerusalem, but we do not have a surplus in our hands. Therefore, the church life depends on our daily exercise of the spirit and also on our daily walk in Christ. We have to labor on Christ, walk in Christ, live by Christ, and have many experiences of Christ. Then we will be rich in Christ and with Christ. When we come to the meeting, we will know how to exercise our spirit, and we will have much surplus of Christ. Serving in the Meetings and in the Gospel, Chapter 1, by Witness Lee

We labor on Christ by exercising our spirit to contact the Lord and being one with Him in every situation; the way to labor on Christ is to exercise our spirit to experience Christ in all situations and circumstances so that we gain more of Christ day by day. When we thus labor on Christ […]

Labor on Christ by Consecrating ourselves to Enjoy Him and Maintaining our Fellowship with Him

I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing. John 15:5

In order for us to have a surplus of Christ to bring to the meetings of the church for the building up of the church, we need to labor on Christ and gain a harvest of Christ, a rich produce of Christ, by consecrating ourselves to enjoy the Lord and maintaining our fellowship with Him […]

We need to Diligently Labor on the All-inclusive Christ to Enjoy His Riches and Gain Him

But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom to us from God: both righteousness and sanctification and redemption. 1 Cor. 1:30

Our need as believers in Christ is to labor on the all-inclusive Christ to have something of Him that we gain, experience, enjoy, and are constituted with so that there would be a surplus to bring to the church meetings for the worship of God our Father in a corporate way. This week we come […]
