We need to Magnify Christ in our Body by Living Christ to make Him Great

August 15, 2023 by aGodMan 12 Comments

...in nothing I will be put to shame, but with all boldness, as always, even now Christ will be magnified in my body... Phil. 1:20

Like the apostle Paul, we need to magnify Christ in our body, whether through life or through death; we need to enlarge Christ, and make Him great in the sight of others, by experiencing with the top enjoyment and through our living. The pattern of Paul is so vivid both in his writings and […]

We Live Christ for His Magnification by the Bountiful Supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ

For you have been bought with a price. So then glorify God in your body. 1 Cor. 6:20

As believers in Christ, we live in the Divine Trinity by living Christ for His magnification by the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ; we need to live Christ and magnify Christ by this bountiful supply day by day. Amen! Before we can live Christ for His magnification, however, we need the […]

Seeing the Pattern of the Apostle Paul as one who Lived Christ for His Magnification

Apparently the apostle, as a prisoner in bonds, had entered the area of the dark capital of the Satan-usurped empire. Actually, as the ambassador of Christ with His authority (Eph. 6:20; Matt. 28:18-19), he had come into another part of the participation in His church’s Body life in the kingdom of God on earth. While he was suffering the persecution of religion in the empire of Satan, he was enjoying the church life in the kingdom of God, which was a comfort and an encouragement to him. Witness Lee

What we see in the book of Acts is not only a record of what the apostles and disciples did after the Lord left but the continuation of Christ, Jesus living again in the many members of His Body for His corporate expression. Today we are in “Acts chapter 29”, in one of the many […]

in nothing I will be put to shame, but in all things Christ will be magnified in my body!

This is what Paul says in Philippians 1:20, According to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I will be put to shame, but with all boldness, as always, even now Christ will be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death. This morning we were also enjoying two verses in Isaiah […]

just as in Paul’s case, it should matter to the church whether we live or die

December 19, 2009 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Paul was a normal Christian: one who lived Christ, magnified Christ, ministered Christ, and infused Christ into others. Whether he was travelling and preaching the gospel/strengthening the saints/the churches, or whether he was in prison: he simply magnified the Lord Jesus Christ (Phil. 1:20)! In all he did/said the others saw Christ living in him […]
