Being today’s Zion, the Overcomers in the Church who Live in the Reality of the Body

December 5, 2022 by aGodMan 15 Comments

Beautiful in elevation, / The joy of the whole earth, / Is Mount Zion, the sides of the north, / The city of the great King. Psa. 48:2

Zion was the city of David, the centre of the city of Jerusalem, where the temple as God’s dwelling place was built; the overcomers as Zion are the reality of the Body of Christ and consummate the building up of the Body in the local churches – within the church life today there must […]

Being Absolutely Open to the Lord and Persevering in Prayer to be His Overcomers today

April 5, 2022 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Persevere in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving. Col. 4:2

The only way for us to reach the high peak of God’s eternal economy – the reality of the Body of Christ – is by praying; we need to pray and open widely to the Lord for Him to come in to use us as a stepping stone, a beachhead, for His ultimate move […]

God writes the Name of God, of the New Jerusalem, and His New Name on the Overcomers

July 24, 2021 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

He who overcomes...I will write upon him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which descends out of heaven from My God, and My new name. Rev. 3:12

The Lord is writing the name of God, the name of the city of New Jerusalem, and His new name on the overcomer, showing that the overcomers belong to God and even become God in life and nature, in a new way, for God to be expressed through the overcomers as the New Jerusalem. Hallelujah! […]

Being the Holy Priests who are Possessed by God and who Live Christ to Light the Lamps

April 19, 2019 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Rev. 1:6 And made us a kingdom, priests to His God and Father, to Him be the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen.

The holy task of lighting the lamps in the Holy Place was the service of holy persons, the priests, those saturated with God, filled with God, and living absolutely for God; these ones express God in their daily living and minister God to others. Lighting the lamps is a holy task belonging only to the […]

Being Saturated and Possessed by God to Light the Lamps in the Meetings of the Church

October 11, 2016 by aGodMan 7 Comments

The one who lights the lamps is a person who is possessed by God, who is saturated with God, and who lives absolutely for God. Whatever such a person says and does in the sanctuary of God is the lighting of the lamps; all his actions are the lighting of the lamps. When the holy priests speak in the church meetings, the light ascends, and the sanctuary is full of light (Exo. 27:20; 1 Cor. 14:19; Matt. 5:14-16; Mark 4:21). Witness Lee

As believers in Christ, we are holy priests lighting the holy lamps in the holy place, the meetings of the church. Hallelujah, our God is light, and in Him there’s no darkness at all, and we are children of light who are daily learning to walk in the light. The nature of God’s expression – […]

We Need to be Holy Persons Filled with God to Light the Holy Lamps in the Holy Place

June 23, 2015 by aGodMan 2 Comments

Matt. 5:15-16 Nor do men light a lamp and place it under the bushel, but on the lampstand; and it shines to all who are in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in the heavens.

One of the functions of the priests in the Old Testament was the lighting of the lamps in the Holy Place; God ordained that the light has to be on all day and throughout the night, and it was the priests’ responsibility to make sure this happens. The details of this picture are quite interesting, […]

A Priest is one who Serves God, Lives to God, is Filled with God, and Flows God out

June 8, 2015 by aGodMan 1 Comment

Exo. 19:6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words that you shall speak to the children of Israel.

Both in the Old and in the New Testament we clearly see that God’s desire is that all His people would be priests to God (Exo. 19:6; 1 Pet. 2:9). The only way we can become this kind of men that the Lord needs is by allowing Christ Himself – the One who lives in […]
