The Significance of the Stone, the Pillar, the House of God, and the Oil in Gen. 28

The dream that Jacob had in Genesis 28 is the most crucial point in the whole book of Genesis and the most crucial word in the revelation of God. Jacob, a supplanter who ran away from his parents house for fear of his brother whose birthright and firstborn blessing he stole, was wandering in the […]

Jacob’s Dream at Bethel was a Dream of God’s Goal, the Dream of the House of God

In our Holy Word for Morning Revival, we are now getting into a Crystallization-Study of Genesis (the third part), focusing mainly on the lives of Jacob and Joseph. Jacob was chosen by God even from his mother’s womb, but even though he knew this, he still struggled, cheated, and did things to steal the birthright […]

A High View of the Church as the Father’s House, the Divine-Human Incorporation

The church is the house of God, the household of God, and as such the church is the Father’s house. The Lord Jesus was zealous for the Father’s house (see John 2:16-21) and He spoke at length in John 14 concerning the many abodes in the Father’s house. Contrary to the traditional and religious understanding […]

The New Jerusalem is the Eternal Bethel, the Fulfillment of God’s Dream

the picture of the tabernacle shows us that God is enterable: we can enter into God!

Before Christ came, God could only dwell among men, but after the process Christ passed through, by receiving Christ and experiencing Him as all the furnishing of the tabernacle, we can enter into God! The way we enter into God is by having all our problems solved (at the bronze altar) and by being washed to become the new creation (at the laver) – these qualify us to enter into the incarnated God (signified by the tabernacle). We enter further into God by enjoying Christ as our daily supply (at the showbread table), the light of life (at the lampstand), and at the incense altar being accepted by God and having intimate fellowship with God!
