We should Offer a Sacrifice of Praise to God even when we Suffer and are Afflicted

August 31, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Heb. 13:15 Through Him then let us offer up a sacrifice of praise continually to God, that is, the fruit of lips confessing His name.

The nature of praise is an offering – we need to offer a sacrifice of praise, even from our suffering, pain, and loss; when we praise the Lord in every situation, we display Christ’s victory and we overcome spiritual attacks. When the Bible speaks of praise, it says that we need to offer up through […]

Praising the Lord Enthrones and Exalts Him and makes us Soar in our Christian life

Psa. 22:3 But You are holy, You who sit enthroned upon the praises of Israel.

Praise is the highest work carried out by God’s children and the highest expression of our spiritual life; praising the Lord is the way to soar in our Christian life. We have been enjoying the matter of the prayer of the church as the Body of Christ, and now we come to the matter of […]

Being the Overcomers of Today, the Weak ones Depending on the Lord to be His Armies

August 18, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Rev. 3:8 I know your works; behold, I have put before you an opened door which no one can shut, because you have a little power and have kept My word and have not denied My name.

As we become mature in the divine life, we become the duplication of Christ to match Him for our marriage, and we as the weak ones depending on the Lord to be His overcomers – even His armies. In Song of Songs toward the end we see how the lover of Christ becomes the Shulammite, […]

Becoming a Garden for Christ’s Private Enjoyment and as Terrible as an Army with Banners

August 15, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Through her living in Christ’s ascension as the new creation in resurrection, Christ’s transformed bride becomes a garden for Christ’s private enjoyment (Song of Songs 4:12-16).

As we progress in the divine romance, we as the lover of Christ become as beautiful as Tirzah, as lovely as Jerusalem, and as terrible as an army with banners (Song of Songs 6:4, 10). It seems that love and war are opposite, and it is true, but in the spiritual realm, if we love […]

Offering Ourselves Willingly to the Lord in the Day of His Warfare to Bring in His Kingdom

August 4, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

The Lord wants us to pray, “Our Father who is in the heavens, Your name be sanctified; Your kingdom come; Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth” (Matt. 6:9-10). If the coming of the kingdom of God was automatic, the Lord would never have taught us to pray in this way. But since the Lord asked us to pray in this way, He simply showed us that this is the work of the church. Yes, the church should preach the gospel, but much more, the church should pray to bring in the kingdom of God. Some people think that whether or not we pray, the kingdom of God will come automatically. But if we know God, we will never say this. The principle of God’s work is to wait for His people to move. Then He will move. Watchman Nee, The Glorious Church, pp. 61-63

If we see that we are in the day of Christ’s warfare, we will offer ourselves willingly to the Lord for His purpose, being a voluntary offering to Him to be part of the new man as the corporate warrior to deal with God’s enemy and bring His kingdom in. The Lord is not after […]

The Purpose of Spiritual Warfare is to Bring in the Kingdom of God on the Earth

August 3, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Rev. 11:15 ...And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.

Because Satan and his kingdom is against God and His purpose, there is a need for spiritual warfare in this universe; the purpose of spiritual warfare is to bring in the kingdom of God. Throughout the ages since the creation of Adam there has been a spiritual struggle between the kingdom of God and the […]

The Church as the New Man is Dealing with Satan to Fulfill God’s Eternal Purpose

July 31, 2018 by aGodMan Leave a Comment

Eph. 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the stratagems of the devil.

The church as the new man fulfills God’s eternal purpose to express God and represent Him; dealing with Satan is for the benefit of God and satisfies God’s need. The first man, Adam, who was created in the image of God and according to His likeness, has failed God – he failed to express God […]
