God’s reality becomes our human reality through our enjoyment and experience of Him as the True One

November 25, 2011 by aGodMan 1 Comment

God's reality becomes our human reality through our enjoyment and experience of Him as the True One [picture source: Sun shining over the fields]The verse in 1 John 5:20 is very mysterious and very encouraging at the same time, saying, “And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we might know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life”.

Here it doesn’t say that we are in Christ or in God, but in the True One, and we can know Him who is True, and, This is the True God! This is a very particular and subjective way of speaking about God – He is the True One!

The True One – God becoming subjective to us

Is God only the Creator to you? Is He only your Savior? If God is merely the objective God, yes, He is your God, but He is not that subjective or related to you. But in 1 John 5:20 we see that God is the True One because we experience Him subjectively.

The Creator and the Mighty God has come through incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection, and He as the Spirit of reality has given to us an understanding to know Him as the True One. He must become true to us subjectively to us in our experience.

To know the True One is to know the divine reality – in Greek, “the true” is alethinos, and “reality” is aletheia, coming from the same root word. The divine reality, which is God Himself, has become our subjective reality.

The Son of God has given us an understanding so that we the believers may know – that is, we may experience, enjoy, and possess – the divine reality!

How do we know the True One? We know Him by experiencing, enjoying, and possessing this divine reality!

The divine reality becomes our subjective reality

Through our knowing God as the True One, this One who is True and Real is becoming real to us, and He becomes even our subjective reality.

We are not real and true in ourselves, but we can enjoy, experience, and possess the divine reality so that the True One may become our human reality. The divine reality is the Triune God Himself known by us, understood by us, and received by us; He is being wrought into us to become our human reality.

The Apostle Paul said that, the truthfulness of Christ is in me (2 Cor. 11:10) / the faithfulness of Christ is in me. To Christ, truthfulness refers to His attributes as part of Him being the True One.

But today we can experience Him and He becomes our human reality – the truthfulness of God as His attributes become our truthfulness and reality as our human virtue!

We enjoy God as the True One by being IN HIM – we are in the True One and we enjoy, possess, and experience Him as the True, with the result that His reality is becoming our human reality.

Worshipping God in spirit and truthfulness

In John 4:24 we see that God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truthfulness. The place where we worship God today is our human spirit, just as the place where the people of Israel worshipped God was the temple.

God chose our human spirit mingled with the divine spirit to be the place of worship. But what about the truthfulness? This is the divine reality becoming our human reality through us enjoying, experiencing, and possessing God as the True One.

Let us come to the place ordained by God – our human spirit – and with the offerings God desires – the reality of Christ becoming our human reality – to worship God the way He longs to! God is seeking such to worship Him today.

We need to daily labor on Christ to know Him as the True One, to be in the True One, and in this organic union His reality becomes our reality, and His truthfulness becomes ours. We become the very reproduction of God Himself – Christ living in us and being reproduced in us!

[sharing inspired from the life-study of 1 John and the speaking in the message, as quoted in the Holy Word for Morning Revival on, The Four Great Pillars in the Lord’s Recovery. ]

Thank You Lord we can enjoy and experience You as the True One! You are the Reality, the True One, the only One that is real! Lord, work Yourself into us and make us real by our enjoyment and experience of You! May Your divine reality become our human reality day by day. We want to know You subjectively to such an extent that we can worship You in spirit and truthfulness! Make us the worshippers You desire to have!

Jesus Christ is our saviour and he is also the son of God I wonder if that means he is as God is or is he as a demiGod either case he was and is the creators son so if this is true we are also in Gods image and the brothers and sisters of Christ which makes us either demiGods or as christ is children of the true God either case we should'nt put ourselves above God or Jesus Christ as he alone Died for the sins of mankind we have yet to experience the deaths of ourselves and should we also give our lives for the sake of mankind all Im saying is are we on the right paths towards our redemption or because we are classed as sinners do we have any right to proclaim ourselves as anything other than Human beings are we really on the true paths.
