The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross to satisfy the requirements of God’s righteousnss, holines, and glory, and He was resurrected to become the life dispensing Spirit as the reality of the tree of life to be our righteousness, holiness, and glory; now the life of the Triune God dispensed into our tripartite being makes us men of life and members of His Body for His expression.

If we read the Bible, we will be impressed by one particular thing: God doesn’t want some people who merely serve Him and do something for Him but He wants to gain open vessels, those who are open to His divine dispensing as life.
This is God’s eternal economy: to dispense Himself into us as life so that all that He is would be constituted into our being to make us God-men expressing God corporately. Praise the Lord!
As human beings, we were not made to merely do things for God but, as we see in Genesis 1-2, we are made as living vessels to receive and contain the life of God.
Adam, however, was deceived by the enemy and ate of the wrong tree; God had to close the way to the tree of life so that man would not eat of the tree of life and live forever in his fallen state, but later God came in as life to be dispensed into man.
It is such a wonderful thing for us to know that we were created in the image of God to be a living vessel to receive and contain God as life for the reproduction of God in life! When we see this, we will simply open our vessel to the Lord.
We will exercise our spirit to contact God as the life-giving Spirit to be filled with His life.
We will set our mind on our spirit so that His divine life will spread from our spirit into every part of our inner being – mind, emotion, and will.
And we will be full of joy and hope, for one day God will dispense His life by His Spirit even into our mortal bodies to fill them up with His life! Praise the Lord!
Christ Died to Satisfy God’s Requirements and was Resurrected to become the Life-dispensing Spirit as the Reality of the Tree of life to be our Righteousness, Holiness, and Glory!
There are three wonderful portions in God’s word that reveal something amazing to us related to God’s economy. If we read Genesis 3:24, 1 Corinthians 1:30, and Ephesians 5:25-27, being open to the Lord for His inner shining, we will see something great.
Christ died on the cross to satisfy the requirements of God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory, and He was resurrected to become the life-dispensing Spirit as the reality of the tree of life to be our righteousness, holiness, and glory. Wow!
In Genesis we are told that, after man fell, God came in to close the way to the tree of life; He placed a cherubim with a flaming sword turning in every direction to guard the way to the tree of life.
God’s original intention is for man to eat Him as the tree of life, digest Him, and assimilate Him so that man may live because of God in Christ as the Spirit who gives life.
The Triune God wants to be life to us. However, man fell, and because of the fall, God closed the way to the tree of life. If man had partaken of the tree of life in his fallen state, he would have lived forever with a fallen condition.
So God set a cherubim, signifying God’s glory, and a sword, signifying God’s righteousness, that is flaming, signifying God’s holiness.
The requirements of God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory blocked the way to the tree of life.
However, Christ came and fulfilled all these requirements, and He resurrected to become the life-giving Spirit as the reality of the tree of life to be our righteousness, holiness, and glory.
The very attributes that prevented fallen man from eating God as the tree of life are now enjoyed in Christ and are becoming what we are, being expressed through us.
1 Corinthians 1:30 tells us that it is of God that we are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom to us from God, both righteousness and sanctification, and redemption.
Christ became wisdom from God to us – there is a transmission of Himself as righteousness, holiness, and glory into our being.
Righteousness is for our past, for us to be justified by God and receive His divine life. Sanctification is for our present, for us to be sanctified and transformed in our soul. And redemption is for our future, which is the redemption of our body, the transfiguration of our body with God’s life, for us to have His glorious likeness.
Furthermore, as we see in Ephesians 5:25-27, we have righteousness in verse 25, holiness in verse 26, and glory in verse 27.
Christ not only accomplished judicial redemption for us so that He is our righteousness but even more, He is sanctifying the church, cleansing her by the washing of the water in the word to make her holy, that is, for Christ to become our holiness.
Christ is sanctifying us, cleansing us by the washing of the water in the present, instant, spoken, applicable word of God, to make us holy, righteous, and glorious to match Him as His bride, His wife.
He wants to marry the church who is the same as He is, glorious, not having any spots or wrinkles or any such things. This is why we need to treasure the Lord’s speaking, especially in our time with Him in the morning.
We want to have an open ear to hear His voice. We ask the Lord in love to speak to us and cleanse us by the washing of the water in the Word.
His washing cleanses us, adds the element of God to our being, and even beautifies us and glorifies us! Praise the Lord!
May we open to the Lord’s washing us and sanctifying us so that He as the life-dispensing Spirit would dispense Himself as the tree of life into us to be our righteousness, holiness, and glory!
Lord Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross to satisfy the requirements of God’s righteousness, holiness, and glory. Hallelujah, even though the requirements of righteousness, holiness, and glory closed the way to the tree of life, Christ came and met all of God’s requirements! We praise You, Lord Jesus, for Your death for us on the cross! Thank You for Your judicial redemption which opened the way for us to enjoy and participate in Your organic salvation! Hallelujah, Christ resurrected to become the life-dispensing Spirit as the reality of the tree of life! Amen, Lord, we eat You as the tree of life, based on Your judicial redemption, so that You may become our righteousness, holiness, and glory! Sanctify us more by Your word. May there be the washing of the water in the Word going on in us so that we may be cleansed, washed, reconstituted, sanctified, beautified, and glorified to be Your glorious church, Your bride! Amen, Lord, we love You! Make us the same as You are!
The Life of the Triune God Dispensed into us Makes us Men of Life to be God’s Sons and Members of Christ for His Corporate Expression
In order for God to carry out His economy, He went through a process; He was incarnated, passed through human living, died on the cross, and was resurrected. Now we can receive God in Christ as the Spirit of life in our spirit.
The life of the Triune God dispensed into our tripartite being makes us men of life to be God’s sons and the members of Christ to constitute the Body of Christ for His expression, thus fulfilling God’s original intention (Gen. 2:7, 9; Rom. 8:14; 12:5). This is so wonderful!
In the book of Romans, we see first the matter of condemnation, then justification, sanctification, and glorification. As God deals with us, He always takes care of three of His divine attributes: righteousness, holiness, and glory.
Righteousness is related to what God does, His ways, His actions, and His activities. Holiness is God’s nature, what He is by nature. Glory is God’s expression; God expressed.
Three of the sections in Romans – justification, sanctification, and glorification – were composed according to these three attributes of God, righteousness, holiness, and glory.
In the first stage of God’s salvation, the stage of justification, we participate in the righteousness of God.
In the second stage, we are in the process of sanctification, a process by which He works His divine nature in us. We are not just justified outwardly but we have God’s holiness, His very nature, wrought into us inwardly.
The third stage is glorification, which is expressing God in His image and according to His likeness.
The divine life has gone through a long process – Christ as life was incarnated, bringing divinity into humanity, and then He lived a perfect human life, died an all-terminating death on the cross, and resurrected from the dead.
All these processes with their effectiveness, are included in the Spirit of life which today is with our spirit. Before God was processed, He could do many things, but He was not able to get into man; He had to complete the process in order to enter into man.
Now Christ is processed; He is like the air we breathe, and He comes to us to breathe Himself into us (John 20:22). Since Christ as the life-giving Spirit is in us, our spirit is life because of righteousness (Rom. 8:10).
Our spirit is life by regeneration, for the Spirit of life is in our spirit. As we set our mind on our spirit, the Spirit of life spreads from our spirit into our mind, emotion, and will.
Eventually, He will even expand and spread into our mortal body, saturating us with Himself. Hallelujah! Our whole being as believers in Christ will be fully permeated, sanctified with the holy life and nature of God.
We are today in this stage, the second stage of God’s salvation, having God wrought into us. There is a law of the Spirit of life, an automatic principle, a spontaneous power of the divine life.
This law works automatically; when you let a book go from your hand, it will 100% of the time fall on the ground, for the law of gravity works all the time.
Christ as the law of the Spirit of life is installed in our spirit. When we are in the law of the Spirit of life, we are outside of the realm of the gravitational pull of the law of sin and of death!
Praise the Lord, we are outside of this realm – we are now in the realm of the law of the Spirit of life, the divine and mystical realm!
As seen in Romans 8:10, if Christ is in us, though the body is dead because of sin, the spirit is life because of righteousness. Our spirit is life. We should never graduate from enjoying this.
When we call on the name of the Lord, the divine life of God, the zoe life, gets into our spirit. Now our spirit is life. Knowing that our spirit is life is a great help to us in our daily living.
We can turn to our spirit to enjoy God in Christ as the Spirit of life, even as the law of the Spirit of life, installed in our spirit. When we call on the Lord, we are enabled to resist temptations! Praise the Lord!
When we set our mind on our spirit, our mind also becomes life, for the divine life spreads from our spirit into our mind.
Finally, in the third stage, the Spirit of the One who raised Jesus from the dead will give life to our mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells us (Rom. 8:11).
In the stage of glorification, we will be raptured and glorified; this is the redemption of our body. Our vile body will be transfigured to be a glorious body, transfigured into the body of Christ’s glory (Phil. 3:21).
Hallelujah, in the first stage of God’s salvation, God takes care of our spirit! In the second stage, the stage of sanctification, He takes care of our soul, with a slight amount of saturation in our body. In the third stage, glorification, He will take care of our body to glorify it! Hallelujah!
In verse 10 of Romans 8, Paul says that, if Christ is in us, our spirit is life because of righteousness; this means that, in God’s justification, we have gained righteousness.
We need to further cooperate with the indwelling Christ by setting our mind on the spirit, enabling the Spirit of life to saturate our mind with Himself, and then our mind will be life! If we continue to cooperate with Him, even our body will be made life, and we will be brought into His glory! Praise the Lord!
Lord Jesus, thank You for coming into our spirit as life to make our spirit life. Hallelujah, our spirit is life because of righteousness! Praise the Lord, we are justified by God, we have peace toward God, and we can come to God as we are to enjoy God and partake of His riches! Amen, Lord, we want to cooperate with the indwelling Christ by setting our mind upon the spirit! May the Spirit of life mingled with our spirit be able to spread into our mind to saturate our mind with God as life! Lord Jesus, we choose to set our mind on the spirit so that our mind may be life! Keep us cooperating with You day by day, even moment by moment, so that Your life may spread even in our mortal body to make our body life! Praise the Lord, one day God will bring our vile, mortal body into transfiguration to make us the same as His glorious body! Amen, Lord, work Yourself into us as righteousness, holiness, and glory so that we may be justified by Your righteousness, infused with Your holiness, to express Your glory! Amen!
